Amazing people awsome service . let me just say i high anxiety and they all made made me fell comfortable and relaxed .
EDIT/UPDATE: I called the patient satisfaction line yesterday and spoke with Dawn. She informed me that to further assist me, she would call me back after speaking with the office team. It’s been over 24 hours since I last spoke to her with no return phone call. This place seems to be the biggest scam of a dental office I’ve ever seen! I can’t believe Aspen Dental or at least this office hasn’t been shut down by LARA. I will be filing multiple complaints and possibly be looking into filing some claims of fraud. This is the absolute worst medical experience I’ve ever experienced, and I’ve spent over 8 hours in traverse city ER before. I scheduled to have my wisdom teeth extracted over a month ago and they said it would cover everything except $89.00. Multiple times the woman on the phone confirmed I would only have to pay an amount under $100.00. Four days before I was scheduled I received a check-in phone call going over procedures. I managed to ask how much cash I would need to bring to my appointment and the guy on the phone said $519.00!!! I was livid and seeing as though it was a weekend I could do nothing about it. Turns out that Aspen had dropped the ball and did not file a treatment plan with my insurance until days before my surgery, and then when I confronted them they lied multiple time saying my extractions were covered when my dental insurance clearly stated that they weren’t going to be. It wouldn’t have been so bad, but I have a rare form of arthritis that I have to inject a biological for every 14 days. I am now 2 weeks without it and one week without ibuprofen for the surgery that was supposed to happen tomorrow. When I called Aspen upset, crying, and in pain they were less than comforting. It appears as though their plan is to trick people into thinking there will be coverage and then surprise them with a bill after surgery. I’d rather have my teeth be messed up than ever go back to the worst excuse for a dentists office in the entire area!!
Very friendly, informative and accommodating. It was refreshing compared to other dental clinics who bordered on rude and impersonal. Thank you for a great first-time experience.
Great job. The compassion was great. Very professional. A little more expensive than I expected. But afterward, I realized how much the doctor actually did and the supplies that were used. He spared none. If I was in pain, I got more novacaine. Thank you very much and thank you for talking to my husband about the concerns he had. God Bless your office. The nurses and assistants were great. Kept things light hearted to keep me calmed down. I will have the other work done at your facility.
All of the employees were very nice and very helpful in helping me make the best decision about my dentures. I am so excited to get my new top denture.
Thank you for awesome first-time experience!
Some of the dental assistants are nice. My cleanings were outrageously costly! If you need a filling, stay AWAY from this Aspen! The dentist I had cant get the shape of a tooth right for ANYTHING! Now Im stuck with a tooth that is so misshapen that it bothers my jaw. The assistant said it would be fixed at my next appointment. A few days later it was bothering me so much I called to make sure I could get the other dentist at my next appointment, they assured me it would be. It was the same one and they cant get me in with the other dentist for another 2 weeks!!!
Although this location has great staff, their hours of operation and emergency services are not accommodating to the working class.
Horrible experience. Scheduled for a day I had off and was called and cancelled on for staffing issues. Told I had to reschedule for today. Waited over an hour past my appointment time to be taken back without any comment or apology of any kind. Sat in a room for half an hour waiting on a hygienist, another twenty min for the doctor. Another 15-20 min for somebody to be willing to discuss plans/billing/scheduling with random staff wandering in and out who seemed to not even know why I was still just hanging around. I eventually just gave up and was told theyd could call and schedule other appointments I need, but now Im not sure I even want to come back with how rude and disrespectful this has been. In total I spent over two hours here for what should have been a routine check up. I work nights. I scheduled this appointment in the morning on purpose because I cant just be up all day waiting for your staff to eventually have time for me. Its unfair to patients to schedule way more people than you can expeditiously treat like this.Update: never did recieved a call regarding the scheduling or planning despite being told I would. You could not send the message that in your mind your time had value, but mine is worthless and can be abused without any recognition more clearly.
Everyone here is super nice and I cant say enough good things about that. They offer some evening appointments which is fantastic. However, we left due to long wait times in the waiting room, a large billing mistake, and the fact that youre not usually in a single room but rather one big room with dividers. I could hear the patient next to me gagging loudly as she got fitted for dentures. I once was told that they were overbooked and that I would need to return another day to finish my appointment. Just not the environment I was looking for. Also they offer no sedation when getting wisdom teeth removed. My husband was pretty much traumatized by that. Aspen is a chain, so it isnt like these issues will go away overnight.
