Lance and the whole team there were so nice and I did not pressure driven at all. Had a quick and easy experience and got me the car I wanted at great price. When I showed up next morning to pick up my car Brian the financial person get me an even lower interest rate and brought down my payment. Full tank of gas and free oil changes I was set and off in my new car. Thank you for a wonderful experience and look forward to dealing with Briggs for my next car.

When I entered Kia, I was shown to the waiting room and offered coffee or cold bottle of water. The area was clean and seats were socially distanced. I was told it would take 30 minutes to make the adjustment on my car. It took 25 minutes. The nice surprise was they vacuumed the front floor area of my car. The people were very kind and friendly. Good place!

We bought our 2013 KIA Sorento at Briggs and were very happy with the service and salesmen. About a year later the paint started coming off on the top of the drivers door in chunks. When we took it in to show them they responded that they had never seen that happen before. After reading reviews we read about a customer who had, had that happen to them also.. Its extremely unsightly. After we bought the vehicle we found overspray under the hood, so had obviously been painted prior to our purchase at some point. So, if buying used it would be a good idea to check for overspray. Senior folks beware when buying your vehicle!

This experience was so unexpected from a dealership service center, that Im still in disbelief. I have been using the service center for my oil changes and vehicle repairs for 6 months now. I didnt think I had anything to worry about being that there is a reputation to uphold at Briggs. The service center diagnosed major repairs needed for the replacement of the catalytic converter along with replacement of O2 sensors and spark plugs in my vehicle when the codes were only indicating cylinders misfiring. This was a $3.6k repair that was quoted to me. Thankfully, I went to Performance Tire & Auto to get a second opinion because all that was needed for optimal vehicle performance was new spark plugs. It was indicated to me by Performance that the O2 sensors are operating as they should be and there are no problems with the catalytic converter to warrant a replacement at this time. I didnt expect such deceitful service from Briggs Kia, but thankfully I will not be mislead and out thousands of dollars by them now or ever in the future. Be cautious of their advice and always get a second opinion!!

I had looked at a few of the cars they had online. I got a call back pretty quick and had a chat with Sam. She was helpful and had ideas that made my mind up for me. I stopped by drove a few cars, the salesman Guerillmo was super nice and helpful. We worked some numbers and finished up the deal. I also get to take my car back in to have it detailed. It is definately the little things!

Getting the appointment was the easy part. However the customer service was unsympathetic. Weird but they didn’t acknowledge your arrival, didn’t check in after an hour and didn’t even say thank you. A young man was helpful but the entire visit felt more awkward.

If I could give my experience here a zero star review I would. Took my brand new car in bc the brake pedal was stiff when I get into it and I have to use excessive force to use the push to start. I’ve had a push to start for years and I’ve never had this issue so I know something is not right. They say they can’t get it to duplicate the issue but I showed it to the service manager upon pick up of my car. They claim “they wouldn’t know what to submit to Kia for the warranty claim.” I feel unsafe driving my car as this could become a bigger issue while I’m driving if something happens to my brakes. It is a huge safety concern for myself and others. This problem just started this week and I’ve had the car since mid May. Do better!

On Aug 4th, 2021 I stopped in and talked with Josh the sales manager about selling my 2021 Kia Forte, a lease I purchased last November. He stated that with the market the way it is I would walk away with approximately $1,200 in my pocket, I was undecided at the time. Fast forward to Aug 23rd. I go back to sell my car based on prior information. Magically the market has changed and I end up walking away with $400. The market did not change, and they offered $2,000 below kbb trade in value. Unfortunately I was in a tough position and had no other choice. I would NOT recommend this dealership.

