Nice gym. Clean. Good staff. Please for the love of everything, can you add another chest fly machine? Or the back and chest fly combo machine Ive seen at other PF? People hog the one Chest fly machine. For now put a sign up saying share or something. Thanks.

Planet Fitness is a great start for people who are looking to work out. I will recommend it to people who are beginners to go to Planet Fitness to get a taste of getting fit.

Today I went to planet fitness 8:30 AM there were four people working who did nothing but a guy with large hair and I mean there is no sanitizer in any place at the gym, it is a personal shame and they do not do anything

Scamming! Review your bank statements as well as read the contract u signed. Planet Fitness has charged my account 8 (EIGHT) times since December. 4x in this month of February alone. This location is stealing money from me and I have reason to believe it is purposely done. I’ve called the store multiple times on different days and managers are always on a “regional call” and too busy to speak with me.The location itself is regular. Managers lack accountability and professionalism.

Tuesday morning around 930 I was lifting when I felt something pop. I yelled out in pain. And no staff noticed or came to see if I needed assistance. Staff has to be more aware of the fitness floor!

I’ve been to the Planet Fitness on Loch Raven and Taylor a few times since the pandemic and every time I go there it gets worse. I see multiple members without masks. The staff does NOT enforce the mask wearing rules. Yes, I understand working out with a mask isn’t ideal. However, for your safety and the safety of those around you keep your mask on! Mask on means the mask should cover your mouth AND nose! Not wearing a mask and breathing heavily inside a closed space increases everyone’s risk of contracting and spreading the virus. In addition, anyone can be a carrier and not have symptoms. We live in a dog eat dog and everyone for himself/herself society but can we get something right?? We go to the gym for our HEALTH! We don’t go there to catch a virus and become sick or pass it to someone we care about. MASK UP! The staff should be held accountable for enforcing the rules at the center!

Spacious, clean, not overly crowded since covid, and a good laid back staff.Only complaint is that they have the fans on too high over the cardio equipment.

I had been interested in getting into a gym membership plan for a while and I was sold on the idea after talking with a very helpful and friendly PF associate named Aniya! She was able to send me a reference link to see what they have to offer and she confirmed that the kind of equipment im looking to use is available at the location im joining with. She also showed me a neat service they offer to see if the gym is busy or near capacity to ensure my safety is secure in light of the COVID-19 restrictions and concerns. Im so greatful to have been able to get information from her and would recommend PF to anyone looking to start a workout regiment like myself :) Special thanks again to Aniya!

This location is amazing! It is so clean and people are friendly. I’d like to also point out that whenever I am there I always see someone cleaning the equipment or even the facility itself, usually when I’m there it’s Iesha and she does a wonderful job keeping up with the covid guidelines and cleaning. Thank you Iesha for making me feel safe to come to the gym during this crazy pandemic! Highly recommend this facility

Very nice and clean fitness center. It have all the equipment I love. My first day was with Trainer Earl. He was awesome and I felt it when I went home. I previously saw a review someone post with 1 star because someone did not clean the equipment after use. What is the big deal. You have to act is if everything isnt clean and take the responsibility to clean the equipment before and after use. So far I love this location in Towson and the staff is very nice. Thank you Earl for your knock out work out!!

Clean friendly environment

The staff here is pretty chill, the other visitors are too. Whenever i go to other gyms (especially la fitness, good god ) i always feel super intimidated but PF aint so bad. I love that they make everyone clean up after themselves but you still have the occasional, very entitled a-hat that refuses to clean up after themself, then get offended when you clean a machine they were just on. Epesically with this virus, but anyway. My only complaint is the vip area, its very small only 2 of each machine so if you go back on a day its crowded you will be waiting a long time.

Today was my first time going to the gym (ever!) And it wasnt nearly as bad as I had made it out to be in my head. The employee at the desk was friendly and patient, and I noticed staff members making rounds throughout the gym regularly, which helps with feelings of safety. The restroom and locker room were also beautiful and very clean!

I once belonged to another location and stopped going for various reasons. I recently joined this location and I couldnt be happier with my choice! Very clean location, friendly and helpful staff and new up to date machines and equipment. The spa area is wonderful too!

I really like this gym, so I try to come early in the morning or late afternoon. The only thing I dont like at the gym is the personal trainier play loud music. I understand why they might do it, but having the background music plus the trainers music is really distracting. I wish this would change.The staff is really friendly and the gym is always clean.

I love it. The gym almost have everything I need to get by, and has excellent programs for members and guests of all ages; although it needs some more equipment and machines that suit everyone - include myself. Overall, its a great gym.