Aspen dental is wonderful the staff are great and willing to work with you to get your dental needs met and dr.T in lieu of being able to spell his name is a Rockstar I would recommend anyone that needs dental work done to go check with aspen
It is a bit of a dog and pony show selling product, but they are a great friendly and professional and competent staff and do quality work.I would recommend them.
I had a great experience! Very affordable!
Emergency appointment for broken tooth. Very friendly and competent staff. Excellent work. No problems after.
What a great experience! I just wanted to praise the staff in this establishment, very friendly, very professional, and very attentive to your needs. I do apologized for not remembering everyones name because Im bad at it. By the time I walked into the door and the time I walked out of the office this place made me feel welcome. I will definitely recommend Aspen Dental of TC to my families and friends.
Doctor Emad and Yen were completely wonderful! I was so worried for years about getting my wisdom teeth extracted and for what! You two were amazing! Thank you for taking such good care of me. I would recommend you to everyone.
Needed an urgent appointment, fortunately got it.Learned of some expensive oral surgery work that was needed. Met with the office manager which resulted in outstanding questions to the owner/dentist.Two days went by with no response, called again. Found out there was no answer back yet.Called back again, added additional questions and still had no updates a day later.Called back today a WEEK LATER since I’ve still not been contacted. Learned that none of my questions were even shared with the owner/dentist yet, and was told I would have a call back at 2pm today with updates. Called back at 4:30 to learn their understaffed and still haven’t addressed my questions. These questions impact the appointment I have in a week from now. They also don’t have the ability to schedule me yet with the oral surgeon due to not having his schedule. I was told I would get a call when this was available. Did not get a call. Asked about his schedule when calling today and then they admitted there is issues with it. Non stop issues with this office re: lack of follow through and professionalism. Customer service in their front office is another concern. I am not one to take the time to review a company, let alone leave a bad review, but I’m truly appalled.WOW: Cindy, an on hold wait time of 10+ minutes to speak with someone on this satisfaction team that should speak for itself. Why dont you take the time to call me. I am not waiting 10 plus minutes.
This place is great! I’ve never had a bad or painful experience and they’ll work with you to get your dental work done.Very nice staff too!
I have never met a staff that was so nice and did whatever was needed to help me. I had a bad experience at my last dentist and that made me even more appreciative of them making sure that when I left I had a great smile! I would highly recommend Aspen Dental to anyone!
Was stranded because of my normal dentist was scheduling months out even for emergency appointments, aspen dental had me in for an appt the same day and my work is getting done within 2 weeks!
Came in after experiencing a ludicrous amount of pain in the right molar which required a root canal, they ran tests and found a lot of things wrong with not just my molar but all my teeth I wanted just the molar done and was in too much pain to clearly talk or think and aimlessly agreed to a nearly $8,000 bill. Staff was nice and professional but keep your wits about you when your talking about your bill with whoever handles the finances in the back, if the person who helped me out had half of a working moral compass she would of set up a bill and plans for just the root canal and held everything back until we got the main issue sorted out. Worst part was the surgery I needed to fix the main issue was ironically the very last of several scheduled appointments and the issue causing me the excruciating amount of pain was solved with a home remedy. Im glad I got that bad tooth out and its my fault in the first place for having a rancid set of teeth but the manager in the back would of been kind to not take advantage of someone who couldnt think clearly and as a result Im still in a pile of debt months later. 2/10 Great service run by greedy people.
Current patient . Searched to make sure Aspen Dental accepted my new Blue Cross Blue Shield Dental Advantage Plan. They list their company on the Blue Cross Website as accepting the Advantage Plan. and Blue PPO. After an exam, they stated they did not accept any of my plan and wanted full payment of $1300 for a future teeth cleaning. I pointed out that I specifically researched to make sure my new plan was part of their insurance accepted. Even though Aspen is listed by BCBSM as a provider, Aspen denied they accept the PPO. Called Blue Cross Blue Shield. Their Dentaquest representative stated they are in violation of advertising false information and to call BB bureau. Really, I had a strong feeling that because of my age, 66, I was being scammed. After revisiting the location and stating their Blue Cross participation, I was informed that I could get a reduction on a different procedure that was deemed needed as an out of network participant. ??? Even though I did my due diligence on researching what plans they accepted, they can simply state they do not accept that plan. I gave a one star because there was not a zero. So EXTREMELY disappointed.