HIGHLY DONT RECOMMEND. They are scamming their customers. First, they are overpricing their vehicles. We called them out on it and they lowered it $5,000 to the actual pricing it was going for before we even talked numbers. Secondly, I was being offered things by the store manager himself after he saw my credit score. I guess the questions I was asking they felt the were going to get a no deal. The manager admitted to me and my husband that he had gotten HIGH a bit ago from talking to us. I believeto seem more honest, and he even laughed it off. Even the salesman told us afterward he couldnt believe he admitted that to us. Lastly, The financial guy was trying to have me sign paperwork without even reviewing anything. Literally. We had to come in the next day due to them having to switch out the battery because they had to jump start it twice the day prior on the test drive, but the mechanics left for the day. Luckily for us, we came back the next day to complete the deal, I noticed that the contract had fuged numbers and the finance guy put our vehicle sale for over $3,000 more to keep my monthly where I wanted it. He didnt think he didnt think I would catch that. The store manager didnt remeber what he ws promising us as an IOU as part of the deal. So he tried to explain why the finance guy must have or probably in his words did that for some reason and they can fix it. It was all for the costing of financing purposes, I believe. Knowing that we were about to say no deal he offered another discount from the store owner. I believeit was so we didnt leave and tell other dealerships their mishaps and we still said no deal. He got mad and slammed our folder on his desk very loudly. So we left. Two days later at another dealership, we got a 3.76 % vs their 4.99% and almost thirty dollar lower payment on a bigger and more reliable vehicle. Better business, better deal, better people. THANK YOU DEAD BATTERY!!!

1st time up there to look for a SUV they wanted me to test drive one that was filthy. The seat belt was wet, it smelled like wet dog, trash all over the place. Received a call saying come back they have 1 that will fit my needs. With reluctance I went they did have one. Was on the verge to purchase said vehicle but wanted a 2nd opinion from my mechanic. The guy said Kia will gladly take it there in the morning but I have 24 hours to decide. Noon rolls around I reach out, the guy was like yea I am not in. If he would have reached out to me to tell me I would have made different arrangements. Needless to say I lost out on my purchase and will now not go back due to the lack of communication and customer service. I would honestly rate them with zero stars.

Briggs Kia in Topeka. We want to give a shout out to Vicki Filbert, a service adviser in the service department at Briggs Kia. I found Vicky to be very professional, very helpful with an issue which came in under warranty. She was very nice and communicated excellently between the shop and I. They were on time, did a great job servicing our vehicle and when they brought it out for me to pickup they had vacuumed and spiffed up our car quite nice, even using steering wheel, seat and floor covers.I dont write many reviews but I felt the folks here at Briggs need a shout out. Pro timely service, caring attitude, great communication and going the extra step to present our car much better looking than the way I brought it in. Highly recommended. Thank you folks!!

Test drove the car we liked, it was nice, clean and ran good. Had it scanned for trouble codes while on the test drive. Came up with one code in history. ($1000 turbocharger) Took it back and told the salesman, he took it to have their mechanic check it. Salesman came back and said that was a history code from work done before. We thought all was good so they work hard for us to get it at the price and payment wanted. Got headed home 2 1/2 hours away and the same code keeps coming back. It is a 2013 with higher miles so they told us no warranty on it and no extended warranty available. Like I said, they did work hard to get price and payment were we wanted but would not go back.

Had to change review. As you can see from my original review below, I had issues with the paint and it spread to the front of my car starting in January. I asked for the original people that helped me and was told that they dont work there anymore, was told a manager would call me. After calling 3 times after not hearing anything for 2 weeks. I have since relocated for work & I had to drive over an hour for them to look at it and its *surprise* not included in the extended warranty I was talked into buying & they want $1,100 to fix! Cant even wash my car or it gets worse.I had some paint peeling on my trunk. Thank you to TJ for scheduling me to see Shane Heberling. He did a fantastic job, you would never know anything was ever there. He was friendly and professional. I liked that he stayed in communication with me throughout the process. I ended up having to leave work early because I was sick and Shane personally delivered my car to my house. That meant so much to me, Im truly grateful; that is really going the extra mile for your customers (literally). Thank you again for getting me out of my lease and into a car I like and for taking extra steps to make my car look great.

