I have no real complaints about this property. Staff here are super cool... The maintenance guys are on point.. kayvon* (I think thats how you spell his name, tall dark skin guy.. super cool...) and angel is dope... dropped everything to help when my AC system started acting weird... Plus all my little concerns around my place. They come through without an issue...Carolyn is so awesome. She remembered my unborn sons name and always asks about him. Also she is the person who gave me the tour of the penthouse I am currently in... all the Leasing office staff have been good to me..I love it here... pricey but worth it... absolutely beautiful views and amenities are dope!...Terrell Whitty

My roommate, girlfriend, and I just moved in together here. This place is AMAZING. Truly affordable luxury.Shout out to our leasing manager Caroline. She has been extremely helpful, kind, and courteous in everything that we needed during our whole process of apartment shopping, all the way to checking in to make sure weve finished all our items for move in. She has been absolutely amazing.

I just moved in and I am in love! The open layout of my 1Bed 1Bath apartment makes it feel so spread out. The closet space is the best I have ever had. I had storage issues in my last apartment and that doesnt exist with this one. The appliances are brand new and easy to use. The lighting is perfect. I have enjoyed using the gyms in the morning and the security makes me feel safe. Lastly, the location is the best I could ask for. Entertainment is just a rock throw away. This is the first apartment that I feel like I want to resign and live multiple years in!

There are no enough parking spots for visitors. My car got towed and had to pay 260 dollars because the Printer room where we print the parking permit was closed despite putting a paper on my car saying that I am visitor with my phone number on.I found on multiple occasions when I was visiting pets poop and urine in the elevator.The staff are unhelpful and don’t take responsibility for their mistakes.In my opinion, it is expensive for what they offering.

I’m loving living here! It is so close to everything that I could need! Grocery store...have it 3-5 minutes away; mall....literally right below the place; restaurants and movie theater...right across the street! This place is so great and the management is better than any other place that I had rented an apartment from.

My nest thermostat broke and I made a call to the emergency maintenance number. Angel Carbajal (sorry if I misspelled the last name) arrived quickly after I made the request. He replaced the thermostat with a new one and stayed to make sure the AC was working. He even changed my air filter after noticing that mine was dirty. Thank you Angel for going above and beyond!

Shout out to Kevon with the maintenance team at Avalon. In real life everything is not gonna be perfect and things will go wrong. My roommate and Is ac was not working right. We put in a repair order in around 12 pm and they were there just a few hours later figuring out the problem.They followed up and got the issue fixed the next day. Theyre also very friendly people and professional. Awesome maintenance team, keep it up.

Great place to live, amenities are nice, you get what you pay for, I’m here to give a shout out to the maintainance team especially Angel, he’s very knowledgeable and he’s always happy to help, he responds to requests promptly, whether it’s the weekend or weekdays.

I am attributing this to possibly being a new building that needs to work out the kinks; however, something is always broken and/or not working appropriately. I have been here for a little over 3 months now. A few weeks ago, it was the fire alarms randomly going off at night. This weekend, it looked like a fire hose was spouting water from the building. One of the elevators has been down since last week and is currently still not operating. Then today the front door is not opening with our fobs.In addition to the above, the staff can be more friendly and considerate. I walk through the building and no one says hello - not even the Sr. Community Manager. Also, about 15 minutes or so ago, I was using the elevator and the woman in housekeeping proceeded to clean the outside of the elevator with me inside of it (and her standing in the elevator) to the point that the alarm went off - just to go one floor up. Not ideal to do when a resident is in the elevator. No apology for the delay or not even a hello. Huge opportunity for development here Avalon Towson.

Not ONLY is Avalon beautiful but they are timely, fast and quick to fix any issues! I recently had a very small fridge issue and I had Jose and Kevon come to my apartment the very next morning! They helped me, chatted with me and it was a great start to my morning! And on top of their good energy they fixed my issue in a matter of minutes!!! The maintenance of this building is on point and the guys in charge REALLY know what they are doing! Thank you Jose and Kevon!! I appreciate your positive work ethic!