The staff there are very friendly and knowledgeable. Felt very comfortable with them!
My God, I love this place, their so polite, caring, and thoughtful. They go above and beyond.
Very thorough exam and made me feel very confident that I was receiving the best possible dental care at an affordable price. Nice job
While on vacation I had a tooth that needed immediate extraction and replacement. Thanks to the Aspen Dental team I was seen the next day and with their on site lab was able to get a temporary replacement that day which actually looked better than my real tooth. If not for them I would have been visiting family with a missing front tooth which would have been horribly embarrassing. I have great appreciation and gratitude for their wonderful care and service.
Good morning you all are doing an excellent work I appreciate it very much thank you
The team was very welcoming. They guided me through everything and ensured I understood the best solution for myself. The dental assistant was great and took the time to build a relationship with me. I felt comfortable and it relaxed my anxiety.
I had avoided going into a dentist because the last time I did, the place I had gone had charged me 200 for a tooth pull even though my insurance said they would pay for it. I cant tell you how bad the pain had gotten before I broke down and called Aspen to ask about coming in, they not only got me in asap but were so kind about it. They charged the right thing to my insurance and didnt even hesitate to act as needed. Ill be returning to have the rest of my dental work done through them from now on. They were kind, professional and perfect. Talked to me each step of the way and were very patient no matter what was going on.
Awesome fast service at a good price.
Great people and service every time I go in.
The only reason there are 4 stars rather than 5 is that the promised prescription wasnt transmitted to my pharmacy fast enough. I had to wait until the following day to pick it up making it one more day of pain.
Was very pleased with everything. Staff very upbeat and welcoming. Intake as a first patient very efficient thanks to Mary. Doctor was wonderful coming up with a solution to my problem with my denture in the easiest, most inexpensive way. Most happy. I would highly recommend Aspen Dental.
Amanda did a really good job cleaning my teeth - very through; she remembered me from my last visit 6 months ago.
Everyone was awesome! Very thorough and detailed.
Fantastic, I went to the office in TC. Great people. They Were quick, Very efficient, explained everything, and It was a pretty relaxed environment to be in, Even though it is still a dentist office.
Never honor their appointment times. Really under educated and rude staff. If I could give them 0 stars I would.
Like most with poor dental practice, I have put off this visit. I have to say my experience at Aspen was surprisingly pleasant. No one judged or shamed my past. The plan put forward was clear and the financial plans albeit on the higher apr% scale, options are 3. On that you have choices. I will update my review as the partials process progresses..
Very friendly. They were thorough and told me everything I needed done. They told me what the cost for me after insurance. All done upfront before any work will be done. The also helped with any financial options I needed.
Staff is very friendly and good at what they do. felt at ease. so far so good will know more after were done
I will be reccomending this dental office to everyone. I was so impressed. Not only are they super friendly, they work together like a well oiled machine.I have total confidence in Dr Emad Mohammed as well as his staff. Its also spotless and they take every precaution to protect against any virus but in particular, covid 19. I wish Id known about them sooner. Thanks Aspen!
Always polite and positive. Very thoughtful and giving many solutions about paying for repair program, breaking total program into affordable sections.I would highly recommend them to anyone needing Dental services.Pat UngreyTraverse City Michigan
Immediately felt comfortable and could feel the good vibes in the office. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. I am so happy to have found this office!
To my surprise I was able to get an appointment within a couple of days. My appointment began right on time with a very comprehensive examination including xrays and a professional examination by a dental technician with a full explanation of everything that she found. Then the Dentist told me clearly about my options. Shortly thereafter I was given a complete breakdown of the costs and treatment options. When I approved my choice I was again scheduled very quickly to begin my treatment plan.I couldnt be happier.