I was very surprise by the tenacity that Ben displayed since Saturday. I got dragged onto the lot to just look by a family of choice member. Ben took mental note of what I wanted, listened to what my compromises would be, and then accepted the challenge when I told him that he would not be able to get me approved and why he wouldnt be able to. Due to system issues a determination could not be made that day, however, Monday afternoon Ben called and let me know that he had gotten me approved. Once upon a time I couldnt get approved for a Sportage and settled with a Forte. This time around Ben proved me wrong and managed to get me into a Sportage.

Drove an hour to look at a vehicle. They couldn’t locate the vehicle thinking a manager took it home. Sat around for 30 minutes while they tracked it down. It was in the lot the whole time. Took them 20 minutes to find the keys to the car. After the test drive while talking numbers they said the lowest they could go was $1000 dollars over what’s listed online. Worst experience at a dealership I have ever had.

I had a wonderful experience again for the third time with Kia in Topeka. I bought my first Kia soul December 2010 it was a 2011 Kia soul. I put almost 400,000 miles on that car. With only one problem alternator went out at 243,000 miles. I would say that’s pretty awesome car. I got my second Kia Soul in 2015 February, it was a 2015. I loved my car unfortunately a deer did not. On November of this year 2018 I hit a deer and unfortunately totaled my beloved car. So, I am now the proud owner of a 2019 Kia soul. I could’ve asked for a better salesman Ross Larson is the greatest he helped me in every way possible in finding exactly what I wanted, along with Brandon Combs.I have been dealing with Kia since 2010 and I wouldn’t go any other place. Great salesman great service couldn’t ask for anything more. Thank you so very much again Ross Larson. Best day was today picking up my brand new car.

Not happy with the Kia dealerships in my area but I needed a service for a recall. I took a leap of faith and got scheduled through the Briggs dealership in Manhattan. I was pretty early for my appointment but got a warm, friendly greeting and they took my Sorento right in. Miss Vicki in the service department is a gem; kept me up on the progress of the service and I was out in less time than I expected with everything done right. After looking at a 2017 Kia Forte5, but decided to look at(and buy) a small SUV from another dealership since it would better meet my needs. All was well and fine until a month after, when I got a letter from SiriusXM radio telling me to call them about my new purchase of, you guessed it, a 2017 Kia Forte5. So be cautious when believing Briggs when they say they wont sell your information or give it out. Openly lying about your confidential information policies does not make good for business. Shame on you Briggs.

Briggs Kia has an outstanding service and parts department. Ive been servicing my vehicles and buying parts from them for the past 9 years and counting. Vicki Filbert is amazing and I know when I bring my vehicle in for service, that the job will be done right and in a timely manner, the first time. John Malone in the parts department is a very friendly guy who knows that parts department like the back of his hand. And no matter the question, he always knows the answer and has the right part for the job, from cabin filters to air filters to cargo covers. You name it and theyve got it, but in the rare case they dont have your part in stock, they can get it shipped in very quickly.

We got a letter that said they would pay off my wifes Focus so we went in to see what they could do. They found a Fusion that was awesome, but they ended up buying the Focus for about $1500 less than what the letter said. The Fusion was on sale for $14,000, $2000 off the MSRP (KBB values this certified preowned car at $14,000) thats not a sale price youre just trying to make me feel good. I checked the fluids before we bought the car and noticed the coolant and brake fluid were low, they included them in the contract told us it would take about an hour at most to top them off and detail it. My wife went back the next day to get that done and was there for two and a half hours an hour and a half over what was promised (She had to cancel another appointment because of this). We went back in a couple days later to finish the finance paperwork and asked about the oil change (There was a sticker in the window but nothing written on it) Wes called Ross (the salesman) and he said he would find out for us. In the five minutes it took us to finish paperwork Ross had left the building, We were told he would call us in the morning (he didnt). We called them two days later and found out the last oil change was in December, They shouldve changed it before we even got the car. They said wed get a free one on them and made an appointment today. My wife gets there in time for our appointment and is told that they dont have us on the schedule but could fit us in.They Lied to us to get us to come in, tried to make us feel good by making up a price, didnt take care of the car by making sure fluids and oil changes were good, lied about how much time it would take to fix it, abandoned us while we had questions, didnt care enough to call us when asked, and lied about making an appointment to fix their mistakes.I think well go back to Laird Noller next time

