I cannot recommend this company enough! My wife got into a small fender bender and our insurance company recommended this business. The entire process was seamless. We dropped the vehicle off during our vacation, and when the bumper didnt arrive on time, the shop personally made sure to have a rental car waiting at the airport upon our return. They saved us several headaches, kept us updated via texts and calls the entire time, and the work restored the front end to factory condition. I would strongly recommend this business to anyone needing body work!
Was recommended by the insurance company for a repair involving a deer impact several weeks before Christmas. They seemed to want to keep the insurance company happy and rushed the repair putting me in a bind forcing me to pick the vehicle up right before the holiday. There was a dent that they refused to fix which I let slide as I ultimately needed my truck back. Initially thought that they did a decent job even though my door still leaks air occasionally. Then when I had my oil changed recently the tech told me my radiator was leaking right where the deer impacted. I was told by Gerber that the radiator was inspected and fine however it is not. For 2+ weeks now they DO NOT return my calls and I have been given the run around concerning what should have been replaced in the first place when they removed the front corner of the truck. Now being told that radiators commonly leak where mine is. Seems like a convenient excuse for them to not take any responsibility for speeding a repair and missing an issue.Pt.2 March 30, 2021: Hi Kyle, yes I did hear your message two weeks ago. Your company has both phone number and email address so dont try that mess. You were the ONLY person that called me back and ONLY after I left a bad review. Unfortunately your answers were non-answers and the fact remains that your company missed a busted radiator during the three+ weeks you had my vehicle. If you had let it run for any amount of time during the repair you would have seen the radiator leak. At the very least some sort of pressure test should have been administered. Now of course the insurance company says that it is indeterminate what caused the problem even though it is in the same place the deer smashed into me. So the review remains at 1 star and I will continue to tell any acquaintance who asks to stay away from Gerber. My point is that you shouldnt rush vehicles out the door to get in front of the holidays (after you have them for weeks). Be well and best of luck.
I had the best experience with Gerber Collision and Glass. They were professional, timely, and kept me informed about my vehicle’s status every day it was in their care. Thank you guys so much.
EXCELLENT service! Very professional, prompt and always kept me updated on the process.Highly recommend
Little bit of abrasive seemed to be more worried about making the insurance company happy, GM replied assuring me of customers importance well see
Adam was the guy who installed my windshield and he did a damn good job thanks again Adam!
Went in for an estimate and the guy didn’t know how to open the hood of my car. He had to watch a YouTube video. I was terrified but gave him the benefit of my doubt. When I got the car back it was cleaned but smelled of mildew. Whatever was used on the windshield left white crust that was hard to clean off.I would have preferred them just fixing the car instead of “trying” to clean it and giving back with stinky mildew and a messed up windshield ☹️Giving 3stars only because my car was fixed.
It was suggested by my insurance company to use this business because they have a working relationship and I thought it would be more efficient. Never in my life has it taken me more than a hour just to get an estimate for repairs. Not only did I have to wait 4 days to get an appointment just for an estimate, since it was Friday afternoon they said it wouldnt be done until Monday. The estimator said he would try to get it done but would call me either way. I called my insurance adjuster and he called the owner. The adjuster told me the owner would work on the estimate and get back with me today. I never received a call from anyone about the estimate. So in the final wash I will have to wait a WEEK just to get a repair estimate, and it seemed to me that they really didnt care. I will be looking for another shop on Monday.Supplemental: I ended up having my car repaired at Gerbers in spite of the rough start I had with them. I have to say that the staff were very friendly and even gave me some repairs for free. They were very good about communicating the status of my repairs with text messages and e-mails. I still think the whole process took longer than it should but maybe the time frame was realistic. I guess Im not sure. It took a full month to get the estimate done and then the repairs completed and there werent any odd parts that needed to be shipped in from Japan. .
Managed my car repairs in a timely fashion without incident. Very friendly and professional. I would definitely use them again.
I had an appointment to get an estimate on my car on a Friday, did not receive the estimate until Monday. When I called to check on it I was informed someone would call to follow up, no one did. The estimate was incomplete when I finally did receive it, with parts that needed to be replaced left off and replacement parts listed were the price for used parts. Needless to say it was not the best experience I have had.* update- after hearing I was not satisfied with my experience, someone reached out, got my car in the very next day for another estimate, which was completely in line with the other estimates I had done at two other places. I have to give them credit for responding and making the situation a positive one!
Great service and are taking great care of my car.
So friendly and helpful, I loved getting text updates on my car!
Ive had them do auto body work in the past and without hesitation called them for an estimate this time. They get my business and Id recommend them to anyone.