We moved in mid October and love it so far. The staff here is absolutely amazing. From the team in the leasing office to the maintenance staff. Danielle was so great to work with and had been awesome even after the move in. We had a few minor issues (as expected with a new place) and had to put in work orders with maintenance - Jose and Kevon are AMAZING!! Have been here a couple times fixed issues with no problem. They are so friendly and personable. I see them in passing throughout the complex and they always wave and say hello! I’ve read so many reviews from other places when we were looking to rent and a lot of the negative reviews were regarding the staff. I’d be shocked if I ever read a bad review about the staff here. Top notch!!

We travelled cross country to help our daughter with her move. The apartment is beautiful. She has an intermediate studio with more space than I had imagined. The layout if very efficient with plenty of storage (I’m a little jealous!) The local area looks like a fun place to live with lots of interesting shops and restaurants. A huge shout out to Mitchell and his excellent customer service skills. The move-in process was smooth. He helped get us situated and gave us access to a hand cart. And, he helped me meet a work deadline. I was able to use the WiFi in the lobby and he went above and beyond by printing out a work project for me… all this helped to lower my stress level as I tried to juggle things while on the road!

Beautiful brand new building, apartment & amenities. Super maintenance response for my dumb thermostat questions and petty drawer adjustments, paint touch up 1 hr turnaround. Everything is perfect.A special shout for the wonderful office folks - they are the nicest people. They take time to talk to you about how things work here - from Amazon hub to fobs and beyond. Update : February 24, 2021. I initially posted a review on Februay 22 giving the Avalon Towson 1 star. Today I sent the following letter to the manager there and I am updating my review to 5 stars:I am writing to you in regards to my interaction with Brittany.  Initially, I put in a negative review on Google for the Avalon Towson.  This was based on my initial interaction with another representative there.  However, I have to tell you that Brittany SINGLE HANDEDLY saved a potential resident of your community from going to another community to live.  When she contacted me earlier today she was so apologetic and empathetic to my concerns that I originally posted on Google.  And honestly if that was all that she had done,  then that would have been enough to redeem my feelings about my initial interaction with your community  However, she made herself available to me this evening to view and tour apartments and I could tell without a shadow of a doubt that her main concern this evening was to ensure that I was completely satisfied.  I definitely felt like Brittany went above and beyond this evening to ensure that my first impression of the Avalon Towson was not my last impression.  I have to say that you have a true gem in Brittany, and I hope that you appreciate her as much as I have appreciated dealing with her.Not a good first impression....I was interested in putting in an application with this property. They have 2 current specials, one of which is 2 months of free rent if you put in an application within 24 hours of touring. I have already toured another location and do not need to have another tour, however I HAVE to take a tour to be eligible for this discount. Avalon Towson must be in the business of turning away new customers due to not wanting or needing to take a tour and I just want to apply. SMH. There are so many other options in Towson, I will just choose another apartment complex.

We have thoroughly enjoyed living at Avalon Towson since moving here in late July. The staff is consistently accommodating and went the extra mile to ensure that our move in was smooth. We appreciate that the common areas are well maintained and are happy to be living in a completely smoke-free facility (secondhand smoke is a common problem at other area apartment complexes). Lastly, the location can’t be beat for its walkability and proximity to restaurants, shopping, and more.

Jose Nunez has been amazing with us since we moved in this April. We had several problems with the AC and he was positive and helpful every time. He was determined to find the issue and was able to figure it out during the 90 degree weather. He has been a tremendous influence on us loving our new home.Overall, the management has been extremely responsive, helpful, understanding, and kind in this hard time. We can’t wait to use the beautiful amenities when they open back up (due to COVID-19). We’re here to stay!!

