I am so happy I chose The Carpet Guys! From the beginning it was a great experience (my first time buying new carpet!). The salesman Robert was amazing. He answered all my questions and helped me weigh all my options. Gus and his partner came out today to install the master bedroom carpet and I couldnt be more pleased with their work! Gus even went above and beyond taking my old dressed to the street for me! Thank you guys so much, I appreciate it! Haha, like they say a picture is worth a thousand words!

I was very pleased with my entire experience with the carpet guys. I first heard about them on a radio commercial while driving home and thought I’d give them a try to install some new carpet in my living room and hallway. After talking with John K one of their salesman who came out and brought a wide variety of samples I settled in a pattern and waited for installation. Now be for warned that although their website did show next day installation that may be only for certain products at this time but with Covid-19 still a thing and other economic factors at the time of this review it was about a month later before the carpet guys came out and installed the actual product, but they were honest and told me this upfront before I signed my contract so I wasn’t left in the dark.Between the salesman and When installation day finally arrived, I was able to call their customer line to have any of my questions answered as well as make payments on my bill so when the day finally came to install the carpet my bill was paid in full.The day arrived and the installer calls me to tell me he’s 20 minutes away and sure enough 20 minutes later Jose G arrived to begin the job. Jose G was professional and friendly and I was shocked that it was only him to show up and complete the job, but the man knows his carpet and knows how to get the job done. While he was taking out the old carpet Jose was very pointnant on making sure no left over staples or old carpet debris was left behind so my child didn’t accidentally pickup anything. The job from start to finish took him around 3 hours and with that I had a whole new living room!Jose was a pleasure dealing with and the whole experience with the Carpet guys from start to finish was refreshing to again feel like a customer who was valued not just on their checkbook but as a person in general. I’ll be honest, I was a little Leary with just the amount of money the project was going to cost but after seeing the finished product, it’s worth every penny and I would be more than happy to work with them again. If your looking to support a local business, don’t hesitate. I wouldn’t have sat down to write this long detailed review if I didn’t feel like they deserved some good recognition from start to finish. Thanks carpet guys, keep on putting out those great radio commercials.

I had amazing installation from 3 amazing men Sergio, George, and Gilbert. They were very punctual, polite, professional, fun and hard-working. I highly recommend them if you were getting carpet from the carpet guys my sales representative Robert was amazing also. There was a small problem with the installation of my carpeting once Sergio heard of my problemHe and his crew arrived at my house the next day at 9 AM. After very careful consideration and how to solve the problem it was handled and my carpet was back to normal. They were amazing

I truly enjoyed the experience from beginning to end. Tyler was our salesman and he made us feel very relaxed from the moment he entered our home.He was very knowledgeable of the product, shared with us his experience as once being an installer himself, and his transition to sales. we had originally chose to do business with another company and told him we wished we could do business with the Carpet Guys.We ultimately declined the other deal, and chose to go with the carpet guys, and it was the best decision. Would definitely do business with them again. The installation was great, but they were late, but full disclosure, they had copied the wrong number on the order and the installers called promptly as they promised, it was just to another person...Lol.Great experience :-)

From start to finish my experience with the carpet guys was great! Starting with the sales rep Tyler who arrived promptly. I quickly informed him that I was visually impaired, he proceeded to show me my different options in great detail from cost to color schemes and what would work best in my home. Making my selection so easy and enjoyable. I appreciate it getting a notification that my installation could be done a week sooner. And lastly the morning of the installation guys called to give me an estimated time of arrival, they were so timely never had to wait. Both David and oracio work diligently and efficiently at moving my Furniture, the removal of my old carpet and installing my new carpet and putting my furniture back in place. I highly recommend the carpet guys, the whole process is so friendly and unbelievably easy!

UPDATE : SEE ADDITIONAL PHOTOS A PICTURE IS WORTH 1000 WORDS....Sales guy was the best, went above and beyond. Chose a gray color from a sample board. However, the carpet that was installed didnt match the color sample I chose. The sample square was gray, chose it from my livingroom. Carpet installed in that same room I viewed the sample in is BLUE. My sales guy even came back out to take pics to compare. He sent pictures to his manager. I get a call a few days later stating they looked at the roll in stock and compared it to the sample and it was the same..... hmmmm. The only option they had to make it right was to charge me TWO THOUSAND MORE DOLLARS to install different carpet..... WOW!!

