After a little confusion about my pick up location, the experience wasnt a bad one. Service was quick, employees were professional, and the rental suited my needs. They get you in, and they get you out in a decent amount of time.

Worst experience! Just picking a car from insurance claim and being helped by assistant manager Eric and no cars in the lot so he gave me a Ford Expedition with no gas and told me come back and he will give me a sedan. So I went back got another car and he said everything is taking care if I just need to pay the deposit money down from the insurance and Iβm all set but didnβt give me no paper work he told me to return i just drop off keys and thatβs all. I return the car and got a different story. The manager mike colwell told me something different and got overcharged and lie to my insurance that he did give me the paper work but he wasnβt the one who helped me? So I ask for the estimate bill copy he kept telling me how I got charge but wasnβt showing me In paper so something was going on and then out of no where he became rude and defensive. I was calmly asking the question and just talks down on you. I called my insurance agent and they couldnβt believe whatβs going on and funny thing is he change and apologized and gave me the copy because I was in The phone with my insurance. Yesterday, I didnt get the large size vehicle I reserved, due to shortage of staff they couldnt get the vehicle ready, but offered me a medium vehicle and promised the larger vehicle ready by today afternoon.Front desk staff /manager with minimum assistance was very professional, kept his cool when multi tasking; handling the walk-in customers, repeatedly directing where to drop off vehicle, assisting with rental paperwork and assigning staff to assist with customer walk thru.Julius who did the walk thru with me was very courteous and responded to all our concerns and questions with a calm, patient and understanding approach. This morning when I called to check availability of the larger vehicle I reserved, Julius attended my call and assured me I will be contacted immediately when the vehicle is ready or will call me with a status. Great customer service!It would have been a 5* experience if I had the vehicle I reserved, but willing to wait for a day.
The GMC Terrain that was allotted to me was a spectacular car. Upon check in the staff was courteous and answered all of my questions.
Looooong wait and didnt give us a van as promised. But the Toyota Highlander was a nice alternative. The wait was extremely long though
I understand reserving the right to refuse service. It would be easier if they said that. Instead of sending me on a scavanger hunt for not reason. Such a waste of time.If you dont have a credit card but have tattoos on your neck be beware. When I returned after gathering the utility bill and paystub,so I can pay using a debit card. They wouldnt take my debit card. Like why the h#ll waste my time, and tell me you will if you wont. The branch manager himself wouldnt except it after i provided the necessary documents. Even offered to pay in cash with the same 200 dollar deposit they would charge my card Still denied. I guess basically its at their discretion, well I was discriminated against.
My overall experience with Enterprise Rent A Car has been disappointing. The service has been good, however when I tried to rent a 4 wheel drive SUV for a snow country trip a month in advance I was told I could not be guaranteed the car. The past two rentals have smelled of smoke, which to a non smoker is awful.
We were supposed to have a 9 oclock pick up where we were dropping our car off for collision repair and come to find out, we were not on the calendar as promised. We had to wait for pick up and had to call back to ask when we were going to be picked up. Later that evening as the sun went down and cars were coming at us the window was so smeared the glare from the oncoming cars made it almost impossible to see through the window. We had to give the front window a deep cleaning for my wifes safety driving the car.
Paid for a full size and got a tiny midsize with no heads up. Would have gone elsewhere if I would have known I wasnt going to get what I paid for
This staff thats there now is the bomb. However, they do have a driver that will make you feel like youre in the military. I call him lieutenant π
Service was great for both pickup and return. Staff friendly, attentive, provided updates on wait time to individuals forming a line within 3-5 minutes of arrival. Sufficiently explained what I was initialing. Was offered an upgrade on a camaro for a reasonable price however Im a girl who knows her love for adventure so I passed. Looking forward to my next getaway in December.
The process was actually pretty fast for being in line and they were friendly.
I have been a devoted customer with enterprise but I will no longer rent from them again..we had planned our trip,we had made a reservation with Tracy enterprise only for them to call us at the last minute to inform us they do not have a car for us!! When booking with the Tracy Enterprise location, I booked my reservation before hand and when it came to the arrival date there werent any vehicles available. The team at Enterprise were able to find me something and prepare a vehicle correcting my worry about how I was going to go on my trip. I have rented from Enterprise for years, taking part in their Plus program. I rent from them even when they are a little more pricey than others because of the guarantee customer service.I had to take a trip recently and had specific needs, when I arrived the young lady assisted and held a conversation making the check in pleasant.While on my trip, we decided we would be longer. I called up the local office who within minutes let me know the additional price but to have fun with the extra days on this trip.I returned the vehicle and the gentleman was friendly and again had a conversation with me.Now this all seems simple enough but during a time of COVID it has changed the way many companies limit their interaction. So to have a friendly face (with mask) is golden.
Check in was GREAT! Return not so good. The man with white hair and mustache greeted me with his face in my car window. He was the only one NOT wearing a mask. I didnt have enough time to roll up the window before he approached the car. No mask, no service from me in the future.

