I really enjoyed this hotel. The hotel has a balcony and the rooms were clean. The area was quiet and laid back. They have a Kings Hawaiin restaurant 2 seconds down the street which is super popular. The hotel is in an excellent location from all the fun.. I wish breakfast was included and the outside trash cans can use some attention.

Check in and check out were great. Comfy beds and enough plugs for all our devices. Walk in shower was nice too.Friendly customer service.

A lot of positives: a nice, firm bed; comfortable furniture and work chair; a big screen TV (HBO, Showtime channels and On Demand are included). Heres hoping you dont need it, but the bathroom door is very solid and it locks. The primary drawback (and the main reason for 4 stars) is that the walls are not soundproof. Basic internet is included, but if you want to stream video, itll cost an extra $6.95 a day. Oh, yeah... the Close Door button actually works in the elevator and you will probably want to use it because the doors take their time to start closing.

Great hotel. Very quiet area. Not far from Redondo Beach. Stayed here for the night for a family friends daughters wedding. Balcony was nice. Staff were very nice. Great beds. Free parking. Very close to the Hindu temple.

Lovely place! Clean amenities with a wonderful staff. When arriving in the dark the entrance was a bit hard to find because it was so dark from the outside and didnt have a sign in front except for the restaurant within. But once we were there it was all smooth sailing and a great experience

Disregard for guest safety and customer service.Incident:People who were in the room next to us started partying at two am, playing music very loud, yelling, smoking weed in a non-smoking room, and drinking. Our three-year-old son woke up, startled and scared. Then our two-year-old son woke up. We called the front desk. The response, no problem, we will take care of it. There was no change in music volume or yelling. We followed up with six more calls and a trip to the front desk asking for them to take action, all with the same response. The police came to their room at 7:45 am and kicked them out.Disregard for safety:Having to confront a group of people fueled by drugs and alcohol should not have to be done by a guest. One never knows the state of mind of the people, how many people are in the room, and what they have on them. A situation confronting intoxicated people can evolve physically very fast. The last thing wanted during a family hotel stay. This hotel was not capable of handling this situation and ignored it in hopes that it would stop. Keeping guests feeling safe should be the number one priority!Resolution:At 8 am someone from the front desk knocked on our door and said we would get a complimentary late checkout, the last thing we wanted. When we went to check out at 8:30 am, I asked for our money back. There was no manager onsite, so calls needed to be made. I sat and waited. The last thing I wanted to do is sit in the lobby while the kids and wife were ready to go. Then I was told we would only get a refund from one night out of a two-night stay because we didnt complain about the first night. Now at the front desk for forty-five minutes, exhausted and tired, with a family ready to go, I wasnt going to argue. Their customer service is disappointing at the very least. I do not recommend this hotel.

During the worst uptick in COVID-19 cases, we felt safe in the Courtyard. The infection control protocols are robust and well implemented. We had to travel. Marriott Courtyard helped us manage the risk and reduce the stress.

The room was perfect for my needs, the bed and pillows were soft enough to please me. The real stand out wa the staff. Everyone I met that worked there was super kind and helpful. I would say that the people made my stay exceptional! I do wish that there had been more vegetarian/plat based options for meals, but there are plenty of places to go outside of the hotel, so not a big deal.

Was sent the wrong photos giving the impression that the hotel where we were staying was the location on Torrance Blvd, not the sepulveda location. My boyfriend booked the room, when I tried to call after checking out, to locate my make up bags- my phone cord- my money and just everyday items a woman uses; they tried giving me the run around for simply asking about my charger! They insisted I hold for a manager when all that was necessary would be to contact the maid and relay the information of left items, ask to have them call if located. Ive called day after day theyre not giving me any answers! (Could only be 2!) Maid found it come get it, orno ones reported finding your belongings sorry!..... SO EASY,but no they have me hold for a manager who continues to inquire about (the actual guests information) as I stated I didnt check in! room wasnt in my name. Why do you think Im able to answer your question my only concern is my items returned!

Got in around 10pm. Evelyn at the front desk greeted me and was very friendly. Gave me some water and got me an upgrade. I really felt valued as a elite Titanium member. Overall the room was great. Bathroom and décor are a bit outdated, but usable. No included breakfast, but typical of a Courtyard. They had a small café where breakfast was service, the sandwiches were averaged priced, but they were good. Overall good stay. Great service from the staff.

