Torrington Enterprise made my car rental experience easy and trouble free. I felt like they were truly trying make the experience a good one for me. The car I rented was top notch and the entire process was, comprehensive but efficient at the same time. They were pleasant, professional, and eager to please. I highly recommend this particular location for your rental car needs.

I made a reservation online for a rental car after a car accident. I was then called by the local store in Torrington to be told that I would be placed on a waiting list until tomorrow and they could possibly have a rental then. When I made a comment about fixing the website to not confirm customers reservations if they don’t have a rental to rent the women working in the store got upset and yelled at me. After unnecessary stress I was then told that they would not Be renting to someone who spoke like that. I am so disgusted at the way I was treated. I definitely think more company’s need to remember that they are successful because of customers and I never deserved to be treated or spoke to like that. It is an employee’s job to make a customers experience good. Added stress during an already stressful time just ensured that I will no longer do business with enterprise. I will be renting from hertz moving forward. This treatment was completely unacceptable and never should of happened.

Impressive stock of modern cars. Personable agents and fair prices. Drop-off for keys after hours. Small shared parking lot for returning vehicles. The agency offers pick-ups and drop-offs to and from those dealerships in Torrington which work with Enterprise Rent-a-Car. Pleasant waiting area with water cooler.

Got the car with 1/2 tank of gas Driver side hub cap broken Exterior and interior dirty windshield inside and rear glass inside had grease making difficult to see.

I sometimes need to rent a vehicle for longer road trips or moving kids to college. There is an Enterprise conveniently nearby in Torrington, CT. The staff is consistently helpful, professional, and knowledgeable. The cars are well kept, and reasonably priced. I highly recommend choosing Enterprise for your rental car needs.

Convenient since theres no major airport or city nearby, but the service is a little disappointing. Location is closed on Sunday, so if you need a Saturday rental, youre paying for both weekend days whether you return it or not. Seems like Enterprise can do better than that kind of scam operation to make an extra days rental. Be careful of reservations made online through an app like Expedia. If you want the CDW for $10/day on Expedia, GET IT ON EXPEDIA. Enterprise does not tell you (nor does Expedia) that if you add it at the location, its $25 per day and not $10. Surprisingly, gas refill is about 65% of local price. Check at time of rental, but at that price, its convenient and cost effective to return empty. Call ahead, because they dont always have cars on site and there may be a delay getting a car from another location. With the exception of Dakota, most of the staff have to really work to come across as friendly.

I’ve been in a rental for a while due to issues caused by a body shop while my car was being worked on. The Torrington CT store and the entire staff is amazing! Top notch service, professional, efficient and very friendly! They have gone above and beyond for me and I greatly appreciate it! I would give them 10 stars if I could!

I picked the car up the day after Labor Day, usually a crazy day and it was. But service was so good and fast -- electronic and socially distant -- I was thrilled to get on the road sooner than I had bargained. My check out person was amazing.

I have rented from this location several times and have always been satisfied with their service but this last rental exceeded my expectations. Bernadette was so helpful when I needed a vehicle to move a piece of furniture to SC. Since vans cannot be rented for one way trips she suggested a minivan and took me out to show me how it worked. She measured it to make sure the piece would fit. She was able to get me a very good price for it which I really appreciated.When we returned it to SC there was a problem with the price that had been quoted me. I was very confident that Bernadette would be able to help me the next day so I just paid the amount and didnt worry about it. I call the location and talked to Bernadette the next morning and within 2 minutes the issue was resolved.I would recommend this location to anyone needing to rent a vehicle. They really understand customer service. Thank you.

