Called Sloans on Wednesday, and came out Friday to mow and trim. First yard service at the new house and it looks great! Will definitely be using his services from here on out!

Chris and his team were nothing but friendly and professional from beginning to end! They installed landscaping rock, plants and solar lights around our backyard patio to add the finishing touches to our home. Not to mention it was the hottest day of the year… We highly recommend Sloan’s Lawncare and will for sure be reaching out to them for future projects!

We came home to an amazing looking yard that was immaculately manicured! I have never had anyone better than Chris take care of our property. My review is more about frustration than the quality of work. We never made it far enough for work to be done.Called and spoke to Chris, Tuesday, the 15th, about coming out and giving a quote & mowing the lawn. Gave him the address and told him it was in Madison Township. He is located in Trenton, OH, exactly 6 miles away, from his building to my property, per Google Maps.He scheduled to come out either Wednesday the 16th or Thursday the 17th to quote and do the job, hopefully.He didnt show or call Wednesday, so I assumed he would be here Thursday. When I didnt hear from him, I called & texted him Thursday. He texted me back & said my property was out of his service area. (Property is 6 miles from his location). He shouldnt have waited 2 full days and made me track him down just to get that text. I could have moved on and found someone that wanted my business sooner.We got on the phone and he said he only does business south of Trenton. That would have been nice to know on our initial phone call, since I gave him the address and said it was in Madison Township. I could have moved on and not waited for him to show up Wednesday or Thursday.It looks like by the reviews, he does good work. Mistakes happen. Just frustrated how I wasted 2 full days. Hence, the poor review.Chris, obviously, is allowed to run his company the way that works best for him. His service area is what he decides it to be. My frustration was not letting me know for 2 days, after he had scheduled to be here, that I was outside his service area.Good luck to you and yours, Chris. Ill get over it.

I called this company and I got a person to talk to which is amazing in our days. Chris is very courteous, professional and punctual. He came to my home, and we discussed all I needed to be done (snow removal and Yard work).

We had an issue with our lawn mower and called a few companies to see if they could now our yard. Sloans came out that same evening and cut, trimmed, edged, and blew the grass for a great price. We were extremely impressed by their work, speed, and professionalism. We highly recommend their service!

Chris Sloan and his team did an amazing job cleaning up our landscaping and putting down mulch. I called him on a Saturday, he came out that day to give me a quote, and then theypthey the service the following week. He was so polite and respectful and their work was spectacular. He invoices before he mows.Never know what you’ll get.Chris Sloan is a really nice guy.He sent an invoice. I assumed, that he had mowed the grass. I paid the invoice.I went by the next day to see what it looked like.It hadn’t been mowed.I called, Chris and his wife showed up promptly.I asked if he had mowed and he said he hadn’t.I asked if he could trim shrubbery and bushes. He gave an estimate.I left, assuming he would mow and trim the shrubbery and bushes.He immediately sent an invoice for the trimming of the shrubbery and bushes as well as a 3rd invoice for mowing.I thought, wow, these 2 move fast and furious.Came by 2 weeks later and they hadn’t trimmed the shrubbery and bushes nor had they cut the grass a 2nd time.I am wrong in assuming they invoice after performing the work.For clarity - Chris invoices before he performs work.That is the way they roll.Try that when you go to the dentist or when you go to your 9-5 job.Although, I get it, LASIK is different, I think. I don’t know if you pay before they perform the surgery.No other lawn care service charges beforehand.
