I’ve been there two different times when the Google page and their store hours on the building say that they’re open, but their doors were locked. The provided phone number didn’t work either when I called to verify what their hours are. I’m sure that it’s a good thrift store, but I only have so much time and gas money to keep trying to go here when there’s alternative thrift shops nearby that I know for sure will be open.

We donated just like new mattress and box springs to this place. They really do a nice job of helping out families that need a helping hand. The staff were great and they have a little store as well which produces cash to assist families. I didn’t think anyone took mattresses anymore and was elated to find this place because it seemed such a waste. Keep up the good work community warehouse!

If difficulty in donating quality used furniture to a non profit is your intent, you have come to the right place. I recently had good friends pass away. It was their wish to have the remaining household furnishings donated to the Community Warehouse. After several e-mail attempts to coordinate the pick-up of these items I was informed they do not pick up items at a distance greater than 10 miles. The Warehouse referred two different moving companies, each with quotes of $750 or higher. Paying to donate needed items seems wrong. I rented a moving truck and recruited friends to help pack up. The following morning I drove to the Tualatin location and delivered the items. I was hoping for help but ended up with 10 minutes of assistance from one employee who then was gone. I unloaded the items by myself. Then I was told, no wooden headboards or footboards are allowed. So, back in the truck went the queen size sleigh bed and rails. The staff was not very helpful and even dated the receipt wrong. If I had not promised my friends I would make sure their final wishes were followed, I would have given up on the Community Warehouse after the e-mails. If you want to pay additional monies for donating your items, the Community Warehouse is the place for you.

Awesome experience. Got a few things for my new place, including brand new memory foam mattress. There were several things that I really needed which they did not have and I was bummed about that, but it doesnt warrant knocking off any stars... They depend on donations, and there are times when they may not have certain items. The people who work here are amazing. The guys here loaded everything into my Uhaul for me which I appreciated more than words. This is just an amazing program that is so helpful to people in need. I am very thankful they exist and very appreciative of all the people and businesses who donate!

First of all, Id like to point out that Community Warehouse is a non-profit nonprofit furniture bank, redistributing donated furnishings and household items to households in need through community partnerships. The estate stores- there are two of them- carry vintage, antique and interesting furniture, art and household items and the sales from these go to fund costs of running the non-profit side of business like rent, utilities and salaries. However, volunteers are the majority of workers who keep the stores and distribution sides operating. Both stores have their own vibe-this store feels more contemporary and the furniture and art do as well. Great prices, clean air and furniture and wonderful staff make this store a delight to visit.

Over the years, we have donated quite a number of household items from furniture to dinnerware and appliances. Each time we have been greeted by friendly, helpful staff who are happy to accept our donations. This is such a worthy organization that provides such a necessary service. We feel so much better knowing our donations will go to people who need them. Dont forget about the Estate Sale where proceeds go to keep Community Warehouse going as well as the great volunteers!!

Second-hand and antique shopping with a social conscience! Due to ongoing donations, the inventory is constantly changing - worthy of checking regularly. Supporting families in need is a good reason to shop here - and donate!

We were able to donate a gently used mattress (Goodwill won’t accept them) and the woman running the donations was so gracious and so grateful, it made me realize donating feels better when the place really needs the items. They are really nice and I will donate my items to them in the future!

Went to pick out furniture through homeless veterans program. New furniture was donated and I chose it. It wasnt delivered--the movers said that the guy who had helped me said the couch I had picked wasnt mine and that they shouldnt take it even though a lady there said they should...he wouldnt allow it. I called and spoke to the guy whod helped me (little Hispanic guy covered in prison tatoos) and he became angry with me and said he would set it aside for a future delivery. When the movers next came he said there was no couch. So apparently this group is in the business of ripping off the federal government and homeless vets trying to get back on their feet. Those guys you see on Offer Up and Craigs List always selling new furniture out of their garages and you wonder how and where they get it...yeah, your donations at work.
