The whole experience at Paul Mitchell School has been extraordinary. I booked late Friday afternoon and I had my appointment the next morning. Ellie was phenomenal and soon to be graduating with honors. Tina, Ellie’s learning leader gave confident and knowledgeable instruction My color, cut was beyond my expectation. KUDOS!! Ellie P. along with staff and future stylists. I would recommend anyone to have the true Paul Mitchell School experience.

Excellent work! I went in with the mind set that she was a student but was very surprised at how well my hair turned out. Very professional and the cut was done flawlessly. I didnt have a run of the mill request (I like a stacked short bob, so it can go wrong quickly)The student I got was just as good as my regular stylist. She wasnt as fast but more precise. I would 100% recommend. BTW my normal cut costs $45 and this was amazing at just $12. If I didnt live in a different state I would only get my hair cut here.

Mike and Ashley took on my hair job. It took a while but thats because I had come in with blue hair wanting a light pink. They were extremely friendly and accommodating. They gave me the exact cut and color that I wanted and I was super pleased with the result. Would DEFINITELY go back again! 10/10 Best hair experience

If you are looking for the best Cosmetology education and a great culture then I would 100% recommend PMTS Tulsa. I am 13 days out from completing my 1500 hours and I am confident that I have the knowledge and skill necessary to succeed. The staff are some of the greatest people I have ever met. They are genuinely passionate and care about each individual student. The opportunities that Paul Mitchell provide are unmatched. Twice a year the students are given the opportunity to travel with Paul Mitchell schools and one of them being to a week of intense training and seminars with the industries top artists. Guest artists are also brought in weekly to teach and talk about everything from the newest trends and techniques to salon business, marketing and development. We arent just taught state boards and how to do hair but are given the opportunity to obtain other certifications (airbrush makeup, lash extensions, brow threading, hair extensions etc..) as well as the tools necessary to truly be amazing. The past year of my life has easily been one of the greatest experiences of my life. If I were to go back and do it all over I would choose Paul Mitchell over and over again.

I went for color and cut. I had red hair and wanted to go blonde. My stylist Sidney Parks showed me a technique called shadowing since my hair was too red to go as light as I wanted, dont want orange! Im so happy with the colors, dark brown with light caramel highlights. So glad they took the time to explain and recommend options for the best colors to work with my hair. The cut Im in love with also. Great place to go.

LOVE Them love love love. I have been coming here for 3 years and NEVER had a bad experience with them. Always been amazing! I have recommended them to all my friends and several have come and loved it! LOVE LOVE LOVE THEM!!! Wont go anywhere else to do my hair!

I am loving my hair cut and my eyebrows! Mikey did a wonderful job on my hair and my brows. I do suggest getting the scalp treatment. Its like a tingly massage on your scalp that leaves it breathing in the fresh air! Also Mikey is the champ at brow waxing! She got it done without a bunch plucking. Do plan on spending some time there. But I think they are doing a great job with the way they supervise the students. Since I have extremely curly difficult hair, it was definitely worth the wait.

Went in for color correction (yes I tried box dye 😖) on a Saturday. Michaela took me back to her station and examined my hair type and asked about what color I was wanting, she came up with a game plan and had her teacher come over and discuss with me the plan and then we were off and running! I am thrilled with the color results! No more hideous red band of color on my roots! I would recommend to my family and friends for sure!PS Paul Mitchell sells per shampoo products also!

Kayla Spencer cut my hair a couple of months ago. It was her first experience cutting a pixie and she did a great job. I also enjoyed the wash house experience and a conditioning treatment. The school is great and the instructors guide the students to do a great job. I would recommend Kayla and the school.

I really love this school. Ive been going here for three months and have also had my hair done here multiple times. Now keep in mind, we future professionals are just that, FUTURE professionals. It takes a little longer than a more expensive salon and you are allowing students to work on you, but if you trust in the system and dont have huge time constraints, the results will make you feel and look like the best possible version of yourself. Whether you come to school here or just come in for a service, I know youll love your experience!

I love the haircut I Brian gave me!! I showed him a picture of what I wanted and he did it. He did suggest leaving some of my hair long on the sides and I am glad I listened. So I now have a 2 in 1 haircut depending on how I want to wear my hair that day. Brian is a true artist with hair.