I just recently rented a van from Torrington Enterprise this past week. Matt and Decota made this process so much easier.The service was excellent and very very professional I would absolutely rent from them again and again. I would also recommend them to anyone that is looking for a rental. If there was the option of more than 5 stars I would most definitely give it to them not to mention my car was excellent and clean. I was extremely satisfied with their service

Waterbury CT- enterprise, Ridiculous.i rented a car for a week to go across country. The car had damage to the right fender( marked on walk thru). I asked if there was another vehicle. There wasnt. I was told theres nothing wrong. Once I got on the highway mama a malfunction light went on. I called Enterprise and spoke with the person who rented me the car oh, they told me that it goes on when youre near another vehicle and then it will go off theres nothing wrong. The lights never went off the whole truck. And the safety features for the vehicle that warn you that somebody is in your blind spot and the side blinkers that are on the mirror and any other features that would have been available if the dash wasnt busy with the malfunction warning on their didnt work. The whole purpose for me renting a vehicle that was better than my own was so that would be better than my own. It wasnt and sometimes it just didnt have the power that it should have. Obviously no one really fixed it after it was obviously in a fender bender.

Car was clean except for the inside of the windshield. When facing the evening sun the window became very difficult to see out of.

Worst customer service and rude front desk personnel. I was denied a vehicle because I opted for a third party insurance and they wanted me to have enterprise insurance. When I contacted customer service, I was told someone would be reaching me by the end of the day and no one reached out to me for 1&1/2 day. Had to cancel my plans for the long weekend and ended up paying 4 times the price to rent a car again a few hours before my reservation on Columbus Day even on top of making my reservation 10 days in advance. Worst enterprise location ever. I have been renting from various enterprise locations for 3 years and this is the worst location Ive ever been to. Would never want to go back there.

I had a great first car rental experience here. Trevor was great, very helpful and polite, plus it didnt take long at all, I was maybe on the lot 10-15 minutes at most picking up and returning my vehicle. I will definitely rent from this Enterprise location again. Thanks guys!

Called to make a reservation and the staff was rude. The manager seemed frustrated with my questions about why they didn’t have a car. She said it’s because they’re not getting support from their company. I felt bad for them.

Spent the time to make an online reservation. Received a confirmation but was called en route and told no car was available.Finally received the car later that evening. Smelled like cigarette smoke. No alternative was available.

I was a bit worried when I arrived to find that they didnt have the mid size SUV I had ordered, but a wonderful girl, Miranda, I believe, was just as friendly and helpful as could be. She got me into a Chevy Tahoe which normally costs more and charged me less than my original quote. Great job. At drop off in Bar Harbor Jordan even drove me back to town. Good job Enterprise.

Dropped Car off at Body Shop Saturday. Its now Tuesday and they still havent returned my deposit even though Monday they said it would definitely be in my account today. Not happy. Just called and they said they are waiting on finish up from car insurance that car insurance only paid 2 days. Yet Amicable says they approved 5. This was prior to me even getting the car they approved 5 days. They have no right to hold my money. The car was filled with gas no damage to be chiles I drove it approx 15 miles.The car was dirty when it was given to me not fithly but dirty. Why tell me its going to be in my account then I call back and now they are waiting on insurance. This is so wrong.

My son reserved a car for yesterday to be picked up at 9:30 am. He got a call at 8:40 in the morning saying it would be more like 10:30 or 11:30 and they didnt have a car available yet. By the time they closed at 12:00 he never got it so he had cancel his trip. I will Never recommend Enterprise to anyone.

Wonderful and charges $250 less deposit (only 250 as compared to freaking 500!) for debit-card users than the Cheshire, Watertown or Wolcott locations!!! Absolutely painless. Well see how quick they put the deposit back on since I have to drop off in Wallingford, but I dont anticipate any issues. I went with Dollar while out of state because Enterpise was too pricey there, and...endless story very short, Dollar was a BLASTED NIGHTMARE FROM HELL. I should have absolutely stuck with Enterprise. They are just wonderful.

