A much better experience than my previous visits over the years. Customer focused and excellent cleaning between haircuts. Ill definitely be back.
I arrived at the barbershop in the evening on Sunday the 19th. At the front door you sign in and right above that area it’s a price listing. Where I read for females the haircut with $15. The shop was very busy a lot of young men I waited patiently to be seen. I was called up by a gentleman named Rob. I asked for a haircut shape up and a fade. Instead of saying he doesn’t know how to cut women’s hair he proceeded to butcher my hair. The haircut was an even there was no feed at all plus he seem to have no idea about the sign post it in the shop where he worked indicating the fees. All I know it was the worst haircut I’ve ever had, so ladies if you’re looking for a haircut and you go to Raven Wood barbershop do NOT go to Rob.
My experience was official some of the coolest barbers in the city put this one particular Barber Corey AKA Far Rock is one of the best, precise and on point with his craft.
Carter did a good job giving me a blended fade and he is now my go to barber.
Carters service and cuts are on point. If you want a fresh cut slide through.
Peace & Blessings! F1RST and foremost, we ALL must understand that were still living and operating in a Pandemic(COVID-19/Coronavirus). Now, my experience as follows: I really-REALLY LIKED that upon entering this establishment theres a MASK WEARING SIGN POSTED, Barbers were ALL wearing mask before, during, and after each haircut, Barbers stations were cleaned(disinfected) before and after each haircut including their work tools, sign-in sheets were done in a orderly fashion, NO long wait, customer friendly, very-VERY SOCIAL(Barber Shop Talk), entertainment(music and cable TV), and reasonable prices. I wouldve rated with 4.5 stars🌟 but it doesnt allow you. I didnt rate with 5 stars🌟 because, of how women may feel when they come for themselves or with child(ren) but remember its a Barber Shop...NOT a Beauty Shop/Salon!😉
I got a great cut from a great barber at a great price
Bill will take care of you right!
Great neighborhood Barber shop. Appointments taken but not needed.
Very nice Barbers ..they definitely know how to cut hair very friendly
Guys very friendly.Great service
Black owned Shop. Haircuts never let me down. Great conversation and lots of space.
Amazing service and they re open all night...
Good place to get your cut
I’ve taken my son here multiple times but the last two times I’ve come to this shop I left disappointed. I came on a Monday at 9pm and was turned away even though they close at 10pm. Then I came today and waited two hours because my son’s name was skipped multiple times on the sign in sheet. Whom ever the owner is I would like for you to get some customer service training for your barbers. Also come up with a better way to track walk-in times.
Brought my 5 year old son here to get his hair cut. Loud music played with profanity Throughout the shop, the Barber was very unprofessional. He proceeded to hold a video chat (Which he initiated)while cutting my son’s hair, made inappropriate comments and called himself flirting in hopes that I would invite his advances, and when I ignored him, he raised the price on my son’s haircut. First impressions are everything! Needless to say, I will never return, recommend, nor support this establishment.
My son went there and sat for 3 hours because they kept skipping over him.But the people they were cool with was in and out within an hour. They are not professional at all in that place. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anybody.
I go to three barbers there. They always hook my cut up. My hair is a different texture than most so it requires a special skill. Although I only go to three people, Im pretty confident that most of them there can do a good job with it.
This place is a JOKE!!..from the unprofessional classless owner Chris, to his crew of fresh out of cosmetology school beginners barbers. Apparently Chris has a vivid imagination and thinks hes a celebrity barber with a shop located in the hills of Los Angeles when in reality his shop is a run down unsanitary hole in the wall located in a sketchy part of town. If you dont mind having your hairline pushed back while listening to uneducated banter this is the place for you. Otherwise avoid this place at all costs!.
Staff is professional and very knowledgeable. Have any questions just ask. Very helpful staff. Be back next week.
Been there three times and was never disappointed. Would suggest you visit them during a weekday than on weekends.
They have one of the best barbers in Maryland Vernon aka Man plus its a very clean shop
I visited the barbershop twice before and was a little impressed, today was a total wipe out. I walk in greeted the barber nearest to the door, he just looked at me.I signed-in as a walk-in but didnt think I would have to wait 2 hours not to be seen. Not one of the barbers checked the sheet to try to service any walk-ins during that time. It still amazes me how the barbers could tell who was really next, it was literally just a revolving door of customers coming in and out. Some may think theyre the best barbers in town but their overall customer service dims any skill they may have.
They dont even deserve a one star! Horrible horrible customers service. Sat down for 3 hours and the barbers were just taking their sweet time, chatting, going out to smoke every two seconds like no one was sitting there. I would never recommend this place to anyone. They dont serve the public. They serve people they are friends with and treat other customers like crab. Cant count the number of people who came after me and got their hair cut and I just sat there for 3 hrs and that was when a clown walked up to me and asked me If i was getting a hair cut. I was polite and patient the whole time but the two barbers went outside, smoking and chatting. I just stomped out. Rude barbers! Poor service!