Be sure to ask for Makayla Wadsworth. She does wonders with hair. From up dos to colors and fabulous cuts. She does a professional job in a timely manner. She is so friendly and personable. Have her work her magic on your hair and you will not regret it!

I’ve been here twice and had a great experience each time! They are meticulous and it always comes back better than a pricier salon. It takes quite a bit of time, but well worth it for the price.

What an amazing group of stylists! I booked services for a my wedding (myself and my bridal party) and I was so impressed. The stylists did such a great job, and stayed back in case we needed touch-ups. Their dedication clearly shows in the work they do.

I am beyond please with my hair after visiting Rachel M. this past Saturday. I had no idea what to expect when I went to Paul Mitchell the School Tulsa, as it was my first time. But when I walked in, I was treated so nicely. And had my hair done by Kate. Let me just say by far the best haircut and treatment I have ever had!

I love the atmosphere and the instructors. The only draw back that I have is the so called WASH HOUSE experience. The first time I paid extra to get the works, the cosmetologist was great. He massaged my neck, hands and temples, he put the sugar scrub on my scalp. It was awesome, Then I had a girl ask me what all I expected out of it. Like they have no set way of doing it, sometimes they act rushed to get through it so it makes is less relaxing then it is meant to be. The last few times has not been worth the money.

I went in today and asked for bayalage. Before the student put on the toner I asked if I was going to see the highlights stand out from the rest of my hair and she said yes. I came out with my hair wet and was told that it looks different dry. It is dry by now and it looks like nothing was done to my hair. I just paid for my hair to look the same!!!

This is a really good place to get a high quality haircut at a decent price. I normally stay away from salons because they generally overshoot how to cut a guys hair. (I.e. Fluff over quality.) This axiom does not apply here. My stylist Chris, takes his time and really transforms my head from a crazed lawn to looking like Jon Ham from Mad Men. The proof is that when I go to work on Mondays, I usually get 2-3 compliments from the single ladies in the office. If you want a good cut and shampoo, go here.

Not happy with my haircut or color what so ever! The color look 2 toned, not blended well, the instructor cut my bangs herself and cut them way too short and the rest of my hair was cut shorter than expected! NOTHING like the pics I showed them. Very disappointed.....

I decided to come here at the beginning of April 2015. I called and spoke to Natasha Abbage. She had this really amazing bubbly personality, shes one of the reasons why I wanted to come here. Someone from Owasso recommended me to come here because its a pretty amazing school. My inspiration is my grandma. Im really glad I decided to come here. This school is all around amazing. I recommended anyone to come here to go to school or just get a hair cut, style, or color!

I came to this school one year ago with healthy hair and am left with damaged, broken, sad hair. It looks absolutely nothing like it did. I keep trying to trust there is someone there who can understand how to care for my hair and make it better, but it is worse than ever before. It has come out in a big clump and continues to do so after a so called crochet that has left me and my hair devastated. I trusted that my hair needed a rest and needed to be put up, but it has further ruined my hair.It seems I have run out of options and have to seek a professional who already has a license to try to get some of my pride and self esteem back.My hair has been ruined and I dont know for how long.The stylist published a picture of her work without my permission on Instagram and I am going to follow with her devastation.

I went in today with a last minute request to swap who was going to cut my hair for Payson Myher instead since I had already seen his work posted by friends on my feed and couldnt have been happier with how the whole experience was. Payson definitely takes his time to make sure you get what you want and he also has a great eye for whats best for each head of hair and how to go about it. Ended up scheduling another in about six weeks. Looking forward to seeing how far he takes his craft.

Wow my oh my. This school is a total hell hole. The staff, to be specific, the director and her colleagues are all money-hungry. I attended school here hoping for a helping hand through out my struggles but instead, I got a bias advisor that literally admitted to being bias with the student body. Who does that? The most unprofessional thing I’ve ever seen. It’s messy, scheduling and hours for state board are somewhat messy but the staff really is what made me leave this place. I’d take it all back if I could. Money was never the problem, it was the intentions of the director and advisor that made me leave this place. It was awful. So here we get “advisories” for being late or malicious gossiping or absences, yet I knew a student who missed a Saturday every single damn Saturday and never got an advisory, needless to say the director admitted to giving some students the discipline action while some who did the same thing, would not. Go ahead and let me know how you feel about this. Typical, I know, but just thought you should know.
