I cant say enough good things about Mario Ramirez and his team! We had a huge water leak on a Friday afternoon and at 6:30 PM Mario and his team arrived to start the water damage cleanup - after a full day of work at several other jobs and a long drive to get to my location! They all worked very hard until 10:30 PM, and they couldnt have been more courteous, careful of my furnishings and belongings, and professional. They answered every question I had and did everything they could to ensure we were all set over the weekend while the fans and evaporators would be working while we were still living in the house, trying to use everything in the kitchen (the room that took the most damage). Mario worked tirelessly to get things plugged in in a way where we wouldnt be constantly tripping breakers as we turned things on and off, and it worked! We had a calm weekend and were able to make it through several days of fans, heat and evaporators without trouble. The team had several hours to drive after they left, and didnt make it home until the early morning hours. I never heard a complaint from anyone. On Monday Mario arrived back to assess what was potentially still wet and what was dry, and once again he went the extra mile to answer my every question and educate me with all his extensive knowledge on what happens when your house floods. I feel that I couldnt have been in better, or more knowlegeable hands. Its obvious that Mario cares about his customers and will do everything to see that they and their home gets his utmost care. Mario Ramirez and his partner removed all water and mold damaged floors and paneling, as well as took out and disposed of old tub and shower stall. They set up drying equipment and checked on it regularly. They were courteous, respectful of our property, professional, and fully explained what they were doing and why. Mario went above and beyond to identify current and potential problems and ensured we were satisfied with all aspects of the job. We were very happy working with them.

We had two air conditioning units freeze, melt and then flood the area in the house that distributed the cold air. Stop Restoration knew exactly what to do and explained everything along the way - both in the inspection process but also the remediation process. On time. Thoughtful. Mario came out to do the work and I couldnt have been more pleased! He took care to lay down carpet guards, cleaned up one area totally before starting on another and was very clear on what he was doing. Came by often to check on progress of fans and always called first to see if still okay to come. I felt he cared about his work and respected my home.
We filed our claim with our insurance company at 8AM. Service Team of Professionals was there at 10AM same day!!! Completed a super thorough assessment. Set up drying equipment to dry out floors, cabinet space and walls from water damage and did it quickly, professionally, and friendly. Id never seen a repair crew have so much respect and work well together. From the head supervisor, management to crew, everyone communicated with my husband and I. Highly recommend!!!! We had a water leak, which went into the floor, walls, and crawlspace. Our insurance company put us in contact with STOP.Each of the employees that came to our home was polite and professional.Mitchell and Todd were the first to show up for the initial inspection and mitigation. First step was to get the drying process started with air movers and an industrial dehumidifier. Mitchell was very good about describing the process to us, so that we knew what to expect. These guys made a great first impression, being the first point of contact for the company.Ryan and Jake E. came to inspect the progress of the drying, and thoroughly described the next steps. As a homeowner, this is a confusing/stressful time not knowing what to expect, but Jake was able to describe the situation well. And deal with the insurance company, giving our agent the project updates. Before removing material inside the living space, they completely sealed off the work area to prevent dust and debris from migrating throughout the rest of the house, and were very considerate and careful about moving items. Like Mitchell and Todd, they were very willing to answer questions and concerns.Bo and Luis did the restoration on the walls and ducting. The walls, including the paint color, match perfectly. This is essentially the finished product, and they are very good at it, returning the home back to normal. They communicated the process very well, including what was done, and what was next. And did not cut corners.Mitchell, Todd, Ryan, Jake E., Bo, and Luis, all deserve recognition for their professionalism, attention to detail, and meeting customer expectations. We had an amazing experience with S.T.O.P. and particularly with Mario Ramirez. We used them because they work directly with our insurance company, but we are so glad they do. Mario was kind, patient and extremely communicative throughout the process of cleaning up from a pretty bad dishwasher leak. Not only was the work done expediently and professionally but Mario took so much extra time to explain to us the steps they were taking and how long each part of the process would be. He always communicated when he would be at the house and was always prompt and prepared. There were a number of small hiccups that required some additional asbestos testing and Mario worked to get the testing company out to us as fast as possible. We barely noticed any delays. When their work was finished they cleaned up and cleared out with very little sign they had been there at all. We would happily work with the team again and would request Mario if it were at all possible.

