We hired Holly and Nathan for photography and Sylvester as our videographer for our wedding on 8.29.21 and we are absolutely thrilled with the results! They were all so great and despite us being very behind our planned schedule and rushing from our photo spots to make it to the ceremony on time, the photos and videos did not look rushed. They all turned out so beautiful and looked so organized. Holly was a great director to get our large group of people coordinated and moving since we were in a time crunch. She was exactly what we needed that day. We had a blast with them and we couldnt be happier with our photos and our videos. Watching the mini movie and documentary made me cry and relive those moments all over again which is definitely the point in having these services at your wedding. We are so happy with how affordable it was too. We ended up doing the package that includes a DJ, 1 photographer, and 1 videographer but since we had already hired our DJ, we were able to instead have an extra photographer and we were thrilled to have that package. We had our wedding last night with DJ Ron, and I could not wait to leave him the best review. He was AMAZING. He went above and beyond our expectations. Our wedding started at 5 and by 7 we had so many guests come up to us complimenting him. He communicated so well throughout the night and kept us on track with our reception. We cannot say enough positive things about our experience with Mike Staff Productions and DJ Mike. After being blown away by his skills at our friends wedding back in 2018, we knew we had to have him for our wedding July 2021. He did not disappoint. It was so perfect to have a call with him the Monday before the wedding and go over every detail, expectation, and song list we wanted, etc. Unfortunately, our venue had to change a few music items last minute, and Mike and the team quickly stepped up, changed things around for us, and made our night absolutely incredible! Mike staff productions was by far amazing from the start of the process. They were very responsive to my questions and concerns through the whole process. I would highly recommend MSP! I worked with Randy during booking, he was always quick to answer any question and helped however he could with me planning a wedding out of town during COVID. We had DJ Kevin on our wedding night and he did a fantastic job! He made sure the night ran smoothly and kept all of our friends and family out on the dance floor when I did not think they were dancers! I had a blast and if I ever need a DJ again I would go to Mike Staff and either ask for Kevin or any other DJ they have because I know they would be great.

Mike Staff was fantastic! We used them for Photography, Videography, and DJ. They were so professional and helpful! Our original photographer had an emergency and Mike Staff didnt miss a beat. They called with a full back up plan and made sure that our entire day was captured perfectly! They kept everything running smoothly and guided us throughout the day! Our DJ Kevin kept our dance floor full and made sure that everything ran smoothly time wise. Our main photographer Mary was great. She captured a variety of posed and natural shots and made us feel so comfortable. Our videographer Sylvester was also amazing and had a great eye for detail and had great ideas for shots. Overall this was a great team for our wedding! We got the DJ (Mike), photography (Dave), and videography (Will) all done by Mike Staff. All three were absolutely great to work with and put us very much at ease with their professionalism and friendliness. We got several compliments on music, and multiple guests told us that Mike was the best DJ theyd ever seen at a wedding. He met with us the Monday of the wedding to make sure he played everything we asked for and to get all the name pronunciations correct. Tip: fill out the pre-meeting form very thoroughly, it made the whole process go a lot more smoothly. We got two videos from Will, one which was a documentary of the whole ceremony, entrances to the reception, special dances, toasts, and other traditions, and another which was a very nicely edited clips of the day. They were so well put together that my dad said they could be watched as entertainment, not just for nostalgia. Dave was our go-to guy through the whole day and very willing to do any photo shots we asked for (even with sparklers!). Our only slight disappointment was that the photos inside the church turned out slightly grainy from the poor indoor lighting, which although that isnt the photographers fault we were a little disappointed that we werent told that might be a problem. Overall though, this team made our day really spectacular and we would recommend them to anyone wanting a full-service package for their wedding!