To start with, the salesman who came out to the house with samples, was a knowledgeable, polite, and friendly young man. He gave us a very reasonable quote and a realistic date for the installation. Then we got a call a couple days later saying they had an opening for the following day if wed prefer that. We agreed and the next day the 2 installers showed up on time and went right to work. Joe and Sam were very professional and quickly moved all our furniture, removed all our old carpeting and padding, and installed our new carpeting. They did a beautiful job, moved our furniture back, vacuumed, cleaned and hauled away all the old carpeting and padding. Unlike most carpet installation companies, Carpet Guys does not charge extra for moving furniture, and have a Lifetime Installation warranty on their work. Recommend Carpet Guys to anyone looking to install flooring in their homes. Dont usually take the time to write reviews, but thats how impressed I am with this company.

From the sales person, Dan who was great help in selecting the perfect carpet to Joel and his crew who did the installation, the experience was effortless. The installers were meticulous with the installation and so careful moving the items we had in the room. From the first call scheduling to the final call confirming that we were happy, Carpet Guys was responsive and on top of the process. I didnt think that carpet could make such a difference in our room but it did! The whole area is just more welcoming and we will now use the room so much more often. I would highly recommend the team at Carpet Guys!

Bought a house and I am redoing each of the bedrooms. Highly recommend The Carpet Guys and Chad as the sales consultant. He was thorough and showed us every possible option for what we were looking for. He also showed the positives of each of the different materials of flooring so we could best decide which would work for us. Josh L. was who installed the flooring and it turned out perfect with absolutely no flaws. He was quick, detail oriented, friendly, cleaned up perfectly, and was even able to accommodate a few special requests that I had for the installation. I highly recommend this company and their staff and will return for future projects.

I would definitely recommend The Carpet Guys for their professionalism and care. Antoni was very knowledgeable about the products and made me feel confident about my selections. On installation day, Gus was very polite and went above and beyond to make sure my job was quick and done right. Im very happy with the results and will use them again no question. UPDATE: Changed my review from 1 star to 4 stars ... Roxanne and Jerry came back to my home today and did an AMAZING JOB repairing the damage, scratches, marks in the wood. Yes, in a perfect world, one would want this to NOT happen in the first place, however, CUSTOMER SERVICE is about the follow-up and follow-through - which I cannot thank Roxanne and Jerry enough! THANK YOU!If I could give a NEGATIVE STAR I would! Carpet installation completely RUINED our staircase! Thankfully I took a picture after the old carpet was ripped off but before the new carpet was installed and you can CLEARLY see there is NO DAMAGE to stairs. However, once the installation was complete and we started to dust, vacuum and clean up, all of this is what we found! HORRIFIED at the amount of money we spent only to have our beautiful staircase ruined!

I really wish I could leave a better review. I truly want to leave a better review, but unfortunately this is not the case.When shopping they were not the cheapest, but I went with them based on reputation.With all the issues that I had, they did try to attempt to address them, but not to the level that I would expect.A couple of examples;1. Created such a mess outside my home with the piles of garbage that the city issued me a ticket for $500. TCG did call the city and work with them to get it addressed, but my needless to say my neighbors were not happy.2. I tried to get a quote for them to do additional work for me. It took them 3-4 weeks to come out to quote the job. I asked for the quote 3-4 times after they were here. To date, I still do not have the quote I requested. Good thing I didnt get it and have them do more work.3. With all the issues that I had, I requested to speak with the owner. I was told the owner does not speak with the customers. I was blown back by that answer. Not even a call from a manager.4. My sales guy stopped by to look at the work that was done and just stood there and shook his head.5. I sent the attached photos of the molding and I was told that a head engineer was coming out to review the situation. Scheduled the time, made sure I was home and the day came and went with a no call and no show. TCG issued me a small check to refund the installation and materials.6. This is the second attempt to install the molding. The first time they installed shoe molding and I had them remove it and install the 1/4 round that I paid for. If I didnt notice the difference I would have been charged for the more expensive material and had the cheap materials installed.7. as you can see from the pics, when they installed the floor they beat up the ends and they are now peeling. Some of the seems I was told were for expansion have never expanded.8. The molding is coming off the walls and the installation job as you can see from the pics speaks for itself.9. They set up table saws in the middle of the house instead of outside and just was in every room. To the point, the house needed to be professionally cleaned to remove all the dust from the vents and from the various rooms in the house. The front door was less than 10 feet way from where they were working and in the same room.10. My sales guy ordered an additional 4 boxes that I paid for and are non-returnable. I was told it was just in case. I can see one box, but 4???? Waste of money that now sits in the attic.As I said previously, I really wanted this to work out. Several of my neighbors waited to see my job completed and if they liked it would have gone with TCG, but instead went with Empire and someone else. Workmanship goes a long way.As mentioned before, they did try or at least attempt (poor attempt) to some what fix things, but the level of customer service received is what I would expect by a fly by night hack company, not one as large as the carpet guys.I hope that everyone else has a better experience that I did and from the reviews it appears that my situation is an anomaly. Spending the money that I did leaves a very bad taste in my mouth and to date I have to continue to look at the shoddy installation work that was performed. Furthermore, I have been told by other installers that in order to correct the chips and gaps, the floor needs to be pulled up.I wish them the best as I want to see a local company continue to grow and I always support local, but I also need to let everyone know where my installation and the quality of the install stands.