I stayed here while my house was being fumigated. The room was modern, bed was comfortable, the shower worked good. Wifi was fast. The staff are wonderful. The location is fantastic with plenty of great restaurants nearby.

Our room was ready early for our check in. We were exhausted & really appreciated that. Our room was quiet & comfortable. We only took advantage of the breakfast option & were not disappointed! The treadmill & elliptical in the gym are fabulous. There are so many areas to sit & relax in the lobby area & in the courtyard. We especially liked the room near the pool - nice & airy without being in the direct sun.

Front desk clerks need extensive training. My room was already paid for and still charged me $947!!! She asked for a card for incidentals... and I get billed for five days!!! I DID NOT authorize this charge. Upon discovering this, I attempted to dispute this and you can imagine how that played out. Im still trying to get this issue resolved. PLEASE ensure your front desk people communicate with the public! This is unsat! Im glad I dont need the $947 towards my mortgage or Id be hurting. Very disappointed in the lack of effort to try and address the issue.

Excellent management skills ! The manager went above and beyond to help me and my payment arrangements which was the only good thing about my stay. I very much appreciated it. Only thing I didn’t like is how they kept having a young Hispanic lady knock on my door to literally give me the same message they did over the phone. It was really unnecessary. She was a little rude and aggressive which was very uncomfortable for me. Hotel is also very pricey. Prices never went down, and they booked quickly so we had to leave very soon which was unfortunate. It kind of changed my perception of booking with Marriott anymore.

Other hotels in area offer more value because they offer free breakfast. Stayed here because it was convenient to charging station for our electric car. Just a few hundred feet away at the office building next to hotel. You would also get higher rating if you had some charging stations on the property.

We totally love this hotel. This is the second time we have stayed here. The hotel is clean, cozy, and comfortable. The staff is friendly and goes above and beyond to make your stay a positive experience. It is located in a safe, well lit area that is close to restaurants. We will definitely stay here again.

The guest room was quiet, comfortable and clean, and the facility overall is the same, with ample free parking. Meals offered at the lobby eatery are varied and tasty, albeit fairly expensive. The location is convenient to many nearby dining and shopping places, but is still quiet. The room has no safe for securing personal items. Sightseeing places also are within reasonable reach. An easy improvement would be for the front desk to offer local newspapers and local area maps.

Let me tell you about my wifes visit. My wife stayed at this hotel with her sister for a wedding. The accommodations and location were wonderful. The best part was the food. She tells me they ordered breakfast and the food was wonderful. Lemon Blueberry Ricotta Pancakes and Avocado Toast were excellent. Zahia is in charge of the morning kitchen area - her and her team are wonderful.

Staff is good. Check in is easy but room smells old the last few times I have stayed. HBO and Showtime says its free but cant get it to work. Check other hotels if choices are available. I stay here because of work. I think there are better hotels in the area I have stayed at here. So dont judge hotel by staff, its not their fought. Needs to be updated overall.

We needed a place to stay one night that was close to LAX while avoiding the congestion and noise of the immediate LAX area. This location was perfect for that: free parking for our rental car, quiet and safe neighborhood and easy access to highway and gas stations. The lobby has had a full renovation and is beautiful. The rooms are dated but clean and comfortable. A microwave would have been great but rooms do have a fridge. Would not hesitate to stay again.

It was a great stay. I would have liked a bit more stylish interior for the bedroom but regardless I had an amazing stay. The staff were friendly and wore smiles the entire time. That was the first time I had seen so many smiles.

This Courtyard served as the home base for my son and I while attending the Long Beach Grand Prix. After a long days at the races, it was nice to come back to our rooms to relax and recover from all the walking. The HVAC quickly brought the room to a comfortable temperature and the refrigerator was great for keeping our drinks cold for each days event.I used the Marriott app to check-in online and found my room key ready when I arrived. Its great to get the notification when the room is ready too. The front desk staff were very quick, efficient and pleasant.The property is convenient to the 405 and 110 and easy to get to/from the Long Beach convention area where the races were held.I would definitely stay here again for next years Grand Prix!

