We purchased windows and doors through Cascade for a new build. They were delayed but not by much. The clay option is beautiful. The windows look and feel fantastic. My experience with the ordering, amending and delivery were all superb. A gentleman in the delivery department addressed a question I had about the second part of our delivery in a courteous and succinct fashion. 10/10 experience for us. Should we need additional windows in the future, Cascade has our business.
I purchased a brand new home in Woodburn. The windows and sliding door were purchased from Cascade Windows. From day 1 when I moved into my home the sliding door did not work. This door was faulty and poor workmanship. My door doesn’t lock and doesn’t work. I called cascade and cascade said that this is not covered under the warranty. That there was no way to prove that this was how I received it and that was normal wear and tear. very dissatisfied and disappointed. They denied my claim and refused to send someone out here to take a look. Instead they offered to send me the parts and have me do it/fix it myself.
I tried several Cascade windows in a high end home and these windows felt very cheap. They even made strange noises that windows shouldn’t make. I decided to pass on making an offer because of the poor window choice made by the builder. No doubt these windows would have been a major issue and bummer to see the customer service is lacking from all the other reviews.
Went back and forth email with cascades service department finally i called May 26,21, told service department where my window that was bad. Dealer sent you everything you ask for. Service department said okay I will ordered the window today, should take 2 weeks. Called back the service department today 6/8/21, ask what is the status of my window. Oh we have not even ordered the window, I will do it today, terrible service. Now they say another 2 weeks!
Great customer service and outstanding quality windows with a big selection of styles to choose from .
Wont even come look at the problem.
Very nice except c.h. Robinson had the delivery picked up the day before
I love this company too drive for.grest pay
Cascade Windows purchased EPI company when they went out of business. They were handling all of the claims and warranties. for several years you could not contact Cascade Windows and get a reply. By the time you could they fought the claims for a warranty on the windows. If they handle their own warranties the way they have handled the ones they assumed from EPI then you would have no warranty at all.
Never thought to buy windows was that easy and very affordable. Am really happy with the quality of the material. Thanks cascade windows.
We submitted a claim for a panel in a sliding glass door. The doors have a grid style which is directional and one panel was backwards.Within a few days I was contacted by a glass company that had been given the service call from Cascade. The company went out that day and they were able to fix the panel on that same trip.We are appreciative the quick response and glad it was an easy fix.
So, once again I have submitted another warranty request for the same window from last summers request. At that time your service manager (Scott Duke) informed me that even though I live in a house where I am the original owner, your company would no longer replace the windows which are failing all over our house. Your companies new policy, per last years request, was that a you will order the replacement window, but you will not install the glass. Over the years, as windows were failing you would perform the entire operation of replacement, but now that answer is no! The reference number is #2010788 and you can trace this back to Feburary 2016. I dont understand why your company will not honor what it has sworn to uphold. Additionally, I have spoken with other neighbors in our development that have simply given up trying to work with your firm due to a complete indifference in taking care of an ongoing problem. I am not willing to walk away. Please help us, this is my last effort in attempting to work with your firm as well. Whatever results from this post is sqarely on you going forward. Respectfully, Kendall
If you are buying a home and it has Cascade Windows, know that the windows will likely fail and will not have any warranty remaining to cover any issues. So get a price deduct from the seller as youll need it for future expenses. Or if youre selling a house and it has Cascade Windows, know that youll have to deal with lack of warranty and a likely product failure for the buyer when you decide to sell. Cascade wont stand behind its products, trust me. While they market their product as life-time windows, they will hide behind fine prints of confusing warranty periods. We purchased a 5 yr new high-end finished home and never thought we would face issues with windows. When I called their customer service, the agent first said we would be covered as a subsequent buyer up to 10 yrs. Over a month later, they never responded back so I called again. Now they are saying the yr our windows were made is under an older warranty that covers only 5 yrs so we are now without any luck. If Cascades own customer service rep is getting confused with their warranty language, how are we as consumers suppose to trust and know the warranty? Go with Milgard. Their warranty will actually mean something.
Cascade windows were installed in our new home by the builder in 2012. Since then, four of the windows have lost the gas in between the panes resulting in the windows foggy up and discoloring. Conveniently, the warranty does not cover gas releases from double pane windows. Apparently the manufacturer does not see that as poor workmanship. Along with the gas release in some windows, the inside pane of our sliding glass door shattered in the middle of the night for no know reason. Buyer beware...
Had the interior pane of a double pane window shatter spontaneously. Was told by the warranty department that the warranty doesnt cover defects in glass that causes it to break! Ha! What an outfit!
They honor the warranty claims made against EPI windows, who they merged with some time ago. However, they previously included labor too, but now just the parts.
