I signed up with Apple One in Long Beach years ago and never received one call for any positions. I found a position on my own. Recently in March, I found out I was being laid off so I decided to be proactive and start signing up with different employment agencies and reactivating with the ones I had previously registered with. I met with an Apple One rep at the Torrance office thinking I may have a better experience with a different location and I explained my situation. She was extremely certain that based on my skills and qualifications, it would be no problem to find me a position within the salary range I wanted, if not more. I followed up with the rep as I stated I would and I STILL havent received ANY response. I attempted to reach the assigned rep by phone, email and text. I received no response to date. This is extremely unprofessional. When I call, the receptionist sounds so bothered. Additionally, I referred my cousin who is looking for work as well and she was sent on a couple of interviews but when she followed up, she received no response either. What type of employment agency is this? Ive never received such unprofessional and unresponsiveness from an employment agency. My recommendation would be not to waste your time or energy. No stars from me.
I cannot say enough about how helpful Ha and Nayomi were with getting me a job. I walked in on a Wednesday and by the following Wednesday I was hired for a great position with more money than I expected! Ha was amazing at guiding me through the process and helping me to get more than I expected. I highly recommend AppleOne in Torrance.
They overpromised and never got me a job and the few interviews they did get me didnt call for a second interview. I wonder if they followed up? I ended up getting a job on my own.
Awful experience. Recruiter sent me 4 jobs and never gave feedback. I contacted them regarding some feedback on postions.................. no reply. Pls save urself some time and money. Go reach out to legitimate recruiters. This office is NEVER gonna find u a job. Trust me. They’ll give a a“I have a placement rate rate of 90 some %” and smile to you. They wont deliver.
I wish they had no stars. I wouldnt recommend this agency to anyone. I had never worked at a job agency before. I had one assignment for three months. I was told these jobs can become permanent and you would be told. A month before my assignment was over I asked my agent what happens after the assignment ends if the employer does not ask you to stay. I wanted to know does the agent look for a new assignment as I was concerned I would be without work. I didnt get a straight answer. I was told your job is secure and if anything changes I will let you know. Implying I was going to still be there after the three months. Not only did that NOT happen. My agent left the company and NO ONE informed me as I was on assignment when my agent left. I was then told I no longer have a agent and havent not spoken to or met any agent. Each time I go in every agent is on lunch. Even though I went in at a different time. These people dont care about you or even attempt to find new assignments for you when one ends. Very disappointing. Very unprofessional as well.
I signed up with Apple One in Torrance several months ago, but to date have not had a single follow-up call or prospective job opportunity, which makes me wonder what the purpose of signing me up was in the first place. This is typical of several employment agencies that I have signed up with. Is there some sort of quota system that Im not aware of?Cynthiaa
I originally signed up in Sherman Oaks but moved to Torrance a few months later. The Sherman Oaks office was great about communicating with me, I just didnt end up using the service. I had a great impression so I tried the one in Torrance because I really could use it now. My agent is horrible, has never made any effort to communicate with me about potential jobs and was rude and impatient when I reached out to her. Its been months and I havent heard from her. I think Appleone still has potential, just not this location. Dont waste your time.
I use to be signed up with AppleOne years ago and was always on call. Currently, this will be my 3rd time signing up with them as the last time I signed up with them I DID NOT get one call and I am in the Technical Industry. I do not know what is going on with AppleOne. I am going to give them one more chance just to be sure, but I am surely disappointed in what is going on with them placing people. Their recruiters are a bit out of touch with what is going on in the industry, they were asking for 10 years qualifications on software that was not in existence 10 years ago?! Seriously! Was this a test too?
I worked for them for a while. It certainly got me by
Worst temp agency ever, they under pay you for your work, and cancel your contract after they made the monthly quota .... really bad business, unethical, refuse to help find another job after i had surgery ....
