This place does it all... Well almost. Title transfer was so easy and fast. Very helpful and friendly staff. Check to see if AAA can do for you in 15 min what DMV would take all day to do.

They were able to complete my DMV related tasks in 15 minutes, after trying for days to make contact with a live person through the DMV! I suggest using AAA for all of your DMV related needs.

AAA is my one stop shop for all my car needs. I was recently gifted a family members car and Ivan really helped me through the process. He is knowledgeable and professional. So.glad he was able to answer all of my MANY questions!Well...since I acquired this new vehicle, I obviously needed to get it insured. If you dont have AAA my question is WHY?I cant remember the last time I was at the DMV.Here even if the place is packed. You are in and out within 20 mins.Just dont plan on using a debt card. Cash or check only.A must have!

The young woman at the counter was very dismissive, disrespectful, and appeared bothered by my presents.I left the building and attempted to call AAA multiple times over the following 15 minutes without success from my car. I tried again about 10 minutes later, and the agent was very professional and friendly. She notified the manager of the AAA facility I had visited about 25 minutes earlier. That manager left a message on my phone, stating that she address the receptionist with my concerns, and corrected her actions towards me.

Disappointed that they wouldn’t complete a VIN verification because I wasn’t completing a full registration process. Instead I had to go pay a vendor $80 to complete a simple form and look at my new car I purchased from out of state.

Super impressed with their logistics during COVID. We got there right when they opened on Saturday, and I was freaking out a bit seeing 3 long lines full of people already. But they were so organized, sorting us into different lines depending on service (i.e., DMV renewal, title change, etc.), and a worker came to us in line to verify what we needed to do and then grabbed a form and clipboard for us to fill out while we were waiting in line. He even told us what parts to fill out and sign to make the process even quicker.By the time I completed the form, we were already at the front of the line. Then we were ushered in, literally sat on the seats in the waiting area for less than a minute, and my name was called. So efficient, and I didn’t even need an appointment!Then I had to switch from the DMV side to the AAA side, and the guy walked me over to an agent who was very patient in explaining all my options for car insurance.I dunno if AAA is the cheapest provider, but their service and the attached DMV work like clockwork.

Fast. Went to DMV section and only one person in line. Lady was very helpful and knowledgeable (unlike the REAL DMV). Ive been a member for 35 years because, at 11pm on a rainy night, one call gets you a prepaid tow, jump, spare tire put on or lockout service in less than 45 minutes (usually). No brainer.

Very fast and efficient..All the staff was very nice and professional... Even though the line was long they had a very good system to get people in and out quickly unlike the other AAA locations...Great Job!

Went for a dmv transaction. Workers I encountered were not cordial and not completely informed of all DMV protocols and Regulations (only a handful are) They waisted my time. Very poor experience. Would not go to AAA for dmv transaction ever again. This is not a smooth process! You better off waiting a little bit more at the DMV.

AAA Automobile Club of America Hawthorne and 230th during this time of the covid 19 😷 theres a line outside the door for Auto vehicle registration and another line for insurance or travel.... Ive been a member for 19 years since 2001 I have the RV Plus 100 miles tow for my vehicle or motorcycle since 9-11 when the terrorist attacked the Twin Towers everyone at AAA employees were very helpful and polite. Going to AAA is better than going to the DMV its a lot quicker if youre not a member you should join they have a lot of benefits to help you on your way theyre always there for you and theres a handicap parking....

It was pleasant..almost got the run around when some hipster dude acting like he knows everything without looking at my paperwork ..( he told a newer girl to send me back ho.e with new paperwork and redo all my task because it was slightly wrinkled due to age of paperwork and lots of handling...then i was saved by a more experienced aaa worker who looked at my papers and tild me ti sign certain missed spots ..she fit me over to a nice gentleman who was easy ti talk to and. Whim i can relate..we git evertging in order.. I was happy and legal.. Thank you aaa. Adults. Whi have knowledge ..not just nice shoes and walks around like he has been doing wide pull ups everyday at the gym but clearly has not.

Their phone recordings are useless. You need to speak to a representative to answer a question and you cant get through to get any useful information. I called three different branches and still couldnt get a representative.

Fast and professional service

During this quarantine, it was easier getting a AAA card to take care of my business than standing in those LONG DMV lines. The process toke about 15 minutes to take care of all my business. It was worth spending $55.00 for a AAA card.

Do not use AAA Driving school. I purchased the package 30 hours and Behind the Wheel. I was told that once my daughter received her Permit # to contact them. I contacted them and no one from the driving school called me after 4 days of waiting. I was then told they could not begin driving with my daughter until the end of July. They did not live up to their end of the agreement. When I called to cancel they charged me $75 dollars to cancel. So much for being a 30 plus year member. TERRIBLE SERVICE.

Long line and little help . No one i tested in helping. Told would be at least an hours wait. This was at 10:30 in the morning on a Wednesday. AAA spend millions on TV advertising then offer really poor service

New vehicle and transferred old plates to the new vehicle. So much easier than trying to get an appointment with the DMV.

It was a little unclear which line to use. Perhaps an info desk as a first stop to help direct customers would help.The lines were outside due to Covid 19.

We just came here to get our out of state cars registered. The place was well organized with outside queueing and tent. All of the employees were very friendly, helpful, and quick. Only if DMV were half as good as these guys. Would recommend this AAA location to others.

Good thing about AAA is that they have social distancing and they have people helping people!!When you really need help, most of the time you are messed over. At AAA, at least you know that someone will help you. They also do renewals on car registrations as well. If not, San Pedro is the best DMV to go to. Temperature checks, social distancing, and in and out services in under an hour in most cases.