Wow!! My husband and I got married August 27th. From the beginning of planning our wedding, Randy worked with us on the planning. He made it such an easy and fun process to chose a DJ, photographer, videographer. We chose DJ James. Ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception all ran smoothly. He kept us and our guests on the dance floor all night long. He is a very professional, outgoing, and a fun DJ. He made sure my husband and I were taken care of all night long with drinks, music, and great timeline ideas for the night to run smoothly. We chose Jennifer McDonald as our photographer and Dustin as our videographer. I was VERY impressed. Most importantly, they worked so well together to capture all the shots. Both had great ideas and made sure every detail of the shots were perfect. I cannot wait to get the photos and videos back! :) They both were so fun, energetic, and organized with what photos we wanted to capture. We had a great time at our wedding thanks to our Mike Staff DJ...DJ Rick. When our initial Mike Staff DJ quit just a few months before our wedding they arranged/replaced him with Rick. Rick was great- he played all the hits we were looking for and was able to keep people on the dance floor all night and appeased all generations with his song selections. Would recommend!

Mike staff productions exceeded our expectations. We used them for video, photo, dj and uplighting for our wedding. The communication from the start was everything we didn’t know we wanted and more. We had to change venues, and any questions we had were answered via email (preferred method of communication) immediately on business days. A Our Dj dev played everything we asked and was a great emcee. Mary our photographer is so talented and was a pleasure to have around. Tldr: Great company would not hesitate to recommend.Mike Staff provided the DJ and two photographers for our June 2021 wedding. We were originally slated to have our wedding in May of 2020, but because of COVID that did not happen. Planning one wedding is enough of a hassle, but planning two was incredibly annoying. Fortunately, Mike Staff made rescheduling everything incredibly easy. In a time where they no doubt were taking a hit to their business from the lockdown, they were more than willing to accommodate the changed date and honor all the money we had paid for their services.Throughout the almost two year ordeal, we never felt like Mike Staff was trying to fleece us or upsell us on unnecessary services. All costs and services were clearly spelled out and there were no last minute surprises. A few weeks prior to our (rescheduled) wedding both the photographer and DJ sent a form where we could start filling out our wedding timeline and providing details about the day. This was followed by a call with both the photographers and DJ where they answered all of our remaining questions.On the day of the wedding both the photographer (Bethany) and her assistant (Jen) arrived right on time and proceeded to capture the events of the day. They both had an incredible eye for detail and picked out some great locations for posed photos with the wedding party and family. They went as far as to wait until the sun disappeared behind the clouds so they could get their shots with the most ideal lighting. I am not a fan of taking posed photos, but their positive attitudes made it as painless as possible. They also captured some incredible candid shots of the wedding party and the guests. It took about a month for us to get our photos, but they were all great, and we are glad that we will be able to look back at them for the rest of our lives.The DJ (Jim) was also great. We originally had him slated to play acoustic guitar during the ceremony on top of his DJ responsibilities, but after he reviewed the songs we picked for the ceremony he was very candid about the fact that the songs would not sound correct with only one guitar, so we opted with digital versions of the songs. While it was a bit of a bummer, we appreciated the fact that he gave his honest professional opinion on the matter. He was an awesome DJ and did a great job keeping people informed of the wedding events and playing a variety of songs for the full spectrum of guests.All and all, we had a great experience with Mike Staff and would highly recommend anyone planning on having their wedding in Michigan check them out.

My wife and I used Mikes staff to DJ our wedding, the process of of picking our DJ Josh was very fun and easy. Josh B. did such a great job too. My husband and I just got married and our wedding plans changed a thousand times due to covid. Mike staff was always understanding and accommodated each change. When the day did come, we had Sunny dj our wedding and he did an amazing time. We got people complimenting the dj all night.

Guests are still telling us how great our DJ was a month after our wedding! We cannot thank Kevin C enough for helping make our small wedding amazing. He played all of the songs we requested, was easy to work with, and used his expertise to keep all of our guests dancing all night. Highly recommend Kevin and Mike Staff Productions!

Kurt aced the pairing of Chris and Erik for our wedding! He listened and got to know both my fiancé and I and made us very comfortable. He paired us with Chris who made photos enjoyable, captured the must haves, but let us enjoy every moment of the wedding day without feeling pressured and busy. Erik was spot on on all of our requests, read our wedding and played wonderful music throughout. 10/10 would recommend!!!!