Our service professional was Mario and he was wonderful. Mario was thorough, took the time to explain what he was doing and showed us how he was assessing the damage as he proceeded in checking how far the damage went. After assessing the extent of the damage he set up fans and dehumidifiers in the area and sealed off the room so as to reduce the amount of dust that would get into the rest of our home. It took two days to get dry and upon removal of all the equipment Mario was meticulous about clean-up in the area. Based on our experience with Mario and the level of training he had, I would absolutely recommend this company.
I only gave them one star because I didn’t have the option to give them zero stars. This is the most unprofessional company I have EVER come across. The people who came out to clean up the water damage were great so I decided to go with their restoration service also.They did the crappiest job that you could ever imagine! They charged for services that were never rendered and most of their staff is rude and deceptive except for one young man named Alex. It took 5 months for them to get started on the restoration process! . I am having to file a complaint with the CCB because they refuse to acknowledge the fact that they did substandard work in my home and they refuse to come and fix it! Having your house flood is a terrible experience, but it’s no where near as bad as the nightmare me and my family are going through trying to resolve the issues that these non communicating, nonprofessionals created.Ultimately I will have to have the entire job redone by another company. I would not recommend this company to ANYONE. Not even my worst enemy. They should call themselves the service team of NONprofessionals! Beware! EDIT….. in the end manager Rylan Phillips came to my home and made efforts to correct the shabby work performed by a subcontractor that they obtained through Angies list. I was not aware that they were not going to be the ones bringing the job to completion. As I am still unhappy with the install and was not able to go through a total carpet replacement due to my fathers health issues he did refund me a portion of the money. I am not 100% happy but in the end they used some customer service skills and at least attempted to correct the situation. My advice to ANYONE who chooses to use this company would be to find out what company will actually be performing the services and research their rating with the BBB.

Mitchell, a lead tech, just stopped by to check our home since we had a tree crash through a skylight during a rainstorm. He was professional and very polite. Luckily we didnt have water damage, and he was honest about it rather than try to sell us on services we didnt need so I very much appreciate it!
I was very happy with the end result we got from our team of professionals. Our toilet had overflown and ruined the entire hard wood floor and the ceiling below in our basement apartment. They made the this awful experience so great. They handled everything professionally and made us feel well taken care of. You can’t even tell that we had water damage it’s incredible. The ceilings look brand new and our floor is to die for! They were able to sand it down and save the real wood floors we had and I got to upgrade our color during the process so it’s 100 times better than it ever was before. I am proud to show it off. They really did work with us even during such uncertain times. We were in the middle of the project and had to bring everything to a halt due to covid. During quarantine they checked up on us and were patient as we weren’t ready to have people in our house. Finally we established a plan to have them finish the project while we stayed at another house. I appreciated the hard work and care this team had for us!
We had a sewage issue and these guys were on top of it. From cleaning up the yuck, to sanitizing and repairing everything, they were awesome. They were professional, on time and they cleaned up after themselves! We appreciated how quickly and efficiently they worked, and felt they went above and beyond with their basic customer service! Recently had garage frame replaced by STOP. Through years of home ownership in Portland area, STOP by far is the most responsive group of home renovation team I have ever worked with. They reply to my requests and questions within hours, sometimes minutes. The team came on time, courteous, efficient and very good result. Also the whole quote, signing and closure process were hassle free. Very pleased with the work and highly recommend.

I was very pleased with the Service Team of Professionals Oregon helping me to dry out ceiling and floors from a recent flooding caused by my water heaters expansion tanks leak. I had a few different team members checking on the drying process daily and adjusting equipment when needed. Everyone was very courteous, polite, respectful of me, my time, and my home. First day, Kyle and Ryan identified the damaged spots, set up the initial equipment, and checked on the progress the following day. Next day, Mitchell checked on the project and made his best effort to protect my home from any dust that was created by his work. He constructed floor-to-ceiling plastic walls around the space where he needed to open up the ceiling. After he finished working with the ceiling, he took down the plastic walls and thoroughly cleaned up the rug and the carpet around the space where he did the work. Every team member was wearing face masks when entering the house. I could tell that everyone was trying to do their best working with a sense of urgency, while being respectful, polite, courteous, and professional.
The Demolition Crew Kyle and Ryan were very good at their job! Very cautious, worked hard, and went out of their way to go above and beyond what they needed to do, to make me feel comfortable while demoing our flooded kitchen! Their bosses should be very proud of how these young professionals represent their company for them.

We are putting our home on the market and decided to refinish our shower with a different company. After the shower was refinished, there was a leak in it upstairs and water went into the floor/ ceiling downstairs. Service Team of Professionals was called out to help. They were at our home the next day (Tuesday) and by Friday afternoon the moisture was 100% dry, the ceiling was repaired, and they painted for us. Thanks to the very quick response and turnaround, we are still on track to list our home on time. We are very happy with their work and their team was very helpful and friendly.