Aspen Dental is awesome All the staff are very nice .They went out of their way to make my dentures in a short period of time as my daughters wedding was coming up and didnt want pictures of me with no teeth and even brought them to me at my house because I didnt have a ride to pick them up they have also give me some of my my low self-esteem back so with that being said I love you all and thank you all I will tell any body if they need a dentist to come see you thanks again
It is my 1st time to visit aspen dental and it is great experience. All staff are friendly and helpful.it takes a while before i was called but it all went well after the procedure. Thank you to all who help me.
All of the staff from the front desk back to the front desk were very professional, welcoming, and accommodating. Moved back here which is home to me and left an amazing dentist and staff. I am so happy Aspen was recommended to my family by a family friend. Best dental experience ever.
Staff is excellent and dentist is very good thank you to you all
What a great group of people! The staff is so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The facility is state of the art. The entire time I was there, I felt that they were focused on me, my care and treatment. Thank you Aspen Dental.
Staff was very friendly and caring. The environment was very inviting walking in the door. Everyone had a great sense of humor which was great with all the pain I was in. I will definitely recommend them to all my family and friends!!!
Wow, just had my first visit to Aspen Dental in TC. Got multiple sets of X-rays with very modern equipment. Julie, the DA, is a rock star. She made me feel so comfortable in my least favorite place to be (any dentist). She is extremely professional, more than she knows, she is that good. Next, I had the pleasure to meet Shannon, the hygienist. She took detailed measurements related to my teeth but more importantly, she listened to me and my concerns in specific relation to my desired outcome. She openly and honestly discussed the techniques that she could employ with the latest technology to improve my smile. Shannon also discussed my concerns with Dr. Ahmed DDS prior to him seeing me. He performed a visual examination combined with the prior x-rays and measurements before consulting with me. My options were presented in a clear, concise manner. As for cost (which is ultimately taken into consideration prior to making any decision), I immediately met with the office manager who explained all services based upon my specific needs (and options), and quoted me a specific cost covering the entire process from start to finish. If so desired, on the spot, they can immediately determine if you qualify for financing. Part of my care required dentures, and I decided to proceed with the recommended plan. On this same, first visit, impressions of my teeth/gums were taken, and my next appointment was scheduled prior to leaving. If you want/need to establish a plan for your dental needs going forward, this is the place to go. The services provided on this first visit were streamlined, and could have easily been dragged out over 3 visits at other places! My first impression: exceptional!
As a first time patient at Traverse City Aspen Dental, Josh was prompt and thorough with my questions. The level of professionalism and attention to detail, especially during COVID times, reassured me that I will continue to receive prompt, skilled and professional dental care. My immediate care was necessary due to an abscess of a tooth. Thanks again “Team Traverse City” Aspen Dental.
Id give Aspen a minus 5 if I could. DONT use them they mislead me, lied and now have turned me over to collections. I called and said I just want my teeth clean and they said no problem. I drove 30 miles and when I arrived they told me we cant clean your teeth without x-rays and we dont have any hygienist available today. They said thats are answering service they shouldnt have told you that. But after THEY called my insurance they said we wont charge you for the xrays. They have billed me 187 dollars call me almost every week and said they didnt tell me that. I would never use these guys they wont be truthful and now I have a credit report and I did nothing wrong. Terrible organization!!!
It went good everyone is very friendly
So far so good.. im hoping they dont turn out like my last dentist... they are super friendly! A bit on the rough side tho..
Since this whole Covid 19 issue has been going on...most places want you to use their website to sign up or register to use their services. Its not making it easy...as when I called, I talked to someone in a call center..nice to talk to but they set up my appointment for 2pm on my set date, but when I got a confirmation email to reply it said 3pm...then got a text to call an confirm an good thing I did...apparently my appointment was for 3:30pm. I see not issues on my part but call centers an having everyone use computers to register is not easy on us..then I was informed if I missed my appointment I would have to reschedule....as I do not live in that city.Explain to me how that is fair practice..esp for disabled an elderly people. Im not but it has to be considered.
The staff at Aspen Dental is professional and courteous. They stay on top of current research and care about good dentistry. The office has a bit of a corporate feeling, but it manifests in protocols being followed and customers being respected.
Aspen Dental staff is always attentive and also great with my children. We have been there from standard cleanings to Root canals and their friendliness and professionalism is always appreciated.
