Told me my silver was fake despite it being stamped.Had it tested later at Martineks Jewelry and they confirmed it was real.I dont know what Kay Jewelers was thinking. Telling metals apart is some real basic, fundamental stuff. Stuff youd expect people working at a jewelry store to knowBut I guess theyll just hire anybody π€·ββοΈOof/10 would not recommend.

Horrible!!!Bought wife a necklace for birthday present and the clasp was broken. They ordered the wrong replacement, so now my wife has to wait another 3 weeks for her birthday present.
The crack in my husbands gold ring was repaired to perfection, and because it was under warranty there was no cost. Great job.
I called on a Monday to ask what hours they worked and got to talking with the sales guy about the ring I was looking for. He said that since the ring I wanted was a special order, hed talk to his manager and call me back on Wednesday. Wednesday came and went and I never received a call back. Friday morning I called to make sure everything was a go and talked to the manager about a miscommunication between the sales guy and I, sorted it out and was reassured that we could come out, get sized for the ring and have it ordered. This should have been easy. We drove from the Gaylord area over to Traverse city and started the process. The sales guy seemed unsure as to how to properly size a finger for a ring, and then couldnt seem to figure out how to use the computer, so tried a tablet and couldnt get that to work. After waiting for quite some time, he decided to try to call it in. For whatever reason, that seemed to be a problem and he said itd be about an hour before they would be able to get back to him. We went for a walk and looked at some of the shops and came back to find that hed suddenly come down sick and left. It was now almost closing time, and we hadnt gotten the ring ordered after all of that. They decided that it would be okay to order it for us the next day in the wrong size. When this was pointed out, the manager suddenly had customers that needed his attention and had to get off the phone. When the manager called back, we canceled the order. The customer service was awful and I wont work with any company that thinks this kind of behavior is acceptable.

Very happy with my Bulova watch and the ring I got for my fiance. The sales lady was very friendly and helpful.
Went in for the typical 6 months clean and checkup that Zales requires on my wedding ring, since Kay bought out Zales. Did not bring my ppwk since last time the associate told me its all digital, and this will have been my third time having it inspected there. The associate was so rude, told me I wasnt in the system, that Id have to come back with forms and then actually said - its like trying to return something from t.j Maxx to Target...um NO, you bought out Zales, this isnt a return and that is not a relevant example. Very ignorant and rude. I was planning on buying a birthday gift while there for my husband but Ill shop elsewhere. Kay needs to hire professional, helpful and friendly staff. Will not get my business.

Outstanding customer service
Okay so walked into kays around 8 pm tonight. One salesman was helping anothet guest. The other was hanging signs. Walked in looking around to see what they had compare to the online store. My husband and i where waiting for them to finish there task. Then a guy walked in walked right up to the counter and the slaesperson got done pitting away his ladder. He didnt even address us. He just spoke to the guy that walked in. I may not be a dresses up. I was planing on buy atleast 6 gifts there. Oh well i will go online and buy them. If your not dressed and all that dont go there.

I bought my wifes engagement ring here. The staff were really friendly and helpful explaining the cost break down, as well as financing options, future upgrade options, etc.
Certainly have not planned go Valentines dau....Disappointing!