Wow. That is the word that comes to my mind when I think of my wedding day. I booked Mike Staff for my photography, videography, and DJ services, and I am SO thankful that I did. I can not lie, when we initially booked Mike Staff I was worried that I wouldn’t get the “personalized experience” that most brides get when they book freelance photographers/videographers. I was 100000% WRONG. My photographer and I spoke on the phone multiple times leading up to my wedding, and every single detail I requested for the day she remembered and did for me. My videographer called me the week of the wedding, and also put my mind to ease explaining that he would be there to help with whatever I wanted for my big day. Our DJ (Kevin) was amazing and took the time to learn how to pronounce all the names in our bridal party correctly so he could introduce everyone properly at our reception. He was so good to keep us running on time at our reception and kept everything going smoothly.I don’t consider myself to be a very emotional person, but I have cried every single time I look through my wedding pictures and video. Our photographers (Vesna and Jonathon) were absolutely amazing, going as far as to lay down in the snow on a 13 degree day to get the perfect shots for us. Our wedding videographer (Tracy) was amazing too, and captured every single small detail I could ever want on the wedding day. (Side note: Mike Staff does not hold the rights to your photos/video, so I now have 1,700 photos that I have full rights to print/use wherever I want. that is HUGE and some photographers make the couple pay for the rights to their own pictures.)I have received numerous compliments from family and friends in the church about how fluid the photographers and videographer were, and how it seemed they all moved as one throughout the church to get the most important parts of the day. We can not thank Vesna, Jonathon, Tracy and Kevin enough for what they did for us to give us the best wedding possible. My husband and I are so thankful to Mike Staff for employing the most professional artists because they truly do amazing work.

My husband and I booked with Mike Staff Productions for our 2020 wedding. Due to covid-19, we were never able to have that wedding and experience the DJ and videography services from Mike Staff Productions, but I wanted to speak to the amazing customer service and booking/postponing/cancellation experience we had.We first met at their office when considering them for our DJ and videography services and were blown away by the options, great value, and specifically the DJ introduction videos that helped us narrow down our choice. They offer numerous video packages too, and something my husband and I really liked was that they give you an edited highlight reel AND unedited video footage. Although we never got to have our wedding and video because of Covid, just knowing that the option was there for us to document our friends and family made us feel like Mike Staff Productions was the absolute right choice for us.We navigated initially postponing our wedding and ultimately cancelling it due to the pandemic, however we are 100% certain we will be booking with Mike Staff Productions for future events. They have been lovely, kind and courteous in email correspondence, and very customer oriented. I couldnt recommend them enough!

We had Kyle for our DJ service and Tracy for our videographer and both were amazing! Very professional and knew wedding day activities and cues like the back of their hands. You can tooottalllyyy trust Kyle as a DJ to keep the party moving and very good at reading the room to figure out what music/vibe to cater to. We were SO impressed with Randy at Mike Staff Productions! We unfortunately had to cancel our big wedding and we decided to replan a wedding for a close group of family and friends...in only 3 weeks! We were worried about what a small reception for only 17 people would look like but Randy kept us dancing like we would have if all 170 guests from our orgininaly list could have been there. Randy was attentive and responsive, he gladly took recommendations from our guests and even made sure I had a drink in my hand! Thank you Randy!

We went with Mike Staff Productions for our wedding DJ services. The company has strong partnerships throughout the wedding industry and it’s obvious why they are recommended by so many. The staff was very professional, organized, and quick to respond to all our questions. We’re so glad we were able to work with DJ Nick on our big day. Our wedding was 9/14/2019. Picking the right DJ was possibly the most important aspect of our wedding to us. When we went to meet with Mike Staff Productions, they gave us a breakdown of all of their available DJs for our wedding day and we got to watch video interviews with each DJ and hear how they liked to DJ events. We really liked the personality of DJ John who is a full time DJ and works a lot of bar and club spots. We went and saw him work at a bar spot in Chicago and thought he was perfect for our style!John was absolutely amazing! First of all he is an unbelievable DJ with the best song selection and timing. The energy on the dance floor did not slow for a single second. He read the crowd and every song that came on next was better than the last! But even more than music selection, John was amazing at keeping the whole night moving smoothly. At a few points there were the inevitable changed plans, and John was so on top of it. I could really tell that he cared a lot about doing his best to make the night perfect. He is a really great guy.

