I went there because i had a coupon for an Oil Change, coupon still good, not expired.When i got there it was a run down business, lots of junk cars & no longer in operation.

Would recommend highly. No hidden costs. Straight up good people and they know their stuff.

Finding a mechanic you can trust its not the easiest thing to do. We have never had a problem bringing our automobiles here! In fact, several of our neighbors use Advance Auto as well!A big kudos to the staff!

Great service. Helped my partner get his car fixed properly and for a reasonable price not too high. He had to get a unknown part to us replaced on his chevy sonic, and pay for a diagnostic test, labor, and get his wiper jets fixed since they got plugged up. Definitely will come back here.

My car now has a working air conditioner. They are awesome.

I had my engine replaced by these good people, I know the owner tried several motors before finding one he approved of. Great work, nice engine no leaks and doesnt burn oil. Quality craftsmanship and just nice people to deal with.

No funny business, and trustworthy. Dad and son run the shop while the wife amd daughter run the front. Great family. Its hard to come by a honest mechanic shop nowadays. This place is legit upfront and they give good advice and are very knowledgeable

Very helpful on recovering our stolen car

Took my van in for a full synthetic oil change and tire rotation as its closer to my house than the dealership. They were quick and efficient. Wasnt able to get the tire rotation done due to tire tread being too worn but that is not their fault. Checked with tire gauge when I got home and it was indeed too low. This alerted me to contact the tire manufacturer and see about a warranty claim. I will use them again. They were friendly, have competitive prices, and are conveniently located.

AMAZING owners and wonderful business. Reno took his car in and they listened to his concerns. They called him later that afternoon with a solution and we were on our way with a running car!

Wonderful auto repair shop. A+++++ I cant say enough about the great experience that I had at Advance Auto. The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. I got my brakes replaced there and they did a superb job! I had my original factory pads replaced and rotors resurfaced all around on my Honda Civic. After getting the car back it feels like the car brakes better than it was new. My car now brakes very smoothly with no sound.They had all parts in stock and even showed me the old brake pads they took off to help educate me as to how much wear there was for my mileage. They showed me the new Honda factory pads before they installed them and confirmed that it was exactly what I wanted. Ive been to many shops before and this was the first shop to really go above and beyond without me even asking. Very honest and trustworthy shop.I came here after talking to 3 co-workers who all have their cars serviced here. They had nothing but good things to say so I gave them a try. Im glad that I was able to find this shop and will be referring all of my friends there. Ive been to about 4-5 other shops and dealerships around Tracy and this is by far the best! Ill definitely be back!5 stars! I highly recommend this place.

This is the most knowledgeable and reputable mechanic I have ever taken my car to. I came in with major leaks on my car and they were able to assess what was wrong with it and take care of the problem. They didnt do generalized work like some shops would have. They actually took the time to see what was needed and pointed out exactly where my problem was. I will definitely come back for any other work I need.

Advance Auto is AWESOME SAUCE as my grand daughter says about good things and people. Jessie and his wife truly make you feel comfortable about them working on your car. I have only been in Tracy about 9 months now but when I needed my oil changed I went to this shop because I had a coupon. About a year ago (2014) I had extensive work done on my 94 Cadillac Sedan Deville. Including new suspension and a rebuilt transmission. All parts and labor came with a two year warranty but I havent needed it yet. I drive the car like its stolen and it runs beautifully and problem free. If your looking for honest and competent car repair give Advance Auto a try.

Came in when passing through Tracy because my skid plate fell down and started dragging. They were very friendly and helpful. Took a look right away and kindly fixed the problem for me. On my way out of town now but I’ll certainly stop here again if I am in the area with any car trouble.

Jessie is the best mechanic in town. He is honest, fair, and detailed. From a simple oil change to a complete engine rebuild, he can do it all. I wont take my cars anywhere else.

My whole family uses Advance Auto. Prices are fair, mechanics are knowledgeable, and best of all their honest. Ive had everything from headgasket work, to motors rebuilt and no complaints in between. I recommend Advance Auto to anyone in the 209/ Tracy area.

I have known Jesse for three years now. I have to say all those stereotypes about rip off mechanics are not true in this situation. Jesse has always been fair to me. I highly recommend this repair shop.

The technicians at Advance Auto are great! I have been taken advantage of so many times when it comes to car repairs. One place told me I needed a new transmssion and I was looking at over $2600. I went here for a second opinion and they fixed the true problem for $68.

Ive been going to Jesse since he was just a little guy/one-man shop on a side road off the beaten path. He has always offered me excellent service and his repairs have always held up. I can speak to his services as both honest and efficient, and at a competitive price. The way I see it, I can either go to the stealership and get my car worked on, or I can go to Advance. That said, theyre moving on up in the world now and have a relatively new shop right on the main road (11th) and they can even smog you. You get what you pay for...I think theyre $85 per hour, or at least in that ball park. Its way better than the $100+ youd pay at the dealership, and the dealerships markup on parts are RIDICULOUS. Nissan once tried to charge me $500 on a window motor/regulator that I later found online for $75!!! Go to Jesse and those guys and gals over at Advance Auto; they wont let you down.

First off, i am an industrial mechanic, i work on multimillion dollar machines. The concept of a car is NOT beyond my grasp. I walked in to Advance auto and when i told the owner, im assuming it was the owner, evryone else was dressed like they were going to work, this guy was dressed like he was going to the lake. I told him what work i needed done, an without even looking at my vehicle, he start trying to sell me a bunch of crap i dont need. Telling me i needed this and that and never offering an explanation why. I think i came in to the wrong place i exclaimed then left. I cant believe the ratings this guy has? Clearly friends and family are working overtime on the internet to keep his ratings in good standing. Well, i call you a thief, heres one star for you!

Good service fast smog shop

Unfortunately I have to give Advance Auto (Previously Watson Auto) a negative review. I went to Jessie for almost a year, brought him a total of 3 cars to work on and although he was very nice and polite, I was quite disappointed when I had break issues that started after he serviced my car. He then said he would replace the breaks he put in with Dealer breaks, charged me the difference, but did not fix the problem.I finally took the car to the dealership and they told me the issue were not the brakes and also added that the breaks in there were not dealer originals. I took it to another shop who also told me the same thing. At that moment Jessie lost my business and my family’s business. I would not recommend him to anyone, especially if advertising repairs on all makes and models, to not be able to figure out brakes and to also lie about the materials being put in there? Is just not my kind of place.

This shop is very rude. I simply called to ask if they could look at my car and they hung up. I thought it was a disconnection but i called back and asked if we were disconnected an ahe hung up on me again. Their customer seevice os horrible and they treat u with disrespect. I would listen an go somewhere else. Im glad i didnt get an appointment set up. Who knows how bad the mechanic job would have been. Zero stars

Horrible shop, would not recomend. Needed an alignment and machine was down. Didnt even receive a call to let me know nor a follow up call to let me know the equipment was working. Place was dirty and looked like a junk yard of cars in front and back. Will never return.
