The people at Peak Environment were fantastic. The site visit for purposes of planning and obtaining a quote was easily scheduled and timely. David was very professional. When I made the decision to go with them, the receptionist was able to get the crew in the very same day. The technicians who came evaluated the situation, and based on what a thorough and unhurried assessment, recommended a different course of action because of unexpected findings. The installation was done, and afterwards, they educated me about the mitigation system. I was very satisfied with the quality of the work. I highly recommend Peak Environment.

I truly cannot say enough great things about Peak Environment! We had multiple conversations with Dave on the phone because we have a unique home and a tight timeline to get a system installed. He was incredibly knowledgeable and patient each time my husband or myself had another question or scenario. We are selling our home and he sent us multiple quotes with options for us to send our buyers so they were happy with the system. The crew that came out was quick, friendly, and had some helpful tips for us when they finished. The quality of the install really shines through. The level of confidence everyone we interacted with from Peak speaks volumes on the quality of employees they have. I would highly recommend Peak Environment. Ive interacted with them twice - in 2017 and again this week. I was very pleased with their work in 2017 to install a radon mitigation system. They put in a high quality system and it has worked flawlessly since. I called them again yesterday after having a waterproofing system put in where the waterproofing company needed to remove my sump pit cover. I needed Peak Environment to re-seal it. They were able to come out today (in just under 24 hours after I called them) and re-sealed it in about 30 minutes. It looks great and the two-person crew was very professional and courteous during their visit. They also ensured the entire system was working properly after the pit was re-sealed and left a radon test kit with me so I can ensure we are still protected. Thank you Peak Environment!

We needed radon mitigation performed at our home. We contacted Peak Environment and they set up an appointment the following week for us! They were right on time, they were very professional, they were very friendly and helpful and the end product achieved the results we were looking for! Our radon level went from 8.9 down 2.7 in just a couple of days! Also, they installed the piping exactly where it needed to be!

I recently had radon mitigation work by Peak Environment. When researching decontamination, I found out about a scentless gas called Radon which was actually at elevated levels in my area (Royal Oak).I ordered my system on Peak Environments online platform which was MUCH easier than any of the other Radon mitigation companies. Previous homeowner had radon system installed by these guys. Was having issue with system and figured it would be worth a shot to see if they would come out and look at it. Called me back next day and came out probably an hour after that and had the issue sorted out before I left for work.That they would sort it out so efficiently even with a different homeowner says a lot.

Our system did not work properly and they did not stand behind their work. Make sure you don’t pay until you are sure all is working properly. There salesman only cares about the sale, great guy until you need him to help after the sale.

I contacted Peak Environmental and received an estimate for radon remediation, along with a choice of dates to have the work done. Later that same day, they contacted me and said they could not do the work because I was out of their service area. I would have appreciated if they would have told me that before they sent me an estimate and a choice of dates. However, what really upset me was that they provided my name and contact information to another company without my permission. Since it was a company I had already contacted, it was an embarrassing situation. When I let Peak know I did not appreciate their breach of confidentially, the never apologized or replied back.

Peak recently installed a radon mitigation system over my basement drainage sump. This quickly brought the basement radon levels (using my own meter) down from around 4 to around 0.50. Service, workmanship, and price (based on my research) were all excellent.

Dave and Nara are amazing to work with. Dave came out on a Saturday (a non-working day for them) reviewed my home and actually installed a system that was cheaper than the one I had requested because it was more appropriate for my home. Dave put doing the right thing over making a bigger profit. Because of that, I’ll be a customer for life. Nara is a pleasure to work with on the billing side. The installation team was fast, clean, and courteous. I can’t imagine a better experience. I highly recommend The Peak Environment team!

I had a Radon Mitigation System installed by this company. Very professional installation. Very knowledgeable crew.

We have the radon mitigation and vapor trac. It remotely monitors our radon system. When we moved in our radon level was over 20. Now we know it’s less than 1. We also feel protected because of the vapor trac!

I’d give 5 stars for the system itself as our radon level decreased from 5-6 pCi/L to around 1 pCi/L. The installer, Matt was professional and courteous and genuinely a nice guy. Matt also came out to my house live to give a quote which the other radon companies wouldn’t do.The 4 stars is because what was supposed to be a 1 day job turned into 3 days over the course of 3 weeks. The front desk person scheduled me for a Tuesday install but somehow it didn’t make it into the schedule and no one showed up. They did show up on the reschedule date but the order in their system was wrong and indicated exterior side of the house system instead of interior venting through roof system. This was an issue because they didn’t bring a roof “boot” to vent through the roof, which means they had to come back another day to finish.Also, one of the guys stepped through the dry wall ceiling in my garage leaving a hole. They replaced the dry wall but used a different thickness than my current ceiling so I’ll need to have someone else come out to fix it, mud it, and paint it. They did knock off $100 from my invoice (after I asked) to account for me having to hire out the repair.Next, when they came back out on Friday to install the boot there was fresh snow (no fault of theirs) and they couldn’t get on the roof. They told me they’d be back the following Monday or a Tuesday to install the roof boot and knock out the job. Well, no one showed up on Monday or Tuesday. After calling and texting them, Dave (the owner) called me and they came out the following Monday and finished up the job.Overall great system, nice people, but actually executing and getting the job done was frustrating.
