We had to put together an audio setup for a wedding, on Labor Day weekend, and on short notice as well. Kyle set us up with exactly what we needed and he took the time to explain everything, as well. Kyle was such a pleasure to work with for our wedding! He went above and beyond to help us figure out exactly what we needed to make our lake house wedding flow smoothly. We hired YOU-DJ Rentals to help us with the sound system for our wedding and they exceeded expectations! We wanted music everywhere people we going to be hanging out at our outdoor wedding/reception and Kyle was able to put together a great system that did everything we wanted. Couldnt have had a better experience with Kyle and everyone at You DJ Rental. I rented the Pro System and dance lights and it far exceeded my expectations. It was loud and clear with plenty of low end to fill out the sound. I hired YOU-DJ rental services for my wedding in early June, and I highly recommend their services. They came and set up the table and equipment, tested everything with one of my bridesmaids to make sure it all worked as I wanted, and even hung around at the end to let us finish out our dancing. Above that, Kyle was communicated and coordinated the day with me with superiority and efficiency, and he was very knowledgeable about what products would be best needs. Between the amazing speakers, the easy-to-use wireless mic, and the equipment setup, you won’t find a better DIY approach to your next event.

Being a full time musician from Florida I was worried that I wouldnt find a pro audio rental house in Northern Michigan. I thought I was going to have to go somewhere in Grand Rapids to find what I needed...Im so glad I found YOU-DJ it Traverse City! Kyle and Jacob know their stuff and are a completely professional family run operation. Their website was easy to use and their customer service over the phone and in person exceeded my expectations and past experiences with other rental places.I perform at a number of corporate events, private parties and weddings across the country and I always try to rent equipment that I use at home. Jacob and Kyle had just what I needed (two QSC k10s, pro mics and a compact mixer). Jacob went out of his way to provide me with extra cables, stands, power supplies and even extension cords which was a life saver because I was flying in to Traverse City with just my guitar. Other places nickel and dime for these extra items but not YOU-DJ.I am hoping to get more events up here in Traverse City just so I can work with YOU-DJ again. They are a complete breath of fresh air! I highly recommend them to musicians needing small set ups, to bands needing medium set ups and any dj that wants to sound and look better than the other guys out there. We had a truly phenomenal experience with YOU-DJ Rental Systems for our wedding ceremony last weekend. The team at YOU-DJ was knowledgeable, so very kind, and extremely helpful throughout the whole process. We rented their new Bose speaker, an over-the-ear microphone for our officiant and a handheld mic for our readings. All of the equipment worked seamlessly together and provided beautiful sound at our outdoor ceremony in the Northport Marina. Our videographers were also pleased that they were able to get a line-out to capture audio for our video. When we picked up the equipment, Kyle helped us get all of the frequencies and channels set up and we tested the whole system. He provided great direction for us to do the setup on our own, but also made himself available should we have any questions on the big day. What a great little company. If you need any equipment for your event, look no further than YOU-DJ.

Kyle was amazing. He rented us last minute when our needs for our wedding changed. On top of that, we accidentally left the unit on overnight and we drained the battery. He showed up at the cermeony and fixed the problem. The day was literally saved by him. Thank you, Kyle!!!!

Excellent communication, outstanding customer service, and very reasonable rates. I recently used YOU-DJ to source the audio for a large wedding I was booked to DJ for friends of mine up by Northport on the Leelanau Peninsula. The event required 3 seperate audio setups (ceremony, dinner tent, and barn dance party) and Kyle went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for each setup- including extra speakers for the barn party and dinner tent, setting up any skirted tables with no wires or cables showing, leaving backup microphones and batteries etc... As a Detroit-based professional club DJ with over 20 years experience, I was definitely nervous about leaving the audio in someone elses hands for such a large event (especially being so far up north with none of my Detroit resources avail if something went wrong), but YOU-DJ exceeded my expectations and made things easier than I ever could have imagined with such an extensive setup. I will 100 percent be giving them a call for anything else I do in northern Michigan. Highly recommended!
