UPDATE 9/17/21I have changed my rating from 3 stars to 5 stars because Elaine & team have worked diligently to solve my buffering issues and to make sure I am 100% satisfied with my internet service. This level of customer service is unprecedented these days and has earned the 5 stars and my loyalty.-‐------‐--------------------------------------Great customer service. Elaine & Miguel are just fantastic! Speeds are slower than expected & theres excessive buffering when streaming Netflix, Prime shows, etc. Especially in the evening.
I live in the country and no BIG internet providers are in the area. A neighbor recommended Matrix Broadband and I could not be MORE HAPPY to give my support and money to a local business!Not that service is interrupted often but, on the rare occasions they are QUICK in resolving the issue!!I WFH on a permanent basis and I am able to access many databases at once and there is never an issue with my internet speed!Thank you Matrix Broadband for your quality and friendly services!!
I’ve been with this company for about 10 years now, so when we recently moved I called to continue my service since their prices are reasonable. Miguel (the technician) came to our new house to start up service once again. The installation was swift and smooth. I know I can rely on them for my internet service! :)
Company owner and customer support manager are very helpful, friendly and professional!!! The installer (Miguel) was right on time and did an outstanding job on the new installation. Answered all my questions and my internet works great! I highly recommend this company!!!
Miguel provided honest information about the service capabilities, requirements, and site preparation. He completed an installation to fit my specific environment and went beyond to make sure my interfaces had connection.The service group has been very responsive in correcting clerical errors and providing updates about upgrades to improve my service.
Elaine runs this place like it is her own. Service is excellent and when a problem arises, Elaine is there.
Been struggling to find a service that actually works at where I live. Ive tried hughes, unwired, etc... I havent had a problem with matrix, so far so good . Very good service for gaming😁 def recommend it
We live in a tough area for internet. Been through a few companies. Cal DSL has been the best. Occasionally things happen which is expected. If connection problems arise, you call and leave a message and they get working on it. They call back when they figure things out. I need to remember I live in the country and things wont be perfect. Keep up the good work Cal DSL.
The worst service ever. Our internet goes out twice a week at minimum. We pay over $100 a month for their service and not one time do they try and compensate us. It’s ridiculous. Stay away.
Cal DSL does a wonderful job on taking care of there customers. Jason, their is a great mechanic and hard worker. He came out to work on my system and corrected the problem of my internet system and then reconfigure it to work more efficiently. Really happy with them all.Art D
The service is good but the customer service never answers my emails when the internet is not working but when it does work it is very good

I dont usually write reviews nor pay to much attention to them but in this case felt obligated. This company is bad, service is bad, product is bad, equipment is bad, everything is bad and it starts with the owner down. I only use them because of where I am have no real options. If I could pay an employee to stand on the roof with tinfoil id consider it and probably get better results. Stay clear if you want to keep your sanity.
I have been with CalDsl for around 10 years and have had very few issues with my service but when I have had an issue they have been very quick to respond usually the same day I contact them. just recently I had an issue with my internet speed on 10/30/19 and called Caldsl regarding the issue after going through all of the over the test that didnt work they scheduled an appt for 9:30 the next morning 10/31/19. They sent a technician by the name of Terrence who was on time extremely polite and professional and had my internet speed issue repaired in less then 20 minutes. So I give CalDsl and Terrence an A+ for their customer service.
I live in the San Joaquin River Club where its impossible to get decent internet. My options are only cell hotspot, satellite, and CalDSL. Im happy that CalDSL exists and Im able to at least get 15/mbps with no data cap. Its quit pricey compared to ATT/Xfinity but given that I have no other options Im grateful. Their techs are amazing and whenever there is an outage Im typically back online in an hour or two. If you have no other options like me, then give CalDSL a try.

