My air conditioner quit working recently. The young man that was sent to repair was very nice and professional. Canbys is a old Tulare business. I have been doing business with them for many years. Recently first time I was in actually in the store. The girl at the desk was very nice and helpful. I will continue to do business with them!!!

We discovered at 2:15 AM that our AC has stopped working. I got up and placed and inquiry on Angi. When I got a response the next morning, learning that it would be at least five days before I could schedule and appointment, I went to Google and found Canbys...lucky, indeed. I reached Yasenia at 7:15 AM and she had Eddie to my house by noon. He was very professional and switched out a defective part in less than 30 minutes. They have my business from now on and, in fact, Ill be giving them our annual service contract.

My AC went out in my house during this August heatwave. Called Canby’s for a quote. Steve called back after 5 pm and had a quote to me in 30 min based off another quote I received. Canby’s not only matched but BEAT it! On top of that he gave me better equipment than I was being quoted from their competitor. Crew showed up at 6:30 am as promised, they were clean, polite and professional. My AC system was installed and running by 1pm, can’t ask for any better service!!!

The service from here is great. We will only be using Canbys for HVAC and any other service in the future.Ive used Canbys 3 times. The first time was to fix the wiring at the unit so I could use my smart thermostat. They did that and also told me one of the other parts was going bad so I had them replace that. After that the electric bill dropped by more than half which was awesome.The second time was because I had water leaking into the house from the AC. the guy came out and cleaned the AC but told me the unit was old and should be replaced. He said the problem we were having wasnt really fixable because the unit was 21 years old. I knew it needed replaced but was hoping it would be fixable.The third time was just finished up about 30 minute before writing this. It was to replace the AC. They arrived right at about 8am and were done right around 10am.

Top notch! These guys are so professional. Weve had to call them twice, and each time they were great to work with. No upselling here. Just honest, and competent HVAC guys. Would definitely recommend.

Dishonest. I got a bill stating they came to service our AC when nobody was home. They didn’t. I didn’t receive a call, nobody ever signed for it and they didn’t leave a sign or card on door to show they were ever here. Tried to dispute, but they just sent to collection over a mere $100 that I wouldn’t mind paying if they actually provided the service. Unbelievable.

The gentlemen who came spent 10 minutes, charging me the full hour of service. After 10 minutes, they sheepishly admitted that they didn’t know what was wrong, that the heater was likely not fixed, and it would very likely result in a call-back. I asked them if they would keep looking for the faulty part and the gentlemen said they had other calls for service. The heater worked for 4 hours and stopped. They were impossible to get a hold of to come back out for service and I have never had such poor workmanship performance. This business lacks the requisite ethics to maintain a license.

If ur looking for above and beyond honest service.. this is the place to go. Ask for doug, u will not be disappointed.Edit...I cannot express how much of a help doug was. I walked out of there super happy. This world needs more people like him in this customer service business.
