There was a bit of worry/ frustration with the initial response time. (Called and emailed a few times)But I received an email and the staff was in frequent communication throughout my reservation process.The instructions were clear on how to get here and what to do once you arrive. Our Pilot was awesome and patient with our nerves in the beginning. The entire flight was smooth and pretty relaxing.

Horrendous communication. Completely unprofessional. Possibly the worst customer service Ive ever experienced. Its a real shame as they could have a great little business if they looked after customers/prospective customers. Im sure there are some other great operators available, keep looking for them.

Bought from Groupon. 80 dollar added on for gratuity once you get your appoint through email, isnt mentioned in the groupon but I didnt mind paying the fee; Its a business and I get it to an extent. The experience was great! Such a fun day out for my husbands bday. Was def worth the price and Id pay again with out hesitation! We had a lady as our instructor she was great I forgot her name but she made the flight so nice and relaxing! Great personality and overall just a nice girl to experience our first flight with!! My husband loved flying the plane he wants to get his piolets license now!

“BEWARE” they will try every possible way to charge extra money from you.$65 holiday charge ?? God knows what that is.$50 if you carry a camera or go pro$78.99 gratuity tax “ god knows what this is”And there are many more..Though I made a double booking they denied to cancel one.I do not recommend these guys.

Called 12 times throughout 5 days, tells me to contact by email to set up an appointment... sent 2 emails within 4 days apart... No one has contacted me whatsoever!! You SHOULD put on you ur website THAT YOUR NOT OPERATIONAL!! Now I can’t get my money back and need to “Trade” it. Very disappointed.

I went up on a discovery flight and ended up signing up for lessons to get my Private Pilot License and couldn’t be happier. Cary is a amazing instructor, very knowledgeable and calm.

Take your business elsewhere. The most dysfunctional customer service. No record keeping and you CANNOT get anyone on a call. The manager Benny after not reading my email and providing me with wrong information refused to get on a call with me to provide a solution to a problem that he created! Not even a sorry, instead pointing in the direction that I was being dishonest. All through email no live contact. Unheard of in today’s customer service driven world. Very disappointing. I did not get a chance to use their services but with that kind of dysfunctional customer respect and service I wouldn’t trust them!

Overall, the flight was nothing short of breath-taking. I truly enjoyed every bit of it (except for the landing). I will definitely be flying again. I give the experience 3 stars because of communication prior to flight. The company is email only; responses to emails came off rudely but that could be misperception, hence the importance of phone communication.

Had a great introductory flight with Cary! He even let me fly the plane over the Queen Mary, Downtown LA, Griffith Observatory and South Bay Beaches!I highly recommend Cary and South Coast Aeronautics!

Very difficult to work with these people. They will not talk to you (email only!)Many hidden costs: $50 Airport User fee that other flight schools dont charge. Additional $50 fee on weekends for better sightseeingMy Groupon stated $129 for a discovery flight, and ended up costing $230

I called but was asked to email them to check flight times, which I did but never heard back. I went to the location and no one was there. One couple showed up, then 40 minutes later Cary walks in and doesnt acknowledge us and straight to the couple then they walk away. Another hour later, I see him coming back with the couple but does not come in the waiting area, and he can clearly see my son and I. I had to chase him and ask him what the deal was with flight times. It was only then that he said he did not have any openings for the rest of the day and threw a peace sign ✌🏻and closed the door. Really poor customer service, and they need staff to answer our questions. I take a helicopter or plane rides everywhere I go and have never been treated like this. Not cool at all by Cary. Stay away from this place.

SCAM! Avoid them. They cancelled our flight after we drove down there and waited over 30 minutes post-appointment time. AVOID! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. VERY RUDE.
