Daley Movers are excellent! The men were all polite, friendly, and skillful! They had to move us to three different locations, and they did it without complaints, even though it was an extremely hot day. I definitely recommend them for any moving need you may have.

They verified the day before the move. Showed up on time. Positive attitude from all the workers and it was really cold. They respected us as customers and our belongings. No foul language or arguing with each other. Dont laugh as I have seen this with other places. The price was very fair and the overall experience was excellent. Moving is stressful enough without having to worry about the moving company. Highly recommend them. This is the 2nd time we have used Daley.

Up until delivery, Daley did an excellent job. One of our boxes was missing in the delivery. This was a very small move 63 items and no furniture. After notifying them, I followed up with the office a few times and emailed the office & got no response. We have used professional movers 8 times with a lot more stuff (9 rooms of furniture, garage, basement) and never had anything lost. Very disappointed in their customer service. Owner - Gina contacted me and issue has been resolved.

My husband and I just moved from CT to SC at the end of March. We contacted Daley with only a short lead time of a couple of weeks, and are so glad we found them. The men who loaded the truck were quick and professional, and very careful - both with our furniture and antiques (including a Victrola!), and of our newly refinished wood floors.We received our goods - only about 5 days after pickup! - at our new house, and everything was put right where we wanted it, and had made the trip in great shape. Greg, the driver (also one of the men loading the truck in CT), was an absolute delight - very nice guy, and kept us informed of his progress and likely ETA.We love our new house and have no plans to ever move again... but if we do, were calling Daley.

Used Daley to move from New Jersey to CT. Had eveything being split up and going to three different delivery addresses. Daley was great. We chose Daley even though they were more expensive on a quote because of the fact we were told pieces would be wrapped in our apt and that they would wear masks. None of this happened. One piece was wrapped upstairs and none in the van but just covered. Not a mask in sight. Most movers offer to help assemble beds- not hereAnd the biggest surprise was the $400.00 extra we were charged for their travel time.Would not recommend. Did not respond to an email about these things.

The owner, Gina, is very kind and wants her customers to be treated well and Crystal is AMAZING, I had numerous problems with my move and Crystal listened, supported, and tried to make the impossible possible on multiple occasions!!! In the end, it was a seamless process. I highly recommend them.

This was my first time moving and I wasnt sure what to expect. I kept waiting for something to go wrong, but before I knew it I was sitting in my new living room surrounded by all of my furniture and the movers were gone. It was completely painless! I bought them dinner but wish I had sent them off with a bigger tip. They were that good! Very fast and friendly team. Recommended.

Got everything moved on a timely basis in spite of heat and pandemic issues. No damage to anything (having moved ten times, that is not always the case).

The moving crew was fantastic and personable. Very efficient and careful with both the material being moved as well as concern not to nick floors and walls. The pricing was very reasonable. I would definitely use them again and have recommended them to others who are moving.

We hired these movers to move five offices, three conference rooms, a break room, and an office full of maps and file cabinets. I am talking about three days of work. Eight guys showed up and withing eight hours had the whole job done! They moved all the desks, cabinets, everything from one side of a building to the other. Their high energy level, politeness, care for the furniture was beyond outstanding! Not even one grumble when we thought the job was done and discovered we had another area to go. They jumped right in and got it done no complaints! From the first call, the appointment to see the job, to the finish was so easy. I am amazed on how this went down! We had a complicated move from CT to RI involving three households and two closings in two different states over two days, and Daley was AMAZING every step of the way. They were on time, rolled out red carpets to avoid messy footsteps (day 2 it was pouring rain all day), were faster than they estimated and even came in less than they estimated in the end. I had heard amazing reviews from friends and neighbors but they also were less expensive and simpler to deal with than other companies we got estimates from. The three men were kind, courteous, respectful, strong and SO FAST! I wouldnt hesitate to recommend them to everyone I know. Very happy customers!!

Daleys did a great job with every part of my move last weekend. Packing and loading my house went very smooth. I had several boxes and furniture that was stored in their storage facility. All the items were kept in great shape and were loaded on the truck with no problems. The unload at the new home was great, the crew assembled my desk, baby crib and my kitchen table without me even having to ask. The truck was very clean, none of my furniture had any signs of dirt or scratching. The truck driver was great, the driveway was in a tight spot and he backed in with no issues. For all my storage needs and the move itself, the price was beyond reasonable. Thank you!