I feel strange giving a car dealership five stars and I dont know why. But, I can say Ive bought several vehicles for them and Ive never had any real problems with the folks here. The employees seem very friendly. I have had some Auto work done here and the prices always seemed reasonable and the staff in the shop were always friendly. I know if I was in the market for a Kia again I would definitely swing by here and just take a look, no guarantees if I would buy or not at any given time but if I was looking I definitely would go by and give them a fair shot

I recently had to deal with an issue that should have been covered by either warranty or recall but it was not. Briggs made a moderate effort to make me whole but Kia was unwilling to do the right thing. Briggs, as their representative, should have some leverage to make Kia do the right thing. I worked with David Giles, who was very helpful. I already knew which car I wanted via Briggs Kia website and he got the car, my husband and I test drove it, and was able to purchase it that very day. David was thorough with explaining all the bells and whistles, along with important safety features and other questions that I had about the car. The entire staff was very friendly in general, and I was able to drive off the lot before the polls closed that day. I would definitely purchase from that dealer again in the future and recommend that dealership as Ive always had great luck with Kias.

My husband and I went to Briggs Kia looking to get out of our 2 car payments into one to lower and consolidate some debt and negative equity. We went in and told the sales man that we wanted to get into a somewhat newer Rouge than our 2011 and wanted around $300-350 payment range. Well the whole time we were asking if he could help us he never told us numbers and prices and then told us the only way to get out was to purchase a new kia with a rebate, and that they dont have any new Rouges at Topeka only in Manhattan but not only did they low ball us offers on our cars he told us that we were probably gonna need to come up so we said we could make $400 work. Then he told us it looks about $475 but it all depends on your credit and then said he said he could maybe talk them down to $425 but that I needed to sign that we could (on just a piece of paper) so that he would have something to negotiate with, while he HAD NOT even taken our credit yet or found out anything, just all talk. Then he took our credit and told us it was good and that it was $487 a month. We both told him it was way out of our range and he just kept saying ten year warrantee best one I would do this. And we said again its too much and then someone else came out saying we already pay $527 between both cars and we should be able to do it. Even though I told them it was $474 and we were trying to free up money not tie more down with only one car so again they left to see what they could do. They came back and said they got it down to $440 by extending the loan by 6 months and we said no again and the sales man said but you said $425 would work this is basically there you should do it ten year warrantee your set and I said yeah but its the same Im paying and extra $15 over 78 months and he said well you can disect it however you want but Im practically giving you what you wanted and I told him no I came in and said I wanted $300-350 and youre trying to talk us into $150 more. Thankfully my husband took over and said let us think about it and we let you know tomorrow cause I felt very bullied and that I wasnt able to say no. Also didnt ever tell us what our credit was or the interest. Would not recommend going there.Well after me and my husband didnt even want to look for another option but I was sad about not getting into another Rouge so we thought wed try the Manhattan location so I looked at the site again and realized the Rouge I liked was from Capital City Nissan of Topeka. So I called them and they said we could come in and that Randy would take good care of us. Well Randy was amazing! He told us everything step by step, never hid anything, and never once tried to talk us into something we didnt want. He let us know right away whether or not he could help us. He is personable, up front, and an advocate for his customers. Not only did they give us $2000 more towards our trade ins but found us additional rebates. We are now very happy owners of a new 2020 Nissan rouge fully covered all under $400. Thank you so much Randy for turning our experience around and helping us achieve our goal!

This dealership ask top dollar for there cars, and they play a lot of games when it comes down to your payment. Probably get a better deal in KC I know I did.