From Daniel coming out to meet me and get the order done smoothly, to Edwin and his partner who did a great install job these guys were perfect in providing service that I needed. They were able to install the job within my time limits and I greatly appreciate their ability to deliver, over other companies who could not come close to meeting my install schedule. Id highly recommend them if you need carpeting fastest!

Brian D was our salesman. He came on time, listened to our needs, and provided the product we needed for the floors. He stayed in contact through the whole process. Would recommend Brian for any flooring needs. Gus was our installer. He was very prompt and meticulous with his work. Gus kept me informed and asked for my input on every step that needed attention. Our sales guy was Matt and he did an excellent job. He listened to what we needed and didnt try to sell us something we didnt want. He was professional and awesome to work with. Our installers were Edwin and his partner. They worked quickly and were professional. And I was surprised to find out they cleaned up everything - which has not been our experience in the past with other carpet places. The carpet looks fantastic and I would use and highly recommend The Carpet Guys again!

I had an outstanding experience using the carpet guys. First of all, it was such a relief not to have to drag my baby out to a showroom- they came out to us. Our salesman, Anis, was kind, personable, and prompt. I felt like he didnt try to oversell me at all. He gave a fair and accurate representation of the products. I appreciate how quick, easy, and affordable it was. Our installer, Martin, was also a joy. Towards the end of the process he noticed I put my daughter down for a nap. Rather than proceed with the vacuum, he asked first to ensure he didnt wake her up. It was so kind of him. I would definitely recommend the carpet guys for their professionalism, affordability, and ease of service.

My experience with this team was fantastic. This team is what makes a business great!! Sam worked with me in every way they could. I have a 94 year old father, I needed to have the hallway done so he could get up in the middle of the night without harm. They really surprised me and stayed here until the job was finished.They kept up with all the cleaning nothing in the way for my dad when he needed to use the restroom couldnt ask for more. We had new carpeting installed in 3 rooms in the house as well as the stairwell to the basement. From the initial sales consultation with Joe to the installation performed by Sergios team, everything was professional and perfect! Once I made a deposit an installation date was set. The date was met, and the new carpet is like walking on a cloud... Love to walk on it with stocking feet. The installers were incredibly careful in the house and cleaned up everything. Cannot say enough good things about these great professionals! Thank you for a fantastic experience, and for my beautiful new carpet.

Our new floors and carpet were installed this week and we are through the roof with how amazing it all went. Matt J was our sales person and he was such a great help throughout the process. Just days before the install we were having some issues and him and the customer service team did everything to make sure it all worked out. Scott who did our laminate was extremely knowledgeable and talked us the whole way through it. Even things that I thought that were going to be hard to work around he did and exceeded my expectations. We also had Edgar come out and do our carpets. He was kind, fast and worked with no breaks even though he could. We are just so happy from start to finish and now we can enjoy our beautiful new floors. Thank you 😊

The entire experience was amazing. From the start with my salesperson, Nick, to the installation headed up by Rudy was super easy. I absolutely love the carpet I selected. If I had to change one thing, it would have been for them to start early on the day they came. It ended up going into the second day because of my staircase. It was known that it was going to be quite an undertaking. We managed through it and the work is beautiful. Thank you for delivering what was promised.

This is something I dont take lightly, so I am hesitant to do this, but at this point, I feel I dont have any choice left. About 5 weeks ago, a sales representative came to our home and gave an estimate for what I thought was 3 rooms of carpet, as well as a staircase, and a hallway. We purchased the carpet, and had to wait 3 weeks for installation, so please be advised, you can forget the next day installation you see on the website. On the day the carpet was supposed to be installed, I received a call, and was told there would be no installation that day because the installer was ill. Ordinarily, this wouldnt be a problem, except I had taken the day off, and that costs me money. Left with no choice, I rescheduled for 2 days later, and asked my girlfriend to cover the morning hours, and I would cover the afternoon by leaving work early, therefore, more money lost. Meanwhile, the house had been in disarray in preparation for the installation, and closet doors had been removed, and so on. The installers showed up around 12:30 that day, but when they looked at the rooms that were to be carpeted, he told me that the master bedroom, which is one of the two main rooms on the first floor, was not included. The other room is the living room on the first floor. This is really the whole purpose of getting new carpet. I was obviously upset, and proceeded to call the salesman. After a few calls and texts, I was able to get ahold of him, and to my surprise, he also told me that it wasnt included. At this point, I was very angry, and told him that I wanted to cancel the entire order. He begged me to have the other rooms carpeted, and we would deal with the bedroom at another time. He also told me if I canceled the order, that they would charge me a 25% restocking fee, as I had given them a $1000.00 deposit. Needless to say, I never got the carpet installed, and they still have my 1000.00, and I havent heard a word from anyone since that day. I think their hope is that, given enough time, I will just go away, and forget about my money. I am forever disappointed in the carpet guys, and I truly hope no one else has to go through what we have been through. I promise I will not let this go!!I emplore the carpet guys to do the right thing!Sincerely,Anthony Hensley