Moved from Bristol, CT to Torrington, CT. Prior to the move, the office staff made sure that everything was all set. The day of the move, the guys arrived promptly, got everything out of the apartment efficiently and quickly while taking care of our valuable items, then finished unloading well within the estimated timeframe. It was a great decision to hire them and would definitely do so again.

We had an excellent experience with Daley movers. We actually did 2 moves and everyone was very nice, considerate and helpful.

I have mixed emotions about this company. The overall move went ok. The problem I had was they broke several items and did not inform us. They waited for us to find them during the offload. They actually used clear packaging tape to hide the broken wooden bench and again used clear packaging tape to hide a broken leg on a antique sewing machine table. Also, a large scratch on a bedroom dresser. A Professional would have owned up to the damage. The repair they promised was sub par and unacceptable. After 2 months of trying to resolve the issue - the owner sent us a check for $200. I understand that Stuff happens when moving - but - please try to live up to your advertising write-ups.

Great job packing up but unfortunately things didn’t go as planned on delivery. I was ahead of the van and was hit by a truck on the highway. Instead of asking how they could help, movers were instructed to stop and get a check as my car was being loaded on the wrecker! I was picked up by a friend and brought to the house. The fee was $200 over the quote and things were not but in place, obviously I wasn’t there to explain where to put them. I saw them leaving as We pulled into the street. Overall very inconsiderate and unkind way to treat a customer

The staff of Daley did a fantastic job. From the initial meeting to the followup after we were unloaded and settled in. The actual movers were wonderful, courteous, respectful and most of all helpful. We had the same supervisor/leader for the loading up at our old house in CT and he drove the truck and supervised the unload and setup at the new house in SC. The timing was all perfect, they went out of their way to be accommodating and helpful. They made what could have been a very stressful time much more pleasant and reassuring. Thank you Daley, I would absolutely recommend to anyone.

The Daley crew made the move from Vermont to Connecticut a smooth and efficient experience. The van showed up as scheduled, even though it was a wet windy cold morning. The steep narrow stairs of an old farm house presented a challenge that was easily met and overcome by the experienced professional crew. Packing and loading went without delay.A day later the move in to a fourth floor apartment went equally as well. Without benefit of a dedicated freight elevator the same crew was able to use the resources available to get the furniture and household belongings into their proper locations in a timely manner. The price quoted was the price paid. Thank you for the service.

Daley - they just handled our move last week from Stamford & I cant say enough about them! They have guys that have 40+, 20+, 30+ years experience working & supervising the younger (but still experienced) guys. They work as a seamless team. There is nothing these guys have not seen and handled. They work fast and with extreme care and consciousness for your things, your walls, your floors, your time & your $. They are pleasant, classy, professional, and their humor brightened our moving day. Daley does not cut corners when hiring their staff, and you can feel the respect the guys have for Gina & Jeff. Jeffs estimate was fair & accurate - 38 years in the business, if I recall. The communication was on point, the guys showed up on time, the cost is competitive, the quality of service exceeds expectations, and the overall experience of having an easy move is priceless.

Too far away to bring boxes on schedule and when did, wrong ones and inadequate for what was needed. Arrived around 9:30-10 oclock and left us at 1:30 in the morning. Lost the hinges to our piano, lied down in our bed and made fun of garments in my closet. Put our clothes in a tarp and bundled them in a bag. Nice young men but not professional. Lastly charged another $2400, unauthorized to our credit card. Why get an estimate if it doesnt mean anything.I am a professional business woman and I estimate every job based on the hours it might take however since I am the professional they hired it is my responsibility to make it happen or my loss accordingly.Nothing changed, we agreed to move all our mirrors, all our paintings, everything in the garage and our studio room, which in fact we did.Moved many times and never had a moving company ask for more and without authorization charge to our account. In my world I call that fraud.My husband is a handi-capped Veteran and as both senior citizens still felt a tip was deserved by the young people even though not professional the buck stops with Daley Moving Company...Be careful and dont believe a word they say.

We used Daley to move from a 3BR split level to a 4BR contemporary and they were absolutely fantastic. I was unable to take the day off work when the movers came and was nervous about not being present and my wife was nervous about being there alone as well. The crew of 4 was professional, kind, and incredibly efficient (My wife told me that at one point, she looked up from her car and saw one of the crew behind her holding her coffee and purse so that she didnt have to go back to the house to get it). There were alot of boxes, and alot of heavy items and Daleys crew handled everything in 2 trips and got everything in the rooms it had to be in in the new house. They estimated 10 hours, and finished in 7, so that are final price came in well under the quoted price. Moving is incredibly stressful and Daley made it seamless. We cannot recommend them highly enough!