Twice now Ive experienced deer/vehicle collisions requiring repair. These folks are top-notch in their friendliness, professionalism, and quality of work. Although my visits were 4+ years apart, their commitments and behaviors have not changed. Great job Gary, Cam, and the rest of your team.
Busy collision shop. Friendly staff.
Great customer service, timely, car was also cleaned inside and out! Ive used there service several times unfortunately but fortunately! Lol
They did a wonderful job fixing my car and they were all very professional. The time frame was longer than I expected, but they did everything they could to speed it up and make sure my vehicle was finished and back to me as soon as possible. Communication from them was prompt and efficient.
That was sort of crazy! Dropped car off for $1,500 worth of damage, called me back later that day and said it was done! what? Apparently when they ordered everything a few weeks ago, they painted and prepped everything so when we showed up it was just an assembly. That is a first for me and a pleasant surprise. We are leaving in 5 days for a cross country trip and needed the vehicle. Gerber is on top of it and now understand why my insurance company said use them. Well done Gerber.
Great job in my f250 truck. Both claims were handled professionally. Cam and Steve both did great jobs. I didnt meet the body guy, but he did an awesome job on both my claims. I give these guys my approval all day long.
Great shop friendly and works with insurance
Used services for insurance and out of pocket personal body work multiple times. Always fast and efficient. Keeps you posted on status and answers any questions honestly and whole heartedly. Good people who love what they do and a great shop!
Great company. Getting your vehicle damaged is bad enough. Nobody is happy about it. But the staff here is great and provides excellent service. They stand behind their work as well. I will continue to use them (should the need arise).
The workmanship is fantastic. The contours restored are perfect. You cant tell the old from the new paint
They were very informative and kept me up to date on what was going on with my vehicle throughout the process and the end results were spectacular. I would definitely recommend going to this placeAnd the staff was friendly too!
Have been waiting for parts for 3 weeks now. Its my wifes car and they keep calling my number, even after they have been told to call her. Today they called to cancel repairs again. But this time they called 15 minutes before she was supposed to have the car there. Again they called me. The ride we had arranged to pick her up was already in their driveway, and my wife was already on the way too. I will be glad when this nightmare is over.
Awesome staff
I would give 0 stars if possible! Worst experience ever. Took my car in with less than 3000 miles on it, August 28 and didn’t get it back until October 9th. Needed work done on the rear bumper due to someone backing in to me. They didn’t seem to know what they were doing messed up several things then when I went to pick up my car there were random gouges in the paint and scratch. I was beyond waiting and pissed that I took my car the way it was. My insurance is being charged double what was originally quoted being these couldn’t fix it right the first time. Icould go on... in other words beyond disappointed with the time it took for such minimal damage and mediocre repair job, as well as the 8000$ bill.
With both times we were there, we had a horrible experience. Reasons being hitting a deer both times. Our insurance made us go here. The first time was this summer 2015, the car was fixed great but they had swapped wires and caused my car to melfunction creating it to not run right. They insisted in telling us that it was that way when we brought it in.... Long story short, they were wrong and we were right. The second time, just here in November 2015 our car went back in to get front end damage fixed. Car was fixed great, alignment off and now pulls to the right, but to be honest they dont know how to put wipers back on.... The arms were on the wrong side! I had to tell him that.. They insisted that it was that way when we brought it in. And once again, we were right and they were wrong. Sorry but if we didnt have any issues.. Id give it a 5... But under the cercumstances I cant do that. And it wasnt our choice to go there in the first place... Id take it else where.
Gerber did the estimate on November 17, and couldnt get the car in until January 28. The car wasnt completed until February 21. This was an unacceptable length of time. No loaner car was available. It was fairly minor damage, mostly to the hood and the plastic trim parts on the front corner from a collision with a deer. We drove past Gerber Collision while they had the car and were surprised to see it sitting outside with the window down during a snowstorm! lots of snow inside the car! The estimated completion date was pushed back several times because more parts needed to be ordered. I feel this was due to a brief and insufficient initial inspection. When I picked up the car, it had a cracked windshield and a cracked headlight. They told me the windshield was from a stone chip that had spread. I am unaware of any stone chips. I called the next day to ask if the paint protectant had been applied because it was not listed on the final invoice. They said to make an appointment to bring the car back to have it applied. No way! Very disappointed with Gerber Collision!
Took awhile to get my baby back but it was worth it :) My car looks awesome!!! Thank you!
Great company to work with, knowledgeable, organized and ready to help.
Dont try to get any help over the phone by this place. What a joke
Great service
Great people.