Older, well maintained hotel Sepulveda. Clean rooms, had older air conditioning units. Nice bistro that served breakfast. Everyone we interacted with was quite helpful. Would stay here again if in the area. Be sure to try the Kings Hawaiian reataurant within walking distance on Sepulveda. Great breakfast and fresh breads and Hawaiian juices. Delicious

Ive stayed at this location several times this year and plan to return when Im in the area. Its comfortable and typical of what I expect when staying in the newer Courtyard locations. The central courtyard area is nicely landscaped and the pool is open until 10 so provides a good opportunity to relax at the end of a long day- only wish there was a hot tub. The Bistro cafe is open later too and I like being able to order ahead and take food back to my room after a tiring day.

From the time I arrived until the time I left, there was nothing, but good customer service.The staff were friendly and checked in to make sure I was enjoying my stay.One security matter being on the first floor, was found when I entered the room.The sliding glass door was not latched.I rectified that matter ASAP and did not have any issue.Staff should make sure the room is secure when during their daily walk through.Overall, no issues...Convenient location to get to the places I was visiting that weekend...Good price using my free night reward!!!

The Courtyard is a relatively quite place for getting work done after hours. If you are here on business and are looking for a comfortable bed and little disturbance, this is the place. The staff is exceedingly friendly.The location is reasonable only if you have a car. I was Ubering and walking and the area has very little to offer by foot unless you like fast food and even that is a hike. It was over a 30 min walk for the closest good restaurants an an hour to provide a good mix.

As always, Marriott is reliable and you can anticipate what you get. Most rooms on inner courtyard have balconies that overlook the pool area. Beds were very comfortable. Lobby was updated but rooms were a bit dated and kind of dark. I wish they had an included breakfast. We wanted to get something to eat at 7am, but the bistro was still closed so we had to go elsewhere for breakfast. Not convenient if you have kids. Another Marriott property down the road has more amenities, nicer rooms and includes breakfast for a little more per night.

First of all, my flight was very late. Upon my arrival to the hotel, the Front Desk Clerks were very nice, helpful, friendly, and welcoming. Both clerks gave me recommendations where I could order food at such a late hour, which I really appreciated. My room was nice and clean. When I had breakfast at The Bistro, the food was good and the service was great. The check-in and check-out procedure was nice and easy.

Outside of not having any USB ports which other hotels have I cant complain. The nice gentleman that checked me in hada spare i was able to use and give back. I had the one king bed bedroom which isnt huge but it could accommodate two people and ou not fill claustrophobic,however my master is huge so I have a very bias judgement.The location was quiet and the entrance looks great. The food was worth eating and runs about the same as going out for a bite. Get up and get breakfast by 1030 and youll be fine as they dont serve lunch dinner starts at 5;but they do have a small corner where you can by drinks and snacks. Oh yeah they have Starbuks. 3 miles from the freeway which is great cant get lost.lolI would stay again if i was in the area and didnt want to drive home. I would go and relax in the pool area which appeared to be rather relaxing. Next time i will have to remember to pack my phone charger.

My reservation date is Mar 9, 2019 - Mar 31, 2019 for 3 weeks. I wouldn’t choose to book this hotel ever for my next work trip. Definitely can find better options around the area. For my 3 weeks staying, I have two packages arrived but only received one package and the front desk deny received the lost package! Probably the package disappeared itself! The laundry room need to pay to do the laundry! I had stay at the suite that have cheaper price but you can do free laundry and include free breakfast.

Marriott is a great experience! I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting and needing to rest well while away from home. I had to go a resort on my visit and I couldnt wait to return back to the Marriott because the bed at the Marriott was far more comfortable. Thank you Marriott!

I spent 3 nights there and loved the room, amenities, and service. Walking distance to Kings Hawaiian restaurant and bakery makes it even better! Pool was just the right temperature and lots of comfy sitting areas in lobby.

We were visiting family in Redondo Beach. We found the hotel very convenient to that location and the surrounding area. The hotel is clean and the staff were very friendly. We had a standard room with 2 queens and found the beds comfortable and the room clean. The carpet seems a little tired but other than that it was a good room. The bistro in the lobby had a good breakfast for our family. Overall, I would stay there again.

We enjoyed staying at this property for the first time. We have stayed at other Courtyards in the area but will return to this one in the future. The room furniture is tired but well maintained, the lobby has been updated. We appreciate the free parking and the surrounding neighborhood provided opportunity for things to see and do. We are not fans of the new soap dispensing system in the showers.

