This is absolute worst Jon for a human being. They treat their employees like it’s a sweat shop. Systems NEVER work and frankly, the just don’t gaf. All they do is take your commissions and their training was absolutely worthless. Monomer works here bc there’s always issues with computers. Save yourself & don’t give the time of day. They make up any expansion to not give commission

I lost my job going into 3 months due to being sick even during this pandemic they still had no remorse for being a human being and getting sick even WITH a doctors note and me telling them i’m sick they still said i was required to work the next day after letting them know what was going on. i guess they want you to show up to work while you’re throwing up every thing you put into your body. it’s a horrible place to work even if they convince you otherwise you’ll be lied to and treated like less then a human. this company lacks a lot of things, if possible i’d keep looking for another job.

Absolutely do NOT work here. They treat their employees so horribly. No work-life balance. They do not work with your schedule unless you are in school. I know myself and multiple others who have mental illness that have worked here were at their worst point mentally because of this place. They micromanage every little thing you do. No matter how good your stats are they are not enough. You could have all perfect stats and they still complain, or they change the metrics. They basically want you to act as a salesperson, and if you don’t offer or sale something on every call you WILL get written up for it. You don’t make commission for this either. They don’t care about their employees even the ones who have been there for 5+ years. This place has gone downhill so much within the last 8 months. You have literally no help. Coaches avoid taking sup calls even after de-escalating the customer as much as you can. If you can avoid working here, I’m begging you please don’t. You will regret it. I don’t EVER want anyone to go through what I went through while working at this poor excuse for a company.

Did not respond to requests when I became ill during training. Was told 3 weeks of training before transition to phone calle, had our class taking back to back calls for hours on our 8th day. We had no clue what we we were doing. Made me come in to return work from home equipment under threat of being charged for it while I was supposed to be under 14 day quarantine from possible covid exposure. Horrible nightmare company.

Worked here for 3 years and will always have this place in my heart ya when you first start a job there is going to be some bumps and getting people yelling at you is never fun but as long as you have patients and confidence in yourself, do your job, and always show up thats all that is asked. Great chances of over time ALWAYS and staff makes you feel very welcomed as any high school might haha just wish I would have gotten that promotion, but Im off to better things.

One of the best call facilities to work for, mostly Verizon wireless support. Comprehensive training and flexibility for schedule if you need time off. Overtime available on a very consistent basis. Regular bonuses for just good attendance and taking care of the customers.

He’s not teaching my class.anything that we ask him to do so it can help us in the long run for the job he lies to out face and says yes as he quotes it and if you get this trainer switch out as fast as you can. Funny. Reading these surveys, this companies call centers need to have a full 180. Corporate Afni, I hope you read this, and see my name. Ive worked here 5 months after stepping down in my Verizon role after 7 years with you all. This company, a call center for Verizon customer service is disgusting. Everyone who reads this, and have come from Verizon or any qualifying position for promotion before, dont bother. This company doesnt hire based on qualifications like they preach, they hire close circles. While working for the Riverside location, they hired a trainer that had no experience what so ever with Verizon or classroom training and still works there. This has made an even worse experience for Verizon customers because of the lack of experience. In my head, as a customer, Id prefer someone that can give educated responses about Verizon and their products, not some randomly placed represetative. I truly wish I could say something better, but the negative posts you read on Google Review. Theyre the true posts about this company. Dont work here unless you truly have no other choice. Seriously. Its that disappointing.

I worked at Afni for about a year and it was horrible. The training in the classroom was alright and fun, TNT was stressful cause if you didnt met the standards then you can be fired, and production (the final stage the real point of the job) was absolutely horrible. Youre probably asking yourself was it horrible? It was horrible because of management and what the job is about. Now, I knew coming into the job that it was a call center for Verizon Customer Care and that I was going to be bombarded with calls of angry Verizon customers cursing you out. So I cant really complained about that but what I can complained is management. Management at Afni was terrifying, I hated coming into work. It was mostly upper management in my case. My coach (supervisor) was really nice but the Operation Manager was a totally jerk. His name was Larry, he is a racist and sexist. Im a white male, so he never directed his bigotry towards but I could see towards others, mostly towards men of color. But thats not all, other coaches wont give a damn about you. If you needed a sup call they wont help you, you needed advise they wont you, and they will also stab you in the back. Also, HR is a complete joke. I totaled about 20 hours that I worked and was not paid. I took up to HR multiple times over a course of three months and nothing happened. They just said Wait, until your next paycheck. Then that leaves me to the co-workers. They hate their job, not all of them but most of them. You can see it in their eyes. Just a complete lack of interested in what theyre doing. To be honest is really sad and depressing. I remember seeing them on break when I was still in the classroom, absolute of despair. Theyre all friendly just depress. To sum up Afni, its a dreadful, awful, appalling, and horrendous place to work at. I beg you, please dont work here.(I am writing this under an alias to protect my identity)

Im in the Afni Feb 11th training class. People here couldnt be nicer or more friendly. So far I really like working at Afni and plan to stay for years to come. A lot of information is given out and good work tools are provided. Im looking forward to each day I come to work . The management staff is great. Professionals and extremely passionate about what they do. We are NOT just a number. We are people and are treated as such. The environment is warm and friendly and the facilities are very well appointed. I saw the call floor, the ergonomics are wonderful and its a great place to work !

