Worst Place for Repairs on Small Engines. They took 23 days for working on change a new belt to a 🚜 Tractor Mower. Also they never made it. I went to a different place and in less than one hour the tractor was repair.

I was disappointed today went in to get an exmark oil filter for my mower. The lady handed me a Chinese knockoff filter. I said no I want an exmark filter she said that is an exmark filter I said no it doesn’t say exmark. I want the one in a exmark box and says exmark on it. She got me the right filter but naturally it was two dollars more in cost. That tells me they are not making enough on mark-up on the official exmark filter so they are pushing Chinese junk. If I wanted Chinese junk I could buy half the price they charge. I think I will contact Exmark and let them know one of their dealers is pushing inferior parts for their equipment. The manual says use official exmark parts. It’s all about the Benjamin’s

Two hour labor charge to change a belt. Used it once and their belt broke no warranty. Used them before thought they were great, not now. Wont be spending my money there again.

Had the Tire, Had the Rim. Couldnt get them to become one. Took them to DH Lawn & Garden and was fixed up in no time. We had already spent about 3 days trying to get fixed. DH Lawn & Garden had it all done and ready to go in about 15 minutes. Friendly Staff, they all seem very knowledgeable. I highly recommend this place. Was a good deal for the price also.

Great place to get new equipment! They have a lot of equipment in stock and can order something they dont have stocked, be it equipment or parts. I bought a troy built mower here and have had them working on my go cart as well! Great service, great staff, quality work! From now on this is my only small engine shop that I will come to! We purchased a 60 Lazer Z in 2015. These folks told me I could mow tall grass fast which may have been an understatement. It is not only a beast of a machine, but the full-suspension seat has kept me off of the chiropractor table for 4 years! D&H has provided excellent, good-value service, always treating me like their favorite customer. Highly recommend Exmark and D&H.

I have more than just these 2 examples to love this local North Topeka business but these stand out. First, in early summer my push weed wacker finally died so I had to get a new one. I researched and found the model I wanted and after making one visit to D&H, going home and doing more research, I made a trip back and bought a Remington 22 push. The staff spent time explaining the pros and cons of this model, we discussed what I needed out of a weed wacker, and they answered all of my questions. I bought it at a really good competitive price and it did great all summer and I highly recommenced getting outdoor equipment from D&H. Me second example is this - I had a big problem with my Husqvarna 18 chainsaw. It would not start and it was awfully hard to pull. I dropped it off and they said it would be a couple of weeks since its that time of year.....OK. I called a couple of weeks later and they still hadnt had a chance to look at it because of some bigger unexpected things, OK, things happen. Staff indicated they would put a rush on it and call me ASAP. Keep in mind this was all before and during the Thanksgiving Holiday.....A day later they called me, it needed a carburetor and lines. I said go for it. A few days later it was ready to pick up. I got it home and I felt like there was a problem with how hard it was to start but it did run and idle so that was fixed....I called and they were very sorry I had an issue and said bring it back. I took it back, they worked on it again and really couldnt find a problem, it did seem easier to pull and it runs like a top. NO EXTRA CHARGE and I know they went over it again and took it apart to inspect all the way down to the cylinder compression and everything. I trust these guys and that is really hard to find. I trust their abilities and will continue to take all of my outdoor equipment there and I highly recommend them. I would like to add that I appreciate that they sort of let me ramble on, I really enjoy talking about motors and stuff so its fun to talk with these guys. 5 STARS! 6 if I could!!

This is a place that you can get a naw mower. That will last you. You can get all the parts you will need for here as well. They are willing to help you out. They will help load and unload your mower in the car or truck. They do there best a getting the mower fixed as fast as possible. Some time they do get behind. Just take you mower in at the beginning of the year. For a tune up. They get you mower ready for the year. Thin your mower will not break on you in the middle of the year. Overall this is a good shop.

I could not get my Hustler to start and thought it was the ignition switch. I got a new one from DH and put it in. My Hustler still would not start. I called DH and they walked me through what to check and how to check it. They were great and it ended up being a loose wire. They have my business from now on - love the customer service.

Best retail experience I have had in a long time. Nick was very personable and responsive. Walked in with a sick chainsaw and they immediately went to work on it. Less than ten minutes later, done. A real wow factor. Will be back.You all need to use them for any small engine repair,parts and new equipment.

We had an Ice Storm in Junction City, Ks I went outside to remove tree limbs from my yard that had fallen. However my chainsaw was not working. Lowes Hardware store in Topeka, Kansas recommended DH to have my saw repaired. After driving and hour from Junction City today to have it repaired walked in and was met by Jacob with a smiling face and it only took him five minutes and my saw was repaired. Great Service I recommend them to anyone out there thats in a hurry Jacob will take care of your equipment with a smile. Thanks for the Great Service!!

I bought an Echo Power Drill from DH for my business and was very happy with the customer service I received. Jacob took the time to explain to me which oil to mix with the fuel and how to take proper care of it. I will definitely return for future purchases.

I had a very old Grasshopper, needed something new. Tried the Exmark Z series. I was amazed from the get go- cut my mowing time in half, everything about this mower is user friendly and comfortable. I would recommend to anyone!!!

I received excellent help in fixing an engine problem on a Snapper Turf Cruiser. After countless calls locally and finding no one who could help or expressed much interest in trying to help, I contacted DH Lawn and Garden Equipment. I found them on the internet, gave them a call, they spent a long time on the phone trying to help figure out the problem and asked if I could come in and they were sure they could help. I drove. 50 miles to their shop, they had what I needed and now my equipment is fixed, I would give them a top-notch rating for helpfulness, friendliness, expertise and I will definitely go back if I have problems with the equipment in the future. I consider their service extraordinary and I hadnt even purchased the equipment from them. Thanks guys!

Wow!! All I can say. Cam in with a tiller that would not start! Drove me crazy and I needed it right then. I googled tiller repair and dog popped up never heard of him. Brought it in and told nick if possible I need it right away. He told me they were a week from lookin at it. I still dropped it off. When I got home I had a message from Adam saying tiller was done. Just got done tilling with it and runs better then when I bought it. Thank you guys!! This lady will return thank you again

Used to be a great place to get small engines fixed, last time I was there I felt like I was getting ripped off.

After being told my saw was supposedly not able to be fixed. And after PAYING 60 bucks. I spent 20 minutes in my garage working on it and was cutting wood. Called them, was told sorry about that. We made a mistake. No refund or even a partial refund. I DO NOT recommend them!

I have a 48 SCAG mower I took to Dh for repair . It has a brand new engine that has both electric & pull start. I took it for a tune up and to hook up the kill switches for safety reasons.I understand that this is a very busy time of year for businesses of this type. An they compensated me for the inconvenience, an I appreciate that they understand at least in part. Having work in the shop of the district Toro dealership For many years. i understand the frustration of both sides.

Must be under new management, when I stated that its hard for me to put the belts on because it hurts to get back up I was told it would be over their minimum of $90 just to put the belts on even though I have the belts. I was going to let them work on it until the person in the office said you can do it, it was then that I decided to take my business elsewhere.

Sucked flat out my husband went in to get our mower looked at the guys behind the counter got an attitude with us told my husband he did need to come in with a chip on his shoulder and he was taking calmly and was basically told to eff off NEVER AGAIN WILL ANY OF MY FAMILY STEP FOOT IN THIS HELL HOLE OF A COMPANY