Requested for car to be dropped off at collision center. Call the day before to confirm. On day of dropping off our vehicle at collision center, nobody from Enterprise showed up (they are only 5min from the collision center). When I called them, they stated that the car was not ready and they will send a pick-up van instead. That made no sense as my wife had the kids and needed to get them to an appointment. So she had to take our vehicle and cancel dropping off at the collision center.I called the manager at enterprise, who told me they had plenty of cars and not sure what happened.I asked them if I could come and pick up the rental, but since it was late in the day, it didnt make sense to pay for that day but I needed to get our vehicle back to he collision center so we wouldnt lose our spot.Enterprise manager stated that for the inconvenience they caused, they would NOT charge us for the first day rental, so we could drop our vehicle off at the collision center on time.Well... guess what... when we got the bill, they charged us for the first day!Ive been a long time Enterprise member, and by far, this was a terrible experience at this location. No call backs, and the manager is always unavailable to credit me back for the free day.
Juan was soo nice and gave great customer service. I wasnt sure which location so I called the Tracy location and confirmed with his supervisor who was also very nice over the phone. Supervisor indicated that he would as also mention this to higher level management aswell. This whole location rocks. Everyone, the whole team were very professional.

Excellent service!I reserved my rental online for a car for one week. The online process was easy, and the rate was reasonable.I stopped by the rental office (in Tracy) a few days prior to my pickup date to ensure all was in order and to ask the procedure for adding my daughter on contract as additional driver. All my questions and concerns were quickly and professionally put to rest.On the day of my departure, I called for a pickup. The driver arrived shortly after. He was courteous and kind, and he drove well.I arrived to check out my rental. Ryan was the same clerk who answered my questions days prior. He was also the same clerk who checked me back in upon my return. He was professional, courteous, and kind each time I encountered him. Those behaviors seemed to come easy to him, and it made each a positive experience.Ive been renting cars from Enterprise for years, and I cant say that Ive ever had a bad experience, but Ryans easy manner each time we talked was impressive.To you, Ryan, I say Thank You. The next time I need to borrow a Hyundai, I know right where to go. ;)

I think being in a customer service business you need to have your staff that answer the phone be able to listen to simple question from a potential customer and then answer it. But your staff just kept talking and talking and when I asked to stop and listen to my question, he kept talking. Wasted my time on this call. Juan was his first name. Your folks need to treat customer with respect on the phone. Ever heard of customer is always right even when the customer is wrong. Why because treating customer well is good for business. Just cancelled my reservation online.UPDATE:Enterprise responded to the above review and asked the local manager to address this issue. I received a call from Mike, the local manager addressed the situation and took responsibility for rectifying any issues. This was good to see that Enterprise takes customer views seriously and resolved them accordingly.
Automated and roadside serviced need upgrade
The staff is great and do their best to take care of their customers. I rent often and they have asked me what car I want when I arrive and have options ready. Brandon, the manager, has always been friendly and takes care of his customers. I didnt give a four because I have had one or two vehicles that have not been very clean or in good condition, but when I called they were apologetic and asked if I wanted to bring it back. They dont always have good inventory, but work at getting me a vehicle that fits my needs.
As usual my rental car service at Enterprise Rent A Car was wonderful.
Small, very busy. The entrance can be a bit tricky. Pull through the Toyota service area parking and there will be spots labeled enterprise. Park there and then the building with the carwash is where the enterprise building is. Gotta walk around the back side of that building. All in all great service and good location though.

