This happened one week after my nails were done. It happened with my last manicure as well. They insist on doing a dip and putting shellac over it. The dip is what doesn’t stick. I’m very disappointed. I have used their services for a couple of years and now this. I will NOT be returning and I dropped by to tell them so. I pay far too much for this to happen one week after a manicure. They request you make an appointment, yet, you sit and wait.

First time to this salon and it was an awesome visit! Pedicure was great. I will be going back. Thanks sister for referring us.

So let me start by saying I am not reviewing and rating on the quality of the service as I did not get the opportunity to get my nails done. This review is based on customer service satisfaction. May 27th, 2021 at about 10:40a I called to see if they had any upcoming openings/availability. It was short notice so I would’ve understood if they did not. However, the man told me to come at 11:45am. I arrive at 11:50am to be exact and the nail tech was finishing up some one else’s nails (no biggie). The nail tech asked me what services I needed and told me to pick out a color. Once he was done with the customer’s nails I initially saw him with, I thought he was getting ready to start on me next. Instead he “gave me the polish and said it was going to be a little bit.” He then starts on a completely different customer’s pedicure. It’s after 12:00pm at this point. Mind you myself with an 11:45am “appointment” and another customer with a 12:00pm “appointment” are still waiting. 12:30pm comes and I leave. Honestly, I shouldn’t have stayed that long. I don’t understand why people tell you a time and don’t commit to said time. He could have told me when I called that he was busy and it would be longer than expected. Communication is key. This nail shop is short staffed currently (only saw 3 nail techs) and they don’t honor the times that they set. I’m new to Topeka and I can’t say that I will ever visit this nail shop again just based on principle alone.

This place is the BEST they get you right in. Walk-ins or appointment. Its gets really busy in the afternoons so best to make an appointment.

Rean is my favorite nail tech!!! She’s always super nice and loves to talk with you while she does your nails, they last SO LONG!!! The acrylics I have done are always perfectly shaped and smooth! And her prices are totally reasonable for the amazing work she does!

I tried this salon for the first time a couple weeks ago. The salon is clean, well organized and they have a good selection of colors. I got a pedicure and a dip manicure... but they did nothing in the way of soaking, shaping my cuticles, or trimming hang nails on my fingers. They just filed and shaped my nails.

Not pleased with the work with the lady not friendly and work is rushed and sloppy.

When I lived in Topeka I always got my nails done here. They do good work, they go above and beyond what you ask them to do. Service is quick and good customer service.

Everytime I go to Beauty Nails in North Topeka, I get amazing service. Kevin and Angie are awesome and kind and really care about their customers. They are on top of the current trends too. Go and you wont be disappointing.

Pedi polish did not last

Honestly horrible. Nails werent shaped at all and were all different lengths, color was messy and unappealing. I had to go get them fixed somewhere else right after:( Nail tech was so rude and careless. Also over charged me - $55 for full acrylic set with regular color. Never returning or recommending. Have some pride in your work and be friendly!

My nails were done bye a dude they looked good a first but after a couple days they looked very rough and my pinky nail even fell off i would not recommend this salon. Poor care for nails

Disappointed they close on Sundays now. But they always fit me in and do a nice job!

The service is quick, courteous and professional, with no embarrassment for my being a 64 year old man getting color on my nails. I havent worked up the nerve to get a pedicure yet but I am debating it.I truly enjoy Angies work as much as her conversation. She is a wonderful person.

I need an ombré fill and repair every 3 weeks. Always fast, always right, great price. I’m new to Topeka and have pulled half my head of hair out trying to find a decent, consistently great, place. They have done my nails 4 times in a row..... very well. YES!!!!!

Not the best acrylic feel Ive ever had it lifted in a week

Went with my friend who got the same thing yet our total were $10 different ( before tips) and the lady who completed my nails was not polite or friendly. Disappointed to find my nails done sloppy :(

Great prices! Very personable and friendly. They listen to what you ask for. And they are open on Sundays! They need just a little practice on doing an ombre. But ombres are very very tricky. The last time I was in, he made sure that he went all the way to my cuticle with the fill and the acrylic was not too thick! That means a lot to me! Thank you very much sir!

I have always had a great experience! I am in a wheelchair and with my nails just done it’s hard for me to wheel without messing them up. The owner has always helped me out to my car even in the middle of a thunder storm once. I love my nails every time I get them done at beauty nails.