The staff was very polite and professional, no question about it. However, our rented car was sprayed by a skunk and the horrible smell inside the car made it impossible for us to drive the car. We called Enterprise at the toll free number to request a change of vehicle, but since this incident happened on December 24 @ 5:15 pm, the local office was closed until the 26 of December. Therefore, we could not use the car for 2 days until the local office was able to deliver another car. I was informed by the staff that in order to remove the skunk smell I was going to be charged $200.00 for detail cleaning of the car. I understood about this additional charge, but I still do not understand why Enterprise did not give me any credit for the 2 days that we could not use the car, since they were closed for 2 days.

In this location they are always helping you in all our needs as customers. This is the only place I would rent from. As a company there prices are very good. I will always rent from them

They were ready for me when I got there. Great car, rep didnt try to talk me into anything I didnt need, while still letting me know what all the options were. Brought the car up front for me. Made sure I knew where everything was in the car (lights, wipers, etc). She happened to know the area I was driving to and gave me fantastic back road suggestions, which saved me a lot of time and aggravation. (Thank you again Catie!) They will always be my first choice.

Be prepared to deal with the manager DANIELLE because you will not be satisfied. I met her as she was yelling at customers on the phone about payment and then when I had issues with my rental she continued to talk over me and get loud. Assuming she has control issues as well as no common sense as to what respect is. Will do what you deserve to have done if you continuously ask to speak to the owner, obviously she doesnt want to have anymore complaints about how she is completely UNPROFESSIONAL. . .DO NOT LET HER TREAT YOU WITH DISRESPECT! You are treated how you let people treat you and I did not stand for the disrespect and lies.

This was the worst experience Ive ever had with a rental car. The manager at the Torrington location was extremely rude. I was quoated one price and charged way more than I planned. The car was dirty with burns in the seat and stains on interior roof and the windows had a heavy smoke film on them inside. I tried to exchange the car for one that didnt shake when I stopped or have horrible brakes also the service air bag light kept coming on during trip. I was offered a smaller car with no reimbursement and then sent to other locations around CT to try an exchange the car to the point it was making me late for my trip. Not one person from enterprise was helpful or cared about the issues I was having. I will not be renting from them again in the future and would not recommend this place to anybody. Very poor customer care. Horrible car rental.

I have to let everyone know if you decide to rent a car from them go through your own insurance, because this company will look for any excuse to not pay the claim if you take theres!!!! I rented a car for one day, because my car was in service, and normally I would have to pay $50.00 diollars for the day, however I was talked into taking there Insurance, to cover the rental, and the property damage to the others. It was promoted as Worry free driving I asked I am covered no matter what, I was told unless I was using the car to commit a felony, or I was driving drunk there were no problems. Well my car was not ready as advised, and what happened on my way home as I was pulling into my driveway (Please note my driveway is close to a mile long) and unfortunately an animal jumped in my path, because I do live in a very rural area, and when I went to hit the brake, I hit the gas by mistake, and went straight toward my wifes parked car on the otherside of the property. When trying to get information to put claim in from the office it was hard, I had to do all the leg work. The company is looking for any excuse to not cover this claim. They say because it was my property and my wifes car that was hit there is no coverage!!!! I submitted pictures, and video surveliance, and they refuse to cover claim!!!! I told my insrsnace company and my agent was not happy, and I told him if he ever recomends Enterprise Rent a Car to me again he will lose my bussiness, and I told him if he even thinks about recommending these thieves hes crazy, go with Hertz etc!!!! I called corporate, and was told I would get a call back in 24 hours never happened!!! I called again, and sat on hold to long and just hung up. I am done with Enterprise, and You should be to. I plan on sharing my story all over the internet, and media, because Enterprise quoted me $50.00 for the day, and they never gave me anything in writing, and convinced me to take this additional coverage. They made $92.00 off me that day, however when I am done it will cost them much more. Please feel free to share my story, and hopefully learn from this!!!! So in summary, if you rent a car, pay the daily fee, and DECLINE THE ADDITIONAL INSURANCE, ITS A SCAM!!!!