I have been with CALDSL for over 8 years now and live in the foothills of California where internet is hard to get based on the rural location and private roads. CALDSL has been a blessing for providing me with great customer service and internet connections from the start of my switch from a satellite provider to wireless DSL. Their technicians are courteous and have very high skill levels during the installation as well as maintenance of the service they provide.Weather situations and carrier outages do happen and when they do, the response from the crews and Chau Jasty has been very positive toward restoration of service in a safe timely manner. I commend them all for their efforts and will continue to use with pleasure the service they provide.I am very happy to have 10 mbps download with 3 mbps upload with a latency that is consistently lower than 50ms.Outstanding job guys, keep up the great work.
Great service. Havent had any issues with the internet at all. When I have called they answer, if I get a call and they dont pick up I always get a return phone call.
This was a great service, friendly and professional. If you had a problem they hurried out to get you fixed...
One star is too much.Id have better luck standing on my roof holding up a satellite myself.Customer service is nonexistent. They NEVER answer their phones or return messages. They might return emails if theyre feeling saucy. But then leave you hanging in the end anyways.They have a hotline if your internet is down so thats cool. But you have to leave a message on that voicemail too😂.I managed to get a tech out here to do pretend work last week. His uniform of choice was checkered pajama pants and hoodie and the problem didnt get resolved.
No customer service. No one will ever answer the phone there. The service will work for 2 weeks out of the month.When you finally get a hold of there technician he will come up with 14 excuses why it isn’t working and blame it on the user?Horrible company. Pay them for no service.
No customer service at all, Internets been running slow so I called them to find out why they told me that I had the lowest package they used to offer so I scheduled an upgrade and they emailed me some information information with lots of unanswered questions, Im tired of leaving messages for them to call me back on top of that they wanted to reschedule for another week to do the upgrade.
Jason works hard to solve problems when they arise, returning to our house on a Sunday just to get things right!
I know living the rual life is diffrent but i just dont understand how i can throw a rock on the town life but to have good internet. If u like hit and miss internet this is the one to get.Day 2So i submitted a bunch of reports. It worked ok for a few hrs now its back to the stone age with these guys. Letter writing might get back fast to us customers. If they had people there to help us out instead of asking us to unplug the router know duh.
So lets start up with their costumer service. Its not good. There isnt to be honest why? Because they dont answer their phone calls. Whats the point of having a company if they dont answer any of their customers phone calls. Second of all their internet. Ahhh their internet. half the time it works Ive been trying to call them about my internet being slow for the past month! Seriously? Like no Im not giving my money for no nothing. Im giving it for a reason and that is for internet that work! last week I went to their office and one of the guys told me that nobody really uses the upload speed..I do I normally get Kbps speed on the upload speed which is not what Im paying for Im paying for 5.0 down and 3.0 up. Im going to their office again. if they have a different number that I can call (which the guy told me that it was the only one they have) cool.Manager of cal dsl..contact meGet your customer service on track seriously..
Cal DSL cuts off service more then they give out and charge you multiple times a month for the absolutely horrible service they provide. They dont answer their phone line if you need help and when they do the just give a half baked excuse like the tower is down but if you call another representative they will tell you that there is no such problem.There is no reason to get Cal DSL unless you want to waste your money and time .
Consistency is key when having internet but live in a rural area dont expect very good internet.

My internet is terrible and if I call Cal DSL Im told to unplug everything and plug it back in blah blah blah blah then the say I should have it checked by a professional. It was installed by a professional who installed my security system. The internet through Cal DSL that is a problem. I will be dead before I get service with someone else because Cal DSL is cutting me off at the end of April and that is about how long I have before I expire, they treated me like this all because I asked for a tripod like all my neighbors houses have, just not me! Whenever I call and ask what I can do about my internet and that Im told it is fineMY LIFE DEPENDS ON ME STAYING IN CONTACT WITH KAISER. I DONT WANT TO DIE!!! ELAINE STATED THEY ARE CUTTING OFF MY INTERNET. R.I.P. TERRY (THATS ME). ELAINE WISHES ME NO CONTACT WITH MY MEDICAL TEAM. WE EMAIL EACH OTHER!Called Elaine today at Cal DSL. Told her how rude the service tech was when he told me that I did not have two names I can go to log on to on my router. I do! It was set up like that weeks ago.All neighbors near me has a tripod most just been put on recently to their dishes that theyve had a while. I would like to have one so my internet will come in as good as my neighbors which is much better than my service. Elaine said they were getting rid of me as a customer because Im not happy with the rude treatment I received from the tech. I am terminally ill & I must have internet to stay in contact with my doctor. Elaine wants to kill me I guess. Cal DSL is all thats available. I will have to take them to court if they shut off my internet. I WANT TO LIVE NOT DIE!!Message to Cal DSL after service tech showed up...¥€∆ The service tech was scary!!! ¶¢¥Elaine will not answer my calls and the service tech talked to me like I was some kind of an idiot. I have two networks on my router I have had two Networks on my router since my router was connected at the same time I had my video surveillance cameras hooked up. One of my networks is TerryDee which has a password on it and that is the one I give people if they want to use my wireless router. The other networks name is Lusty Love which has a different password and is what my security cameras is hooked up to. The service tech told me I dont have these 2 networks and separate passwords for each one any insisted upon pointing to his computer once he was off of my router walking out the door and told me no there is not 2 Networks and I did not know what I was talking about. I tried to show the screen of my phone to him but he not look at it & Kept repeating himself saying that must be from an old router or maybe the one in your garage. I tried to tell this rude person I dont have a router in my garage and I dont have service in my garage I had it discontinued a long time ago and it was under the network name 3goodboys. I know there are two networks for my router one is for my computer I could use but it is Antiquated so I use for my phone and the other one is for my security cameras. Why would this man not look at my phone and see that when I asked for available networks Lusty love came up excellent as far as the quality and TerryDee came up as good, can I please have someone else that is not Elaine call me at 209-830-xxxx because she has a hard time communicating with me and mostly she wont answer the phone if she knows it is me or return my phone calls. May I talk to one of the owners or someone else PLEASE!