Meggan at the Tracey, Ca., location was awesome! After arriving too Oakland airport I was traveling to Lathrop when a vehicle struck some debris and smashed the front windshield!She helped me get another vehicle and walked me thru the claim process thru my insurance company!
Quick service. The computers had gone down this morning, so they were entering in the data manually just before I arrived. No trouble returning the car, however the car I received had a broken armrest. The ride back home was quick and the driver was very nice. I always enjoy renting a car to go to and from the airport, much cheaper than an Uber or cab.
Very friendly staff and a quick checkout with a free upgrade. Gas tank almost empty and was given option to just put in what I wanted to use--no need to fill it at end of rental. Very convenient for a 24 hr rental.
Great service. Very helpful staff. I book with them very often and in my last trip it so happened that I got late in returning my car by couple of hours. The morning when I called to inform the delay they were okay with me returning it late and also just charged me for an extra hour instead of the whole day. Very friendly people and they always have clean and comparatively newer cars.

Called as instructed by insurance company but location wasnt willing to help until late that day or the weekend. Unwilling to work with us or when we had insurance company call them back. Completely rude and didnt care about customer. Wont even use this location and insurance company said that location was removed in their preferred list.

I have rented from this location for about two years. The staff has always been courteous and professional. A pleasure to deal with Enterprise. The only thing I can suggest for improvement is that based on my membership status and constant business I wish I could reserve a specific model of car rather than just being at the mercy of what they may have available.
I rented on a weekly basis with them. I didnt return one of the associates phone call for a little over 24 hours and she referred me to a private investigator who threatened to report the car stolen in a very unprofessional and scary way. Mind you, I didnt owe them any money and they still had my deposit. The next week my payment was 3 days late and they referred me to the investigator again even though I was in constant contact with them. I gave them 2 stars because from what I heard, their manager suddenly stopped working there right in the middle of this. Not sure if it was voluntarily or if she was fired. So Ill give them a little credit that maybe there was just a lot of confusion. Regardless, the private investigator they use acts like the mob. Ill never do business with this enterprise again. And, 725 a week for a small suv rental was excessive. They are getting over for sure. Getting the name of the PI company so I can make a formal complaint.

I love renting from here, everyone is courteous and helpful. They know me by now. Dont expect to get a car without advance reservations since its a smaller local rental office. I always feel comfy when drivers pick me up and drop me off.

Tracy Enterprise is always very helpful and takes very good care of its customers. It is a fair, straight forward car rental agency. OTHER CAR RENTAL companies have become predatory and are not helpful if something goes wrong.
They picked me up at home when they said they would be here. Paperwork was ready, rented a vehicle due to a accident and my insurance had sent over all the paper work. The car was ready, it was very busy but everyone was helpful and trying to get everyone taken care of. Whenever I needed to call them with a question or concern they took of everything. Would use Enterprise again if the need for renting a vehicle was necessary.