I know it was not his job but he sense I was having a tough time at work those few days but he always would put a smile on my face and even got me to laugh. Nick my floor looks amazing!!!! We just had carpeting installed in our three bedrooms and the closets. Josh L. and Aidan did a great job and we are very happy with the results. They arrived on time and worked as a team to get the job done. I would definitely recommend this place for your flooring needs.

I cant be happier with the carpet purchased, how it was installed, and how it looks. Great purchase! My only regret is you guys dont do manufactured faux tiles, too...

I Had a minor dilemma with a scheduling conflict and the carpet guys (and the installer Gus) accommodated me at my next convenience. Gus was a pleasure to work with. Before any final layouts Gus made sure to check with me before any finalization. The carpet is beautiful and well worth the wait!

We worked with John Kohler for our purchase after being quoted by 4 other places and not only did his offer blow all others out of the water in terms of price and services included, but he was by far the best person we met. I would dare to even say the sales meeting was fun!We got beautiful great quality grey carpet for our entire house and the install crew did it all in one day while interfering with me and my 2 crazy daughters as little as possible.From start to finish, they were the best company we have ever worked with on a home improvement/repair.

We had carpet ripped out of our basement and new carpet installed and everything looks fantastic! Jose even walked me through what they did and made sure I was happy before he and his team left.We received a couple different quotes to carpet our basement and the carpet guys came in at the best value with tons included such as moving furniture, tearing out existing carpet and transition plates. Their selection was great and the sales guy even walked us through how the color would look in a basement with fluorescent light.

They came in and went to work right away moving furniture and prepping for our new carpet. We just had the carpet guys install our bedroom carpet. I’m not sure how anyone else feels about this but having them come out to us was amazing. Honestly, I get super overwhelmed with all of the choices walking into a store. Our sales guy was John and he was awesome! I like that he was able to come in and see the paint color and other flooring and help us find a great match for carpet. I thought for sure they would be double or triple the other guys because of this service but they were actually the cheapest quote. We were able to pick our carpet that day, get the quote, and set our date for installation. They also offered moving furniture for free which every other company I spoke to charged for (I still moved my own furniture). The day of carpet installation Daniel and his team were in and out with the new carpet in about an hour. It was a really great experience overall! Even the dogs like it (also, we have already had a dog accident on the carpet and it cleaned up very nicely)!

We hired The Carpet Guys crew for carpeting a few years ago, and this time we called them to remove our old kitchen floor and install new planking. From office staff to sales people, the warehouse team to our AMAZING installers (Josh/Becky/Jeremy/Brett). Friendly and helpful barely scratch the surface of their personal fortitude and professionalism. Highly recommend.

What a great way to buy carpet, from home! Nick T. took all the stress out of carpet selection at a carpet store or big box retailer. He came back a second time to meet with us and finalize matters. Installer Martin and his helper where fantastic, from moving furniture to removing all old pad and carpeting to finishing up the job in a most professional way. The stairs look like a tuck and roll and look so much better than the previous installation. Thanks again to the Carpet Guys! They will be our first call for future carpet needs.

The Carpet Guys (and gals) are amazing. I felt comfortable through the entire process and we are so happy with our new flooring; feels like we have a whole new house!