The hotel staff are wonderful and always very friendly and helpful. The guest rooms, lobby and Bistro areas have all been updated and are nicely appointed. I stay at this hotel for business meetings every quarter and it is always nice to have the staff acknowledge that they are glad that I am back each time. I also like that the staff does not appear to turn over and it is good to see the same staff members at each visit. Overall, I would recommend this hotel for its customer service and friendly staff.

We have family in the area & stay at this location several times a year. We have never had a bad experience & love the location for convenience to beach cities, restaurants & activities without the exorbitant price you normally find with the beach area properties. The beds are great, the facilities are clean & quiet. We always need to run to a local store for something or just want to shop. This location allows easy access to all amenities. We dine at the beach & love the beach activities and we are just 10-15 minutes away from those locations as well. We highly recommend this property.

I was impressed with how the location was very close to everywhere we needed to be. I felt very safe and comfortable. The pillows were nice and I slept like a rock in that bed. I will be back to stay here next time Im near LA.

This place was great. With exception of not having microwave in room. They also dont offer free breakfast but they have all u need there if u choose to purchase. From a bar to starbucks..heated pool. Clean room. I def recommend to any who are staying near by. In comparison to other hotels near by this is one is not expensive and staff is pleasant and over all better

The staff at the Courtyard Los Angeles Torrance are very helpful and provides excellent customers service. I can provide several examples of their excellent customer service based on my own experience. When my family and I were stranded at 3am in the morning in the lobby of another hotel, having already been told that the Courtyard was sold out, we got a call from Lucy, a staff member at the Courtyard to let us know that they will give us a room since one of their guests did not show up. Not only did she give us a room, she offered to also pay for the taxi from that hotel to the Courtyard. We were all very tired and mentally drained from a very rough day and traumatic experience that that meant the world to us. While we were still waiting at the other hotel, Lucy kept checking in with us always reassuring us that she would continue to look for us for a place to stay. The other staff members were also very friendly and helpful always answering all our questions. We needed directions and information and Karen was there to help. The staff went above and beyond to help us out where they could. Due to unforeseen circumstances we had to stay in hotel rooms for 3 nights which we did not plan on. The staff would adjust the charges for us. We got a call from Brenda, one of the staff members of the Courtyard,to follow up on the incident of the night that we had to sit in the lobby of another hotel till 3am.To compensate for everything we had to go through, she offered us a free nights stay! I have never experienced anything like this before.All I can say is wow!

Friendly and helpful checkin person, no issues and anticipated my questions. The breakfast French Toast was excellent! Decent internet speeds... for free! I always try to stay at a courtyard. \Two suggestions 1) the elevator can use a makeover and a magnifying mirror in the bathroom would be fantastic. Other than that, this hotel was perfect for me.

This Courtyard is looking/feeling quite dated and in need of room/hallway renovations. While the lobby has been updated recently, the rooms looked and felt like it has been more than a decade since updating and are definitely not of the same comfort level as most Courtyards I have stayed at over the past year (as a BonVoy Gold member, there have been nearly a dozen). That being said, the staff is friendly, and the location is perfect for family gatherings in South Bay.

If you are looking for a complimentary breakfast you wont find it here. It cost money to purchase food which is micro waved. Also, if you do stay here, recommend you get on the top floor since the lower floors need more sound proofing - we could hear the person above us at all hours tromping with their feet across the floor. Only top floors for us from now on. For those two reasons, we would not stay at a Courtyard anymore. We prefer the other Marriott properties that include a complimentary breakfast. Only stayed here due to closeness to home when we had to leave for two nights due to floors being resurfaced.

This property blew me away with its exceptional service. The young lady at check in anticipates my needs and met them accordingly. She made my late night arrival pleasurable. Thanks for the upgrade as my family and I enjoyed every bit of our awesome stay.

First off: this place is old, so set your expectations accordingly. If youre fine with older construction, then youll probably be satisfied. The room furniture (bed excluded) is newer, the lobby is a modern, relaxing space, and it has all the standard amenities Id expect. Parking is free and plentiful.

