3 weeks in a row the mailman sits in his truck does not drop off the package due to signature required. He drives off without ringing the doorbell for a signature. We have to leave the house and look for him to get our package. We have a business to run and he doesnt leave his truck to ask for a signature! I try calling the post office and no one picks up. Getting sick and tired of usps
Rhonda was extremely helpful by phone. She was highly professional and truly tried to solve an issue that may have been out of her purview. I salute what the local postal service does each day to provide services to our neighborhoods.
Rhonda was very rude and did not want to do any work. She was adamant and wrong. She is not fit for customer service. I waited in line again and got help from the other counter.
Staff has become suddenly much more courteous and helpful then before. There still remains the 1 nasty worker but the other workers are extremely helpful.

Only ever had 1 issue in the past 10 years coming here. It was them not wanting to send something because the zip code didnt match the city because the address was in an island. But as soon as i showed them the zip in google maps they apologized and sent it. I dont know why the low scores ive been coming here for over a decade.
Horrible customer service, there’s a lady over there, she’s wearing a glasses, Has a horrible attitude. Every time I go there I wish she’s not there or not going to service me!!!!!
My girlfriend experienced horrible service. She was threatened, assaulted and had her phone smacked out of her hands by the female clerk with the tattoo on her neck. Just letting you know to stay clear of her if you continue to go to this location!

We have sent packages in this location that had disappeared from the radar, but that’s just the beginning of the misery since inquiring and investigating about it to staff all the way to the manager is another black hole you’ll be encountering. None of our issues was resolved, therefore we’ve resolved never to send deliveries here. We go to other towns for sending packages now. Very sad as everything about Totowa I love except having to rely and trust my own post office. :( 1 star review is actually very generous.

Cobra Commander’s review: February 31 doesn’t exist! Feb only has at most 29 days, and not in 2019. 28... SMH.I only had one issue with one worker, on a day when she was apparently having a bad day. Another employee there has always gone out of her way to help me.
Probably not the best USPS closes to my house! So many bad experience with this place! Worst customer service, mail get stuck at this place or nearby for longer time than as usual! They need to improve their overall customer service and meet customer satisfaction
Great location, but you are always running your luck as to the kind of experience youll have. They are either very helpful, or miserable to the point of frustration!
I find it embarrassing for the USPS, (a United States Government Agency) to operate in the manner that this location does. I cannot imagine how a local government agency does not know some basic things when asked a question, and can be so nasty. Many days my packages are ignored and not even picked up when delivering the mail to my home. Andrea is the only one there who seems pleasant and knows how to run this agency. The clerk representatives are all rude and make you feel as though you are an inconvenience to them. After all, is it not the taxpayer who in the end is providing for their jobs and paychecks. I do not like to even step foot in this place. It so sad to see people so miserable day after day. Perhaps they should seek out another profession.
I went to this Post Office on Thursday the 31st February 2019 because I was missing 6 mail Packages That clearly was marked delivered by the mailman, So I go to the Post Office 2 days later on Saturday January 2nd so I can speak to a manager to see what happen to my packages, The manager comes up to me and tells me he will go check on my delivery status, I was standing there waiting for him for 25 minutes at least When suddenly one of the employees tells me he left the building, I found this so bizarre that a manager Would walk out on a customer while being helped, One of the employees called him through the phone and he said he would be right back. So I told them that I would be back, So I left to go home, I only live around 2 minutes away from the Post Office this was around 10 30 -11 oclock in the morning at the Totowa Post Office, As soon as I get home all my packages were in my mailbox, My point is I find it very Strange that all my packages were in my mailbox, Im thinking the manager left to replace them all Back in my mailbox because they knew I was on to something, Its so disgusting that a local Post Office would make customers feel uneasy and make people feel like theyre stealing from us, Its Monday February 4th Im about to call corporate office and press a complaint against Totowa New Jersey United States Postal Service department that I believe is stealing packages from customers. And I still dont understand why did the manager leave while he was taking care of me, I believe this manager is incompetent and should be fired immediately. Anyone who goes to this Post Office beware take caution.
The service is horrid. The parents of these employees forgot to teach them simple manners and social cues. When I asked if i could change the postage on my package the lady told me its too much work for me and that she refused to do it. That is a direct quote. She then proceeded to tell me to get a scale and weigh my packages at home before I brought them to the post office. They even once told me they were out of stamps. Ha. It must be very tiring to weigh packages and sort envelops all day. They deserve some credit for the minisule-minded tasks they do. Maybe thats why theyre so unsettlingly rude. I will shave my eyebrows before I step foot in that cesspool again
I have been a customer at this post office for many years and even walked in like minutes before closing and always had no complaints they are very helpful.
Time after time horrible customer service. This has been the standard of this location for years. As long as i could remember the women at the front desk have been rude, condescending & impersonal visit after visit. They make you feel as if you are clueless and don’t belong there. They make you feel like they are doing you a favor. I can’t belive that this issue hasn’t been addressed after all these years. I would have to say 10 times more rude than the NJ department of motor vehicle if you can belive that. And thier hours of opening at 10am is strange to me. Most people go to work by 9am and would like to take care of thier postal needs prior to work. Maybe a 7am or a 8am opening time would benefit the public much better. That’s where i think this locations disconnect is. They are government employees which means the taxpayers contribute to thier salary, which means perhaps they should be alittle kinder to those who pay your salary.
It is sad that people only take time to complain. How about we change our attitude towards them, maybe then we could see some changes. I did not have either good or bad expirience. It was a plain transaction and it was ok. I will hope customers change their ways for the clerks to change theirs too. Maybe a good morning and a thank you can make a difference..

Hilariously rude people. There is one black lady who goes out of her way to be nasty. I place two packages down on the counter with a smile on my face, and she just death stares at my eyes for literally 5 full seconds. Then she argued that I cant ship these and would not give a valid reason. They were shipped flat rate, but the packages werent flat so she wouldnt take them LOL. Okay lady.Im not even going to argue with such a sad person like this. This post office is full of these characters and it is a disgrace to Totowa.

This is the worst post office ever. They always leave me a notice because they are too lazy to walk up my stairs and deliver my packages. AND then they lie about ringing the door bell and no one answers when I am clearly home the time they Attempt to deliver. The people are very rude when you talk to them too! Terrible terrible~!!!!!!!! The WORST
Worst customers service ever!!! If you have to go to this usps office just dont. I repeat DONT GO TO THEIR OFFICE. They have worst behavior issue and they do not know how to speak to a customer nice way also do not know how to behave themselves. They started yelling at me just because I didnt have a state ID. This is the first time I had this issue with usps. I have never has this type of issues before. I dont usually review for any particular stuff and even if I review I dont give reviews under 5 stars. But this is the first time Im reviewing for worst. Once again I didnt expect this type of employee from usps and I strongly believe they should hire more energized and new people to that office. Once again please at least tell them how to behave themselves.

Worst post office my package was forwarded for no apparent reason, I went to the post office to speak to the manager and he was occupied when I asked for my package all they said was they didn’t know they couldn’t find it the employee are lazy and have the worst attitude ever they should all be fired
They open 5 minutes late and close 5 minutes early. Theres never enough people to help. Expect lines to be long.

Bad I always shop online and never receive my packages cause they scan my packages and it says unknown address and I been living in the same address for 9 years and never had that problem worst service ever and their 1800 number doesnt even work you cant talk to no one about this
