Sent a letter to me stating my house was in disrepair ASSUMING I had not painted my house for 34 years. Painted twice in that time, last was 9 years ago with touchups two years ago. Patty tells me to email Architecture Committee. I do so. I follow up with the follow up, as heaven forbid anyone follow up with me. I want a letter back acknowledgement my request to show me where my house is in surviving disrepair with the added threat to take me to BOARD of Realtors if I dont comply.Ive called no less than eight times since the middle of May. No phone call follow up, no response, in right weeks. HOWS this one in particular have too much power, nit enough prowess in the perusing realm, and I dont care studier... until youre dues are due.We pay them to organize and follow rules they in my respect IF its convenient for them. Patty, you need to be accountable for your inactivity to and firmembers.

We have lived in Continental Ranch since 2006. We were happy with our home, but the HOA company at the time, combined with the board of directors, were a bit overbearing and unresponsive. We had a big change of management and leadership that came about a few years later, around 2009, that included a new HOA - HOA Management Solutions - and a new board of directors. Things have been much better since then. Our neighborhood is extremely well maintained, and the HOA office is friendly and responsive. Im not involved in any aspect of running things, but from my perspective as simply a person who lives here, I am very satisfied with and thankful for the work that those in charge are doing.

As I look at several of the comments on this site I wonder if those who have commented are talking about the same HOA that manages Continental Ranch? Ive found that the HOA Management Team working for the residents of Continental Ranch are exemplary. Actually none of the things commented on in previous posts Ive ever found to be true. Emails get answered, phone calls arent ignored, the team members are pleasant and dedicated to the community and the Board of Directors to whom they work directly for. Keep in mind that how the rules are enforced depends on the Board of Directors, the CC&Rs, Bylaws and written policies passed by the Board of Directors. My recommendation is to go to a Board meeting and voice your concerns and/or vote in a different set of Board members.

Updated to 3 stars because I got an answer. Coupon books were no longer allowed due to a change in State Law. So, quarterly statements are being sent out. We have not received a statement. When I called before, the rep should have mailed another out. I was directed to online account where we can pay. I find it hard to believe we were only people who didnt get the info. But at least now we have the answer. However, when I called before, the person should have been able to explain what the new process was, and offered to mail out information to us again.--‐‐-------------------------------------------------------We have lived in a Ranch del Lago Community since 2015. From 2015 through 2019 we would be mailed coupon booklets for the next years HOA fees in December at least. We could pay monthly or the whole amount at once. Since Chantal has left, the office is in disarray. When the coupon booklets did not arrive, I called. A rep said theyd mailed soon. Nothing. Called in January 2020, rep said they could no longer use coupon booklets, and a letter would be sent out soon. February 2020, still nothing. Called, rep said should be in mail. Now we are in March 202O and have received absolutely NOTHING about HOA dues for 2020. Board of Directors...are you aware?

I rent, however need to pay the expensive home owners fee for a pool that is always closed. This week they tore up the pool again for some unknown reason and my boyfriend who is in the business said they did not go out to bid and that a resident living near the pool has friends that make big money on the constant pool service. they also sell memberships to other people outside the community for profit. i think this company that charges these monthly fees needs to be looked in to. i understand that there is a motion to hire another management company which i strongly support and told my landlord which owns multiple properties here. The community association is really just a pool and they do a poor job, it is closed or being repaired (???) most of the year. if it looks like a scam, sounds like a scam, and walks like a scam, it is a scam. i went to the office about pool keys and was not allowed in during business hours. If i could give negative stars I would. There is a guy on here that left a 5 star review and he must be in cahoots with them or just confused about whom they are. Linda (community renter).

No issues with with this company. Follow the rules you agreed to living in that property, no problems. When my neighbors are jerks I don’t have to deal with them blocking the sidewalk or trying to stow there boat on the side of the house. They cracked down on houses that needed to be repainted which was appreciated. Your lack upkeep also affects your neighbors.

Incredibly rude and unwilling to help. We live in a very nice well maintained neighborhood in Ranco Cancion. Being treated like a criminal by HOA management solutions was embarrassing and unnecessary. They curtly dismissed any suggestions or attempts to get explanations or understanding.

Management is useless and wasnt helpful at all when we addressed our concerns. They are concerned more on making their money and getting their residents in trouble rather than help them out. I advise that you look elsewhere if youre looking to move to Reddington Hills.

I lived in one of the managed communities for several years and only once got a notice for what was an obvious issue. I never had any issues with billing, communications, or change requests. Keep your yard clean & your house decent and youll have no problems with the HoA, what a concept. After recently joining the board I can see why people get frustrated. But if you dont respond, ask questions when its too late, or want things the HoA cannot legally do thats not a fault of the management company. Everyone I know who has sincerely asked for help has either gotten it from the company or been pointed to the right govt agency to petition.

