Ive been here twice, once by myself and once with my son.I didnt notice my stylist was intentional giving me a bad haircut. The second time she was rude to me. I wanted Vanilla Ice for my kids picture day. Im making sure my wife never asks me to come here again. The receptionist was profesional. Thats why its a 3.My sons college Republican haircut was good.

When I walked in I immediately felt welcome. I was greeted and Carlos introduced himself to me. Sydney was ready for me even though I was early. She took very good care to look at my hair. She listened to what I asked her to do.She made an observation and suggestion. Then she went to work. We shared nice conversation. My hair is So pretty! It’s soft, bouncy, and has a beautiful shape. My experience exceeded expectations. Thank you- I will definitely be back.

This was one of the worst experiences i have has at hair salon . I explained what i wanted and 3 hours later it wasnt at all what i wanted . She tried to fix it . I spent another 2 hours there. In the end I came home with hair color on my face. What a waste of a saturday and money.

If you are looking for a magician with a magic wand, you really need to go to Aqua Salon. I was over the moon with my cut, highlights that are shimmery and natural, and my post cut blowout style. Highly recommend. I can’t see going anywhere else.

Renee is wonderful! I call her a magician and just come sit in the chair and say, “do your magic!” Her color always comes out perfect. Carlos and Ginger are also lovely, professional, and fun to chat with. I love this salon and am so glad it’s in Tucker!

Balsama gave me a haircut and full highlights and I was very happy with the end product, and also with the process. As a hijabi, I had a hard time finding someone who could both cut and color my hair in an appropriate setting. The back room of the salon is behind a wall so theres no problem with windows, and while the room is not completely closed off, Balsama made sure to notify the one male stylist in the salon of my needs and he was happy to accommodate by avoiding that back area during my appointment. I was happy to find that the salon uses Aveda products for color and style as they are high quality products derived from natural ingredients. Balsama was kind, professional, easy to talk to and helped me put my vision for my hair into a concrete plan. Definitely recommend Balsama for any cut and color.

This salon is diamond-quality in my neighborhood. Carlos, Ginger and Stylists make me pampered. On my last visit (with a bad home hair color), Renee whisked me into a chair, and started working her magic. I walked in for a haircut and walked out with highlights (which did wonders for the color) and a haircut complete with some waves that lightened my day! Thank you all for always making me feel at home and beautiful.

I have loved going to Aqua Salon for years now. Staff has changed over the years, but the owner, Carlos, always seems to find friendly and talented stylists. In addition to being a great stylist, Carlos is also very high energy and fun to be around. Stylist, Renee, has been doing my hair for over a year now, and shes excellent. I always get a great, lasting color and the perfect cut. The receptionist, Ginger, is a very pleasant, sweet and uplifting person. I always leave with a smile!!

I went for the first time on Tuesday, 4/2/2019. I had been going to the same person for 5 years and was looking for someone local to my home in Tucker. I took a chance, explained my situation to the Receptionist and explained that I needed someone experienced with coarse, thick hair. I was scheduled with Rachel Nicole. She took 2 hours to understand and cut my hair with an exactness Ive never experienced. Very sweet girl. Im a quiet customer, just took off 1 star for all the product talk, though I know thats to be expected. I appreciated her honesty on the finer points of my cut, and am happy to have found a new stylist close to home!! You just dont find people who care that much every day, highly recommend.

They completely ruined my mom’s hair. If I could give no stars I would. She was a blonde trying to go gray and they dyed her hair back to VERY DARK brown. She had been spending lots of money trying to get her highlights right so she would feel comfortable in the transition to going gray and they ruined it. The salon wouldn’t even refund her for the months of work they flushed down the toilet.

Lately I’ve had a lot of things go on that made me feel pretty down and needed something to pamper myself. I had always wanted a balayage but was honestly too afraid and it is normally expensive. However, I had some extra money and decided to treat myself. My stylist (Alex) was 40 minutes late. When we did get started, I told her I wanted a blonde balayage. She asked to see a picture, which I already thought was weird but I showed her one. Long story short, she began dying my hair with foil. I had never gotten a balayage done before, so I did not know how it was done. Had I known she was doing highlights, I would have stopped her. It wasn’t until she was halfway through that I realized she was doing that. My hair looks pretty, but it’s not what I asked for

Easily the worst hair cut I have ever had. Do yourself a favor and stay far, far away. I’m pretty sure they learned to cut hair on YouTube. They used a dirty hair brush. My hair cut is uneven and completely unlike what I asked for. They gave me BANGS. I did NOT want bangs. They look terrible.Do yourself a favor and go literally anywhere else.

