Our son passed away in February and we just now starting to talk about it. They did an such amazing job taking care of him and us. They had us informed of where he was at all times until he was delivered home to us. I know this is a time of sorrow and grieving but they helped us and they didnt put us into debt. ... Im not saying we wouldnt have payed anything for him to be back home but he was safe and home . Called us and delivered him home long after dark.

Comfort Cremation took great care of when my brother died. They took care of all the details including getting the death certificate and delivered his ashes to my home. I highly recommend them and intend to use them again.

This is a scam. Google the Tri-County cremations to learn all about O’Neil. They own both businesses and just got raided for how horrible the bodies were being treated. Now people are left without knowing where there cremated loved ones are that have already been cremated. He also is a felon and not supposed to be a funeral director or be in this business. They are crooks!

Although I was somewhat satisfied with my necklace that I order with my Sisters the picture on it. It was 1 month before receiving the necklace.I paid in full the next day of my death, which is the same day they pick up her body.I was very disappointed with the service and with how they communicate with the Customers.A lot of times Neal or Brianna did not answer my calls or give me answers (in my opinion) that made me feel like I was being “LIE” to.This company (again in my opinion) needs to take some “SERIOUS” courses(especially Brianna) on how to conduct a cremation business and how to better service public customers.

The loss of a mother is a difficult time. My mother’s wishes were easy to follow but with COVID this has caused some delays. Fortunately Diane at Comfort Cremation has keep us informed as we walked through this process. Thank you Diane for all your help.

I just wanted everyone to know DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE IT IS A SCAM. My sister died a few weeks ago, and we used this scam of a service. They are taking advantage of people during the WORST MOMENTS IN THEIR LIFE. My mother reached out to them and had them in charge of my sisters cremation. They sent her to the TRI COUNTY CREMATION in Ypsilanti which has been raided by the authorities last week. The phone number on their website literally directs you to the Ypsilanti location when you dial. We paid them money to prepare my sister for viewing before they were supposed to cremate her, she had fluids and blood coming out of her eyes, nose, mouth, ears etc. She was in the cardboard box with a sheet thrown over her. Straight out of a horror movie. Nobody was wearing PPE gear, the place reaked of death. ONeil who is running the operation and who lost his licensing back in 2020, was shoving necklaces and harrasing us for money AT THE TIME OF THE SHOWING. We called for days and days just to find out the place had been raided and now we have NO IDEA where my sisters body is or what happened with her remains. There are HUNDREDS OF OTHERS IN THE SAME BOAT. DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT USE THEM

They were very considerate. I didnt have to do anything--they took care of it all. Even delivered my husbands ashes to me.

My dear wife of almost 39 years unexpectedly passed away from the COVID19 virus just before Thanksgiving, 2020. She had turned 58 just 6 weeks earlier. Fortunately, we had discussed together her final wishes. I knew was that she preferred cremation over burial. I also knew that prices for cremation services varied widely. I went online and quickly found attractive prices at comfortcremationsnow.com.A few hours after my wifes death I was speaking with Neil. I was pleased at and comforted by the caring, professional manner in which Neil answered all my questions without any hesitation or evasion. He informed me in detail of the steps required, the options available to me and all the fees involved. Any question he was not 100% sure about, he informed me that specialist Diane would be able to confidently answer.The next morning I had provided all the documents, authorizations and payment necessary for Comfort Cremations to pick up my wifes body and begin to provide the services I had requested.I will always be indebted to Neil for the sensitive, delicate way he guided some of my family members away from making a very bad decision.Dealing with the death of a loved one is never easy, but Neil and Diane helped us immensely. Even Chris, the man who delivered my wifes cremains to our home, did so with remarkable caring and sensitivity.I have no complaints whatsoever, and I will tell my friends and relatives that, when the need arises, they owe it to themselves to call on Comfort Cremations.

Hello! my name is Larry Donaldson, my family and I had recently lost our dear Brother Mark Donaldson, R.I.P. but we had a slight problem? we wanted to give him a going away service that was affordable with dignity. And thank GOD we found comfort cremations, online so I called them and I talked to a great guy named Neil, who was PATIENT, guided me through the process with reassurance, and compassion. Because We had little money at the time so Neil worked out a great deal and we finally had him cremated with no problems at all I appreciate the funeral directors (Neils) professionalism, hes a class act. and I will recommend comfort cremations to others who have lost loved ones and when its time for me to go I will definitely consider having my self cremated (but Im not in a hurry at this time) once again I will definitely recommend comfort creations to others in similar, situations Thanks, and GOD BLESS YOU ALL PEACE.

This whole situation of losing your loved one and doing everything over the phone or computer may seem very strange but my husbands mother passed away unexpectedly less than two months after his father passed. We contacted Neil and he was MORE than amazing through the whole process. He did everything very timely and kept my sister in law updated through EVERY step.. Then delivered my mother in laws remains to our home this afternoon. I would recommend and refer anyone to Neil during this type of horrible situation. Again Thank you Neil for helping our family. We appreciate you SO much!

This was the worst customer service I have ever had at the worst moment of my life, losing my mother. 1. I was told the permit fee was $75. Okay fine, the website add on was $100. Neil stated they would they would call me on Monday for the extra fee. By thursday I still did not hear anything, so I reached out. I was told they did not recieve payment for the permit, so the process was being held up. 2 weeks after the fact I still have not received the cremains. 2. No one told me there was extra fee for death certificate but on the website it very misleadingly says they handle that. There is no add on fee for that during checkout. I confronted Diane on the phone, who told me each permit varied by county, and if I would have paid the $100 online they would not refund any because the work they do is hard. Are you serious, they think their job is harder than losing a loved one? If you cherish your loved one find a different company that will not prey on you at your weakest moment instead of these vultures.

Very professional and communicated all along the way. Never had any questions because they fully explained what was going to happen and when and then notified us as the process proceeded. Also appreciated the delivery to our home.
