This was the first time ever having a cleaning and not cringing. Least painful ever! I would def tell people to come here staff was very friendly as well!

DO NOT BUY A MOUTH GUARD AT GENTLE DENTAL!I had to pay $400 for a night guard because it wasn’t covered under my insurance. When I got received the mouth guard I was told it had a one year warranty. After 8 months, it cracked, they didn’t even look at it and said the warranty was only 6 months and I would have to spend $400 for a new one. I will go back to buying cheap $20 ones at Target that last longer!!

I’ve been a patient since I moved to the area 3 years ago. I’ve opted to stay here even though I now live 45 minutes away because they are thorough, friendly, efficient, and yes, gentle. Don’t worry a bit about it being a commercial office vs. a more traditional practice. You’ll get the same friendly service in the chair and in the office!

Great staff I was running a tad late and I called them and they assured me I’d be fine when I got here and very nice.

The people are very knowledgeable and kind and helpful and so very patient with me they are very good with the way they explain the procedures and processes that they are doing.

Staff here pretty polite, my problem was the quality of work. They rush way too much, I had a filling, and immediately hurt for the next 2 weeks, they made an adjustment again and its hurt for another 3 weeks but to the point where my area was way too sensitive to eat cold or hot foods and drinks. This is my 4th time here now and Im praying they fix this and I dont have to comeback.

10/10 best dentists I have ever seen. Doctor Lew is very kind, clean, courteous and gentle, and the whole staff, including Dave & Laura were wonderful. Able to get me in quick (within a week!) for a filling. I won’t be going anywhere else. :) thank you folks so much!

Called and was able to get an appointment very quickly! They were very nice and accommodating. I couldn’t find my insurance info - they were so helpful and were able to help me figure all of that out which was such a relief!! My daughter was anxious about seeing the dentist and they put her at ease. I would definitely recommend them :)

Staff is very friendly … David at the desk is extremely helpful everyone in the office is friendly, fast and efficient. Extremely comfortable coming here considering dental visits are not always a calming experience… this place makes it … if you are on the fence I suggest coming here, Laura and Dr. Lew are wonderful!!

This office is great, with very friendly staff! They made my first visit back to the dentist in years as pleasant and painless as possible. The initial exam and cleaning was thourough but quick (Brooke did a great job!!) and they even got me back in later that day for a tooth that needed to be extracted. Dr. Wanho Lews professionalism and confidence is reassuring and his assistant Laura helped me through the (quick and easy) tooth extraction with her humor and upbeat demeanor. Gentle Dental Topsham is great!! They are updated, clean and very knowledgeable. I had a very through cleaning and my teeth have never been so white. I have Tricare and the front desk, Dave who handles insurance knows how to properly file things and make sure they are covered.

Darcy is is super kind and friendly. Incredibly helpful and makes understanding billing very easy. Great doctor, and Laura solved my dental anxiety problem. Overall great staff. I would highly recommend this office.

I have nothing, but good things to say about them. They are very caring, attentive, and informative when needed. The reason for 4 stars is because I had severe pain over the weekend, and I was not able to get ahold of anyone on their emergency line for help. Otherwise, totally satisfied.

I started going here because my husband does. Very nice and friendly people. From receptionist to doctor. I felt very comfortable even though I hadnt been to a dentist in years. I travel from Lewiston just to go here. These are the only people I trust when it comes to my teeth.

I switched my children to gentle dental and we love it here! Our old dentist office had the rudest staff. Its such a nice change. My kids love coming to the dentist now. Hands down the best dental office around!! There’s a reason the name of the place is Gentle Dental! I’ve been going here for many years now, cleanings every 3 months or so and have never had a bad experience. They’ve done many fillings, root canals and crowns on my teeth, and everyone has been so welcoming, kind and calming (going to the dentist is never fun!).

Ive been going here for 6 years now and have found the staff to be kind, friendly and very professional, especially Darcy at the front desk has helped me through the years at finding out what my insurance covers and helping me get appointments around my schedule. The dentist have all been really wonderful at their job and kind about my anxieties about dental work. The only drawback about this dental place is they split time from this place and one in South Portland and in the winter they close up quite a bit it seems due to the drive and they are only here like 3 days a week as it is, so getting in here to see the dentist ( not a problem with the hygienist) can be difficult.

I started bringing my daughter here a few months ago, the staff is very friendly, take our insurance, and its very clean. We have not have had any issues dealing with Gentle Dental. I would recommend this dental office to my family and friends.

Amazing staff, super kind and very very thorough. I called for an appointment (my first time) and they got me in the next day, did X-rays, found the issue, gave me antibiotics & faxed my papers to an oral surgeon. They went above and beyond in a matter of 20min. My four year old had an appointment this Monday as well. I trust them with my son 100%. I’m not going anywhere else again. Love love love it

I would highly recommend this dental office to anyone. I had to cancel a couple of times. They were always flexible rescheduling. Also I had a tooth which caused a lot of issues due to an incompetent root canal. The pain became unbearable. They got me in same day. Realized the tooth needed to be removed on short notice. The office went as far as calling 6 oral surgeons to do an emergency extraction. They were able to arrange an extraction and send all my information to the other clinic. They also cleaned my childrens teeth and made it a comfortable experience.

The staff has been great! All the work Ive had done here has come out excellent and everyone that works at the Topsham location is friendly. Highly recommend

They have a tv on the ceiling to give you something to focus on other than the work they are doing. The doctor is kind and is soft spoken. They do their best to help give you an estimate for services before your next visit, taking into account your insurance. Everything they do helps alleviate most of the stress and anxiety surrounding the dentist.