Tried this salon after moving to Tucker and had Michael cut my hair for the first time after doing a 9 inch hair donation. He did such an awesome job, was very confident in his work and rightfully so. Such good conversation while sitting in the chair too! Since first having him cut my hair, he has cut one of my 4 year olds hair and my mom has made an appointment with him as well!

Im not sure if they are racist or just very unprofessional. Very nice nasty is the best way to put it. I was told that they were completely booked, two Saturdays in a row. On the 3rd Saturday I called at the top of the morning to schedule and was told that the manicurist hadnt arrived yet. Called 10 mins later and was told she was completely booked. Took it upon myself to drive to the location just to see how booked they were. Not booked at all from my observation. Spoke to a receptionist who told me that they fill up quickly when they offer Groupons, not sure why she assumed I was a Groupon customer. Nevertheless, she scheduled me for an appointment for NEXT TUESDAY, as i walked out the door I heard her tell a lady shes definitely a grouponer.... I WONT BE RETURNING.

I purchased a groupon for a mani/pedi. When I scheduled my appointment, I told them I wanted gel polish and would pay extra. My appointment was for 1:30PM. After waiting 30 minutes to be served, the nail tech who barely spoke any english asked me if i could wait longer so she could take a lunch break. I explained to her that i was in a hurry. The nail tech disappears for a while as I soak my feet in the pedicure chair. She came back and told me she had to leave to go help her daughter and asked if I could come back . I told her i could not and asked if someone else could do my mani/pedi. She offered for another lady to do it but the other lady did not know how to do pedicures. THEN, she told me she did not know how to do a gel manicure . I requested to speak to a manager, and the nail tech refused to call them over. I ended up leaving with NO mani/pedi AND they redeemed my groupon voucher when I checked in for my appointment. I tried explaining the situation to the receptionist Ginger, but she told me to contact groupon for a refund, because this has happened before.Stay AWAY from this place!! Horrible experience!!!

DO NOT try and book an appointment here. Ive scheduled two appointments with them. The first time they cancelled the day of, mere hours before the appointment. The second appointment was cancelled because supposedly there was no manicurist available, and they werent sure why it was scheduled in the first place. It was the SAME lady he scheduled the appointment. Now I dont know about others, but that sounds quite fishy to me. I bought a Groupon for the place. I am pretty sure that is why I keep getting the runaround. If you dont want to honor your Groupon, DONT OFFER THEM! Unbelievably terrible customer service. I will now be letting my Groupon go to waste.

My appointment was cancelled and re-scheduled twice. Upon arrival to my third scheduled appointment, I was told I was 30 minutes early, despite my appointment time being confirmed for the time I arrived only days prior. I sat to wait and was approached and told the nail technician was behind, so my wait would be much longer and perhaps I should run an errand instead of wait. It seems this business is not concerned with serving people. Very unprofessional.

Called and made an appt on 9/29 for 3:45pm. Received a call from the salon on Wednesday about changing my appointment time to 3pm due to the manicurist having to leave early for her son school band performance. Informed them that I have a work schedule and can not guarantee that I will be able to come in 45mns early. Received a 2nd call the next day from the same lady asking once again to reschedule because it was inconvenient for the manicurist or just get a refund for my groupon purchase. I immediately thought it was a little rude and aggressive but decided since it was a gift to my significant other, I will adjust my schedule and go in early at 3 instead. On Friday I called them at 2:32pm and told them that we were on the way, just to be told that no the manicurist has to leave at 4pm now. Flabbergasted I informed the lady ( Ginger) that she may be mistaking because my appointment was switched to 3pm. She then proceeded to tell me to come in and speak with the manicurist and find out if she will be able to provide services for us. We drove thru the friday rush hour traffic from perimeter to tucker, filled out the intake form, waited 15mns just to be told by a technician named Jessica in a very condescending and rude tone that no one will be able to give us services and that we are welcomed to reschedule or get a refund! I was left speechless, disrespected and so offended that all I could do was shake my head and ask for the manager. Jessica proceeded to tell me that she doesnt know what I want her to do, but there was nothing she can do for me and she was busy with another client. We never even saw the manicurist, she said that the owner was absent and the receptionist that was our initial contact never returned to the front desk. I absolutely can not believe that Groupon is doing business with such an ill establishment. I have never experienced such impolite and rude services. We wasted 2 hours just to be stuck back in traffic without manicure pedicure and they ruined my Significant other surprise. I will go to any length to make sure no one else goes thru what we did. I will contact the BBB, Ill write social media reviews tirelessly, but Ill make sure this business is respectful of all individuals.. This is highly unacceptable

