I was there for a beautiful wedding. The building was bigger than i expected. A lovely place for that occasion. It does not look as big from the outside. I would recommend for any occasion.

Its cute. Has rustic decor. Entrance isnt fantastic towards 33rd but, the inside really is adorable. Kinda small though so if its a big group, people who like space and elbow room will be a little claustrophobic. No windows in the main room that I recall.

Great venue. The inside held 200 comfortably, it was clean and background noise level wasnt bad. Also had a nice/ large outside patio area. Needs to have patio furniture. Our group had to stand/ lean against a wall. Kids loved it.

The Foundry was responsive to our needs and communication. It was a lovely, clean building. Having staff on hand was a plus and they were friendly and receptive to last minute changes being made. Overall a great place to hold an event with very little decorating needed to make it look great.

My initial destination wedding was canceled due to COVID so we decided to have a small wedding in town last minute. Larry was absolutely AMAZING!! Planning a wedding in less than 3 months is extremely stressful but Larry helped in every aspect from decorations to catering to even helping me figure out how much alcohol I should buy and during the reception Larry stayed busy the whole time, helping with things he definitely didnt have to do. The venue itself is absolutely stunning and reason enough to book it, especially the courtyard but just know you will truly have someone in your corner helping you every step of the way if you need it. Thanks again Larry for helping my day be as special as it was!!

What a gorgeous event space, not many people know even exists!

From the initial walk through a year ago and all the way until we left at the end of the night of our wedding, The Foundry crew was nothing but helpful. They make you feel absolutely comfortable, make sure they do everything they can to make your event great! Leading up to the event they were thorough with what was needed to make the day a success but want it to be exactly to your liking- recommended vendors that we used, and were easy to get ahold of. The day of the wedding was a breeze! (What bride can say that?) From Betsy handling logistics, to Larry moving and shaking everything into place and even the bartender doing everything she could with a smile on her face. The wedding party never wanted for a single thing as Larry made sure our every need was taken care of (and of course a fresh drink in our hands!) At the end f the night they helped navigate the break down of everything and were nothing but polite. HIGHLY RECOMMEND for a wedding or any event you may have!!! The price is a steal with all of the love they show you while you are using their facility.These people treat you like family.

My husband and I just recently had the opportunity to get married at The Foundry. Our experience could not have been better. We booked The Foundry as our wedding space before COVID hit. Even with the ever-changing restrictions, Larry Barnes, our event coordinator with The Foundry, helped us to feel we could still have the wedding of our dreams.The Foundry’s space is the stuff of fairytales. We were fortunate enough to be able to have our wedding on their back patio, in November, which was our hope.I especially want to sing praises of Larry. We could not have remained as calm, cool, and collected about our wedding day if we did not have him guiding us. Larry was responsive and informative and so kind. He kept us laughing throughout the process and helped to quell any of worries. I even spilled taco sauce on my wedding dress - before the first dance - and Larry was there with the perfect solution to get the stain out.The Foundry - and Larry - helped to create the perfect evening as we started to our life together. We hope we have further opportunities to rent their space in our future.

Great comedy show tonight, great venue.

I hosted a shower there for my sister. The venue was very clean, set up beautifully, and the staff person there to help was phenomenal. I would certainly host another event there!

When I was first looking at potential wedding venues, I was looking at venues that provided the bare necessities or were far out of town. I recall briefly looking at the Foundry Event Center in Topeka during my search, and after days of fruitless searching and contacting other venues, I came back to the Foundry when I saw that they were having an open house event. The moment I walked into the Foundry I knew that this was the best venue I had seen. I came prepared with a list of questions and Larry, the Bar and Events Manager, was there to answer them all! They offered three different packages that ranged depending on your needs, but their ultimate goal was to provide more than just the bare necessities. We chose the one that catered to everything we needed during our Saturday wedding. They also offered a décor package, which we took full advantage of so that we didn’t have to source and store all of the decorations ourselves! In addition, we also used their day of coordination services, and my day of coordinator, Robin, was absolutely fantastic! She helped with every detail of that day and took everything that I had already planned out and made sure that everything went smoothly. On the day of our wedding, I received numerous compliments on how smooth and seamless the whole event was going and reflecting back, I know I had such as great time because of who was there, and that it went so smoothly! Larry made sure that the drinks were flowing and that the fun never stopped. The whole Foundry team: Robin, Larry and Betsy (who I had the pleasure of interacting with at several open houses), were integral in making our wonderful night magical and the best night to remember. It may have poured all day long that December day, but it provided all of the luck and best wishes we needed.

