Aikido at the Center is a wonderful dojo. The chief instructor is a sixth degree black belt with 30 years of experience in Aikido. The students are all knowledgeable and friendly. They teach kids and adults, so its a great place for families. The space itself is clean and bright and very well maintained. Its a very welcoming place!
Great Aikido school! The chief instructor is very knowledgeable in all aspects of the art. And has taught me so much. Very supportive atmosphere.
I feel Aikido At the Center is a great place to train. A tight nit and open minded traditional marshal arts club where we embrace the teachings of Osensi and train with intensity and joy. We are open to all levels of marshal and physical ability. Safety comes first above all every time we bow onto the mat. I am privileged to be a long standing member of our club.
This is a terrific dojo for the entire family. Both children and adults will find an incredible supportive environment in which all can grow and expand their practice and understanding of traditional Aikido, the Way of Harmony.
This a great dojo. The instructor is a sixth degree black belt with a lifetime of experience. There are classes for every level of practice from beginner to advanced black belt. Weapons training is integral to the Iwama style aikido taught here. A very friendly and welcoming place. Give it a try, you will be rewarded with a great experience.
I came to Aikido at the Center after 8 years of practice in another style of Aikido across the country. I was originally drawn to this dojo by the wealth of knowledge and skill of the Sensei, their vibrant kids program (the future of a strong dojo), and a welcoming environment. I have been deeply touched by the number of students at all levels that have helped me learn this new style and grow in my Aikido practice. This is my Tucson dojo family.
