These guys are FABULOUS! Always very responsive, hard working, and they do a great job. They have gone out of their way and above and beyond to make sure our pool looks great. From chemical treatment to repairs to teaching us what we can do to keep our pool in better condition, I could not recommend them more. Carlos is great, but everyone we have every had the pleasure of interacting with has been outstanding.

Pima Chemical is awesome. We are new pool owners and have been fighting to get our pool fixed since early March. We spent about $1000 and Pima Chemical was able to resolve the issue quickly! Our pool was so green that we couldn’t even see the bottom! We had two other companies come out and one couldn’t figure it out and just left!! Pima got our chlorine levels squared away, and TAUGHT us what we needed to do to maintain the pool to keep it healthy. Our pool literally went from a black green color to crystal clear in a week thanks to their help. I am so thankful We found this company! We are on the continuous weekly maintenance schedule, end I’m more than willing to pay the fee (only about $50 a month) to help keep us on track. It is still way less for a year from what we paid “professionals” to fix. All we needed was DE and our chemicals balanced. No “clogs””, broken pipes, or bad filters”. We went through it all! Thanks Pima Chemical!!!!!

APC has been servicing our pool for about a year and we are very happy with the service. They have a wealth of resources if you need any service or work done outside of their chemical service. They will let you know if the pool needs anything. We are very happy with them. I highly recommend them for year round service. Costs less than doing chemicals yourself.

My sisters pool always looks so crystal clear. I asked her how she keeps it so nice and she said Arizona Pima Chemical. And her technician is Alexis. He happened to come by and said he can come back because we were in the pool. But we didn’t want to do that to him so we got out and said it was ok to get in 15 minutes later after servicing the pool. The chemicals are safe so we can jump right back in! It smelled like chlorine but I love that smell and my skin felt so soft. I highly recommend this company.

I have had Arizona/Pima Chemical treating my pool regularly with the appropriate chemicals for several years. They reached out to me recently by email and let me know that there tech noticed the pool was not staying clean and asked if I knew that they cleaned pools on Saturdays. I took them up on their service a month or two later. The gentleman, Jose, who services my pool weekly was the one who came out to clean the pool. He did a phenomenal job. The pool hasnt been that clean since I installed it.

Pool tech left our gate open on two different occasions. Most recently my husband and I were not in town for the week and the tech left the gate open allowing our dogs to get out of the yard. One of our dogs was bit by a neighbors dog Who was walking by our home, their dog also got bit. Pool company would not admit to their wrong doing, And refused to compensate for vet bills. We fired them but the very next week they had different techs show up at our home on two different occasions. They Were originally only supposed to come once a week but decided to start sending a tech twice a week Without our knowledge or permission. We will be taking them to small claims court for both vet bills!...During the summer they were not properly treating our pool, so it never got clear until we hired someone else to come find out what was going on only to find out they were not putting chlorine in the pool. I do not recommend this company if you have animals and want to keep you pool in properly treated Clean water.

Great service. Especially when Martin, our service tech notified me of a rotten egg smell near our pool equipment. I called the gas company and sure enough we had several gas leaks around our yard! He could have just ignored this but I sure am glad he didnt. He did what was right! He may have saved our lives!!!

Office staff are always friendly and accommodating. Their service tech. Aaron is top shelf when it comes to service and answering any questions you have. Let me give you and example of his follow through on a problem I was having with the filter for my pool. I called him from my house in North Carolina about a leak I had with my filter. He went to my house in Vail, AZ. that day to assess the situation. He reported back there was a crack in the filter lid and offered two solutions 1) a new top section which would have cost $450 2) a fiberglass patch which could hold up to possibly 6 months before needing to be addressed again.I told him to patch it with the fiberglass and I would be in Arizona in 6 weeks to see if it needed any further attention.When I arrived in Arizona about a week later the top section of the filter began to leak again. I talked to Arizona Chemical and Aaron to discuss options. I decided to replace the filter and Aaron was the tech. who put the new one in. I can only tell you my experience with Aaron and he is honest straight forward. I appreciate that I can always get a straight and fair answer from him and quality work performed if needed. AZ-Pima Chemical had my pool green 3 days after their visit. When I called they told me the pool chemical where fine since they where just there and refused to recheck my pool. So I cancelled all my services including a pool filter installation. Well, they installed it anyway. So now we are going to court. They are saying that the new receptionist did not relay the message. I am not sure how that is my fault. They are incompetent. Do not use.

This place is crooks they run a straight sweat shop. There employees get like 60 or 70 pools a day, your lucky if they even show up when ever they want. They wont call you and your pool will turn green. This company has zero integrity. The are not honest they dont answer there phone and yeah save yourselves the head ache

With a technician making weekly calls, weve had a green pool for 6 weeks now. I pointed it out to the technician 2 weeks in. He started the cycle of lets blame the customer at that time telling me it isnt algae, its pollen. He then continued to add near toxic levels of chlorine to the pool. I when I called to complain that they were not holding up their end of the No Green Guarantee deal they promote, I was told that it is probably my filter and that it couldnt possibly be algae. They made an appointment for a manager to come out. After waiting around for him/her, I called and was promised a call back. I received neither the visit or the call back. When I called to cancel my service, a manager began telling me again how the wretched state of my pool was basically not their fault. Ill give her credit for staying calm after I lost my cool. This companys communication is horrible, and their customer service and problem resolution when they are underperforming is even worse.

Consistantly over chlorinated the pool and failed to properly evaluate ph levels. Failed to install pump properly and I had to have it repaired after only a few months. Sadly I let the same person make the repair and now it needs repair again. Very poor service.