DJ Greg- Greg was so much fun and so great to work with,  I changed all my songs last minute and double and triple checked to make sure I was good with everything. Great guy.Videography Dustin- Dustin was amazing, He was so fun to work with and he made the whole experience easy. Best part was when he slide across the floor on his side during our first dance just so he could get a good shot. He teamed up with my photographer and they got some pretty awesome shots. Cant wait to see the video :)

Mike Staff did a fabulous job as our wedding photographer. I could not recommend them enough! Our photographer Jim took a ton of great photos. He recommended a lot of great shots/poses, followed us around during the reception to make sure we could get the pictures with guests that we wanted, and got a lot of great candid pics as well. The photos are amazing quality, we got to keep the copyright, and my wife and I love to go through our photo album and remember the special day. Jim even stood in a creek and got down on the ground to get the best shot! Props to him.

Mike Staff was an absolute dream for our wedding vendors! We loved the simplicity of booking our photographer and DJ through the same company (which came highly recommended by a family member). The initial meeting was so fun and helped us determine what style of photos we wanted! We loved getting to learn about several photographers/DJs and choosing our favorite from the group too. It made the whole experience feel more personalized. Shannon was an INCREDIBLE photographer for both our engagement shoot and the wedding day itself. We received a call from one of the staff letting us know that due unexpected last minute family matter, our #1 choice DJ was not going to be able to attend, however we were told a replacement was already lined up, who happened to be our #2 choice. We were very happy with how proactive & transparent working with the entire staff. DJ Nate was our DJ for the night and did an incredible job. He did a great job of keeping our wedding schedule on track. We used Mike Staff Production for our backyard wedding in September 2020. We utilized their DJ and Videography services. I cannot say enough amazing things about this company. Our actual event went off without a hitch. DJ Phil was GREAT! Each aspect of his responsibilities were executed perfectly. Our videographer, Dustin, was so awesome. We had so much fun on our wedding day with the videographer, photographer, and DJ! We thought it might be weird to have cameras with us, but we had so much fun that we forgot all about it. We love our video! I think I’ve watched the highlight at least 100 times!

Josh and his wife were absolutely amazing. At times some of our guests probably drove them crazy but they never showed it. One thing that stood out was my girls and some guys couldnt figure out the bustle to the Dress and Josh stepped up to help. Probably to hurry things up but definitely above and beyond what he needed to do. It was greatly appreciated. He was so down to earth and exactly the type of DJ we wanted. He played requests but also really stuck to our do not play list and that was important to us. He listened and made the party great. We had lots of feed back on how great he was. We just wish we had more time to talk and party with him and his wife!

My husband and I booked Mike Staff Productions for photography, videography, and our DJ for our wedding and WE COULD NOT BE HAPPIER! From the first time we went to the office to meet with them, everyone seemed so genuine and it was clear that they were not trying to screw us over with prices and did not try to upset us. They found the best photographer, videographer, and DJ to fit exactly what we wanted for our style and personalities. Communication was wonderful leading up to the wedding (customer service is also fantastic! Very responsive to emails whenever I had a question) and the day of the wedding could not have gone better. They all communicated with each other and kept everything on schedule. Our guests were extremely impressed, pleased, and had a wonderful night! From what we have seen of our pictures (we do not have them all yet), they are STUNNING, absolutely amazing quality. Our DJ kept the dance floor going all night and kept us on track as well. We used the DJ and Photography services for our November wedding and couldnt be more pleased. Our initial consultation was a sit down with someone in the office and we described our preferences for photography type and DJ, and they showed short videos of potential people we could hire based on availability and preferences.DJ Kevin J was on point will all of our requests and Ilse was awesome as our photographer. Both responded quickly to questions and requests we had- would definitely recommend! I think it was also really helpful and beneficial to have vendors from the same company because they most likely have worked together in some capacity! We would have gotten our videographer from Mike Staff as well had we chosen to hire one.

Mikes was great! I went with them for all 3 services, videography, photography, and DJ. I will say I had some minor complications with the DJ but the overall experience was great. Chris is the definition of amazing. He was my photographer but the day of he felt like so much more. He went above and beyond and helped to coordinate the wedding, made sure we were on timeline, memorized my schedule and just overall killed it. He is honestly the main reason for the 5 star review. He deserves the world!!