HOA Management Solutions is our HOA for one of the Rancho del Lago communities in Vail. We bought our house in 2015 and have not had any problems with them. In fact, they are so much more reasonable about yard notices, allowing a good period of time to get the yard done, compared to the tiny HOA where we rented in Rita Ranch. We have contacted them for HOA ARC (Architecture Review Committee) forms to get permission to install a custom security door, lights, to Chantal and they have always been prompt in responding. There are always two sides to a story but some people will never be pleased. We treat everyone with respect and follow the rules, which we reviewed BEFORE buying the house. And, different communities will have different rules. The management company simply manages things for the community you live in. Like, only certain weight items can be parked on the side yard, much less building a driveway, due to the location of pipes which can be damaged. Simple things to do following the guidelines of the community. So, thanks to everyone there. So far you have provided good assistance with what we have needed.

Finally, it is time! I dont like lawsuits, however it is going to be extremely interesting to depose this scam of convoluted mess. Anyone interested in the details can contact me at the email on the complaint. Interesting upon investigation, The HOA Management website used a Better Business Bureau with an A+ rating, Truth is they are not accredited at all so should not advertise the BBB Logo and they in fact have a C rating with BBB. I am actually amazed they get a C. Copies attached. Also, suspiciously over obvious, you dont see any proper names in their publications or on line information, do you? Gee, i wonder why that is? UPDATE: based on the reply I can now see it is all me and this organization is picture perfect, collecting and wasting peoples money however they like! The legalities here pile up so high it is unclear where to begin. I would go to their office and talk to them, however - homeowner neighbors are NOT ALLOWED in the office, one of those professional courtesies to themselves... In Arizona you can NOT go through the regular court system, it all goes through the Arizona Department of Housing and complaints are expensive, starting at $500. Well the pool will be closing which again begs the question... what are the residents paying for? Could it be the broken glass that sat on the roadside for weeks while i was back-east? UPDATE: Major Pool Renovation! Costing Thousands of Dollars! Was it needed? NO! Did it go out for bid? NO! Did the person/s Approving the work know the Company That Did The Work PERSONALLY? YES!!! Who Paid for this unneeded/unnecessary MAJOR renovation? Homeowners! FRAUD? SCAM? YES!!!As per Arizona State Law Homeowners associations are to operate as Non-Profit Organizations and have the best interest of the Community they serve in the forefront. Now lets see, their office is not open until 10am and closes early. If less than Bankers Hours concerns you, guess what? You are NOT-Allowed to visit the office as it is Off-Limits to the residents they are to be serving. But wait, it gets worse, Other than the grossly inflated cost of maintaining a pool that is closed the majority of the year, the biggest expense for the community is collecting funds from the community residents. Yes, that is correct, Residents PAY to have their own Money Collected. Simple mathematics indicates there is some major FRAUD going on. There is no posted budget with correct and standard accounting practices as required by law. The convoluted mess that is reported as a financial statement does not indicate the true situation at all. In short, non-profits are not to have windfall profits. So lets scratch the surface and what do we find. Specifically, Hoa Management Solutions is owned by a company named, Portmere, which is owned by Mabelle P. GumMERE (P -ort- MERE), whom also serves as the administrator for HOA Management. Now Gummere has an office at her home and also the office at 8987 Tanque Verde. HOA management is listed as having 10-19 employees and revenue between 100,000 and 500,000. Now the parent Portmere is listed as having 5 employees and revenue of $230,000. The Portmere business office is located at Ms. Gummeres residence in Neighborhood: Tanque Verde and is far more upscale than any property in the communities she is collecting funds from. In fact all payments from residents go to Phoenix for processing, most likely a service arrangement that may appear at some level to be quasi money moving, dare I use the word laundry. Poke around yourself and see these facts are out there for you to verify. In my neighborhood residents are paying for a closed pool, an over zealous rent-a-cop a bloated surveillance system, pool lighting that rivals Tucson Electric Park during a night game, oh and last but not least FEES TO COLLECT THEIR OWN MONEY!!!

I am not surprised to see the negative reviews for this HOA. Without going into detail, the owner of this company is quite possibly one of the most unprofessional people I’ve ever dealt with. As a resident of Coronado Ridge, I have seen so many instances of negligence on the part of this company, that I am literally throwing my hands up. I have filed a formal complaint with the BBB, and am currently filing complaints with the City of Tucson, as well as the partners listed on this HOA’s website. Once again, avoid this company at all costs, unless you enjoy being ignored, abused verbally and just flat-out ripped off.