If it had not been for the Groupon I purchased, I probably would have never visited this spa ... and I will never visit again (with or without a deal)!The spa employees are friendly, yet unprofessional. When I got there for my APPOINTMENT, the front desk receptionist brought me to the lady who was going to be doing my mani-pedi. I guess I disturbed her gossip time with the other employees because she had me sit back in the front for 10 more minutes while she continued her conversation. Then when I finally sat in the chair for my pedicure, the massage was not working. Rather than offering for me to move to a chair where the massager was working, she just continued on with the service. The spa is too big to relax, the music kept going in and out, and my nail tech continued entertaining conversation with other employees while working on my nails. Needless to say, it took a lot longer than usual. Everyone was very friendly and spoke and tried to get to know me, but I was not paying to be a part of a social club, Im paying for a service to get my nails done. I do not recommend this place.

Oh My! Where to begin! Please DONT be tricked in to using the Groupon for the Mani/Pedi service at this Salon.1. You must make an appointment ... the closest I could get was a week away.2. Even though the groupon is for 2 mani/pedi appointments, it must be used by the same person on 2 separate occasions.3. You must be a NEW customer. I had not been there since last year, but when I got there I was told (by the extremely rude receptionist) that I couldnt use the groupon. Not only that, but they would not honor the face value of the groupon. I was told the refund must come directly from Groupon.I dont remember the mani/pedi being all that great, maybe that is why I wasnt tempted to go back unless it was a good deal.

THIS IS A RACIST SALON! EDUCATED CONSUMERS BLACK OR WHITE DO NOT GO THERE! I went there using a Groupon for the mani/pedi. Initially, the personnel was good the mani/pedicurist was ok ( I would give here a C). Let me tell you the story:I was getting my pedicure done and conversing with all who came over to my area. The hair stylist talked a lot with the young girl that was getting a service done (I think). We talked together about what the girl was going through. The hair stylist went back to her area.Now I am getting my manicure. The hair stylist has a customer who loudly starts talking about the Paula Deen situation. She says her views then says (...uh its okay for them to say it, but we cant say it.) .Im apalled at this, but she went on to say...they can go back to Africa! Nobodys keeping them here. Okay, now Im messed up. I say to the mani/pedi lady Where is the owner ? Do you hear what she is saying? (I wanted -and in hindsight shouldve- went over to them while they were talking but I didnt) The mani/pedi lady called over the hair stylist and I asked her if the customer (who was gone by now) knew I was in the spa (I was the only African American in the spa) and she said no...I said But you knew I was in here Her face dropped and she went on to make all kinda excuses.She said shes only done her hair three times and shes not a loyal client.Later, I called back and spoke with the manager who said she was in there at the time but hadnt heard any of what was going on. I told her neither employee, at minimum, apologized for what happened. The manager apologized over and over and offered a free follow up visit. I let her put it on the books.I knew they would call to confirm that appt. and they did. I asked if the hair stylist still worked there...she does. I asked to speak with the owner who avoided me to the point I said just take me off the books (I had no intention of going anyway).Also, I called and told Groupon them what happened - they refunded my purchase but I expected them to stop doing business with the salon. They still have them on their line up. I would think Groupon would not want to be associated with a company that has a racist business.I could have made a big fuss over this event, but I didnt. I went back and forth whether to do so, after the anniversary of the march on washington, Im glad that I didnt. I learned that you can kill them with kindness - I was totally not treating them the way they were treating me during the incident.So, make your own decision but KNOW that racism is ALIVE and WELL in Tucker, Georgia.