We used Mike staff for both our photographer and our DJ and they were both amazing. Shannon was our amazing photographer. Everyone boasted about how great and how prepared she was. Things from pinning a boutineer on the boys to fixing the necklaces to finding the perfect angle. Everything was fabulous and relaxed. Jackie was our DJ and I had a lot of great compliments from everyone about how awesome the music was and the transition between songs. The next day my friends were complaining about their body hurting from so much dancing. She was very professional. Both girls were awesome and Im so glad I picked them for my wedding.

Loved, loved, loved this company. We used them for DJ, Photography and videography for our wedding. Our DJ was amazing - he played all of our requests and kept the party going all night. Our Photographer was great, too. She was organized and fun to be with all day. Our images are gorgeous and we feel that we got WAY more than our moneys worth. Finally, our wedding video is our new favorite thing. We love it. It really captured our day and were SO happy we decided to get it. WOW. Mike Staff Productions exceeded our expectations from the moment we met at our interview. We were welcomed warmly, and Kurt made us feel as if our wedding was as important to him as it was to us. At our DJ interview, we actually hired them for Photography as well!Randy, our DJ, clearly loves what he does, and we LOVED him. He was detailed, super friendly, FUN, and knows how to keep a crowd dancing! We got a lot of compliments on Randy!Our photographer, Mark, was also great! Were not creative but we didnt have to be! He had plenty of ideas for pictures.I would recommend them to anyone! Dont let their big name scare you off. They are a class act! And many companies can learn from them how to service customers.

We used Mike Staff for both photography and DJ services. Our DJ Marty was fantastic. He knew our officiant and called him separately, They did some planning together before the day of. He also heard my maid of honor mention the Avett brothers in her speech, so he was sure to play us one of their songs. He also came to me asking when Id like to hear certain songs played. He was awesome!!

This is difficult for me to write because I never write bad reviews but I want to warn other brides and families out there so they are not as hurt and disappointed as my sister was. I was the maid of honor in her wedding and she used Mike Staff Productions. The DJ did a great job but the photos were beyond disappointing.My sister was very organized and had set aside almost two hours for photos before the ceremony. We were not running late in fact we were ready early. Mike had such bad time management he wasted almost all of that time. We ended up with only one picture of the girls and half of us are seated. Just the one photo. In one pose. That’s it. The men’s photos were taken by the second photographer and they had less time for photos but they had so many shots both seated and standing, inside and outside while the women have one photo. For the bridal party together he only took one photo as well. Picture this – half of the bridal party sitting but with more people on the left side than the right side. The bride and groom are not even in the center and therefore not in the ‘window’. The groom is literally standing behind someone. I brought up several times that we were uneven and the bride and groom were not centered and he told me not to worry about it, and was condescending. That is the one and only picture my sister has of the bridal party. We were a party of eight so we were not difficult to pose. When my sister finally got her photos there were many that were included that were blurry and underexposed and not in an artistic way. I did notice that there were a couple of times that Mike’s hands were shaking and once he was visibly sweating (it was a winter wedding), maybe he was ill that day? Either way the quality of the photos he took were not acceptable.My sister to this day cannot even talk about her wedding without getting upset and crying over the photos. Please think twice when booking Mike Staff Productions!! I don’t want to see anyone else go through what my sister did.

Our wedding videography experience was perfect! Our video came out just wonderful and Daniel, our videographer did an amazing job! He got all the right shots and the customer service was top notch! We are so very happy that we chose Mike Staff Productions for our wedding day and have been referring this company to all of our friends and family! We hired Mike Staff for photography as well as DJ services as a bundle package. They excelled in both the departments. Ours was inter-culture wedding and we had an Indian wedding ceremony followed by traditional American wedding a week later. Mark and Vesna did an awesome job in covering both the events. Each picture taken by them was so artistic and had a story to tell. We got the digital copies within a week and we just ordered professional albums as Christmas gifts for our families. When we saw them in print, we fully realized the crispness of colors and balanced lighting behind them.As for DJ, Kevin also hit the ball out of the park. He happily entertained our requests for customized clips for wedding first dances and other songs. He made sure to learn the pronunciation of names of all the Indian groomsmen for the grand entrance introduction. Most importantly, he was able to import Spotify list of Bollywood songs and blended them with mainstream songs so that both Indian and American communities among the guests enjoyed them and danced their hearts out.Overall, we were very pleased by the services provided by Mike Staff and would recommend them to others in a heartbeat!

