G&S was fantastic! They cleaned my windows (Interior and exterior), skylights, screens, and gutters. They clearly communicated what the services would entail and were very accommodating when scheduling. What is really great about G&S is that the office staff are always quick to answer the phone and are very helpful and informative. The crew that did the work were AMAZING! They were professional and clearly communicated any issues I had with any of my windows or gutters. They also were really sweet with my dog who was overly excited to have visitors. My windows look brand new and my gutters are clean! The office staff was also very professional and reminded me a business day prior that the crew would be coming on the appointment date, and followed up with me after to make sure I was satisfied. The pricing is extremly fair for the quality of this professional service. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND and couldnt be more pleased with my experience!

My HOA emailed me to say G&S would be out doing other work on-site, and would optionally clean windows. This is an apartment-style condo complex. The largest units in the complex have two average-sized (~45 x ~50) sliding windows. Many units, including mine, only have one such window. Each unit also has a single sliding door (~80 x ~90).Were being quoted $85 per unit, which for me equates to a single window and a single sliding door. Exterior cleaning only, and no screen cleaning. The workmanship might be great, but I dont see how it could be $85 great.

G and S did a great job on the window cleaning at my home in Clawson! They have real live PEOPLE who ACTUALLY answer the phone when you call! They were able to schedule my windows to be cleaned the following week, and they sent two teams to get the job done, and arrived right on time. All of the workers were knowledgeable, friendly and respectful. I was very comfortable with them. Also, they got the screens back in the windows correctly, and they did an extra step to polish the windows, basically making them sparkle! (Thanks Chris!) I have used other services in the past, and they did not compare. G and S prices are reasonable, their workers are top notch and do a great job, and they actually care about good customer service! I will never use anyone but them in the future!

They were extremely professional and courteous. There was a mixup at the end and our work order didn’t specify to clean our screens, but they were very accommodating and went back around and removed the screens and cleaned them for an additional minimal charge. We really appreciated the whole experience and would be very happy to have them back again next year.

I am so pleased with my experience with G&S Windows! Every step in the process was a pleasant, the booking to the window cleaning itself. An appointment was made at my convenience, a phone call a day ahead to confirm and a call that day from the crew to inform me when they were 10 minutes away. I appreciate this kind of information, so I am ready and not wasting time! Two young men arrived at my door, wearing clean work clothes and masks, and introduced themselves. They proceeded to put on “booties” prior to entering my home, then explained how they would proceed. When the job was done, they moved back furniture, turned off lights, and were consistently polite and courteous. When they presented the bill, they also presented a “ window report card” pointing out any possible issues that I may need/want to address with my windows (broken seals, scratches). It was a great experience! It’s not an easy decision to invite strangers into your home, however these young men were professional and I never felt uncomfortable! I will definitely be using G&S again, and hopefully the same team, Goike and Neal

Crews were great & took care to clean completely. The initial phone call for service appt. resulted in a 2 week wait for an estimater to come by. I reached out on Yelp & got an immediate response & an electronic nightmare of an estimate. It was some app, an unwieldy series of buttons to push coupled with pages that didnt load correctly instead of a simple pdf or doc. So another phone call to again book appt.

I was really happy with the quality of the work that G & S did cleaning our windows. The two window cleaners were so nice, and worked quietly for hours cleaning the inside and outside of all the windows in the house, some of which were pretty tricky to get at. The windows were so clean afterwards we were AMAZED and warned them that they didnt even look like there was a window, and that birds would probably start crashing into them . LOL Weve cleaned them many times ourselves over the years, and there was absolutely no comparison with how we did it ourselves. Very glad that we spent the money. It would have taken us SO LONG to do what they did so quickly and efficiently. Will use them again!

I recently had a very good experience with G & S Gutter cleaning. I have a gutter located close to some electric wires. Initially, the young man working on the house notified me that he would have to leave the filled gutter due to the lines near it. I asked if he could speak to his supervisor and within an hour the supervisor was at the house examining the gutter. He consulted with a colleague and then personally came back the next day and cleared the gutter himself. I appreciated his follow through and understanding my concern about the urgency to clear the gutter without making me feel bad that it was complicated. He called me to make sure I knew what was happening through the process and it was much appreciated. Very professional and safety conscious.

Joe and the team arrived on time and were courteous and professional. I really appreciated the calls from the office and the crew keeping me informed on arrival times and appointment confirmations. They did a great job!