So I had a nice sales guy come in and sell me some carpet. I went with this company as they insured I would have my install done prior to my move in date (I paid extra compared to their competitor because of the Guarantee install date). The weekend after I purchased the install I was told I would receive a call that weekend with a time. I did receive a call on Saturday and was told the installer would call me before the end of the weekend. I did not get a call so I called Sunday afternoon and spoke with Justin who informed me that the installers get their schedules first thing in the morning and I would receive a call in the am. Call never came so I called again around 3 pm and then was informed the installer only calls when they are 30 minutes out (at this point the whole day is wasted). 2 pm arrives of install day and what do you know the installer calls. He tells me he will be there at 4. I go the house about 30 minutes away and kick all the contractors out. I get another call from the installer at 4:15 telling me he will now not be here until 5:30. Now I’m frustrated and call carpet guys again and speak with Justin. He apologizes and tells me he misspoke. Things happen so ok I get it but I would like to speak with a manager. He said he would have his manager Roxanne call me back (Shocker as she never did). It’s now almost 6:15 and installer has not shown up. Here I am wasting money on contractors and I have movers scheduled first thing tomorrow morning. What a fail carpet guys. The carpet was a big piece to this puzzle as I’m a single dad with two young sons trying to have the home ready for them. Very unprofessional. I would not be able to recommend you to my clients, friends, or family and I am in the real estate businessUPDATE 2/25/2021.I must say how impressed I am with the way this company turned this around and made things right. Joe (owner) responded the evening of the incident and then I received a call from Roxanne the next morning. From this point on the communication was on point. The installation looks great. We had an issue with the installer cracking my base board however Roxanne made sure she had someone out to fix it. Way to go Carpet Guys. This is the way to do business and make things right. Not a customer, but they sent a nice gentleman by the name of Nigel door to door advertising. He was extremely polite. When I indicated that I was not interested, he simply told me to have a nice day and left a brochure. I will definitely be calling The Carpet Guys for an estimate the next time I need carpet work done - it is obvious they are professional and courteous.

I had carpet installed in my basement and stairs, I was told the stairs and the small spaces would be carpeted. They weren’t. They installers covered a drain and I asked them not too. 2750 for 500 square feet is excessive and the installers weren’t professional. I wouldn’t recommend them.

Mazin - our sales rep was wonderful to work with - we have a hard time getting a company to get the work done in our space with a quick turn around time and he helped make it happen! Isael was our installer and worked quickly - getting the job done in under an hour. He was also super polite and punctual!

I did all of my homework and had several vendors come out, measure and provide pricing. During a competitors by one room get all remaining rooms for $50 promotion, The Carpet Guys came out, they were timely and beat the competitions price significantly. When the competitor contacted me, they attempted to match the price of The Carpet Guys after telling me the carpet is not the same. Pretty much the same carpet but definitely the same pattern. My salesman Tyler W. was awesome and he advocated for me as well. I had a flawless installation and will be requesting the same crew for my next project. Amador and his crew did an amazing job with a somewhat complicated installation.

Im so glad I went with the carpet guys. They did a great job and took care of my needs while staying within my budget.My salesperson, Tyler, was so polite and professional when he came over to my house. I wasnt really sure what I wanted, so I had a lot of questions and kept changing my mind. But he was really nice about answering all of my questions and was very patient. I found a carpet that I enjoyed the look of that also fit my budget nicely. He measured the whole area and get me set up with financing in no time. The installer, Edwin, was great too! They showed up on time, got the job done in a reasonable amount of time, and did great work. Im really happy with how the final product turned out!

We had a very positive experience with The Carpet Guys. Blake visited our home and was very helpful and patient as we looked at options for our basement renovation -- he wasnt pushy or overbearing in just trying to close the sale. Ultimately, we worked out a deal with them on our project and scheduled for a few weeks out. We were notified 24 hours ahead of time, the installers Jose G and Francisco started early and did a fantastic job. We are thrilled with the quality and finish. I had carpet and laminate installed by The Carpet Guys. Josh did the laminate and did a GREAT job. I believe he went above and beyond what was actually required of him and his partner, Mike. Jose did the carpet. He was done with the entire job in such a short time (I had a small space carpeted) that I hardly knew they were here. Both installers were on time and were great!

I highly recommend these guys! I wish I could give them ten stars!Right from the first visit with the sales team, everyone was knowledgeable, and offered great advice as we were not sure how the carpet on the stairs would look. They actually changed my mind on the carpet that my heart was set on because it had a floral type print. Im so happy he pointed out that it may be a little much for such a small space, we went with his recommendation and couldnt be more pleased!!! In hindsight, he was right on!!We were very concerned about our carpet being installed in time for a family event. Jerry, our installer, went ABOVE & BEYOND to make that happen for us!! Jerry was pleasant, knowledgeable, he gave me his advice on how the carpet on the stairs should flow and be transitioned, he actually came to the house with the carpet before it was bound and laid it out different ways to see what looks best! The carpet is beautiful, the installation was perfect! Jerry kept me up to date on all the timing, (waiting for the carpet to be bound), he made this experience perfect!!!We had an estimate from HD before we called Carpet Guys, the guy they sent out for the measure didnt even have a tape measure! Their quote was $300 more than the carpet guys!!My advice to anyone considering this company, CALL THEM, they are excellent!! Then, ask for JERRY to install, you will not be disappointed!

The installer Gus was fast, efficient, polite, and amazing. My job was so huge I thought it would take two days....but Gus knocked it out and left my house beautiful clean and tidy in less than one day. I am so pleased with the product and the Job Gus did. I recommend this Carpet Guys to anyone who wants a change and a great Job.

