I have watched consistently since 2019 at the absolutely appalling services provided to the patients of this establishment. From weekly group meetings that were canceled or rescheduled without any notice to patients who most commonly use public transportation. To bi weekly appointments with actual doctors and therapist who consistently had a revolving door or unfamiliar students sitting in on some of peoples most vulnerable conversations. The nursing staff has been consistently changing never having a set person to speak with about any issues they may be having with lack of communication between doctors and nurses. Moving into monthly visits, where patients are foced to switch doctors after years of consistent treatment with no explanation of why. Only to have new doctors that completely lack any care or compassion for their patients. Bordering on malpractice and just plain disregard for anyones health or well being. Medications are never filled on time, follow up with patients in any form is non existent, and communication between doctors and other staff is lacking completely. I URGE ANYONE CONSIDERING TREATMENT AT THIS FACILITY TO RECONSIDER! The few good staff members we have had the pleasure of working with DO NOT outweigh the unprofessional and lazy, rude, inconsiderate staff that is the majority at this place.

I am no longer a client at Oaks Integrated Care. My case was closed due to poor attendance (I had debilitating depression). That being said, I enjoyed the program. Discussion was stimulating and case managers were wonderful. The most important part was that I was not the smartest person in the room—I never had all the answers, or even the right answers. I consider myself to be very smart and eager to learn and contribute to discussion. I enjoyed the fact that I was able to learn from both the case managers running the group and the peers I was in group with. The groups were so stimulating I would not play on my phone during group. In comparison to Medallion, which bored me to tears. I played on my phone so much at Medallion that by the time I’d get back home, I have used about forty percent of my battery. At Oaks, my charge would be in the mid to high 90s because I was not on the phone. In the past near eleven years since my diagnosis (in 2008, age 17), I have been in four recovery programs. Oaks is, by far, the best mental health recovery program. If I ever felt the need to return to a day program, I would go back to Oaks, hands down. Group therapy should not bore, but stimulate. Oaks is the only program that has kept me engaged. Like I mentioned before—I was not the smartest. There were others who knew more than me, and that was refreshing in a world where I was the smartest most of the time.I would suggest Oaks to anyone looking for a recovery program. The case managers are very friendly, groups are stimulating—you will not feel the need to play with your electronics. It is also close to me (I live about a mile away). Just an overall excellent program. The schedule procedures for when groups ran—so there was group variety, letters A-E and every day was a different set of groups. The only thing I did not like was the five minute break between groups—I think they should be a little longer—maybe a ten or fifteen minute break to give clients more time to smoke or use the restroom and sign up for the next group. Overall, five ⭐️

If you need mental healthcare, work full time and a single parent, dont go here. Ever since Oaks Integrated took over Greater Trenton Behavioral, they force you into 2 therapy sessions and 1 psychiatrist session. Not only will that NOT work with your already full schedule, thats 3 healthcare bills per month. If you need medication, they find a way to make you seem like a villian for needing it. So the profit markup is high for them while their services provide little to no profit for your mental health.
