Its rare you meet someone that truly prides themselves on their integrity, knowledge, and honesty over sales. We called J&F (Dan) to look at trees at our house in Hillsboro that we thought might need to be removed or at least trimmed (thinking they might be a danger to our neighbors), but Dan looked them over thoroughly and told us the truth - that the trees were beautiful, and unlikely to be a danger to anyone for the life of the trees, and that hed be happy to help us, but only if we want them gone or touched for some other reason (like wanting less shade) but that really, were already good to go!He came the same day I called, precisely on time, and left without even trying to sell us a service of any kind. Happy, kind, and professional - and not at all bothered that he drove all the way out here without any hope of a sale... He just took care of us like a good neighbor telling it like it is.To be clear - It was obvious that Dan KNOWS his craft, knows his trees, and how to care for them and manage them depending on any situation. But when his job isnt needed, hes not afraid to pass on business and take care of you. Thats rare these days, and I can tell if I ever need help with these trees, or any others in the future, hes the one I want to call.Thank you Dan and J&F Tree Service!

I recalled Amanda at J & F Tree Services to reschedule an appointment that went astray. The workers showed up right at 0700 yesteray, the 20th of July 2020. I had my appt date incorrect which was my fault. I reconfirmed with the crew what I wanted done and we were all on the same page. Work went very fast and smooth. One of my neighbors was happy the front tree was being trimmed as branches hang over her driveway, which cannot be helped, and they grow close to roof very fast. Branched were trimmed without causing any damage to the tree. The other tree which was along the rear side of my home had branches right aside my chimney which was dangerous. Workers also trimmed the branches back to my property line now making my home even safer during storms. One of those working on the roof even trimmed an over hanging branch for my neighbor which he did not have to do.Both of my neighbors have expressed interest in eventually hiring J & F to trim their trees in the near future.The crew was done within 2 1/2 hours which surprised me as I thought it would take at least 3 hours minimum. The price for the complete job was very good. I plan to have them back out in 2-3 years to trim my tree again.5 stars!!Thanks for the great work. They deserve !!