Working with Jake and Patrick of Service Team of Professionals (STOP) was a good experience. We needed someone to determine what was causing a leak in our dining room and the fix. Patrick sent his crew out and quickly found the potential problem. Patrick then found a roofing company to fix where the water had been coming in. STOP workers repaired the inside ceiling with new sheet rock and did an excellent job of skim coating the ceiling to match existing surface.I would not hesitate to contact STOP in the future for services they provide.
Mario and Kyle did the work on our crawl space. They were very good at what they do. They took care of the mold and sprayed the frame work and applied the covering very quickly. Im very impressed with the work that Service Team provided for my Husband and I after a rather nasty bathroom leak. Pretty much the entire bathroom had to be dismantled which they did in a pretty short amount of time. As the repairs were being done we decided to add a couple of things which they did with no problem. The crew was extremely nice and was very mindful of keeping the flooring covered outside the work area to alleviate any unnecessary tracking.I felt very comfortable speaking with both Jake and Kevin and felt they were more than willing to make sure I was completely satisfied.I would not hesitate to have them back to do any further work we might need. We had an unfortunate water incident at our residence a few months ago. As Murphys Law would have it, our kitchen and dining area flooded while we were away on vacation.We used Service Team of Professionals (STOP) at the recommendation of our insurance adjuster. They handled both the mitigation and restoration jobs for us, which comprised two distinct teams.The mitigation team was in charge of cleaning the area, ripping up the floors, drying the subfloors, removing insulation, etc. They came out promptly each day to do moisture readings and worked quickly each time.STOP also handled the restoration, which included coordinating with various subcontractors for cabinetry and flooring work. We were assigned a project manager, Kevin B, who was really helpful throughout the entire process, and always stayed in constant communication.There was an issue with one of the subcontractors, who didnt measure out the work area accurately, and we ended up with a shortage of materials, which caused a slight delay. Kevin jumped on that immediately and got everything expedited to get us back on track as best as possible to our schedule.All in all, the team that we worked with over at STOP was a great partner in getting our home back to whole. They communicated well and made sure that they, or whoever they subbed out, did good work. And they managed to get the job done relatively quickly, all things considered, and they did it over the holiday season during an otherwise hectic time.
Hi my name is IanI just wanted to share my experience with Service Team of Professionals. I work for a big outfit and we had a pipe burst in the basement and had 2 ft of water. I called STOP right away and they were there very quickly. They came up with a game plan and quickly got to work right away. I was surprised how efficient they were due to the extent of the damages. They cleaned up everything and made a whole list of the things that had to be trashed. I would recommend STOP without hesitation. A special thanks to Jake who just had a baby, to Tyler, Elijah, Mitchell, Aidan, Dustin, Daniel, Jan and Jadie and Jake E who were very professional, courteous and really efficient. STOP Thats my advice. Stop and look for an alternate restoration company. The business name Service Team of Professionals is ironic because our experience with them has been anything but professional. Eventually, the work did get completed, so its fair to offer 2 stars out of 5. Problem areas are plentiful. Organization - I dealt with no less than 5 different point people. Communication - The Project Manager managed very little. We had to reach out multiple times to him to drive the project forward. He was disengaged, disorganized and disinterested. When I confronted him over the phone, he used it as an occasion to complain about how busy he was... Unprofessional. Time Management - We had to drive the project forward. I had to drive all around town to look at flooring samples and deal with vendors and installers myself because the PM did nothing. Yes, you read that right, I myself was the project manager.I finally complained to the main office and the magically, the PM showed up the next day. The trouble is, he did not contact us to arrange coming by, he just showed up at an inconvenient time for my wife. She had to adjust. He then lied to her saying that he had arranged the time with me.NOPE! He did not. Contrast this to our experience years earlier with a competitor when we had a different mini-disaster - One point of contact, open communication, multiple calls and emails per week. I reached out to this same competitor first, but they were unavailable. To sum up: Unprofessional, disorganized, disengaged, poor communication, poor service, but eventually get the job done. I called the STOP office last week to give the GM the opportunity to speak with me. I was told that he was unavailable. A poor review is my only remaining avenue.

