Good old fashioned barber shop with a sit a wait your turn check in policy. I love that! No fancy app required to get a great cut for a great price. Plus, the attention to detail is stellar.I’ll be back every 2-3 weeks for sure.

Kirk is awesome! Always great conversation. I swear, this guy has done it all! The haircuts are awesome too... Been many places over the years, no one has cut my hair as good as Kirk, not even close. And the best part? Been going for years now and havent had to tell him what I want in a few years...he just knows! Consistency is key for me. Plus the experience is pretty cool. Authentic. If youre lucky, you may even get to try some killer bourbon. The only thing missing, I wish he offered some beard services. Hell trim it nicely all around, but I want some beard love.

A great barbershop for outstanding male haircuts. Have been going to Kirk for over a year now and have yet to have anything but a superb haircut and experience. Well worth any wait you may encounter. I was visiting from LA. Found Kirks shop online.Dropped by had a seat and Kirk took care of making me feel at home. My family was with me and we all had a great conversation. This is an old school barber shop for those who dont want anything fancy, just a nice, clean, well groomed hair cut. He is the man You do not find these barbers anymore so I strongly recommend Kirk.One more thing, he did not even want to charge me the the haircut. I paid him even though.John

The man is no holds barred. Straight shooting. Tells it as it is. If you have issues with a person who is crass, then this is not the barber for you. However, if you are not easily offended, take a seat and strap in for a wild ride. The man is an artist with his scissors.

This is by far the best haircut in town. It is also a great place to hang out. I drive 45min to get my hair cut by Kirk, and it is worth the commute and every time spent waiting. Not only a great haircut, but great conversation. This is a safe space for REAL men.

The Captain is simply the best! Ive been going to the captain for about a year now and will go nowhere else. Above and beyond the usual shops; haircut, neck shave, hot towel, beard trim, and he has even trimmed my bushy eyebrows! All for a great price and great talk! 10/10!

Kirk is awesome!!! Usually I go to whatever chop shop I can find on my way to or from work. Since Captains came to my little strip mall I cant believe what I have been missing! Straight razor shave, beard and eyebrow trim, ear trim (who knew you needed this) not to mention, one of the most on point haircuts I have ever had. All of this for about the same as I was paying elsewhere. Once you try this, you will literally never go anywhere else. Fact!

Kirk is a great guy and nails his cuts every time! I come in each month with another pain in the butt type of fade I want, and each time I get just what I ask for without any hesitation. He knows what he is doing no matter what you ask for, and always manages to make it turn out better than expected. If you are around the area, stop in and get trimmed up, you definitely wont regret it!

If your a guy and need a cut this is the place to go. I stopped in by chance got a great haircut with great service. Kirk knows his stuff and you feel part of the family after one visit. Although it is 20 minutes from my house and there are plenty of place closer I will drive the extra time for a real guys place!

Very straight edge kinda guy. Definitely haves the gentleman feel to it with a old style feng shui to it. Great place, great environment, laid back, and cuts hair like Edward scissor hands sculpting bushes. But for real, this guy is awesome.

I called to see if there were any openings and the owner does not only not take appointments but he said he’s not taking on any new customers. Very rude guy. If you go there you’ll be turned down. I do not recommend this place. Kirk is a jerk.

I went to this place as a new customer and the guy very rudely told me that they do not accept anyone that isnt scheduled even though he was there alone lounging around in his chair doing absolutely nothing. The guy was very impolite and clearly didnt have any initiative to expand his business any further. Talk about lack of ambition. I will never go back to this place.

Messed up my hair pretty badly thinking I could give myself a fade, so I went on Google to try and find a barbershop.Saw Captains, so I went there.Wasnt expecting the one person barbershop, the ye olde cash register or chair. I wasnt expecting to get the best haircut I think Ive ever had. And, I also wasnt expecting him to be nice enough to give it to me for free because of the pretense in which I went there. Definitely going back again, and leaving the haircuts to the professional.

If you actually want a hair cut with no BS from a guy who knows what hes doing, this is the place to go. One guy, one chair, fast, accurate, honest.