Very friendly at first and actually returned calls! I wasquoted $1100.00 to move a few things from CT to NC, they said there was 1000 lb charge for small loads. They needed a 1/3 right then another 1/3 when stuff was picked up and the last 1/3 when delivered. When picked up in CT it was suppose 3:00 pm pick up and calling at 2 to confirm. I was still packing and they never called and showed up at 1:30. I didnt get everything on the truck because I was thru packing yet! Got a call they were leaving Sunday to head down south and would be here Monday morning and my balance is $700.00 not the $350.00.. Office won’t return calls and finally if I needed tohave cash before he took anything off truck or it was going back to CT. Very poor communicate skills and not truthful about their prices! I guess they feel they don’t need to because once they have your stuff, they have you over a barrel. Completely distrustful company!

Choosing Daley Moving and Storage was one of the best choices I ever made. I have used other moving companies in the past, and the men were such in a rush they dented a lot of my furniture. Daley’s crew handled all my furniture and belongings with such care. They were patient, and worked so well as a team. They moved my things to Florida, and it was such a success. Everything arrived on time and all together. My sister, my parents, our local daycare, and the local news anchor all used Dayley’s They were very impressed with the work. The men are great, and the owners are awesome! If you are looking to move, I highly suggest Dayley moving and storage!!

Outstanding! Daleys moved us from VA to CT. We have two small children and it was incredible having Daleys come pack us and load everything. They were professional and worked hard and with good care for our furniture. I had no concerns letting them take care of all the packing and loading. We put a lot of our things in storage and I was surprised how large and clean the storage facility was. Everything looked state of the art and was organized well. The office staff were friendly and accommodating and the owners personally made sure we had everything we needed. Used them 4 times with luck 3 of those times, years ago with different crews and their “sister” company, “Bunch Moving.” Guess I had the wrong crew this time. 3 rooms of stuff generally took 4 hours. I packed everything too!! These guys took 10 hours to move the same amount. Slow, lazy, they argued, they broke several things....and charged me 2 1/2 times what they did the other times, one of which was only a couple of years ago. Who takes 40 minutes to discuss where to park a truck for loading??THAT was MY dollar while they took their sweet time deciding something that professional movers should know! I am deeply disappointed in their service!! The owner, Gina, acted like she cared about happy customers but in the long run....the small “refund” I did get was not only NOT enough to cover the cost of the broken things, it was an insult. I will be filing a complaint with the City of Torrington AND, the Better Business Bureau, as well as sharing my experience on social media. If Gina had put her money where it should have gone, I wouldn’t be upset. I never asked for my money back but I was assured I would be compensated. When I called the second time to tell Gina of my disappointment....she never called back. More important to have the money in their pockets than a happy customer. THAT is bad business!! IF you are brave enough to use them....,pay by credit card so you can disputed it if there’s a problem. Apparently, that would only be the fair thing for the customer since the owner doesn’t seem to really care about fairness. What a shame I had to even take the time to write this🙁. We will see when I deposit the small check I got....if they don’t stop payment on it. SO disappointed. I gave them an opportunity to DO THE RIGHT THING and they didn’t follow through. They made the mistakes, but I paid for them.

They arrived late to pack up our house, they were very bossy and rude. They overcharged us by telling us travel time was 1.5 hours. When confronted they took money off. They moved our grand piano and it did not work properly when the put it back together we had to pay someone to fix it. They said they would reimburse and never did. Had to take a cabinet off our kitchen wall because they dis not know how to move a piece of furniture around it. Broke our bathroom window after using bathroom and did not tell us. Compained the whole tine about our new house being 3 floors. Terrible

Happy to be working there was ask if i ever made a review wich i didnt to the fully extent but i like everyone to know that as a place to work and grow is very fullfilling and also teach u to always look at the glass half full instead of half empthy.

Worst move of my life. They broke stuff, lost stuff, got stuff greasy in their storage facility. And then they were unresponsive to the problems. Never use these guys. I could go on and on with specifics.

The owner is Gina dalleys workers are thieves and will steal from your home.
