Jennifer has been working with us for the past 30 days, via email. We were enthused to work with a local service, that was referred. We put a lot of time and energy in to assuring she had everything she needed, and trusted. We lived in both CA and NV, and shared this prior. She asked to increase the rate given multiple states and we agreed. Today we received email from Jennifer, stating she would not work with us, given mixed information about where we resided last year, and that she was not comfortable signing off on our taxes.We never had a phone call or email from Jennifer asking if we could clarify or help clear up any confusion, instead we received an unprofessional email. I suggested we hop on the phone to discuss, still willing to work it out, considering the time invested, she called and said I dont want to work with you. We have been kind, responsive, and considerate of her time, and did all our best to provide accurate information.I felt it necessary to write a review, to avoid anyone else going through this mid-tax season.

I was looking for a new tax preparer in the area, and Jennifer was very accessible by telephone (no phone tag or voicemails needed) and after a brief interview was willing to take me on as a client. At every step of the process, she was prompt, professional and courteous and always reachable by phone or email. I have a somewhat complicated tax situation and she was easily able to deal with it by requesting the correct info from me and computing accordingly. Once completed, she e-filed for me and got my refunds set up for direct deposit.I highly recommend Jennifer! She is a local business woman who can provide all the same services as the big TV advertised tax firms, but with much more personal attention to your case.

Jennifer is awesome. I had made a mistake on my 2012 taxes (due to turbotax not importing a form correctly due to a bug in their software) and received a threatening letter from the IRS saying I owed thousands (asking me to send payment ASAP). The amount was large and didnt seem right, I panicked and knew I needed help, and she came to the rescue - filing an amended (correct) return, getting rid of most penalties, and correctly identifying the extra amount I owed (which was 10% of what the IRS letter had said due to an incorrect calculation on their part).From that point on, now for the past 4 years, Ive been a super happy customer! She is very professional and personable, replies to emails at all times, and gets everything done in a timely manner - what more can you ask for, go to her already! She saves hours if not days of your time, but even more importantly, shes much more likely to file your taxes correctly than you are (and in case of a mistake you can be sure shell handle it better than you would). If youre one of those people who is unsure youre doing things correctly (like I was), its definitely money well spent and I wish I found her earlier!