I have been a customer of G&S Windows for many years. I am always impressed with their system of calling customers to remind them that they are due for a clean, something I tend to forget to keep track of! They are very quick to schedule and are always on time. Their cleaning technicians do a wonderful job, especially if I request a window be touched up and cleaned again if I notice the corner still has dirt. I know this can be frustrating on their end but they never show it, instead they are always happy to make sure I am satisfied with the end result. Last clean, I decided not to put some screens back and they happily offered to carry them for me to my desired storage location, which was so helpful and nice.In terms of covid protocol, they were happily complicit to wear masks the entire time they were inside my home. I never once noticed they let it fall down or that they did not wear them properly. They also wore booties over their shoes which I appreciated.I have a lot of windows in my home and they were here from 8am until 3:30pm and not once did I see them take breaks, in fact I dont recall they even had lunch! They worked the entire time. It is my pet peeve when I have contractors here and they are taking smoke breaks every thirty minutes but these technicians were here to work - honestly and efficiently. I am not opposed to breaks but I was surprised they took none!At the end of the service, they gave me a thorough run down of the work, notified me of one window they saw was broken, where the hard water system had left residue on a window by my basement and one window they couldnt reach in a double story landing above a staircase. I appreciated this. I do not think G&S are a cheap service, in fact it is fairly costly but in my opinion you get what you pay for and if it is a service you only employ only once or twice a year then it is entirely worth it. It was nice to receive a service call the day after the cleaning, to check in and make sure I was happy. In all, the customer service is impressive. I highly recommend G&S Windows.

This winter has been quite mild and we’ve yet to experience a snowfall that has required snow removal. Having said that, I’m very pleased with the snow removal services that G&S has provided me for the year prior. G&S is very professional, efficient, and always timely. ZERO STARS would be an appropriate rating.G&S did an onsite quote to clean all of the gutters on my house. I called G&S several times prior to scheduling an appointment o confirm with them the house has gutter guards. I explained some guards were to be removed and discarded, others needed to be unscrewed, rotated out of the way, gutters cleaned and then replaced. The woman on the phone confirmed there would be an extra charge for this work. I called a 3rd time to request roof valley cleaning and also mentioned again about the gutter guards. For the 4th time, I was told gutter guards are not an issue.On 6-Nov-19 Blake and Will arrived from G&S. I spent a minimum of 15 mins in the yard with them reviewing the work; specifically pointing out which gutter guards should be removed and which cleaned.3 hours later ALL of the gutter guards were in the trash, folded, bent, twisted. The workers apologized profusely I am so sorry. I misunderstood.Jerret came to the house the following day and reviewed all of the damage. Integrated gutter guards destroyed, flashing strips torn off, shingles damaged, debris left in gutter. As of today, G&S has replaced 3 tiny brackets and stated they are not responsible for the damage, they cannot replace or repair the damage due to liability? and they ran my credit card, without my permission, for $100.00This is not over until I am satisfied.

Easy to schedule. Calls for a reminder, but we do not need to be home. Great service have not had any issues with them. I have used them twice a year every year for the past 5 or 7 years.

This was a great experience. The G&S team called me to say they had an opening that was early of my scheduled date, so they showed up at the adjusted time, and did a thorough (not rushed) job on my gutters, plus explaining what they saw on my rooftops before and after. Ive recommended them to my neighbors, and Ill be contacting them in Spring for rooftop and siding washes.

Before they began, they asked us whether there were any issues that needed attention. They did a great job addressing our concern and then cleaning the gutters. We were very happy with the service.

The G&S team that came out to clean our gutters was on-time, quick, and helpful with any questions that we had. The only reason I cant give 5 stars is that there were a few areas where stuff that came out of the gutters wasnt fully cleaned up. Otherwise, solid service that well be using again next year.

We have been using this company of a couple of years now. This year they did a great job. I think that they collect of the debris from the gutters in bags and take it with them. Left the gutters and the area very clean.

They managed to schedule me for an earlier date. Came right when they said they would. Very friendly and good explanation of what they were about to do and what they found after they did the gutter cleaning.

First time was definitely the last time. I had mentioned twice for a silver package but they sent only the gutter service and not for Windows. The gutter service wasn’t performed quite to my expectations.

The two service people that worked on my windows were very professional, very accommodating and helpful.I would recommend this company because of their excellent customer service and professional employees.