Chile the GHETTO!! Looks real nice until you go in. Travelled many places, been around the world, but truly worst customer care service I have ever experienced!! Save your energy please...I have no affiliation but there’s a barber down near m&t bank, they’ll actually acknowledge your existence...or any other barber for that matter smh
Female barber has great hands. Told me shes been cutting hair 32 years and counting. She gave me a nice haircut.
I love the convenient hours. Most of the barbers are professionals and they do a great job. I particularly prefer Will
Nice barbershop
I was in a predicament my son needed his hair cut badly for school pics. And as soon as i walked in i was glad we did. Rick did a fantastic job and we were in and out within an hour
Always clean and professional in there. Real organized with seeing clients. I go to my man Dennis. Great barber
Great place ...
They always get my hair right. I have special texture too. Plus there are so many barbers there, youll be in and out in no time.
This barbershop is always open. Ive been there as early as 8am and as late as 11pm. Thry normally have at least 4 barbers so if you have no barber or your barber isnt available, this is a great place to visit. The barbers are all skilled and the price is moderate, around $22-25 a cut.
Been getting my son hair cut here for years great barbershop and good peoples👍👍👍
⁰qq
Very clean place and my son loves when will trim his hair
Best barber in Towson. See Shyma. Shes the best!!!
LaVar always does a professional job with a pleasant attitude
If I could rate this barbershop a zero I would. Customer service sucks. The barbers talk too much instead of cutting hair. They Have their customers waiting for hours to get a haircut thats ok but not great. You sign in just to still have people go before you who dont have an appointment but they get to go before you because the barbers know their face and not yours. I would not recommend this barbershop to anyone. We will not be returning. If you come across this barbershop think twice before you decide to get your hair cut there. Unless you dont have any plans for that day or you have hours to waste. I hope this help!
Shyma is the best barber. All the barber does excellent work.
You always walk out of there satisfied.
Cool guys who have you looking like a million bucks after a cut.
On the door it says open at 9 but it was 9:30 and nobody was in site i was waiting since 9. If your going to insist on being late change the time. So irresponsible.
I Myself Suggest You Go There For Yourself Its A Great Place To Get Hair Cuts All Of The Barbers Do Excellent Jobs And Respect There Clients
Don’t come to this barbershop. As mentioned already they’ll have you sitting in the lobby waiting for hours without ever checking the list to give you a haircut. Customer service is awful. There are other barbershops right up the road who will cut your hair just as well, if not better, and you won’t have to worry about the disorganized and careless service.
Best shop in the whole city...everybody A1 wit the cutz...I love it so much Ill just sit in there and listen to the conversations its hilarious
Worst place if you don’t have patience. Waked in, signed in and they just kept skipping the sign in. There were people who waited for 3 hours to get acknowledged! I left after 3 hours
I walked in and was serviced after 15 minutes (he was cutting a baby boys head). Loved my cut by Dez and the price was a reasonable $15.
I love the haircuts here
First dude that cut in first chair on the left sloppy and rush thru his cutz I wish I wouldve looked closely before I left out the shop I wouldnt have paid him my lines not even my shape up crooked had hair all over my clothes then charged $25 SMH I would never return there again didnt even care to give me his name so i cant say but he light skin kinda heavy dude he dont belong in a shop very disappointed
Keep me fresh.
Seem to be all experienced barbers Male & Female just a bit pricey, I paid $25.00 for my 19 yr old haircut with a line on the side.
Waited for 2 hours and left, customer service terrible. Would never go back there.
Good place to cut your hair
Very slow and ignore walkins
Great services, friendly professional Barbara shop
My brothers haircut was all that. They also accommodated the disabled
3rd time herr very professional
Wait can be long but expected. Its a barber shop. Just dont go when graduation time
Being there was really a bad time for me ever in my haircut. I went there and signed in my name at 7pm and waited till 8pm. That was really waste of my time. And I didn’t get my haircut.
Always pleasant and professional service
Bad customer service,The barbers can’t cut the prices is $30 but the haircuts don’t match
The worst. I had 4 people ahead of me on the chart and after all the so called appointments, I waited 2 hours before I decided to leave. No one checked on me at all. This is why were losing to the Dominicans....shouldve gone with my gut.
Too rude for me. Went to another barbershop
The barbers are work over there are really nasty. 👎🏽
Professionals at their best
Best shop in northeast Baltimore
I like the barbers here, but they are so busy wait time can be long. Quality haircuts though, with average prices.
I waited for 30 minutes to get my hair done but the rude barber took care of others who came after me it was ridiculous worst place to go poor customer service
I like when men cut their hair
The worst place you would go to
They just perfect
Cool place
My barber is the bombdotcom
Shema hair cuts are on point
