Had a few questions, guy said he won’t even talk about how much without having the item there, like not even a price per foot, or generalized, I have no idea if it was going to cost me hundreds or thousands, I’m sorry, but I cannot work with that, then I tried to tell him about my inexperience with this process, and he just stated, “well I know a lot”, well thanks... just makes it easier to find a better service.
Mark is a straight up Pro. If you want something done right and on time, bring it to him. I have brought many jobs to him and recommend him all the time. If you want somebody that has a fancy office and secretaries running around, go somewhere else. He does excellent work and my friends all came back and thanked me for recommending such a great place!
I went to see Richard a few weeks ago about doing my vintage freestyle bmx project, He took the time to describe the differences in selecting a color from a website and off of a color chip. He also described the advantages to adding a clearcoat during the process His crew did a very good job preparing my frame, fork and handlebars. The color I selected from a chip was extremely close to the original color indoors but when I took it out in the sun it was amazingly bold & bright a real attention getter and every part was blasted clean off all of the original paint. His price was fair his service was good and turn around time was 2 weeks I was very happy with their work and would definitely recommend them for any bicycle project you may be working on.
Im restoring a 69 GTO. NAPC powder coated the frame, differential housing, radiator core support, and miscellaneous brackets. Their work is superb, reasonably priced, and their staff and owner were extremely cordial. I highly recommend them. When I start the rebuild of my 62 Lincoln they will be my go.to.for powder coating!
Absolutely the most unprofessional and RUDE service I have ever received. The owner of this facility is foul mouthed and runs on his own set of rules. After dropping some parts off to be powder coated and offering to pay in advance, which they declined to let me do, it took 6 weeks before the parts were even completed. The owner called cursing and demanding that I come pick up the parts because I needed to pay. I previously offered to pay in full but was told to wait until the work was completed so whats really going on here? After driving 40 miles one way to get the parts at his request......the shop was closed and he wasnt even there. Upon arrival to retrieve the parts the next day, the owner continued to run his mouth and try to belittle me. He even followed me out of the building trying to antagonize. If you want top notch customer service, respect and flawless work, GO TO ELEGANT IRON!! North American Powder Coating is simply a joke. Use at your own risk! The powder coating work itself is garbage and is currently being redone by the folks at Elegant Iron here in Tucson. 👎👎👎👎
They did an excellent job.!
I was looking to get my jeep fender flares done and found this place in the process. Boy am I glad I did! Not only do they have the best prices in town the quality of work is amazing. The whole experience was great they explained everything to me and helped me pick out the exact coat I was looking for. Mark and the team were friendly, knowledgeable and great to work with. Thanks guys for a new long term customer.
I had an old Bicycle Powder Coated here and it turned out great. The bike is resurrected now and has several hundred miles on it, but no nicks or chips. The price was reasonable and the timeframe was pretty close. Ill use them again, Im planning a new bike.
These folks are awesome, I have a 2 to 1 Vance and Hines Harley Exhaust that has over 80k on it and was pitted and I thought it might be a lost cause!! The Chrome ring tip was scraped and rusty, sounded awesome, looked like garbage. It looked like A MASTER fixed it, AND THEY ARE MASTERS!! I would of paid double what they charged. You guys are wonderful.... THANK YOU.KC
Ive been a customer at NAPC for over 5 years. Most of my work is with higher end vintage and collector motorcyclesYes, the owner is a no nonsense, right-to-the-point, old school guy. Dont mistake his rough demeanor for rudeness. The guy is from Cleveland ! Understand that he runs the office and answers all phone calls himself so you may get put on hold. He does this so you can be sure of getting the right answers to your questions. He has a good crew working for him and is exceptionally picky about the quality of the work that leaves the shop. His priority is to see that you are happy and he doesnt accept payment until that is the case. In the rare case there is a problem he will make it right. He does excellent quality work at a fair price, usually with a fast turn-around time. Ive used the others in town but this place has consistently been the best. Payment accepted is cash or check- no debit or credit cards. He also doesnt do written estimates but will hold to any agreement he makes with you. A stand-up, honest, true to his word guy who loves what he does and will work to make you happy.
Beautiful work on my truck drums. Went from rusty to shiny RED!!! Very fair price. Took one week to complete. Nice guys.
Great people highly recommend.
I would not recommend this place to nobody owner does not know how to talk to people very unprofessional. My stuff was sitting there for almost six weeks before they started. so then its out there for another 6 weeks cuz I could not go pick it up. I would have him call me and talk to me and profanity hang up on me call me a liar. Very unprofessional never had any person that Ive done business with talk to me that way. I would actually go to elegant iron for all my powder coating need. From now on. Do not recommend stay away stay away stay away
Just excellent. Brought them a complete motorcycle project to powdercoat and they did a fantastic job. They know motorcycles and so knew exactly what I needed them to mask and plug and how to prepare it. I got a very good quote, on the spot when I dropped it off, and everything was done and looked fantastic 10 days later. Super happy with these guys.