They covered all of the floors that they were using with paper and tape, and maintained this throughout the duration of the job. They called both my wife and I every time to let us know that they would be coming. Service Team of Professionals (STP) just completed the repair of my new-less than 5 months old kitchen after a valve leak under our sink. We did not discover the leak for 3 days because the stream of water went behind and under the cabinet into the plywood and tile under-layment. I hired STP to determine the damage and dry the floor. STP removed the affected flooring and dried the subfloor. Everyone including Jake E. (project Manager on this part of the project) was professional. Jake E. also recommended a great plumber to fix my plumbing.I choose the Service Team of Professionals to complete the repair (replacement of the plywood, tile under-layment, tile, and kick plate). The whole team was fantastic! Jake W. was my repairs coordinator which included working with my Insurance company. He was responsive, knowledgeable, and supportive. Patrick was the project manager and made sure that staff and materials were available in a timely manner. Brian and Garrison completed the repairs. They had to match and level the tile to the tile in the nook and the wood flooring in the hall. They also matched the grout. Our new kick plate and trim look great and were stained to match the kitchen cabinets.We are extremely happy with the repair results. The company has set up efficiencies to make projects go smoothly, and talented professional staff who not only did a great job but were personable, protective of our property, and the safety of my family during the Covid-19 pandemic. I highly recommend Service Team of Professionals.
When my neighbors had a small fire, my upstairs unit was covered in extinguisher dust. And I mean covered - every aspect of my apartment had an odd dusty yellow film on it. Communication is nonexistent, so dont expect to know anything about the plan until the night before and you never even know what time they will show up. They make their problems your problem. The case manager, Greg, is disrespectful and probably should not be a case manager anymore. Every contractor they hired had something to say about how their customers complained and were surprised that it has taken over a month and a half to get this job done. So, if we could give 0 stars, its safe to say we would have. Not to mention their own workers, not a contractor, left and said they were done for the day around 2:30. Then realized they forgot a radio, so nothing important, and came back and walked in without knocking and just yelled that they forgot it. No regard for the home owners whatsoever.
These guys are awesome!!!! Our neighbors first hired them to repair some existing water damage that had occurred at their home. Our neighbors gave them rave reviews. Before we had this info from our neighbor, we had consulted three different restoration companies and most of them blew us off stating they were just too busy.Corey from Service Team called right away and came they came out the next day. He scheduled his guys quickly and our job was done at a good pace. We will be using this company again if the need arises.
Experience was great! Travis explained every detail of what needed to be done and was very patient. He was always in time and would not leave without ensuring our questions had been answered. I would definitely recommend this company for mitigation work.

I filed my first claim in over 20 years. I chose STOP Restoration to do my mitigation and repairs. It started out very smooth until one of the managers left. The first manager knew her stuff and really made me feel at ease. I was told the person who started my mitigation no longer worked there and they would send out a new person. This new person took several days to reach out to my wife. They sent out an HVAC person who had no idea why he was even there. My wife had to tell him what to do. He came unprepared and left my house to go back into town to get more supplies to actually do the detach of my HVAC. The mitigation took more than a month. I had damaged contents that they were supposed to inventory and send to my insurance company. It was weeks after that my wife had to call and ask when someone was going to come back out and take care of my now moldy contents. It has been several months and I just recieved a bill in the mail from STOP for a thousand dollar more than the estimate they sent my insurance company. Using STOP was supposed to be a stress-less process. Using STOP was more stressful than the claim itself. I have called the office so many times asking to speak the the mitigation manager or someone who can give me answers. I am still waiting for someone to give me a call back with answers with where my contents are (childhood Christmas decorations, heirlooms, and ornaments) and when my HVAC will be put back. The company is still denying that they removed my contents, while all of the original material and other possessions are still sitting in the location that they placed them. Perhaps the next steps will be to call the local police and file a stolen property report.

STOP did a very good job here at my property. There were a couple of hiccups, but overall they did a great job.
Impossible to get them to repair their mistakes. We hired them to restore water damage in our kitchen caused by a burst pipe. It was a sizable project and did a great job despite taking a bit longer than planned.Part of this work required new flooring. We selected a porcelain tile and grout color. Within 10 months the grout had chips everywhere and was in some places entirely missing between the tiles. I got in touch to have them repair the grout as it was still under their warranty. That was mid August, it is now almost December and they still have not completed the work. It took them a little over a month to do the original project, and we are now at over 3 months and counting to replace the grout.This has been like pulling teeth and has involved no shows for times we scheduled, not responding to multiple emails, taking weeks to respond, doing way more than a customer should have to do, calling us the morning of to see if they could do the work despite never scheduling it, having to come out twice to see the issue, and swapping project managers without any communication. The project manager said they normally dont do warranty work. I understand that this is a non-paid repair so the incentive for them isnt quite there, but they still should treat us with respect and professionalism.My partner tried to contact the project managers (PM) supervisor to express our experience, to which that person never got back to us, instead we got a call from the PM. So that is also bothersome, that in wanting to express our experience, we are instead met with a slightly more concerned and somewhat confrontational PM.They finally replaced the grout 3 weeks ago. The worker was very knowledgeable and found that whoever did it originally put too much water in the mix and didnt seal it after it dried. Mentioned that for some reason they appeared to add the sealer to the grout itself, which defeats the purpose. This worker mentioned someone would be out in a few days to seal it. That was three weeks ago, I still have not received a response from the project manager Rylan. Now the grout has gotten dirty and will need to be cleaned before sealing.Will be filing a complaint with BBB.They have already lost new business as a co-worker of mine asked if I would recommend they use them, to which I told them about this experience. We also wont be using them in the future.

Our company uses STOP Restoration for any needs we have regarding damage cause by water, biohazard, etc. We have used them several times now and they are professional, prompt and Pam always follows through. Would use them again in a heartbeat.