We recently sold our home, but have used AZ Pima Chemical for the past 6 years and our technician Fernando always made sure we had crystal clear water. We never had issues with algae and would highly recommend their services.

Used Pima Chemical today for the first time. Javier and Oswaldo (hope I spelled that right) were here right on time. Weve had AZ Pima Chemicals for 6 months now and this is the third time our pool has been green. We have a new Kreepy, new filter as well as sand. We backwash, skim and scrub weekly. Granted, its an old pool with huge pine trees overhanging the deep end but it baffles me that the first few months the water was crystal blue and now green! If its our pool thats the issue then it never should have been blue in the beginning. The manager came out about a month ago and put shock in it and it miraculously turned blue within a few hours...AMAZING! After that its been green consistently. Is there any pool service out there that knows what theyre doing!

Started off great but the last two years service is very poor. Pool is always green and they dont fix it until you call and complain. Cant they see its green when they come out every week.

We are very happy with their weekly service. They are very prompt and knowledgeable. They go above and beyond to help with our pool questions even when it doesnt relate to their service.

These people are nice people - I have used them for three years. Each year there is some problem - the man breaks into my yard,then leaves without closing the gate (my windows were smashed by vandals one year because of this - they took no responsibility), they do not bill correctly, etc. This year they were very careless with my pool and property. They did damage to my property, the pool was full of algae, They damaged pool equipment that they were not even supposed to be using (and I had to pay another company for repairs), and still they kept billing me for service that had already been paid. I had a pool repair service out and discovered more problems and poor work, so I wrote them a letter in October and cancelled the service. I was paid ahead. They still kept coming and still kept billing me, and are now billing me for November and December! You cannot get rid of them! They are nice but inept - there are just too many problems. They will tell you anything to keep you using the service, but they would not even put clarifier in the pool as it was either too expensive or it was too close to the end of the season. This was after promising me that they would get me whatever the pool needed. Tucson Pool and Spa has an A+ rating and charges about the same, per month. I am going to try them out.

We have been using them for six or seven months now and our pool is always sparkling. We have never had a problem with APC.

We have had this company for a long time never had a problem with the pool. Now our pool has been green for 6 weeks. We have been running the pump 24 -7 $$$ for days. When we call, the receptionist says its our fault and our pump isnt any good. Its 2 years old! Their customer service sucks. We are very disappointed and tired of being embarrassed when we have guests over and spending $ on shock and clarifier.

When the going got tough, they let my pool turn green while I was out of town as a result of zero chlorine and super high Ph. I called to warn them almost two weeks prior that I was continuously brushing a little algae off the walls. Nothing was done to fix the issue. I spoke with a person labeled as the supervisor who I later found out was the owner, and he gave me 10 reasons why none of this was their fault. They refuse to give a refund for the services provided that let the water turn green, and they refuse to reimburse for any of the chemicals that I needed to add myself.The owner could have turned this around and kept a customer by admitting a mistake and offering some sort of discount going forward. Instead, he has me so mad that I am actually taking the time write this review and posting it everywhere I can. I hope it was worth it!The second star is for the really nice receptionist that answers the phone, and my pool guy that seems like a nice enough human being.

Az Pima chemical has been the greatest service I have ever had continuously. We have had their service for Atleast 15 years . They dont test your water ! They keep adding more and more chlorine to the point that my family and guest had itchy irritated skin and eyes! Levels of chlorine that were to high to read when testing. The lady that answers the phone told me not to listen to leslie pools test reading because all the try to do is upsell! So unproffesional ! When in fact i have been going with leslie pools test reading for the last 5 years never having any problems and crystal clear water, never! Trying to upsell me anything ! So take my advice i learned the hard way STAY AWAY FROM THIS POISON!!!!!

This place may be one of the cheapest pool services out there but do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. My pool has been green for weeks while the weekly pool guy has been telling me the chemicals are fine and I need to run my filter longer. After a week of running the filter for 24 hours a day I finally resulted to taking a sample to Leslies for testing only to find out my chemicals are way out of line. $130 later and my pool is looking much better after a couple of days. When I called into cancel my service they still wanted to charge me extra although I have had auto paid in advance every month. They stated I should have known to not just talk with the weekly technician and that the service managers have additional tests and chemicals to fix problems even though Ive been being told the water is fine. They have been nothing but rude over the phone and overall this has been a huge waste of money. Btw Im not one of those people who leave scathing reviews every time a company doesnt bend over backwards. This is the first review Ive ever written so hopefully it saves someone else from having to deal with these people.

We had been with Az/Pima for over 10 years, I make one phone call to complain about a double bill and the office manager was so dam rude, I told her I would move to a different service provider and she told me that she recommends I do. She even said maybe she will cancel me and not provide service. This arrogant attitude after over ten years of being loyal customers. I am now with splash pool service and highly recommend them over Az/Pima Cemicals only because of the rude treatment from the office manager. These guys use chlorine gas. Thats what they do. Thats why its cheap. And you know what? It works. Never had a green pool with Chlorine gas. I have had other pool companies who charged up to $125 a month for their services, and my pool HAS turned green. Ive twice had to empty a pool, ggg ave it cleaned and refilled and it still went green. The water needs to be changed out after 5 - 10 years depending on use. I DONT own a creepy. I vacuum and brush down the sides once a week. Sorry folks - sometimes it just IS your pool. Shallow pools with overhanging trees? Youre going to get algae. Algae = green.

Have watched service guy walk in and sign paper and not check pool, I have had them for over 5 years now and service is not good. Pool now has green sides talked to the tech who stated that I wasnt running pump enough so switched to 8 hrs a day. New filter cartridges, pump etc.........