I havd found this place to be eons ahead of their competition-Alorica inc. The management is very involved with even the newest agents success. At Alorica I attempted promotion no less than 5 times and was only ever grantef a lateral promotion to a level 1 RTL on the ESI project. That is the epitome of a dead end job! I am ecstatic that I severed employment to work for an amazing company which is better in every single way. I can start actual 2n career with AFNI. I encourage all of my friends out there who need a viable, not to mention, profitable, career option to apply. Afni Rocks!!!!

I really enjoy working for Afni. It will be two years in September. Before Afni I did factory work in the Midwest for twenty years. Afni is a great company to work for. I couldnt ask for a better place to work. I enjoy the padded seat, air conditioning, PTO, sickpay, holiday pay, snack shack, pay, bonuses and wonderful people. I consider Afni as my retirement job from the manual labor world. Before you dig ditches or swing a shovel on the interstate or work at a fast food establishment .... Good pay but high turnover rate. If you know anything about business, you should know what that means. Stay away! This place is extremely deceptive and manipulative. Its not about having a tough skin, its about having morals. The managers will degrade you far worse than the customers and will make do whatever it takes to benefit themselves, even if it means making you screw over your customers intentionally.The workplace is also similar to high school. You will be treated like a child. Dont be fooled by their friendly attitudes, theyre far from your friends. To them, you are literally a number. Last I remember this place was going bankrupt. Its sad it hasnt happened yet. Also remember, all your phone calls a recorded and they will bring up those recordings to make an example out of you for the next group of people who dont know what theyre getting themselves into.If supervisors make a fool out of their own employees and laugh at them, what makes you think they wont do it to you? What does this say about how the supervisors treat their employees? As I said, this is just an overall immoral place. If youre immoral and have no self respect for yourself, then this is your dream job and you deserve it. Otherwise you have better options available, even if you get less pay, you can still build yourself up and be treated with the respect you deserve.

High turnover rate for employees. I worked in a call center for 2.5 years back home in another state. I come here, and didnt last but 11 weeks in their training bc it was the holiday xmas season and customers were rude af. They dont tell you when they hire you that your employment is solely based on your good surveys vs bad surveys. And for every bad survey, you need 10 good ones to cancel it our. The surveys ask the customers 2 questions. If they are not 100% surveys you fail. 50% survey is a fail. Dont waste your time here.

I worked for about two years in this location, i did enjoy my job. Once Seth the main manager left everything went down hill. Some of the operation managers are horrible and treat you like your nothing. This also includes some of the supervisors. I know of a lot of people that left the company for the same matter.

1st off, all the positive reviews are from the current manager staff. I thought that was not allowed on Google. They do that to increase their rating and draw people in. Afni (third party call center for Verizon)has a HUGE turnover rate. Why? Because they place unrealistic goals for their staff. Nothing else is important to them except their surveys that the customers give after a phone call. If someone decides to end their service, the rep takes a hit. If the customer isnt tech savvy enough to understand what the tech is saying and then gives them a bad review, the tech takes a hit. There is no team building, only high stress and a lousy work environment. Steer clear of this place and hopefully they will learn to value their employees instead of trying to intimidate them.

If you like being targeted because you dont join the leaderships circle, if you like being harassed when your sick, if you like management who plays favorites and an HR thats almost completely uses less youll love this place. I was a top performer not only as an agent but as a coach and I was treated like a dog. Its all about rumors and hearsay there. They get people to lie and run and spread rumors and they also dont do accurate investigations its all one sided. They can term you for hearsay and only go off of one persons word, Very sad and unprofessional place and they put on a fake smile and pretend to be your friends and have your back but In the end its nothing but scum bags and sad excuses for human beings. I would stay away from this disgusting company and anyone in it, you can find better people and a less hostile work environment then here believe me. I will speak to whoever wants to ask questions about that place in detail. I refuse to let more people go threw the horrible uncomfortableness that I felt there and the pure disrespect. Worked here for 9 months. Flew through training and didnt start having issues with management until I got switched to a new supervisor. The operation manager Larry is two faced and fake, God forbid if you drop a survey and its the end of the world and wants you fired. I had a bad month and dropped 4, no matter what I did my customers werent happy, my supervisor Elisa did what she could and at the end of the day I was accused for stealing customer information and fired for not following clean desk policy. Ridiculous when people around me or sitting directly next to me had their headphones in and were on their phones. I wouldnt recommend working here, you get singled out and treated like trash if youre not perfect. Good luck to anyone who works here.

No one knows what is going on the whole interview process is waste of time. Your schedule is always changing so you wont even have a life. The pay is really bad. Very unprofessional management and human resources. Its only good for qucik money cuz they will hire anyone with a pulse. It might be better than flipping burgers. The only way to be successful is if ur in bed with management. You only get support if ur eye candy. You have agents doing illegal drugs. An employee was robbed at gunpoint, punched and pistol whipped AFNI did nothing. They hire anyone. I wouldnt be shocked if they have advertising for jobs at methdone clincs.

Jamie Thomas is the Prince Joffrey of AFNI. Cant trust a company that would hire failed politician like Miguel Cuevas. Why stop at running several schools into the ground when you can join a vendor and run its new exciting projects in the ground, too? AFNI: a great place to look for another job at on your lunch break...which is literally what I did, doubling my wages. Filled out the application using their Wi-Fi. Hahaha.