Mike Staff did such a great job. Our photographer, Jim, was excellent. He was so flexible and creative and was willing to do anything for us. Our videographer was great as well. We havent seen our video yet, but weve seen his work and we know we wont be disappointed! And Tim was our DJ and he was awesome. He knew exactly how to work with our crowd and our dance floor was never close to empty. My now, husband and I want to relive our wedding day over and over and we owe a lot of that to Mike Staff!

Cant say enough good things about both of our photographers and our DJ! We had so many compliments on all of them, from their professionalism to their quality. The title DJ doesnt really do Josh justice; he was dressed professionally, super easy to work with, kept the dance floor packed and we had so many guests the complimented him! He also kept everything in the reception running smoothly, which helped us to just relax and enjoy the night. We just received all of our pictures today (our one month anniversary!) and they are so much more beautiful than I could have ever hoped for. Again, Dennis and his assistant photographer were fabulous; kept us on track and had wonderful suggestions! They were super fun to work with and overall made our day so much more special. Mike Staff and our DJ Kenneth G. (in the Traverse City MI area) was AMAZING. They were by far our most professional and reliable vendors to work with. Kenneth and the Mike Staff team were very professional leading up to the wedding. They made sure they had a clear understanding of the vibe we were trying to achieve for our big day. We were overall fairly disappointed with our DJ from Mike Staff Productions (Joseph Luellen). First the good - he was extremely friendly, worked well with us and our wedding party, and was organized with how he ran beginning of the reception, with both us and our wedding party being introduced in style.To add to this, the order that he played the music was a little bit off; some of the best dance songs were played at the very end after people had vacated the dance floor and were enjoying a midnight snack.All in all, we didnt get what we had hoped for in a DJ, especially since we were paying him pretty well in my opinion.EDIT: Mike Staff Productions reached out to us afterwards to frankly discuss our concerns and rectify the issues for the future. In my mind, it reflected attention to detail and a commitment to customer satisfaction. I was very pleased by their willingness to take constructive feedback.

Mike Staff absolutely exceeded our expectations. We purchased the photography services from them, and our photographer, Domenic, was with us every step of the way. He was very attentive to every single detail, extremely flexible (we had to make some changes to the schedule and location of the romantics photos due to the weather), and had a great eye for photos. We are so happy with how all of them turned out and cannot wait to display them in our home.

I do not have enough positive things to say about Mike Staff. I used them for both my photography and DJ and I was equally happy with both services. We used Mike Staff for our DJ and photographer and we were very happy with both! They offered a bundled price which we appreciated and they were easy and helpful to communicate with leading up to the wedding. DJ Dave called us the Monday before the wedding to go over the timeline and what music we wanted. We also sent him a Spotify playlist of ideas and he incorporated some of our songs into the playlist for the event. We thought he used a great mix of fast and slow songs and his transitions between songs were great. Many of our guests told us how much they were enjoying the music. We would highly recommend using Mike Staff!

My husband and Is experience with Mike Staff Productions was flawless. We knew we were sold after talking with Kurt. Chris the photographer... AMAZING. Paid him an extra hour and half to stick around and take more photos. He was funny, and knew what he was looking for to capture the best moments. We gave him some ideas and he went with it! Had such a great time working with him. Mike our DJ had the dance floor packed from 8:30-12:30. I mean PACKED. I would be surprised if the videographer could see me in the crowds of people dancing. Overall we both loved Mike Staff Productions for our wedding day and would gladly use their services again in the future!