What can i say I LOVE MY CARPET the (2) men who came to my home was amazing, they did an amazing job, took care of everything, wrapped up my old carpet and took it out to the curb, rolled up my left over carpet and placed it right where I had asked them, the were extremely professional and respectful, nice as can be - I will be calling again soon to have them come out and do my stairs - I was suppose to leave a name, I think his name was Aaron, or Ewin - I am not sure for the administration please look up my name, my appointment was on July 10th, in Southfield - I want to make sure the right team gets the credit for their amazing job - I would recommend Carpet Guys, absolutely - VERY HAPPY CUSTOMER :)

First off, our sales person Dan, was entirely professional. He took the time to answer our questions and explained the process thoroughly. Further, his quoted price was the price, even after my wife and I made some changes to our original requests. Like I said, utterly professional. Second, our installer Edwin, was on time, organized, fast and clean. The basement was more organized after he left! Edwin took on our requests to move furniture with aplomb and made a possibility disruptive process so much easier to get through due to his professionalism and expertise. Id recommend the Carpet Guys to all my friends and family without any reservation.

The sales rep John k was amazing making sure we got what we wanted. He was very friendly and knowledgeable about everything. Caesar and his teammate did an awesome job installing my carpet probably a little annoyed with my 4 yr old running around but they definitely didn’t show it lol. I am completely satisfied with my experience using The Carpet Guys. I needed to get the carpeting replaced in the basement, they set up an immediate appointment for me, their salesman John came out who was super friendly and informative. I was able to select the carpet right there while John measured everything. He answered all my questions was super helpful, made it an easy choice to use The Carpet Guys for my flooring needs and they were able to set up my install date within a few weeks.Jose G. arrived on time and was super helpful. I needed his assistance to fix something on the back of the stairs as the risers were coming loose and he handled for me. Genuinely felt he went over and above with helping me get it secure so the carpet could properly be installed on the stairs. He did a great job, cleaned up everything and my carpet looks great.Would highly recommend The Carpet Guys for any of your flooring needs and I would definitely use them again.

I read a lot of reviews about being pressured into a sale and find it hard to believe after my experience. This has been one of the best experiences I have had with a flooring company. The quote that I was given was actually under what I had estimated and then the salesman was able to lower it more.I am a perfectionist when it comes to work done around my home and was a little concerned with the install and quality of work. But, the installers quickly erased any concerns I had. They showed up on time, worked quickly and were very attentive to every detail and concern I had. They did a great job of cleaning up after themselves. I am extremely pleased with my experience and I will use The Carpet Guys again for future projects.

The sales associate showed us different carpeting for our needs and did not try to upsell us. The installer, Yoni, was kind, professional and he and his crew were fast and did a great job with the installation.

We had a wonderful experience with John during our initial in home consult. He was knowledgeable, honest and respectful. He helped us narrow down and ultimately select the best carpet for the rooms we needed and took the steps necessary to make us feel safe during this crazy time. On installation day, Freddy and his crew arrived masked and ready to work. They tore out the old and installed the new in a safe way. The rooms were put back together and their mess cleaned up. We were thoroughly impressed with our experience, the quality of the install and the end result is plush and beautiful!

We had carpet installed in 2 bedrooms and the entire experience was very easy. We received a great price, had the carpet installed (by Raphael) very quickly and flawlessly, and the staff was always very friendly! Jonathan was very professional as well during our consultation and made us feel really comfortable with the decision (after a lot of indecision lol). 10/10 would recommend for anyone looking to get carpet installed.

I had called the carpet guys out to give my a price on vinyl flooring for my hole house Mazin came out took great care of us and he got me a great price. When the installer came out he said there was a problem and I couldnt have this done.. and turned us over to Dale the sales Manger took very good care of us. After there were a problem with the first. Project. He made sure we were happy . Brad the installation man for the second Project was great . Very knowledgeable and very skilled. I love my new kitchen floor. Looks beautiful. Would definitely have the carpet guys do another project. Our sales woman Lisa was excellent, she took alot of time to explain all the carpet choices and padding as well, we were not rushed at all and got a high end carpet for a great price! We have always done all our own home repairs and renovations but carpet was just one thing we did not want to tackle. After much research we scheduled a consultation with the carpet guys. From the first phone call with Kim P till the consultation with Tyler W. Im already impressed with the customer service we have received. Both employees were totally down to earth and professional. Tyler truly made the experience feel like we were buying from a close family friend, and we appreciated his insight since we are carpet newbies. We are looking forward to installation day!

They were really nice and they tried their best but the carpet is just bad. I had their brand new carpet installed in March 2020 it wrinkled up only a few months later. They tried to flatten it out but now it’s wrinkling again. Barely made it through one year. I bought Empire for my basement in November and I haven’t had any problems yet.