I been living here for about 11 months now. Here is how we feel about living here.Office staff, maintanence crew, house keepers: 5/5 starsEveryone employees here are great. They would always greet with smile and follow up promptly on the requests, cleanliness is top notch especially during Covid times.The maintanance team is on top of their game. They would follow up within 24 hours or less. Thank you Jose, Kevon, Juan!Office staff is one of the best. From the time you contact them to inquire for an apartment, to submit your application, to move in to the apartment. They would ensure that you feel as comfortable as possible. Even in the day to day interaction with them, you would always get the same response and service from them. Thank you Nicole, Brittany, Mitchell, Caroline, Kaila (current staff) and Danielle & Mary (who are not here anymore). You guys have always made us feel like your family.Parking situation: 2/5- The garage parking is a great feature to heave, but it sucks that there is no assinged parking spaces. Its inconvenient when you have multiple cars and drivers in the family. The guest parking spaces are very limited for such a big community. The community is not following the rules and you can see the permit parking cars parked in guest parking spots which doesnt help when the guest parking is already limited. The towing rules can be enforced strictly. I have seen non-permitted cars parked in the garage for few days.Fire Alarms system: 3/5It is very inefficient. The alarms goes off at odd hours (10pm, 1am, 4am) and usually on the office holidays. This is very annoying and now we have lost faith on the system as we do not react to them unless it keeps going for more than 10 minutes. Living on the high rise and not having faith in the faulty alarm system is a big safety concern for my family. This has improved in last month and a half. Hoping it to stay the same.Communication for fire alarms. 60% time the communications emails are sent in advanced, but the alarms that goes off during non-business hours needs to be communicated as well, so everyone is aware of what to expect in such situations in future.Amenities: 5/5One of the best features of living here is the amenities that are being offered. You can have access to 24 hrs open gym, limited hours (due to Covid) access to clubhouse, courtyard, and work from home space area. These places are available by reservation only due to Covid protocols. The swimming pool is a big attraction as well during summer time.We have moved to 3 different states/cities in last couple of years and we definitely feel like we would be here for a long long time. Jose came to fix my dryer, although it appeared to be user error on my end he was really nice and helpful. Also walked me through how to use my AC ! He asked if I had any other problems or concerns. I mentioned and outlet in the kitchen and he went run in to check it out ( user error as well 🤦🏾‍♀️). Anyway really nice and great service.

Beautiful new edition to Towson ! When I decided to move back to this area from downtown Baltimore, I met Danielle and Mitchell at their off site location inside the Towson mall and from day one they were so kind, helpful and attentive! They are the reason I decided to move to this beautiful new complex and the transition was seamless even with my crazy schedule they kept in contact with me and answered my questions in a timely manner. The icing on the cake are all the upscale amenities that I’m looking forward to enjoying especially the pool!!!

We are a young family new to Avalon Towson. Even through this Covid -19 pandemic the staff was able to honor our move in date. We expected some hiccups but things were in-fact flawlessly done. Our apartment home is beautiful. Thank you to the attentive staff of Mitchell and Danielle who gave attention to each detail of our move. Every email and phone call has been returned or addressed PROMPTLY. That’s important to us. Jose has been essential in getting my family all settled in down to the smallest adjustments within our apartment home. Moving at this time could have been a nightmare but instead is has been a breath of fresh air. Thank you Avalon Towson staff for being stellar and professional.

I wanted to rate this place the moment that we moved in, but decided to wait at least a month for a fair review. Still didnt change my opinion - this place is amazing. We love how personable everyone who works here is, and how they went the extra mile to make our move-in day feel special. Every time we see Jose he always checks in with us to make sure we dont have any issues and his great spirits puts us in a good mood. Since being here for only a month - Avalon has hosted a brunch event and given out gifts for the residence. Overall if youre looking for an apartment in Towson, Avalon is definitely the place! I could go on, but then it would turn into a book lol. Atleast do a tour and see everything for yourself!

Update: 8 months of living here. Since then, the fire alarm has sounded due to false alarms and malfunctions over 10 times. This has caused us to evacuate at various times of the day and night to wait for the fire department to inform us it is safe to return. While we understand the building is still being worked on, its been a little frustrating.We still are impressed with the leasing office and maintenance staff, just a little frustrated with the fire alarm issues.Avalon Towson has been amazing so far! All of the leasing office staff are always extremely friendly and super accommodating. They have gone above and beyond to ensure our move-in went well and we were comfortable every step of the way. We would definitely recommend Avalon Towson to anybody for their new place to live.