Great place to stay. The reception and Bistro staff are exceptionally friendly. Bistro food is excellent. Outside area and pool was not used much when I was there but the pool water was nice and warm. Breakfast is not included in the above average price for a room which is a pity but Bistro breakfasts (and dinners) are great. No extractors in the bathroom so dont have garlic and beans at the same time.

The courtyard Marriott is a decent hotel in Torrance. The lobby is nice but the rest of the hotel is just fine. The staff is friendly and helpful. There is a small cafe/Starbucks in the lobby for breakfast and dinner. The room was clean and quiet but nothing outstanding.

The staff always helpful and agreeable. The serving Bistro staff also rate an excellent score. The behind the scenes staff (handymen, cleaning ladies, etc. always give good service.) This time I could not push a luggage cart because of my broken ankle, the staff was more than willing to help me. They unloaded my SUV and took luggage to my room and put it where I requested. When I left, they brought the luggage cart, loaded it and put in my SUV. I also use an Oxygenator at night and the front desk staff made sure it was in my room even before I arrived after being delivered by the oxygen people. Cant beat the service here.

Stayed for one night. The room was clean, modern, and spacious. The staff were all very friendly, professional, and well-trained for great guest service (from initial check-in at the front desk, to breakfast the next morning at the café, to final check-out at the front desk). Parking was great...checked-in at the front porte-cochére and then drove around to the side where our room was located for an easy entrance/exit through a secured door (used room key for access).

The place i Tidy and kept in order. The pool is not more than a pool. Staff is friendly. A double bed is small for 2 so get Queen or bigger. I am not big nor is my wife but we had a hard time getting sleep.

This hotel had everything needed for a relaxing day off. I wanted somewhere quiet and clean, near many restaurants and shopping. Its conveniently located as well as easy access to rooms due to close parking on all sides. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the lobby was homey. All in all, I will return.

My only comment is an experience I had over the new menu coming out 2.0. I was able to try the menu at a Charlotte North Carolina Courtyard and was highly disappointed. The food that I loved has been removed from the menu in addition to so many favorites that I know other travelers enjoyed. Its a shame that Marriott did not take the time to survey there most frequent customers on what they enjoyed about the bistro both food and experience. My future voices in the future once this site moves to the menu 2.0 will change as I am not a fan of any of the items that are on the new menu. I hope that prior to this rolling out nationwide Marriott reconsider some of those key food items that business travelers enjoyed and why we enjoyed the bistro.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. The pool and patio are a nice area to relax. Doors face pool or parking lot. I would not have wanted to have a first floor parking lot room. Breakfast was expensive there but the Kings Hawaiian restaurant across the street was terrific. Also check out Cocohodo for great Korean Walnut Pastries.

Rooms were clean and tastefully furnished, plus on-site laundry facilities were such a convenience, since we were there for several days visiting family.The staff couldnt have been nicer. We will definitely be staying here during our future trips here, and happy we are Marriott Rewards members..

Nice place to stay, convenient not glamorous, Get a real breakfast elsewhere. Recommended if you can afford it.

Clean, simple, friendly staff. Not the newest or trendiest remodeled room. Lobby has a more modern look. Clean pool with float toys.

I wish I had discovered this location a long time ago. If you happen to need lodging in the LA area its a very nice and reasonably prieced hotel that puts you within an hour of reaching any attractions in Los Angeles. Very spacious and clean rooms. Excellent polite and warm staff. Our say was wonderful from check in to check out.

This stay was brief but was the beginning of a 15 day cruise to Hawaii. The hotel was chosen due to proximity to family who would be taking us to the harbor. My cousin recommend the hotel and very happy that she did. Only thing missing was a mini bar! Wonderful bed and I am particular. Nice shower head as well. Would hurry back especially if I am fortunate to take another cruise out of Long Beach.

Recently stayed about a week over the Xmas holiday. Got the 1 BR suite for wife and 2 kids. Overall good place and will consider staying again. Nice sleeping quarters. Staff was very responsive to requests and made stay pleasant. Didnt get chance to eat much at hotel but the one time we did, the food was good. Good exercise space with 2 treadmills and elliptical, weight bench, plenty of towels and sanitizer-yea! Nice location and close to shopping and other restaurants. My cons would be the typical hotel room smell. Some stains on floor and couch.

Wonderful Stay Overall. Will definitely return. Staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was amazing!