I will start off by saying that we had carpet installed in our home approximately a year ago by The Carpet Guys and were so impressed that there was absolutely no question as to who we would call to finish the rest of the home . Unquestionably a 5 star experience, have recommended them to at least 6 friends.However, this second experience has been a nightmare from start to finish (and our job, 9 weeks later, still is not done).May 4th - first crew shows up to tear our and install the two rooms and stairs. The crew walks off the job, citing the carpet has stains (the carpet is at least 20 years old and is being replaced due to the stains that return even after professional carpet cleaners have been out) and that one of their installers has animal allergies.We scheduled another appointment that had to be moved due to a work emergency on our end. By this point, we have torn out the carpet in the bedroom that had stains, as the first crew requested.June 21st - Second crew (one guy) shows up. He installs the carpet in the large bedroom. Leaves, saying he has another appointment and something about our animals. Yes, we have cats and dogs, and live on a farm... The Carpet Guys should be aware of this based on their first crew walking off the job.I get a call to reschedule the remainder of the install. During this call, Im informed that they will not be removing the carpet from the stairs (which is included in our contract.) Schedule for June 24th around 10 am. My husband tears the carpet off the stairs.June 24th - the third crew calls me to tell me they will be here between 230 and 330. Perfect, thats close to the 10 am appointment I requested. They inform me that they will not move the bed or dresser (in the contract), so me (currently almost 8 months pregnant) and my son have to move the furniture. Crew shows up, nice guys. Installs the carpet in the nursery, and the top landing of the stairs. One crew member comes to get my from my office to inform me that they broke the bottom two steps of my staircase (One step is cracked, one they broke the entire nose off of). They ask me if I can fix it, which I obviously cannot with no notice and none of the materials to fix it. The installer then informs me (this is an exact quote) my lady is pregnant, shes not feeling any symptoms, but I am. Im extremely nauseous and light headed and informed me they would not be completing the job.June 25th - The office calls me and informs me that the steps were already broke and their crew told me as soon as they discovered it while pulling off the carpet. Which is an absolute lie - because they didnt tear the carpet off the stairs. Installation manager then hangs up on me. Calls me back approximately 20 mins later to inform me they have a field manager coming to our house today (thanks for the notice). Field manager shows up, inspects the stairs. He tries to claim that our stairs are old and cracked and they arent responsible for the damage. He then admits that the only steps that have any damage are the two that their crew admitted to breaking. Manager on the phone tells me they arent responsible for the damage, that our stairs are rotting, a squirrel could have stepped on that step and broken it, and WE need to hire a licensed contractor to fix our stairs (??????). My husband isnt a small guy. We have 4 rambunctious children. No steps ever broken. Field manager admits there is no rot, no damage, all he can point to is the nail that was used to join the stairs together. Manager on the phone starts getting even nastier than he already was, condescending, insulting, and tells me they arent finishing the job. They refuse to provide a refund, refuse to provide the name of their staff counsel, and refuse to give us the name of the subcontractors.So now we are stuck with exposed tack strips all the way up our stairs, a job completed 2/3 of the way, a baby coming very soon, and a company who doesnt have the decency to do the right thing for a veteran and first responder. Disgusting.

So, we have used them in the past, and they were great. Fast forward to now and its like working with a completely different company.I work as an first responder and as such I work a ton of hours, leaving me with not much time for extra side projects, so when the sales guy came out and looked at everything and got us set up with financing, it was great. It was in the contract that they would move furniture as necessary (a bed and 2 small dressers) and that they would tear up and haul away the old carpet. Sweet, a couple fewer tasks that I dont have to worry about right? Wrong...First crew they sent refused to remove the carpet and left within 15 minutes of arrival. Fine, I pull the carpet up during some time I had between shifts, pulled all the old tiny staples etc... second guy shows does just one room of 2 and stairs and leaves.Third times the charm right? Well not exactly... comes back out to do a small room and the stairs... calls the night before and tells my wife we have to remove the carpetting on the stairs... great. Cuz what I want to do after working a 24 hour shift and getting it in my contract that they would remove the carpet is remove the carpet myself. So, whatever, I pull the carpet up, yank the staples out, clean up the 40 years of dust and funk that accumulates under carpet, and get it ready for the new carpet to just be put down and into place.Im at work, wife is home with the kids waiting for the install. Guy gets there, does one bedroom, somehow manages to break the nose off of one stair and totally crack another. So we escalate the complaint up their customer service chain. One lady straight up hangs up on my wife, finally talk to someone, they send out a manager. Manager comes out, takes a look, cant determine when the crack was made, is doing his best to ensure the company is protected. The manager calls his boss, explains it to him, says all the other stairs are solid, and that he cant determine objectively when the crack happened, but that its possible it was their crew. Already long story shorter, we now have to pay out of our own pocket to replace or repair 2 stairs that prior to them arriving were in good shape... mind you, Im a 350lb 62 guy that goes up and down those stairs multiple times every day, and even after I had torn off the carpet they were contracted to remove... these guys suck, wont honor their contract and will leave you with the bill for anything they break, dont use them. Their financing is attractive, but this headache isnt worth it.