Excellent customer service. However, I dont like alot of crowds. Its crowded most of the time. When I work out. I want to stay focused. Theres times that I have to wait for a Machine which absolutely aggravates me. Lastly, which I dont like, is that the men have a follow a dress code. The WOMEN definitely should have to follow a dress code. Some of the outfits that they wear at the gym is to revealing. Also, the owner of the company has a nasty attitude if you expressed your opinion regarding policies about the gym. Which they left a rude comment regarding my opinion

Clean, cheap, and safe feeling place to work out. The equipment is all in great condition as well. More machines than free weights but still a full complement of both. Ample parking. The strip mall it is in is a little rough. But the PF building itself really brings up the whole area as it looks freshly rebuilt. (This is a similar review to the one I had for the Golden Circle PF because I had the same positive experience using both locations.)

I was out of town and needed to find my gym. Once I did the man at the desk gave me a tour and was very nice. I needed a good workout and his kindness made it all the best. Great place, clean, wonderful fans when you get hot and up to date equipment!

Love this location. Staff is always pleasant and eager to help. Place is always clean and well taken care of. We used to frequent a other planet fitness and it was like the staff didnt care at all, equipment was always broken and place was never clean. We switched over to this location and have never looked back!!

Gym is clean and bright. Most of the front desk staff are friendly. My biggest issue: the staff should really consider setting the thermostat so that it is cooler. Of course when you are working out, you will get hot and sweat but if its already warm when you walk through the doors, then it will be extremely hot, almost unbearable once you start working out. Plus, when it is crowded with others working out, that naturally creates body heat, it just makes for a miserable workout.The gym isnt huge, but it is a decent size. However, when there are classes being held in the area designated for ab workouts and also the area that has the combat ropes, members doing their own workouts are forced to workout elsewhere.Overall for the monthly price that you pay, the gym is not bad. Definitely not great, when compared to other gyms. But if you are on a budget or even if you are trying to see how a gym will fit into your lifestyle then I do think Planet Fitness is worth considering.

Went to the gym today to sign up in the customer service that I received was terrible it felt like I was bothering the person he really was not interesting trying to get my business oh well. Going someplace else who wants my business.

Sometimes the staff is oblivious to the surroundings and optics....maybe they should circulate more throughout the facility. Why does the lunk alarm not get used?...esp. in the evening hours...after 5 p.m. At the risk of sounding like an old fogey, some clients need to wear more clothing and stop hogging the free weights. I have considered going back to Essex.

I love this location. It’s always clean, the staff is inviting, and it’s never over crowded. You cannot beat a Planet Fitness Black Card Membership. I don’t care what anyone says. Even if they don’t have all of the heavy lifters equipment, I would still keep their membership primary to any other membership because you can go ANYWHERE and that’s a travelers dream! Plus you can bring a friend ❤️

This facility is by far the cleanest facility i have ever been to. I travel a lot for work - and I must say I was left speechless by how clean it was.The management team does a great job of making everyone feel comfortable and welcome!

I switched the location of my gym to the Towson gym not for nearness, this one is actually a little further away from my home, but because of the warm welcome and inclusion I received from other members of this gym. Unfortunately, I had to cancel my membership due to an injury I suffered that does not allow me to work out for quite some time (if there was a pool, I would still be a member). I would recommend Planet Fitness, especially the Towson gym, to anyone who is looking for an effective, low-cost, welcoming atmosphere to maintain and/or improve their healthy lifestyle.

I like the gym because it is very spacious. This gym seems to always be clean and have supplies to sanitize the equipment. The only downside is that they dont have evening workout classes; people need a variety of ways to workout.

Spacious and economical, but they dont offer barbells and are further limited in strength equipment. If you are into weight training, be prepared to do lots of reps and lots of isolation exercise on machines. Unless your goal is weight loss, planet fitness ultimately disappoints with exercise equipment that ultimately is limited in its ability to build you up (no opportunity to strength train with barbells) or make you more athletic (not much that could be considered functional training)

I enjoy working out at this gym since its opening. I would like to see the Cybex Arc Trainers upgraded to the Cybex Total Body Arc Trainers at this location. Thank you for your consideration!!!

I love this gym! Usually the staff at the reception desk are so friendly and upbeat. I only had one bad experience yesterday where the staff member didn’t even say hello back to me when I said “hello, how are you?” and handed him my keys. Then nothing when I said thank you after handing them back. It left me feeling awkward and uncomfortable, like I’d said something wrong. I’m sure I’m not the only one this happened to. I understand everyone has off days, but as someone who has worked in customer service, even on your off days, you gotta fake it til you make it!

I love Planet Fitness!!! I have been able to lose a total of 81lbs to date since last February (2017). I committed to a plan, and received help from their trainers when I needed it. The facility is definitely a welcoming place and I didn’t feel judged at all, which gave my confidence a big boost!

I like the fact thats its open 24 hrs! A regular time is nice but every once in a while I either have some other time available or I wake up (very) early! I can get my work out in!

Planet fitness is a great buy for the cost. The staff is friendly, the club is always neat and clean, 24/7 hours are most convenient and there are a lot of locations to choose from. I’m happy I joined.

Love the 24 hours . I can go after work at midnight. The only thing that really upsets me is people do not wipe down their exercise equipment. So nasty. It really is frustrating.