Fair price for the work performed; product came back looking good and as expected. Easy and straightforward to work with. Will go back for any more powder coating needs.
Just had a custom rear bumper and swing-out tire carrier for my Tacoma powder coated here, and I was thoroughly impressed. The turnaround time was fast, price was reasonable, and the powder coating is top class. The owner was professional and a pleasure to do business with. He took the time to make sure every detail was done correctly - such as ensuring threads and bearing races didnt get any powder coat on them. He wont accept your payment until you are completely satisfied with the finished product. Ill definitely be back when I need something powdercoated right.
Absolutely awful customer service, disrespects their customers and owner has very fowl language when handling simple situations. I would not recommend doing any business with them! There are plenty of other good powder coaters in town to take your bussiness to.
I should have brought my jobs to these guys all along. They are very knowledgeable from decades of experience, perfectionists about their work---which is a must when it comes to powder coating--and generous with their time and knowledge.
Good work, decent price, spotty service. Cant deliver on the promised time frame. Very short on the phone and in person...always yelling at someone. Customer service needs work.
Great powder coating place. Excellent work. Great service. Reasonable price. A+
Rich has been extremely helpful with everything I’ve brought to him. I’ve also learned quite a bit as far as the powdercoating process and how it works. I highly recommend him and his shop for quality work and having true experience in the powdercoating process.
He powder coated our expensive patio furniture for us. This guy is old school and knows how to powder coat the correct way! Its been five years and it still looks new. Im about to use him on another job. Hes the real deal, no BS!Gerard in Tucson
I had a very good experience with this shop.Mark knows motorcycles and much more.Nice people!Very neat and orderly shop. Thanks!
The paint job was great. Only he sent my patio furniture to a company I was not dealing with and did not send to the company I had said He gave my personal information to this other company with out my knowledge and told this other company to work on my patio set with out my consent. When I called first company they did not know my furniture was > Mark thought this was funny. When I said he should pay he threaten to cut up my furniture. He charged me 85.00 for pick up and delivery but I went to the place he had taken and picked it up myself I did not know what he would do because of his threat. What he did was completely illegal, moving my furniture and authorizing some one else to do the work.
They’ve done work for me before and it was great!
I found them on Google maps due to their location and was pleasantly surprised by the service, quality, and price. Will be back for sure, I highly recommend NAPC
Mark went above and beyond powder coating about 10 items for my UTV in a really tight timeline I requested. Quality as good or better than anywhere in town with lower prices and better customer service!
Great job and quick service. The biggest drawback is they dont take plastic. This is a cash or check only kinda place.
The most horrible experience i have ever had with a powder coater. They had my parts for 3 weeks. Of the 5 small motorcycle parts 3 have bubbles or blemishes. They wouldnt give me a price just guesstimated under 200 and when i went to pick up they tried to charge me more. In 3 weeks they never once called me and acted like i was bothering them if i called.
Mark is a no nonsense straight shooter. Great customer service and very reliable!
Used Mark quite a few time in the past, but it seems when he quotes you a time how ever long it is it seems to be a wham bam job with no longevity for quality. When he first started he had quality now it just seem your getting in his way and his attitude shows it . Maybe he need to sell womans shoes or something but he is sure not customer service rep. The saying goes you get what you pay for but the attitude I didnt pay for plenty of other talented coaters out there
Work is always quality and on time or sooner. In addition Marks prices are fair. Highly recommend.
Always delivers great product....quick turnaround and great pricing. Only powdercoater to use in Tucson!!!
Solid folk, with great customer service. So refreshing to deal with!
Accurate and done when promised. This is the best service, you could not ask better co.Thank You !!Jack
Initially, I found the owner, Mr. Barger, very blunt and to the point. He has a matter of fact attitude. At first it caught me off guard, but then I realized I was there to get a good job done, not to have a salesman like person trying to pretend like they are my friend. Mr. Barger knows his stuff and is the best power coater I have found. He earns my business due to the quality of his work. I have had several custom motorcycles over the years that he has done work on. I have had NAPC powder coat jeep bumpers, jeep side steps, custom motorcycle exhaust pipes, an over cab truck rack and numerous other items. My custom motorcycles are my in pristine condition and the pipes were powder coated several years ago. Same with the Jeep bumpers and side steps, which has been off roading since they were done. The powder coating done at NAPC is very tough and durable. Better than the powder coating I have had done at any other place and also much less expensive. I will continue going to NAPC to have any powder coating needs met.
Quality work, fast turnaround, highly recommend.
Amazing work great customer service the guys there were great!!!! 👍
Great!
Perfect!!