The number one reason I checked out Mike Staff in the first place is because of all the amazing reviews they had - I dont think I ever saw a negative, or even less than excellent one. Mike Staff definitely lives up to the hype. Our DJ, Bob, kept our party going all night and no one wanted to leave when the reception was over. We had an absolutely fabulous experience with Mike Staff Productions. Our DJ (Randy) was perfect for our event. He was fun and professional and he helped tailor our experience to fit our personalities. There were delays in the ceremony due to rain, and he helped reassure us that we could still make everything work. People were on the dance floor ALL night b/c he chose music that the crowd responded to, and guests couldnt stop talking about how much FUN they had at our wedding (despite the weather delays). My husband and I got married about 2 weeks ago and one of the most important things for us at our wedding was to make sure everyone was dancing. The experience with Mike Staff was great from beginning to end. From the first meeting till the post-wedding stuff.. they were super atencious and professional. The people in the office are very nice and helpful through the process of choosing your professionals for your wedding day, making payments, pre-wedding planning, post-wedding music selections... they were great on everything! We hired 2 wedding photgraphers and a videographer. They arrived at the location for pre-wedding pictures on time (actually they were early). They gave us very good direction during the photo/video session. In the house we were getting ready they even moved stuff around to make sure we would have great pictures. On the phone conversation with Ilze, our main photographer, I explained to her the big problem I have about having my eyes closed in most pictures. She listened and made sure to check that she had good shots with my eyes open. She was also very efficient through formal family and romantic pictures to make sure we could have the pictures done within our short time frame ( a bit over 1 hour). She was very friendly and the pictures turned out amazing!!Tracy, our second photographer, also did an amazing job! She took great shots of the guys before the cerimony. I also loved how well she captured the details of the decoration in the reception venue.. the centerpieces, the guest book, the cake, the gift table... all the details we spend so much time planning but we barely get to enjoy during the wedding and now we can remember them forever through her pictures.Patruck was our videographer, he was also very nice, from the phone conversation till the end of the wedding. We still didnt receive our wedding video, but i am 100% sure it will be amazing just like everything that Mike Staff have done.

We couldnt be happier with our DJ, Steve, at our wedding. He set up music for both our ceremony and reception. He was there early, VERY professional and friendly, and kept people out on the dance floor throughout the night! I would highly recommend Mike Staff Productions and specifically Steve Miller as a DJ :)

We used the DJ services from Mike Staff which we were given by my now brother in law. We used the same DJ, Tom Downey, and honestly the dance floor was packed from 8pm till midnight. He was very flexible as we changed our ceremony location from inside the tent to outside at the last minute (weather was not perfect!) and everything worked perfectly. All our friends loved the wedding and Ive already recommended Tom to a friend of mine for her December wedding and she has booked him.

Mike Staff was recommended to me by a couple friends that both had good experiences with them. I was very impressed by the presentation they gave when I was first considering them. We used their photography and dj services and couldnt have been more pleased. Everyone was very professional and did exactly what we requested of them.

We chose them to do our photos and video. We havent received our video back yet so I cant speak to it, but photos turned out okay. We are happy with the ones that we did get, but I will say that we expected a lot more. There were a ton taken of the guys but only one of my girls and I which is really sad. I personally didnt have experience with wedding photography and felt that it was disorganized and wasted time trying to get family photos done. Looking back I wish our photographer would have been a bit more in command so we would have more photos. But again, the pictures we did get are nice in quality and were happy with them.

When we first met with Kurt from Mike Staff, I thought I would be the easiest bride to work with. Boy was I wrong. A month before the wedding I began to stress about the music that would be playing. Kurt suggested we come back in for another visit to talk things over. We covered EVERYTHING, and Kurt was upbeat and supportive the entire time. To be honest, I believe he would have sat there as many times as we needed. From our entrance music (WWF inspired) to our final song, Kurt brought a variety of music to the dance floor. Each and every guest remarked on how much they loved the music. You simply cannot go wrong with Mike Staff!

I was hesitant to go with Mike Staff Productions at first because I seemed to hear their name everywhere. I thought they might be too big to care about my event. My 1st phone call with them changed my mind! Then, the meeting we had in their Troy office was awesome; no stress, you get to see everything they do and YOU get to decide who your DJ and Photographer will be! Awesome service and quality. And the wedding video... AMAZING!! We almost didnt get a wedding video, but we had so many friends suggesting it that we gave in. BEST decision we made! Thanks Mike Staff!!!

Matt Belz was the DJ at our wedding. He was amazing. He remembered all our special requests (like being introduced as Lord and Lady) and kept the guests on the dance floor all night! He also has a great announcer voice and made sure he knew how to pronounce all the bridal party names beforehand.