Having a hard time with this company. Started the process three months ago with getting windows replaced. Glass was supposed to be done three weeks ago ago. Keep getting the run around. Nobody ever gets back to you. Im emailing, my husband is calling and we both get told they will find out but nobody ever does. Finally one person says our glass was delivered to the installer three weeks ago but yet only one window was and they dont seem to know where all the others are. Then the person talking with my husband says hes leaving on vacation so we are left with no windows or answers.
DO NOT USE THESE WINDOWS EVER!!! 7 FAILED WINDOWS IN 6 MONTHS!!! I’m a contractor who has worked with multiple window manufacturers and these guys a not good. These windows failed within 6 months and they would not not cover any of the damage caused from there manufacturing errors. The siding, the window trim, the disposal, the labor, the interior trim, the painters, etc are all on you when they fail. Read the other reviews, they are not exaggerating.
Another customer that is the original owner and have had friends had their windows replaced labor and material. We have 7 failing windows and are now told that even if they have supplied labor in the past that they will no longer warrant them. The warranty says repair or replace, for the life of the window, replacing a window means a new one in its place, I dont have the means to install it.
Windows look good, but pull latches dont close securely and window doesnt close or seal properly. Can see daylight at seal when closed. Warranty people gave us no help and refused to repair. Very disappointing. I have to buy 1/4 wider sashes to fix the problem, or remove and replace entire windows.Buy better brand!
One of our lifetime warranty windows have lost their seal. Since our windows were LBL and Cascade merged with them, they are no longer honoring the lifetime warranty. They said this voided the lifetime warranty. I just need the glass to be replaced and after speaking with multiple people they said they dont do that. They only do warranties and that my was void. This is BAD BUSINESS if you ask me! Not even sure its legal...
Absolutely would not do business with this company; the warranty means nothing. At a minimum, eliminate the warranty from your consideration.
I have ordered two custom windows on separate occasions and have been very satisfied with the products and the cordial reception from all the employees on site that I came into contact with.It must be a good place to work people seemed relaxed and friendly. I picked up the windows at the factory.
The employees busy their butts working there with little to no appreciation, low wages, and in unsafe conditions. Trip hazards everywhere, none of the fire extinguishers are checked or tested. No one in the plant is properly trained yet thats how you get a raise? Another scam to keep from giving adequate pay to employees. The products suck go buy from milgard or any other competitor your warranty and service contracts will be much better.100%employee and management turnover that alone speaks of the quality and quantity of work and product from this company. I quit due to the lies and instability.
Windows are poorly manufactured and they do not fallow through on warranties. Not worth the savings. Multiple windows failing in under a year and left with huge repair bill.
This is a Cascade window that looked like this on installation 14 months ago. The company does not respond to requests to replace it. They do not stand behind their product.I have emails from Rick Wahl dated Sept 22, Oct 20, Oct 27, Dec 13, March 14, Aug10 and from Scott Duke Mar22, Apr24, June 14, Aug 9, Agut13 about trying to get this window replaced. Rick Wahl no longer responds to my emails. I was never given an order number. Newport glass brought out a replacement in August that was the wrong size since no one bothered to measure the defective window. So after a full year the wrong size window showed up which was not installed and now it has been another 2 months.
Looking at this company and its reviews you can see that the owner is replying the same exact thing to everyone that its not there problem or that the warranty does not cover it as you can see in the photo the water is dripping from the window joint its because the window was not glued properly the longer it keeps dripping the more problems its creating sooner or later this company is going to have to pay for the damages
Installation of windows had defects, and windows left marks on the windows when opening. Defect found on installation of very large window. Cascade had to order another one, came out to replace with new one, and that one was defective. Had to put the old defective window back in. Lost lots of money taking my time to stay home for this visit. It would be nice that Cascade inspected their windows before they come back out to replace, once again a new one.Takes forever to get the problem resolved.
Horrible customer service. They were supposed to come repair a window on our new house, but closed our file because they “made 4 attempts” to contact us. Their idea of contact is “knock on the door during the weekday when both customers are at work”. I emailed them to reschedule/remedy the situation (they had a phone number on file with a typo in it [obviously not our fault], and could have just as easily called the realtor OR EMAILED) and was met with a rude response and what more or less was a “pound sand” attitude. This company doesn’t deserve your business - there are many other local window places that will treat you the way a customer is supposed to be treated.
I work here, this place has fantastic quality Windows.
Dan Haynes worked with me until the last detail was ironed out. Windows installed great and were a great buy.
I have made 3 online request for warranty service and have received no follow up from anyone with cascade windows. When I called their office I was told to go online and request service.I was not able to talk directly to a individual.Yes i received two responses but have not heard from anyone
Two of our lifetime warranty windows have lost their seal. Now were told that the warranty covers the glass only, not measuring and not installation. What a ripoff.
This place is horrible to employee dont work here!
Still waiting on warranty replacement.
I agreed with you alex they cant even reply to people normally.
Didnt have what we needed.