I a new patient to them, also was able to be seen in the same day! The staff is extremely friendly and helpful!
The staff that works at this Aspen Dental are very pleasant, especially whoever I had at my last appointment. Easy going, easy to talk to, know how to make good personable conversation, and they really make sure you’re comfortable.
Very nice staff they have and super great communication they explain every detail...
Very courteous and caring staff.
They’re super friendly and very prompt. Have been every time I’ve visited whether for my kiddos or myself. I have recommended them to several people who also said they’ve had a great experience- as great as going to the dentist can be! Ha. I even won a $200 electric toothbrush kit for my referrals! Can’t get any better than that!
Excellent and friendly staff. I had a comprehensive exam.
Very nice dentist, cares very much, didn’t have insurance so I paid out of pocket but I thought they were amazing as far as customer service and pricing, they made a dental plan with me and ever figured out a way to help me pay for the bill!!! Great place HIGHLY recommended in my book.
Excellent all around!! For the receptionist, to the nurses, to the dentist and the management!! I felt like a VIP !! Like I was part of the Aspen dental family!! They explained every little details about everything I needed. They left no stones unturned. I greatly apologise for not adding any specific names to this message, as for I cannot remember everyone. As I dont want to single anyone out. But to each and everyone that I had contact with, Thank you You are amazing. You know who you are. So again thank you!!
After six weeks Aspen still has not sent films to my new dentist despite repeated requests from Munson, My new dentist and myself. They were told that they are directly interfering in the progression of a bone marrow transplant and still refused to send the information. They are also over priced and untrustworthy.
Best dental experience Ive ever had!! Highly recommend the amazing staff!!
All of the employees at Aspen dental were super helpful and very nice. I hadnt gone to a dentist for years and they didnt make me feel bad about that either. They were great!
Friendly staff, great dental care, and have never had to wait long before my appointment
Very frustrated with visit. It was clear they were all about making a sale and not interested in helping me, the patient. I went to Aspen for an emergency because I am on vacation and was not able to visit my regular dentist. I was having extreme pain in my wisdom teeth due to them ripping open the gums and becoming infected. I drove 40 mins there, sat in the dentist chair for 2 hours while they proceeded to tell me everything that could go wrong with my teeth. I was only interested in resolving the pain. After telling me what my issues are the dentist just got up and left. The staff told me I was ‘all set’ and I looked at them with utter disbelief. The dentist had apparently looked at the clock and noticed it was lunch time and left. Leaving me without a rx to help my issue or plan to resolve it.
Everyone here is great to work with. Im probably one of the biggest chickens when it comes to going to the dentist. That is why my mouth was in such poor health. I had to have 22 teeth pulled before replacing them with dentures. Of the 22 teeth, only about half of them were above the gumline. They made sure I was comfortable and completely numb before they proceeded with extractions. They took more time to numb my mouth than it took to pull the teeth. It was painless and I was done before I knew it. They have done everything that Ive needed to have adjustments made to the dentures so that they are comfortable. Thanks for Everything so far!?
There very helpful they get you right in and make a plan to get your teeth the way you wont them to look .The people in the office explain all the Processes that are going to be done so you never go into office wounding what being done today .If your insurance dosent cover what you need done they help you get financied and keep the process moving forward. Were some office just tell you the price and tell you to let them know when you have the money to pay them and they dont talk to them again until you have there mony.Aspen dont do that they take time to get what you need asap..I had a great experience there would recommend them to any one that need dental work doneThanksTraverse city .Aspen
The worst service I have ever had. They messed up the procedure, causing dental problems that persist to this day. They charged for multiple medications that were never actually used during the procedure, causing a massive amount of pain. My girlfriend was completely conscious during the entire time her wisdom teeth were being removed. Literally a scam.On top of all of that, they told her to take out a loan to pay off the visit. After the loan was paid off, they contacted her again, insisting that she had never paid anything, and that she now needed to cover the whole visit again. Go anywhere but aspen dental.
