I always have Sarah, I request her and I always leave happy with my hair. She takes what I want and makes it 20x better then I ever could think of. Obviously a little pricey like everything in the mall/at JCPennys. Dont regret it though.

First time here and I got my Hair cut. I did a walk in and Abraham was my stylist today and he took his time made sure what I wanted and I was happy with how friendly and also w his communication and his work he did for me! I would recommend him when u come in and I will certainly bring my boys husband and myself n girls here next time we need anything done!!

Everyone was very friendly here.. I told the girl (Angela?) I wasnt sure what I wanted, but she cut my hair in a way that gave it some life again. Definitely recommend.

I took my 17 year old son to JCP Salon in Westfield mall, Tukwila. We were greeted by Abraham. We gave him a rough idea of what we wanted. Showed him a few photos off the internet and Abraham knew exactly what my son wanted!Abraham was very patient and did a great job with my sons perms. We asked him to suggest products to use at home and Abraham made good suggestions.I highly recommend Abraham and hope to continue to take my son there although Tukwila is a little far away from where we live!

Abraham was AMAZING. New to the team, but not at all new to hair, he made it a point to make sure I got what I came for. Couldnt recommend him enough.

I had Janet Kim, she did great!! I did two colors, and she was very careful to make sure that the colors didnt blend together while washing, and she did a great job styling and cutting it!!

Abraham cut a solid two feet off my stick-straight hair, he did a great job, he was very thorough and careful to make sure he got it even, Im very impressed!

Passionate about her work and listens carefully to what you want. My hair went from quarantine mess to healthy, beautiful, and sleek. As well as gorgeous color! She does amazing at cuts and color. Hard to find a stylist who can do it all! Highly recommend!

The salon is very clean! They take their CO-VID cleaning protocols seriously and have created a really safe and secure environment for their clients. Also there is plenty of space in the salon so that social distancing guidelines can be followed.I have been going to Stylist Young for a long time. She is the best! Young always does exceptional haircuts and really listens to the needs of the client. If you want a high quality haircut at an affordable price, choose Young as your stylist!!

Had a great experience! Took my mom there for mothers day and it was very pleasant. Check in process for the appointment was quick and easy. We both got great haircuts. Sarah listened well and was easy to talk to. I definitely plan on going back.

Rusty gave me the best hair cut/trim I’ve had in a long time! He was an unexpected surprise, an old timer with a wonderful spirit of creativity, fun sense of humor and a very precise hand for my wavy bob haircut— he actually used a little ruler to make sure everything was even. Normally I go for female hairstylists but fate sent me to Rusty and I’m so glad. I’ve never had someone do a real trim when I asked for it, people always go too far and don’t listen, but he took off just enough and enhanced the style I had. He got me in quickly the same day, the receptionist was very sweet and my appointment was on time. Thank you!

I highly recommend that if you want to have your hair color done right and have it look totally natural, then go to the JCPenney salon and ask for Rusty Jones. The man is a wizard with color. He knows exactly what the best color is to highlight your own natural coloring and well make it look like its your own natural colors. Trust him! He truly is an expert.

What can I say I Love, love my custom color by ms. Coffin doll herself. If you are looking for something custom definitely go see Deshon Coffin. She will wow you with her skills of custom color and you wont want to see anyone else.

Great first impression. Wonderful fun experience. I was a walk in, didnt wait 10 mins. Rusty was my hair designer. Got a cut, shampoo, style and full blow dry. He has many years of experience and excellent understanding of hair. He is patient, friendly and translates what you want and what he can do to execute it. But also gives professional suggestions. He has a signature cut/style, I loved it. It turned out fabulous. It was a multi layered voluminous cut.

All the staff was nice but I hate my hair cut. Completely not what I asked for but it could be worse. Do not let Penina do your hair. I asked for a v-cut shape and she pretty much just cut it straight across the back. My hair was pretty long and now it’s like a shoulder length bob. No layers,thinning or face shaping. And my hair is thick so the bottom of my hair looks silly cut straight across. I wish the girl who originally was supposed to cut my hair did she was a lot nicer and I feel she was had more and idea of what I was going for but she didn’t feel strongly doing that style. She was great tho.

I went to the salon yesterday and Shannon did my hair, she is so nice and a great stylist, she got my hair together and I am so happy, it looks the best its looked in the 5 years Ive been here, I will be seeing her on a regular basis and will refer her to others.

If you dont have stylist that dont do Black hair, just be honest about it. ITS NOT right to charge someone $70 for flat iron and you end up damaging their hair.

I LOVE JCPENNY SALON! I never worked with Penina before, but over all the years of going there, she was the BEST, Ive never seen someone so great at what they do and able to keep me entertained. The Highlights she did were gorgeous. Took longer than usual, but it was because she was taking her time and turned out phenomenal. Cant wait for her to do my hair again.

So I went in to get a touch up on my blonde roots, and long story short my roots were a different color than my ends, and my blond mixed with some low lights turned my hair grey. I was horrified and my stylist could not fix -as she had to go home. Michelle stepped up to the plate and worked on my hair late into early morning trying different things to try and pull my hair back to blonde. She exhausted all options and so we chose a dark color to go over it until it can grow out, so we did a dark brown red and it looks fabulous. I thoroughly appreciate the effort, time and dedication to her job, she is amazing. No, my hair isnt blonde right now, but it is a beautiful rich color and i am just as happy with it. Michelle will work hard to get you the look you are wanting to achieve, and I appreciate, her and this salon for being dedicated and caring. Thank you so much JCP Salon.

Pinena in jcp salon gave an outstanding transformation on my black hair. She changed it from black to brown and performed baliage. A highly appreciated and sweet women with lingering qualities waiting to expand. I would highly recommend any customer to receive a hair salon service from Pinena. A valuable employee that has magic in every touch. A truly great experience overall and wouldnt hesitate to go to her again!

There needs to be an option for 0 stars.The cut I got from PENNINA is hands-down the WORST haircut Ive ever received. I had a shoulder-length blunt bob (straight hair) and asked for a trim. I specifically said I would like 1 taken off and would like a super blunt cut. no layers, no facial framing. I was very clear about what I wanted and she said no problem. She proceeded to cut off at least 2 of hair that was falling into my lap. I grabbed a piece and said, This is more than an inch. and I physically showed her how long an inch was. She said OK and continued to cut my hair. She did a blow dry and straightened my hair, but she curled it under! After curling it under, she started cutting at it again. (Anyone who does a blunt cut knows you have to straighten it stick straight). I stopped her and grabbed a mirror - one side was way shorter than the other. I told her and she double checked it (as if I was lying) and she acted like she couldnt see it. Now this is the best part - she grabbed the longer chunk of hair (the front right side of my face) and CHOPPED IT OFF! SHE CHOPPED IT OFF!!! NO MEASURING - she chopped into it and called it good. At this point, I just wanted to get out of there. I said, Thank you and left. I shouldve gotten my money back, but I was so livid, I just wanted out of there (plus, confrontation gives me bad anxiety).Once I was in my car, I could see that the back of my hair was about 1 longer than the front. IT LOOKED LIKE A FREAKING GROWN-OUT BOWL CUT, YOU GUYS!! I have been wearing my hair back and am immediately going to my original hair stylist whom I will never leave - ever.Please. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT go see Pennina. She cant even handle a bob haircut. I mean, really.*note: If you look, you will see that I am a fairly pleasant Google Reviewer. I always try to give people the benefit of the doubt. This, however, is inexcusable.
