They are super knowledgeable and did a great job servicing my sons tenor saxophone. It literally sounds sooooo much better. He took a good bit of time going over what was fixed and how to prevent future problems all at what I would consider a super fair price. We wont go anywhere else from now on!!!

Manning is where we are renting a flute for my daughter. Several times our bank card has been compromised and the charge didn’t go through. EVERY TIME they have been very understanding and awesome to work with

The instruments are good quality. The drum sticks are a bit pricey. I would like to see more variety of instruments but overall it was nice and competitively priced except the drum sticks.

My 4th child is now going thru band in Topeka and Manning has always been the place we go for all the kids needs. Their music and instrument accessories have always been in stockade a good price. The repair services have always been done in good time, with great service and at a good price. The only thing I wish was different was the price of private lessons. When my oldest son went through we payed $100 a month for one half hour lesson a week. 7 years later and the price is now more than double that amount.

The kid at the counter was really cool and helpful. The owner is a huge wealth of knowledge. Told me the history of my grandfathers fiddle/ violin. As we shared stories about said instrument, I got very excited about the thought of having my grandfathers fiddle restored in his memory and hanging it on my wall... Then he told me he refused to do so, citing that the instrument would never be able to be played again. I tried to explain to him I wasnt worried about that and wanted to hang it instead. But he still refused. Pretty let down, but an awesome place anyhow.

The people who work there are really knowledgeable and polite. They are quick to acknowledge you when you come in. They have good prices. Would recommend to everyone.

Ive been going to this store since they were in Brookwood Shopping Center. They helped my parents keep my first brand new drum set a secret from me and gave me a line of credit at 14. Two locations later Im buying sticks and marching lyres for my oldest son and they spent way more time than was necessary to help me research a Coronet that I found on the side of the road. Were extremely lucky to have so many great local music store options. Guitar Center discounts would be nice but they wouldnt get nearly as folksy a review. Ever.

Great to work with. Brought in an instrument needing repair and they had a loaner.

Not very helpful. Same woman was often rude and condescending if I or my son had questions about the instrument. Automatic payments accidentally kept coming out. Reluctant to exchange unopened reeds with receipts when the incorrect ones were given. Repairs took weeks longer than suggested when instrument dropped off. I 100% dont recommend, its worth the drive to go somewhere else.

Bought a new Mandolin for hubbys Birthday. Good service.

They have great service and many things to buy for your instrument. But some workers have had no idea how to re-string my cello and some even had trouble tuning it. They dont play cello, so its understandable that they arent comfortable with it, but I would imagine some of their training or requirements would be knowing how to do a simple repair or even tune.

Went their with my son to get him sone drum supplies. There is not a huge selection of drum supplies or drums but there was enough for what we were looking for. The staff was very knowledgable and friendly. Would recommend it to anyone and would go back

Every time I go to Manning Music, I have a great time. The staff is always knowledgeable and courteous. They dont mind if you come in and jam a bit while waiting for service, either, lol. I wish they carried more lines of guitars, though. All in all, Id rate them four out of five stars.