Highly recommend this venue for a reception or any other party! Beautifully decorated and the team was wonderful to work with. BIG Shoutout to Larry, who is in charge of the alcohol, but did SO much more for us on our big day! In the meeting before the day he was super easy to work with and gave us so many ideas! On the day of he was there helping set up and making sure everything was in order. Thank you so much Larry and the rest of the team for making our day so special!

Went to a wedding at The Foundry ❤️

We used the Foundry for a work function for about 150 guests. We had a guest speaker and a networking session. I cannot say enough good things; we loved working with Jen and Larry. We had such an amazing experience working with the entire team at the Foundry! They were professional, efficient, and thought of everything.Have your event here at the Foundry! You can count of professionalism and helpfulness. They helped make our event a huge success.

Fabulous new venue for the comedy scene

Great venue and food was delicious! Staff had everything perfectly organized to keep everyone safe and happy.

As a photographer, I love shooting at The Foundry! Their large open space is excellent for dinner and dancing, their outside courtyard is just gorgeous, and their private bridal area is perfect! Definitely set an appointment to check it out!!

A lovely venue for a small to medium sized event. I would call the atmosphere warm and cozy with an industrial feel. There are eclectic touches every. It does have a small parking lot so get there early if you dont want to have to park on the street. It is handicap accessible. There are not enough venues of this size in Topeka. This place is one to contact!

My fiance and are had decided in a very short time we would be getting married the beginning of 2020. With only 4 months to plan, I must say we have been blessed and so lucky to find the foundry! We wouldnt be having our wedding if it wasnt for Larry and kim! They went above and beyond to make sure we could make our wedding happen! And Im more than happy and blessed to be getting married at the foundry! Would recommend to absolutely anyone who is looking for open warm arms from staff there and a atmosphere in general! One of the most beautiful places Ive been too! Couldnt say anything but wonderful things about the foundry! Thank you guys for already making the start of my marriage a amazing one!

I had my wedding at The Foundry and I chose it intially because its beautiful, romantic and all the decor is what I was looking for. However, what really blew me away is the staff! Larry went above and beyond and I cannot say enough good things about him. All day and night he made sure the whole night was smooth and that my husband and I were well taken care of. I highly recommend the foundry if youre looking for a stress free, beautiful wedding. And thank you from the bottom of our hearts Larry! We truly appreciate you

Great updated rustic/shabby chic decor. Small, but intimate venue. My only complaint is a moderate musty odor. It was noticeable but did not distract me from having a good time. The staff seemed attentive.

Everything was so beautiful. They honored all of my grandfathered in contract. The only thing I would suggest is to not replace people without letting Brides know who theyre supposed to be working with. I love the person who I talked to when we first got started. The lady that I had right before my wedding was not as helpful though.

Loved Jen, the main event coordinator. Not so much our day-of coordinator, McKenzie. Our day went well overall, but felt the coordinator fell short on her tasks and just collected a check.

Amazing facility at a very reasonable price. The owner was willing to work with us on how and when we paid, and always returned our phone calls quickly. All in all it was a very positive experience!

Held my daughters wedding reception there. Beautiful space, staff was awesome. Great experience from start to finish. Thank you, Foundry staff, for helping make the evening perfect!

We had our ceremony and reception at The Foundry and it was amazing, top to bottom. Jen, Larry, and the entire team at this venue are professional, communicative, and genuinely want to make your event special and run smoothly.We live in the Kansas City area and were unfamiliar with vendors in Topeka so Jen helped us find exactly who we needed, and they all turned out to be incredible. Larry helped us with space planning, purchasing items and alcohol for the bar, and did all of our day-of coordination. Every step of the ceremony and reception was flawless thanks to his pre-planning, direction, and help.The space itself, inside and out, is beautiful and impeccably decorated. They have cushioned chiavari chairs, beautiful tables, and a ton of of decor you can rent that goes perfectly in the space. The outdoor patio is also amazing and made for beautiful photos - both in the daylight and in the evening when the string lights are on.We couldnt have had our dream wedding without the amazing folks at The Foundry and cannot recommend them enough!

The location is nice. Bathrooms are clean and nice. The decor is neutral enough for all sorts of events. Parking lot could be a little bigger.
