Great haircut in all aspects. Ive been going to Mike for some time. Its always a great haircut. The shop is neat, clean and comfortable, and much more private than most. I have NEVER had to wait long for my appointment. Lastly, as much as I appreciate Mikes haircuts, I also appreciate that his cuts really do seem to look sharp for several weeks - thats a good cut.

I was skeptical after reading all of the great reviews. I mean really who gets nothing but good reviews? First thing I asked him was how much did he pay all of these people to leave good reviews. Well it wasnt long before I realized that all of the reviews were true. Probably the best haircut Ive ever had and this was my first time using him. It wasnt just a haircut it was an experience. I live in Arkansas but work over in Tulsa pretty often. Ill definitely be holding off on my haircuts from now on till I come back to town. Its already been said but its true you will feel better when you leave then when you came in I can almost guarantee it. He has a lot of jokes and you cant help but laugh. Mike has been my hair stylist/barber for over 30 years (since he took up the scissors). Mike is very professional and very good. Hes been doing my wifes hair and my mother-in-laws hair for many years. Mike has done hair for people I know from church for many years and my job, also. Ive only heard great things about Mike all these years from all these people we know in common.Mike is a very positive person, who has a great way of always making you feel much better than when you arrived at his shop. Well, does it get any better than getting your hair cut by “Mike”? I don’t think so!Mike has been cutting my hair for many years, I’m sure he could tell you the exact date. Through everything he and I and for that matter all of us have been through, he is always “just the nicest guy”. He cuts a pretty-mean head of hair as well. I wish I could refer everyone to use Mike, they would not be disappointed.

Mike has cut and styled my hair for the past 35 years. He always does a great job. I dont ever remember having a bad cut. My husband started having Mike do his hair probably 30 years ago and then of course both of our kids have gone to him. One of our kids lives out of town, the other out of state, and both of them try to get in to see Mike while they are here. Our daughter had a hard time finding someone to cut her hair after moving out of state as she was so happy with the job Mike did. Mike is always a pleasure to be around. He is always funny and positive. In fact, you can quit going to a therapist if Mike cuts your hair! You will laugh the whole time!

I have been going to Mike since the late 1980s so I guess that is a pretty good recommendation in itself and I still have my hair. I was referred to Mike by a friend who also is still going to Mike. Mike wants each hair cut to be done exactly as we want it and if there is a problem he tells me to come back and he will fix it. I have in all these years never had to do that. He stays current on hair fashions and gently lets me know if I need to change something. He is always happy to see me and we have become friends over the years. He tries to make our time in the chair enjoyable. He has some old standby routines he does to entertain us and a good joke or 2 to make you laugh. I live on the east coast but visit my family in Oklahoma multiple times a year and I always make sure to schedule a haircut while Im there. I, too, am a Tulsa native. I met Mike in 1977 while trying on Tuxedos...let me explain. My fiancé and I were reserving tuxedos for our wedding in September of that year. Mike was a one man show at that time operating out of the tuxedo store. I really didnt have a barber in Tulsa since I had been living up in the mountains in Colorado for a couple of years. Anyway, I decided it was time to get rid of my rather long hair so I sat down and Mike got after it. Ive been going to Mike ever since. Turns out that my wife and Mike are the same age and have the same birthdate. Once a year, on her birthday, Mike calls and reminds her how old they both are. He doesnt even need to tell her who it is any more, she knows. Besides being a great barber, Mikes a great guy...if you already let Mike cut your hair, you know what I mean.
