Well its clear that my review is the only legitimate one, all others are from 7 months ago, including the owner himself.Hired him to build the framework for a deck. He was referred through the Home Depot pro referral program. In order to build in our township you need to apply for a permit, something Toure said he had done, there was even a line item on the invoice for it, he knew that, he just never applied for one and lied about it.Day 1 - shows up around noon and leaves at 2pm, digs out 4 wholes in the ground for posts to be installed and cements them in. Says he will be back the next afternoon once cement has dried. I look out at the posts and noticed that they are varying depths, I measure and 3 of the 4 are only 1 foot deep, a serious issue in eastern PA with the frost level, they need to be 3 foot deep. With only 4 posts on a nearly 300 square foot deck I was concerned with the stability.Day 2 - Come 3pm he still hadnt shown up, so i walk outside and jiggle the cemented posts and with no effort at all 3 of the posts come out of the ground, there was barely any cement in the hole, only 1 post was installed correctly, a serious safety hazard. We call the township to see if a permit had been applied for, come to find out it hadnt at all, it wasnt pending or approved, it simply wasnt applied for. We contact him via text and tell him to come get his materials and that we were done with him, he was way over his head trying to build this deck, and he lied to us.He immediately went dark and never responded to our text messages, or emails. Additionally, we have filed a complaint with both the BBB and the PA State licensing board for multiple violations of the Home Improvement Consumer Protection Act.