Workers were sitting around after I came in, no one got up to help me for 10 minuets. Once I was situated for my pedicure, the worker was harshly pulling and ripping skin, causing a couple bleeds. After I was painted up, the worker left. I figured since I had to wait for them to dry, it wasn’t a big deal, she’ll be back right? 30 minuets go by and she hasn’t come to ring me out or check on me. I look and see she left me to go get her own nails done.I didn’t leave a tip. Ripping skin, bleeding, and ditching customers doesn’t go well with me.

Both of the owners Angie and Kevin are both great artists when it comes to nails. If you make an appointment with them you will be happy. I go in for pedicures. The guy that I have had the last few times just isn’t good. For one he doesn’t greet you at all. I would t say he is rude but not overly friendly. He does an okay job polishing the nails not great but okay. He however can’t draw a flower or lines or anything on your toenails. He tries but he just really isn’t good. I was in the chair from 9:35 till 11. He is a bit slow and then I had to ask him to do one toe over again because it was too sloppy looking. He still couldn’t get it looking right and asked the owner of the store to help him which she did quickly. I will be finding another place.

Update: I no longer go to this business. They make you feel like a cattle run.. the last time I went there I felt like a walking wallet. I could tell they were in a hurry and the services were horrible.Its always delightful to go here. The staff isalways pleasant and very helpful. I took my sister-in-law in for her first pedicure. She loved the experience and will be going once a month.

Without a doubt, the pampering I get at Beauty Nails is my most guilty pleasure. I feel so good getting a deluxe pedicure and an acrylic manicure that I would go every day, if I could. I have been a regular for 4 years now and have always gotten wonderful service. They are really artists and I get super free hand designs for which I have always received many compliments. If you have not given them a try, you owe it to yourself to get the deluxe pedi. One you have had the citrus sugar scrub on your legs and feet followed up with a cool mint mask, you will wonder how you ever lived without it.

Literally the worst nails I have ever received. I asked for rounded almond acrylic nails and they gave me nails pointy enough to stab someone. None of the nails were even, all of them went off in different angles and were shaped differently. Some were a little pointed than others and one wasn’t pointed at all. On top of all that she left acrylic underneath the nail instead of filing it off. The lady that did mine was named Angie and owned the place but it was clear she didn’t care about her job. After she finished my nails I sat in the chair while I waited for my mom to finish up with hers. Angie cut her nails in front of me and watched as her nails pelted me while she cut them!!! Don’t waist your money here, make the drive and go to the place off Wanamaker, Charm Nails.

The new owners arent very customer service friendly, try telling them you dont like the shape or you want them flat and NOT thick 😒, Ill just take my service elsewhere!!!! Unfortunately its because u arent on wannamaker that is such a great convenience for others

Had my nails done here twice. I will not be going back. I have my own long natural nails. I wanted an acrylic over them to strengthen them. I asked for just a couple of thin layers of acrylic finished off with a Gel clear polish. Both times I was left with bulky, super thick not natural looking nails. Bubbles in the gel top coat to boot. Ugh. And they charged me the same price as when one has artificial tips put on. Crazy. Thick and bubbly! No thanks. 😔

I would rate nothing if I could. My Acrylic Nails was not done well at all. At first they looked great but by the next day they where turning orange and the acrylic was chipping off. They lasted for about a week. I dont if it was old product or what but I WILL NOT go back. Customer Service wise was OK but they was definitely cell phone happy. It came first then the customers.... Smh

I went to get shellac done and the lady was very rushed (the owner) the entire time. She spent 10 minutes max on my nails and some parts of my nails didn’t even get fully painted! I tend to come back there even when the service is bad because it’s not far of a drive from me & I keep thinking it will be better the next time I go, but there will NOT be a next time for me anymore. Spending my money elsewhere on nail techs that actually do quality work

The tech didnt push back the cuticle for my ombre. There was a small gap between the gel and cuticle that widened steadily....needed a fill after only about 10 days

I usually have a good experience but today i got my nails done..a fill and shellac my nails are thick and uneven some nails are only partly squared off and there is air bubbles under my shellac going back tomorrow in hopes someone will fix them free of charge since i paid 40$ for them which come to think of it is the same price i paid for the initial full set