Yesterday was just teeth cleaning. Shannon did her usual superb job...all the while making you feel very at ease
Never had a problem with my teeth till I went to this place.Bleeding, pain, and infection! All due to their work. They got me back in on a Friday to look at the tooth they messed up. They said that they would fix it for free. Feel like I’ve been violated and don’t wanna go back. Basically when somebody causes you physical pain really don’t want to trust them.I will be taking my business elsewhere and hopefully another dentist will be able to fix the problems they’ve created.
Mary gets two thumbs up for the caring way she explained my ongoing process.
Dentist made me very comfortable and, they pulled the tooth the same day of my appointment. No messing around. Did a fine job. As a veteran, they treated me very kindly. Very happy for Dr. T.
My first visit. very thorough! They took their time and answered all my questions. Also very helpful in helping me make a plan I can afford.
Im staying with my friend right now because he wanted me to try out the area to see if I liked it.Anyway, he tells me about aspen dental and how he took his son in there for some dental work. All that seemed ok, But when he paid the bill instead of them paying the bill for when he took his child in they paid off his ex-wifes visit because it was for the same child... My friend is a bit to nice so he says fine what ever and does a payment plan to take care of the rest even though they basically stole his money. Despite being on a payment plan they just sent him a letter threatening to send him to collections if he didnt pay the balance. Hes been on the payment plan for over 4 months without issue.Basically Aspen Dental stole money from a disabled military vet to give to his ex-wife justifying it through a minor then harassing him when he decided to not fight it... I notice there AD boasts a 5 star rating from a place you cant rate them. Sleaziest most dishonest dental company Ive ever even heard of. Never Ever go to a place this dishonest for anything because the best case scenario is you dont have a problem, but the worst case scenario is you lose EVERYTHING.
BEWARE STAY AWAY!! This place is a scam!! They will force you to pay for services you do not need. Perform services you don not ask for then bill you for them. My insurance covers me at 100% and no copays they tried to tell me I needed to get their special cleaning which isnt covered by my insurance or they would not clean my teeth. They told me I had to get a crown on a tooth that doesnt need a crown so my free exam and teeth cleaning covered by my insurance was now over 700.00 dollars. My girlfriend went got her teeth cleaned they performed a fluoride treatment on her with out telling her and charged her 48.00 for it. Her insurance also had not coverage for that and the new it. When we called to talk to a manager he is too busy and.still has not called us back.stay away.... I would give zero stars if I could..
Dr Emud did a great job on extracting my upper teeth and then fitting me with dentures, I expected a lot of pain and blood because of the difficulty in removing my old teeth but I had very little pain and did not need a sedative. Thanks Dr Emud.
The TC office was able to schedule me for a new patient appointment within a day of me calling them. They are very professional and courteous! Thank you so much for all of your help!
I had a really painful tooth and am in town trying to keep my parents quarantined, none of the other dental practices would see me since I would be a new patient, went through an incredibly annoying (and painful) circle where the local dentists wouldn’t see me and the local extraction clinic needed a referral... One lady told me to contact my dentist in Scottsdale (for a tele-extraction?) Finally my cousin recommended Aspen Dental, they got me in the same day, numbed me up with a topical so the shooting pain stopped and then looked at the tooth. It needed extraction which they asked when I would like to do, About 30 minutes later me tooth had been removed and I felt 1000x better. I had actually looked at flights back to Phoenix so this, quick pain free wonderful service was remarkable compared to the closed doors I got everywhere else. Staff was great from the receptionist to the X-ray tech to the Doctor who extracted the tooth. Thank you!!
I chose going to Aspen solely because of the great commercials I’ve seen on tv. I had x-rays and spoke to an assistant about what I felt I needed to have done. When the Dr came in and reviewed my x-rays and looked at my teeth, it was confirmed. Then I met with a gal who presented me with the cost. I was in shock as there was no way I could afford either plan. She did some calculations and came up with a plan I could afford. The commercials were right. Still getting the best service, I can afford it. Now I start the process. I need to call them and get things going. I’m both scared and excited. I will post again when this is over and I can smile again.
I had to go in and have my real crown put on and my temporary crown taken off. I had just moved back to Michigan from Arkansas and had to get my tooth fixed. They were fitting my crown yesterday and it didnt fit right for whatever reason at about 6 pm or so (6-11). So they made it a temporary one again and the NEXT night at about 9 pm I was having a snack and the crown came off. There was barely any cement that held the crown there. I honestly dont know what to say. My other temporary crown lasted at least 3 to 4 months. And this one barely lasted a day!