The Carpet Guys is a fantastic company and I can not praise them or recommend them enough. Initially we had Empire come out to give us a quote for carpet in a single 12x20 room because they had a 50% off installation and 50% off carpet sale going on. The estimate at HALF OFF was nearly $1700. Later that day we set up an estimate with The Carpet Guys, and Anis their salesman came out the next day. He was on time, incredibly friendly, and their estimate was significantly lower than Empire for the same style of carpet. We set an install date for the following week. Yoni, the installer, and the crew he had with him finished the room plus 3 stairs in less than 2 hours. The day before the install, I had repainted the room and baseboards. I thought for sure the baseboards would get all scuffed up from the installation, and my husband even made a point to mention that I shouldnt be upset if I had to touch them up after the installers left. Not a single scratch, scuff, or mark on the walls or baseboards from the installation. The carpet looks phenomenal. I am so happy we chose The Carpet Guys, and we will definitely be returning customers for any future floor needs. Top notch quality, awesome customer service.

Hello,Robert was our sales expert who sold us our carpet. He came to the home and didn’t mind all our initial questions at first about how he felt?, was he sick?, did he have a fever?, a cough?, he wore a mask the whole time even though we told him he didn’t have to. He was excellent in explaining all the options. He had multiple samples, colors, and different weights of the carpet. (I knew about the weight) He answered every question and was very professional while also very friendly and made us feel comfortable. We would welcome him back and recommend him as well. Thanks Robert!Edgar and his partner Brian were also very good. They also didn’t mind the same coronavirus questions at the door in the beginning. (We have an 85 year old sickly father at another home, and don’t want to take any illness to him) Anyway, Edgar and Brian were hard workers! They aimed to please. There was a piano in the back family room I had dismantled completely. There was the last piece I could not lift (The harp) it’s very heavy for mother and daughter to lift ) They only were required to move it to lay the carpet, but they took it outside and put it in the garage for me. What a great job...and a big relief for me. That’s above and beyond. They said it was no big deal but to me... it is a big deal!! The carpet looks excellent in every room. As they went along, if we had questions, they stopped working to answer them. They even vacuumed when they were all done. A full job completed. I highly recommend Edgar! Thank you.

He treated us like family and really impressed us with his demeanor, insight and professionalism. Our installers Joe Z., Julian and Sam were the awesome. We were told it would take 2 days to carpet our home. How long did it take these 3? Less than 6 hours! 4 bedrooms, 2 living rooms and the dining room! Joe Z. is very experienced, highly skilled and knows how to lead his team. We were in awe how well they worked together and knew exactly what was needed. I would hire them again in a second. We got several estimates to replace the carpeting in our living room, hallway and two bedrooms. The Carpet Guys gave us the best deal. The salesman, Tyler, was very helpful. Bringing the samples to the house really helps to pick out the right color for the room.. One the day of the install, our installer, Terry, was all by himself because his partner called in sick that morning. He was fantastic! He was there for 12 hours and worked nonstop. I tried to get him to stop for lunch and even offered him dinner, but he was on a mission to finish the job. And he did. What a beautiful job he did. I would recommend the Carpet Guys to anyone and I will call them again for future carpet needs. ( I also would request Tyler and Terry again)

Anis was our salesperson. He was prompt and made helpful suggestions with the carpet selection. The quality and price of the carpet we chose was top notch.Jose G. was our installer. We have used the carpet guys to re carpet our entire home (8 areas) multiple times. We have also referred a lot of business to them. They have nice carpet selections, and the installs are usually quick, and in the past we have also had good experiences... However, this is the last time we will use this company. I have dealt with very accommodating people from their office, and I’ve also had very rude ones who do not hide their attitudes. Most importantly, the installers we had today did not wear any face coverings, or shoe coverings, and we asked them 3 times to wear them. One did, the other did not. The amount of jobs these guys do, the amount of homes they go into, whatever they do in their personal life, during a GLOBAL pandemic, and no masks? I had to actually POSTPONE this install because I was told by a lady (won’t give her name here) that “12 of our 30 installers have covid.” Yet they aren’t protecting their customers while back in the field. Alarming and unhappy is an understatement.Be careful folks.
