For several years, my husband and I discussed getting the trees in our yard trimmed however we delayed performing this service due to high estimates, and concerns about losing shade in our yard.In June, we contacted Jack Cohagen at Custom Tree Care who met with us to discuss our concerns. We felt that the price Jack quoted was within the range we had set and gave the go-ahead to Jack to get the work scheduled. Last week, their crew led by Drew, Markeese and John performed the services we requested, to the letter. On one tree, prior to pruning, I felt that the branches were hanging so low that it made it difficult to cut and water the lawn. However, my husband was concerned that too much trimming would take away the shading which protects our lawn. As I watched from the kitchen window, Drew trimmed the branches carefully and precisely – just enough to allow the branches to raise up, however not too much so that shading was altered. The crew took the time and care needed to ensure that dead wood was removed and that healthy branches now receive the sunlight needed to grow. After substantial trimming, the crew cleaned up and left our yard looking great.Great work, Custom Tree Care crew.

Have to say, Ethan my forman is a great man to work for, has a big heart. My GM Jack is truly a decent man to work for and very thoughtful of others. The owner Greg gave me a positive impression the first day we shook hands. This company is the best. I got the estimate on Thursday evening and the work started at 730am the next morning. We just bought our house and knew we needed to do a total clear out, the trees had not been maintained for 3 years, the vines on the fencing was way over grown. They came in a did total clear out at a very reasonable cost. I would recommend this company to anyone!! Adrian and his crew were very professional and knew what they were doing!

I moved into a home with a rotting, half dead Ash in the back yard hanging over my house. It was probably 125-150 ft tall! These guys climbed up in it, and dropped this tree quicklyqand safely! They even fixed my neighbors tree that had a large limb resting on her garage, ready to fall and do some damage. They were very timely, quick, and professional. I plan to use them in the future if needed!

We live in Plantation FL., just East of Fort Lauderdale. Custom Tree Care was contracted by Broward County to help with the aftermath of Irma. They sent a total of 17 trucks and countless other equipment. Moreover, they sent their fine crews who selflessly left their families and friends behind for more than 6 months. Having been ripped off by many tree companies here in Fort Lauderdale, I read the reviews for Custom and decided to give them a chance by removing three 40 foot ficus trees and trimming of our beautiful 55 foot live oak. They performed flawlessly and did what they say they would do. In addition, they went above and beyond in cleaning up the debris. What I was most impressed with was the humble, good old boy, Kansas work ethics. The crew was polite, thankful, and very professional. Custom tree Care is trying to open an office in South Florida and i hope they are successful in that endeavor. I unconditionally recommend them for any kind of tree work. Thank you Zak and crew! Fabulous, Professional, Knowledgeable. Adrian Ibarra, an arborist, gave a thoughtful estimate & altho not the cheapest bid, he was head and shoulders above 2 other firms. The right machinery, a 7-man crew ofDominic, Randy, 2 Zachs, Saul, Dillon and Cody who worked non-stop all day and did a meticulous clean-up, left my property in perfect shape. At the same time they did work for my neighbor who was also very pleased. I really cannot recommend this firm more highly. Worth every penny.

The tree removal went well but I paid for stump removal that never happened. After many calls and as many excuses I still have stumps to removed that I paid to have removed. This company is full of excuses and doesn’t seem to follow through once they have your money. Find another company to engage.

We have used Custom Tree Care multiple times and they are always very prompt and professional. The crew shows up when they are scheduled and they clean up when they are done. I highly recommend them and we will be using them for any future needs.

The truck driver stopped in front of a bunch of deer to take 50 selfies and videos for over 10 minutes while scaring the deer into traffic. Not to mention trespassing on someones property.