During a trip to visit family in California, I called Enterprise to rent a minivan to make my familys ride from Tracy to San Francisco more comfortable. The rental was only needed for one day, but since this location is closed on Sunday, I opted to rent it for an additional day (an additional $166.94) to again, make this ride more comfortable. I spoke to an Enterprise representative on the phone the morning of Feb. 17 who informed me a mini-van was available and upon arrival I would be able to pay using a debit or credit card. When I went to pick up the vehicle 30 minutes after speaking to the representative, there was no minivan available. I agreed to rent the available Ford Expedition instead. Now, I was told I was unable to pay using a debit card. My family waited in their own vehicle outside of Enterprise for nearly one hour while I tried to get a hold of my bank to permit a purchase of over $500 (my credit card required permission for out-of-state transactions over this amount). I spent a frustrating hour on the phone trying to make sure the rental could be processed so my family could enjoy the weekend, as planned. During this time, the representative also informed me to join EnterprisePlus to get an additional discount on the rental. I did this while waiting on hold with my bank. It was a Saturday and Enterprise closed at noon. When I was unsuccessful reaching someone at my bank, the rep came out at 11:55am saying, We are about to close. You can use debit card. This one hour delay and lack of vehicle discussed not even an hour after making the reservation, really put a damper on my familys day trip. When I received the copy of my bill upon returning the vehicle, there was no discount for the EnterprisePlus membership that the rep. had informed me to join using discount as an incentive. Customer service and knowledge of rental policies is severely lacking at this Enterprise location. I will use another rental car service in the future.

Rather aggresive attempts to sell their insurance - to the extent of their manager asking whether I had already paid off my own car loan, and also mentionning that I have a huge parking lot next to my office where their precious car may be scratched. Also, two times we used their services, both times they gave cars with the tank half full. Not coming back for the third time.
Not the best car rental experience. No floor mats in a car, tank was fill in half, no highway pass in a car and they take deposits even from credit cards. Been renting car tens of times and first time I have to give them deposit.
I needed a car ASAP but was given a hard time by the first personal that answered the phone. I was advised to go to another competitor company Hertz in which I think was weak on her part giving their businesses away so quick. I then asked to speak to a Supervisor/Mngr and was referred to Ngoc (not sure if Iβm spelling it right) 5 min into the conversation of my situation I was given a car. Used the vehicle and returned it afterwards as how it was received with no problems.Thanks to this manager not only I brought them business in which puts $$$ in their pockets and in return I was able to get a rental to handle my business. So it made it a win win situation on both ends. Also I was determined to low rate the company and give them a bad review based of my experience with the first employee smh.

I was bombarded with questions as to where I was going, what I was doing, who I was going with, and even though I tried to be polite the questions just kept coming and would not stop It was extremely invasive and uncomfortable. This was not just your typical chit chat you get from a CS rep, this was extremely vexatious.

I had a great experiance in the Tracy, CA location. I was in and out with in 15 minutes. My only disappointment was that they would not let me use my Plenti card. They said that I could not use the rewards program and the plenti card. Other than that it was great.
Guy would not give my daughter a ride said she needed a car seat. Thought she was shorter than she was..did nit measure her just refused us a ride....

Our car broke down just North of Tracy, so we rented a car from Enterprise to get to our destination, placing the repair in the hands of MT Motors. My fault for not noticing Enterprise is closed on Sunday. Repair went better than expected, so we were able to pick our car up a day earlier than we expected. Now, why such a low rating when not noticing that Sunday was a day of rest was my fault? In the business of cars, one would expect a drop box to accommodate customers whose plans change, and when we called an 800 # on Sunday to inquire about what to do, even the corporate person was surprised that there was no drop box. Even mechanics have drop boxes for customers who want to drop off their cars off hours. So she told us to drop the key off at another Enterprise Rental place, an hour in the other direction from where we were going. Which, if you do the math, puts two hours onto our trip with TWO cars, and it was raining HARD. Not much help, thanks anyway, and after a frustrating conversation as this woman tried to find a location on our way home, only to realize she could not tell us if any of these possible return locations had drop boxes, that we would have to dial for dollars to find a suitable drop off location...make a long hard day longer, we called our mechanic Matt, who luckily was still at his shop on a SUNDAY (at least he was willing to work on a Sunday, or accommodate a customer on a day off; Matt was our Angel of a lifetime), who said yes, we could leave the rental car at his place. At least he had an office he could lock, a safe place for the g_d damned key.