They charged me for almost $50 dollars above my quote that was contracted for. They met this quote the last several times I used them. The additional service that they charged for would have taken under 5 min. I have used G&S for two years. This never happened before. Didn’t have my authorization, charged my card regardless. No initial explanation. Just a handwritten increase in price on my receipt. I called the day after my service to request an explanation of why they charged me more than my agreement. I called fully expecting to have the additional amount taken off. A refund for the amount would have saved me as a client. They refused. My family in the Royal Oak area have used them in the past. However they have lost our trust (and in turn) 4 households. Honestly, had they simply requested permission I would have told them to go ahead with the service. I will give them credit for not being rude when explaining to me why they felt they didn’t have to remove the unauthorized charge and also slightly reducing the charge. Services was 11/21/19.

The G and S crew were fantastic! Friendly and willing to answer all my nit-picky questions. They did the job in 92-degree weather and still did a very thorough job. The office staff was friendly and professional, as well. Ill use them again!

Just an update to my previous review.I filed a small claims suit and judgement was awarded to me in the amount of $1,306.00 Geoffrey Shaule, G&S owner, has defaulted on the payment. However, he will be served with a request for garnishment. Perhaps he will follow the rule of law and pay.

I made an appointment one month ago to have my gutters cleaned for the end of the month. Company said they would be out sometime the week of the appointment. I waited all week. NEVER called, never showed. I call the next week and asked why they didnt show. The quote was: there backed up because of weather. (The weather has been great?) They Would MAYBE get to me sometime next week or the week after. So I guess all the people ahead of me made an appt. well over a month ago? I dont thing so. I called another company they came out right away gutters are cleaned now. You lost a long term customer.

I had them out today. They did amazing job of cleaning the windows and the gutters! Then they went ahead and cleaned up all of the mess .I highly recommend them and will definitely use them often. Their prices are extremely reasonable as well!

I sent an email to G&S in the morning, asking if they could clean my gutters. They called back immediately, and the gutters were cleaned that same afternoon!

I am extremely disappointed with their customer service. I had hired this company to clean my gutters earlier this Spring. Two months later a piece of the gutter had fallen off our roof. I called them to see if they could come back to fix this, but they said they would charge me a $75 service charge plus labor to do as it had been a long time. I was very disappointed with their response.They had already disappointed me many times before this last time. They were supposed to clean the gutters in the Fall, but were unable to do so and then had to wait until Spring. They also would not honor any discounts once expired, even by one day! They never call their current customers with specials. All in all, I would recommend going elsewhere for gutter cleaning and window washing.By the way I was easily able to find another company to come out and fix the gutter piece without charging me a service fee and was extremely reasonable.

Called in for a quote and was scheduled for service and then had to call again to cancel the service. After two months I receive a bill for a service that is not given. After numerous calls received a notice letter informing I will be reported to credit bureau if I dont pay... Manager was very adamant and rude, did not even offer any kind of help to resolve my issue. Its been two months I requested for but no response so far... Paid 200+ dollars for a lot stress.

I tried to find employment at this establishment and the interview was the worst interview I have ever experienced. The manager (Brittany) and owner (Geoffrey Shaule) that interviewed me where very combative and unprofessional. I was shocked to even be offered the position after leaving. Which I declined. How a business treats it’s potential employees is a strong reflection of their character and I would be wary of doing business with a company like this. Below is the exact email response to the offer letter.“Brittany,I was surprised to receive an offer letter given the atmosphere of judgment and scorn that permeated the interview. Within 5 minutes of the interview beginning I was called a liar and given a pseudoscientific analysis of my personality type based on two questions I answered. I wouldn’t expect this from a stranger I met on the street and certainly not from a potential employer. The most basic level of common courtesy was disregarded almost as soon as I walked in the door. Before Geoffrey even entered the room, I was warned about how blunt he is and told he would probably come into the room and ruin the atmosphere. Not a good setup for a first impression of someone.I would have hoped to be treated with a little more decorum by an owner trying to expand his business but I was sorely mistaken. Geoffrey, the most polite interaction we had was the greeting. I understand the desire to learn about a potential employee but with such a combative and judgmental attitude you wont learn much of worth. With your interest in self help books I suggest you look up Dale Carnegie How to Win Friends and Influence People. You might be interested to know that most self help books are written with little, to no empirical evidence but I found this one useful when I read it.So, even though I am in dire need of a job I have to decline your offer. Got on their regular cleaning schedule and looking forward to having a cleaner house from now on so I dont have to do it on the weekends. In is the middle of winter and we had a party. I called to have my windows cleaned and was thrilled that they were able to fit me in on short notice. The guys were very professional and preformed a detailed job.

