If you need to do laundry and a laundromat this is one of the cleanest ones and nicest atmospheres in my opinion. You can go super early in the morning or late in the afternoon.... I wish someone could help you and very clean.

Went there twice, first was alright but the second time a random patron punched me with no provocation.

Theyre machines are better than they use to be. The bartending staff could be a little more helpful and accommodating and not tell people how they need to do their laundry...

Clean with friendly staff and they have a bar right there attached to the laundromat i showed up at 1045 thinking they close at 12:00 am and after I had already put 2 loads in the washer in formed they now close at 11 by staff but was told I can go ahead and wash and dry them... That was unexpected but I am so grateful

I love to do my laundry at Louies! Its clean, bright, roomy enough, plenty of table & chairs to fold or sit, newer working machines & free WIFI! It does get busier on the weekends but I have found a schedule to work around that. People are decent there, keep to themselves, are courteous & wear their masks. I do wish that the smoking bar patrons would be more considerate of those of us doing our laundry next door by not standing right by the door to smoke! I dislike immensely coming out the laundry door with my fresh clean laundry to walk thru smokers stinky harmful cigarette smoke! Could the bar staff put up a sign in or out of the bar door or both, to remind them to stand down north of the laundry doors maybe? That would be greatly appreciated!

Good place for laundry just gets busy sometimes and shady characters sometimes

I normally go here and get clothes clean with no issues but today I went and the ATM charged 5 dollars for my transaction when it normally only charges 2.75. There was no number to call the ATM so I ask the bar tender/laundry attendant for it and she didnt know it and was adamant about making her statement that it was not her responsibility to address my issue. I needed either a phone number or just simply a refund....none in which I got.

I do my laundry here weekly. Always super clean and friendly.

This is the only laundry mat I go to. Theres never been a time where Ive gone in and didnt get at least 2-3 big loader washers. Also the laundry mat and bar are always nice and clean and the employees are super sweet. Id recommend anyone to come do some laundry and drink a beer or soda while you wait for your clothes to get finished @ Louies lounge and laundry.

Had a horrible experience at this place and will not be back...was in there doing laundry yea I get it that we are suppose to wear mask but technically if someone with asthma or a medical condition doesnt have to wear one..the girl wanna catch an attitude and yell at me in front of everybody and only yelled at me there was a couple more people with NO MASK AND DID SHE SAY ANYTHING TO THEM NOPE...SHE WAS VERY RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL TOWARDS ME ......

This place is always clean, and the machines all work as well. If something does go wrong, the bartender on the other side doesnt act put out if you need assistance. And face it, there isnt anyplace else where you can get beer at the same place you are washing your clotes. Its safe and well lit too. I dont go anywhere else when I have to go out to do laundry.

One of a kind! Best place to do laundry if ur always on the go. I tend to forget about laundry till late in the evening, but Louies is there for me. All others close around 9 P.M. Hands down coolest place to do laundry. I personally dont drink anymore, but have never been bothered by anyone from the bar side of this establishment.

I dropped my laundry off on Saturday for the first time and the lady weighed my clothes and told me there was 14 lbs of clothes. I paid for the service and left. They were supposed to call me when it was done. I waited all day Saturday and all day Sunday and I didn’t get a call. So I called them and they told me there was a problem. The guy informed me that the laundry wasn’t weighed correctly and I should’ve been charged more. But they never bothered to call me and talk to me and didn’t even tell me that the laundry was done. They also don’t weigh the laundry in front of you. The guy was pretty rude and I will never be returning because of that.

Dropped clothes off in the 2 big 5 dollar machines and when I got back clothes were still soaked! Asked the bartender whats the deal and she says wash em again and u might of used too much soap lol umm ok they are soaking wet. Thanks for nothing. Had to take my soaking wet clothes back home to wash again might be slower but at least it works! Thanks Louie! Greatly appreciated!

Louies Lounge has got to be one of the cleanest laundromat and bars around. There is an attendant there from 6 am to close that works in the bar and keeps the laundromat clean. A majority of the washers are 22# front loaders but they do have 2 top loaders and 4 44# front loaders for comforters and sheets. The washers and dryers are all brand new and work wonderfully if you dont overload them! My clothes get clean and the washers spin so fast that it doesnt take long at all to get them dry. All of the staff are extremely helpful and very sweet. I feel completely safe there and font worry when Im there alone! Cassie, Megan, Brian, Lee, Sunshine, Buffy and Rhonda arr all so wonderful and if you have a problem just talk to one of them.

Always clean. Never any issues. Inexpensive for the mega wash and dryers are super hot so they dry fast

I was just going to never come back and leace it alone but the owner, decided to post a notification in his laundromat offering customers a chance to offer their opinion on Google...so why not?Its true that the staff is friendlyband courtesy, but I will NEVER return to this place. My wife and I went in with a mountain of laundry and occupied a total of 8 washing machines to get everything done. One of the machines however was full of suds the whole cycle...not like typical laundry detergent but like somebody had ran dish soap through it before we got there. At the end of the cycle the load was still soaked in soap suds, and needed to be washed again. I went over to the bar and told the bartender the situation, and she apologized and promptly called the owner to explain what had happened. We went ahead and re-washed the load because I had assumed he would have her reimburse us for the $3 we had wasted on his faulty machine. But instead, he told her that we would have to pay for another load because the issue was most likely our fault for adding too much extra soap. Really brilliant, Louie...you just lost a pretty regular customer who had already spent 30 dollars just washing laundry, and more to dry over being a stingy ass for $3. I myself am a manager in hospitality and I would never accuse an upset customer of being the cause of a problem that was clearly on me for having faulty equipment, especially to save my business $3! Whatever, getting a new washer and dryer soon anyway, but even if I never do, Louies has seen my last quarter forever.P.S. The only reason I rated 1 star is because in order to comment, I had to rate SOMETHING.P.P.S. Are you going to post THIS comment in your laundromat for all your customers to read as well?

Service is good, owner is friendly, nice atmosphere, convenient for those who need to do laundry and would like something to do while waiting. Got some pretty decent pool players that hang out there if you want a challenge. Does not have a full kitchen, snacking foods.

Has punks running his business. Went in there just needing to dry a few loads of laundry, and got told I couldnt just dry my clothes cause thats not what makes Louie money. Then was told I would be physically removed if I didnt leave. He said thats the rules. Yet I looked everywhere and didnt see any rules. Louies goons are punks!!

Got banned just because I reported my clothes had got stolen. The owner also lied and said I had my clothes stolen from there which is untrue because I havent even had my clothes stolen from any laundry mat until I went to louies lounge Saturday evening.

It was my first time there but it was definitely one of the better times I had at a laundromat in Topeka in a long time. Clean place, newer machines, tv to watch and an ATM.

I will NOT be returning to this laundromat.. Both washer i used had a god awful sour smell after i washed my clothes 2 times in different washers.. And the dryers dont dry well at all!! It was a waist of the last of my money.. Now i get to have sour damp clothes to deal with somehow before work tomorrow.. If i could give it 0 stars i would.. Only upside was the loung nextdoor.. Good idea but horrible washers and dryers..

The facility is clean, and most of the time it is quiet. The price to wash is 3.00, which is twice as much as gage wash, but the price to dry is the same.

This was not a good place to do laundry! The washers dont work, some of them dont fill with water all the way. My sons clothes still had food residue on them and still smelled dirty! Waste of time and money!