Mike Staff was great and easy to work with throughout the entire experience. My husband and I chose to use their video services from the getting ready process at the hotel through to the dance portion of the evening at the Lafayette Grande. I was very impressed with everything they got on tape, as well as how beautifully it was edited. Being able to revisit our wedding night by watching our video is priceless.

We hired Mike Staff productions to do our wedding videography (we had already hired a separate photographer, so we only needed video at the time we found them). Our videographer was Daniel Priest, and we were extremely impressed with his work the day of the wedding and the quality of the videos we received afterwards. If I could give 6 stars for the quality of work they did, I would. Daniel and his assistant were extremely professional and kind. They were on time and very communicative with us with what types of shots they were looking to get, which was extremely helpful. Daniel busted his a** running around to get all of the right angles and shots, but he was never overly controlling or bossy, he was extremely nice the entire (very long) day! With our package, we got a full length video roughly an hour long and a shorter highlight video of about 8 minutes (including one social media shareable version with non-copyrighted music on it), and we received them much earlier than we expected to! We had the option to edit the song choices, but he honestly did such a good job that we chose to leave it as is because it was perfect. We are so thrilled with our videos and have watched them several times since receiving them. If you are looking for a wedding videographer in the southeast Michigan area, I cannot recommend this company enough. If you can, I would specifically request Daniel Priest as he is extremely talented, very kind, and will work so hard to get the perfect video of your day. At the end of the night we tipped him an extra $200 because he was just that good. Highly recommend!Editing to add a few things I forgot about: (1) my husband and I have a toddler, so were generally pretty busy and were extremely delayed with asking for changes/approving the final video, but the company owner was nothing but accommodating and nice when we asked for more time. The entire communications process with everyone at the company was seamless and respectful both before and after our wedding, which we very much appreciated! (2) Daniel and his assistant were not only on time, they were at the hotel for getting ready shots early and they stayed late to ensure they got some video of the dance floor after it opened. We honestly thought they went above and beyond for us - we never felt like they were watching the clock and just waiting to leave, they were truly dedicated to giving us the best service the entire time they were there. (3) Their prices are extremely reasonable and transparent (we never experienced any hidden fees or weird add-on pricing stuff afterwards) especially for the quality you get, and you have the option of extending the service hours if you decide you want a bit more time during the wedding day. We opted to extend our package by a bit so we could get coverage of the getting ready stuff through the reception, and Daniel was so helpful with helping us figure out the best option for us to extend without spending unnecessary money on wasted time. Overall, they were one of the best vendors we had and were so pleased to have them with us on our wedding day! Thanks guys!!!

Mike Staff was the first DJ service I checked out, and I should have saved myself the trouble and stopped there! Dealing with Mike Staff was so easy, from start to finish. The DJ I chose was Shaun, and he was great. I was completely disorganized with the music, and did not have any of my selections picked out on the Monday before my wedding. Finally I talked with him on Wednesday and TEXTED him the few selections I made, and asked him to choose the rest for me… kinda scary but Im pretty easy-going. He played the best music all night! People danced constantly! Many people commented on the great DJ, and how much fun our wedding was. Shaun was professional the whole way through, and did not try and be part of the entertainment as I have seen with other DJs (which is awful…). Mike Staff is a great value for the price!

Horrible videography services and customer service. I had an extensive conversation with our videographer prior to the wedding. I wanted him to capture our entire reception including dances and guests (this is important in my culture). I hired the videographer to be there for 8 hours. The edited video I got back was about an hour and half, which included a half hour of my ceremony. When I asked for the raw footage, they had only 3 hours of footage. I was very confused on how there was only three hours of footage when he was there for 8 hours. I asked for a refund and never heard back from their company. Would never recommend anyone to them!

We recently got married and could not have been happier with everything Mike Staff Productions did for us!! From meeting with them a year ago to start the planning, to the very last detail at the end of the night, they were on top of it all! We worked with Jason for video, who was nothing but fun. He was flexible with our schedule and great to have tagging along with us all day. Tim, our DJ, was beyond amazing. We had several surprises through the night that he helped us pull off.