Have been an 8 yr customer and moved did not receive any promotional information. Called to request an estimate. Two days later the estimate was delivered yet when I called the next day to book the appointment G & S would not honor the spring discount because I it had expired 2 days prior. Would have been nice if they had informed their return customers they had a deadline.When speaking with the Manager she would not consider it. Called owner, still no return call.

I have been in property management for over 17 years and G & S Window Washing and Gutter Cleaning is my go to gutter cleaning company for professionalism, reliability, responsiveness, workmanship and overall satisfaction.

They showed up on time - took extra care when working in the house around furniture and knick-knacks. the work was done professionally and we are very satisfied with the results.

DO NOT HIRE THEM!!! They want to do the work when you are NOT HOME, they dont call or respond, and OVERPRICED!! Seems to be a very shady business if they dont even want you to be home when the work is being done, then they stated that the quoted price would most likely go UP! Seems incredibly fishy to me!

Avoid this company at all cost, they will cost you 10x more in the long run than you paid for their gutter cleaning service. I am assuming that you have have a $1k deductible on your homeowners insurance. They hire young kids to come clean out your gutters with little knowledge of the problems that a clogged gutter can cause. I had G&S clean my gutters late last year (well after all leaves and debris had fallen). Over the winter, an ice dam formed in the area where a short piece of downspout is. As the weather warmed this April and the ice melted, it resulted in water leaking into the garage requiring roof and drywall repairs being necessary via an insurance claim. As the roofers were fixing the damage, the piece of downspout was removed and they showed me that it was completely full of leaves and debris. A bulk of the material inside the gutter was composting, indicating that they were not fresh leaves, but those left from a previous season.G&S indicated that all downspouts would be clear and free-flowing after their cleaning, but it was pretty obvious to me that this was not the case. I emailed this information directly to the company a couple of weeks ago to get their thoughts on the matter, but have yet to receive any response. They did send me a postcard last week reminding me that it was time to have my gutters cleaned again though!Update: I see that the company replied. They indicated as we told you in their reply. They never told me anything... they did not call or email me at all after I contacted them.

Last year, I hired them to clean Windows and Gutter. They cleaned the windows but left some dirty areas outside of windows. For house gutter they gave me an estimate based on running square footage but the only clean approximately 25-30 feet gutter. The technician told me that the checked some areas of gutter by running water through gutters and they are working. The gutters clogged in 1-2 months. Do not hire this company.

Horrible customer service!!! Requested gutters to be cleaned in Novemeber and they did not show up until almost February with out even giving us enough notice to tell them we had already cleaned the gutters out ourselves 3 times since November. We have a very wooded lot and could not wait. Charged us $150 for a job we already did ourselves. Talked to Brittney who has horrible customer service skills and she told us that they had to recoup charges to make up for a crew of three that they sent out--TO DO NOTHING!!! Im sure those guys had a piece of cake day--getting paid to clean already cleaned gutters! You would think that they would notice that there was no leaves in the gutters but leaves on top of the fresh snow -- almost as if someone HAD JUST CLEANED THE GUTTERS!!! Brittney also told me Its not my fault that it froze and we couldnt clean the gutters out until February! If we could manage to clean our gutters 3 times when it warmed up, the sun came out and there was a thaw--then your company could have. I was going to let all of this go if they took care of the bill but they insisted we needed to pay for this job that was already done.Its a shame that they dont see the long term results of loosing customers over poor customer service. I would have continued to use their service and give them a pass but this is unacceptable.Since I am complaing about them--last summer we had our windows washed and screens cleaned. They removed a screen and could not figure out how to put it back in so we had to get on the ladder and do it for them. Brushed this incident off but I so certainly not paying to have them clean gutters that are already clean!!!!Pick another company!!!!

We just had our gutters cleaned last week by their workers.  The team was fast but did a great job.  I was worried they forgot about me, but they kept in touch as promised.  I didnt even need to be home. I live in a forest and its not easy!  I highly recommend their staff - great customer service.

Derrick and James were the crew who came out yesterday to clean my gutters and windows. They were on time, did a great job, and cleaned up before leaving. Highly recommended.

Window cleaning was okay, but they didnt bring the right equipment to clean all windows and had to come back. Also scrapped the hell out of a few of my window sills. They offered to fix it but its been 3 months since service and still not fixed. I was the one that has to reach out for updates too. Will not use them again.

Came home to a flower pot stepped on and debris all over the front porch. Took pictures and sent to them. Management said they spoke with the crew and denied damaging my flowers. Apologized for the debris not fully cleaned up. Was offered no discount or anything. Unacceptable in my opinion. (updated 7-26-17...... Received discount off invoice, paid in full.)