The wait in the evening hours was a little longer than i expected. My appointment was at 530 and I wasnt taken back until much later. Not long of a wait for the dentist to come exam my teeth after my xrays. Staff were kind and lighthearted, one assistant seemed tense but had a smile on. The consult was fantastic, Michelle you rock!
Had a split tooth. Called made an appt. Got a full workup X rays dental exam. Discussed all options not pressured for any high priced procedures.Moved to a surgery chair and in less than 10 minutes Dr T had the tooth and roots out. Had some problems with pre filled out paperwork, but staff corrected it quickly. Very friendly and professional staff. All this for under $150. Last simple extraction cost me 450. Guess were I will go if I have another dental issue. Thank you to all the Traverse City staff.
The employees are nice .But be aware the will scam you into getting more dental work then you need by getting a loan that they provide you with . Please be careful.
Excellent staff with state of the art equipment.
Recently moved to the area and tried to establish a new dentist with this office. If I could give zero stars for my experience I think that would be more appropriate. I called to book my husbands second annual cleaning for the year when they informed me that until he got a full set of X-Rays with “Aspen Dental” and was examined by one of “Aspens” doctors who would “come up with the proper cleaning plan” he could not be seen or serviced. I received such awful customer service when I tried to proceed forward anyway I could. The receptionist refused to accept his X-Ray records from his previous dental office and I refused to see my husband for a basic cleaning. I felt the entire time interacting with this company that they only wanted my money and did not care about the treatment, service, health or happiness of the patients. To complete the awful customer service, the receptionist told me to “find another dentist in the area that would meet my needs” and hung up on me mid-sentence.
Apparently scheduling an appointment at this place isnt enough for them, you have to confirm it or else you no ponger have said appointment and they dont tell you this when you make and agree on your appointment and they dont tell you when you walk in that you are now a walkin appointment. Well they just lost a family of 4.
What a joke! I have been to another Aspen Dental and had no problems. The Gaylord location is a scam! The dentist had no clue a medication I was on, she kept saying it was an antibiotic which it is not. I had made the appointment to have my teeth cleaned, I spent 2 hours there and they had no plan for a cleaning. They gave me a list of all the work I needed, my insurance pays 80% and their math did not add up. I went to another dentist and surprise! I just needed a cleaning not all the other items they listed. What a joke!
I have never been to a nicer place the nurses and doctors were wonderful I had my impressions done on Monday and had my new teeth on Friday especially yen yen. She was wonderful to work with and such a joy she hummed a lot of the time.
First off Dave, the dental hygienist, is amazing. He is patient and encouraging, and gives good, concrete pieces of advice as to how to improve ones oral health. Been going here for 7 years, and I plan to continue.
I absolutely love the staff at the Traverse City Aspen Dental office! They’re always friendly and welcoming!! Definitely recommend!!!
Worst dental office Ive been to they are money focused and can not keep dental appt times. Make an appointment week ago for 9am and its 1140 still not been seen for my scheduled appointment this place only cares about getting patients in getting them to pay up front or find crazy financing then make you wait for the services you already paid for. Kinda scammy and low ball business practice highly recommend finding other providers in another office along with rude people and very poor communication among staff filing a complaint monday with the BBB this is a horrible place
So very disrespectful! Wouldnt recommend to anyone! 🖕🖕🖕
I HATE going to the dentist. Absolutely terrified. But I cant say enough good things about Dave the hygienist. Hes so gentle and makes you feel very comfortable. Dr. T and Dr. E make sure you are very comfortable and explain everything for you to understand. Im glad I chose Aspen.
Dont pay your bill when at the location!!! They have you pay while onsite then send you a bill a month later - even-though the account is paid in full. After server attempt to get this cleared up and even providing a letter that the finance officer signed showing that it was a write-off and I own nothing; I had to write BBB to get this cleared up. It was instantly cleared up once I submitted to BBB.Forgive and forget - went back the following year because Im a gluten for punishment and the same thing happened. This time, Im paying the balance ($69) and moving on, dont want to deal with the headache of fighting it.-Dave-
