It is nice to have a nice toys, clothes with some pretty nice shoes as well. Except they do you have stuff that I don’t know why it’s there. Like they’ll have ripped shirts or pants or Bad toys around sometimes but besides that I think it’s amazing place! Something that could be $30 could only be five bucks

I worked in the electronics area for a brief time frame. They are very well organized and well-ran. My job coach trainer, Adam, was present and helpful, without micro-managing. The DI helped me increase my electronics knowledge in the brief time I was there. I appreciated the experience.

Regulars there fight over items while on the carts and then fight over them Continuously. I’ve seen this, seen people take items out of carts etc... I have been there several times and there is always someone mad at someone else, so we won’t go in again. Management apparently has some favorites so customers have been kicked out when it is the regular favorite causing many problems.

I work at DI and I just love it. We really do offer a great service to the community. This is a temporary job that is allowing me to get back into working shape. This is one of the best Deseret industry around.

It is a good place to find just about anything except they could really sort through the things and throw away the trash... I think people dont wa t to pay the dump so they take it all there..and if there was anyway to get rid of the dirty sock smell when you first walk in it would be much easier to walk in. But there again nobodys makes anybody go there.the employees seem nice and helpfull also..

The signage for donation drop off needs improvement. First time dropping off donations, very poor signage directing drivers to north side of building. Walked inside and then clerk told me to walk across the whole building with my donations, which were very heavy. She didnt mention to use vehicle drop off area.

Love this place. Lots of great thrift items and clothes. Always clean and the clothing is very clean

This business is not available to anyone with a job since they close by 5. Completely useless.

Some prices have gone up over the last decade but still finding great deals! Remember to donate youre own stuff instead of throwing it in the bin

I am Usually happy with selection and prices, Im dismayed to see recently that prices have increased to an unreasonable level. A regular, obviously worn, ladies cotton T-Neck usually $2 - $4 was $10. A Henley mans shirt $7, next to a nice sweater for the old price of $3. I can go next door to WalMart and buy a Brand New T-Neck for about the same price!!!! Is the idea to make a profit? Or to help the low income community by being a Thrift Store?? Please reconsider your recent large jump in prices, thank you.

I once found a Nintendo 64 in perfect condition here, and they were selling it for only $25! I come here for all of my Halloween costumes!

Love coming to the DI however, if your not fast enough you wont be able to get what you need. A lot of items that are in good condition.

I went too take some stuff down there and they had to go thru it like it was junk and turned there nose up at it! What a joke the manager John asked my religion and I am not LDS so he was even ruder I will not ever go back or donate to this facility again ! From now on I will just take it to dump cause less of a hassle !!!

Employees are rude and lines are ridiculous. The cashiers are slow and dont know what they are doing. I left my stuff and walked out.

For those wondering, as I did see this question asked, the Deseret Indestries in Tooele is wheelchair accessible simply for the fact there are no stairs and the main entrance are automatic doors.On discounts, it Is a thrift store, though if you feel a price is to high for something you real out a Customer Service Leader (CSL) and can sometimes get a price discounted. Especially if something is missing or there is a flaw that might have been missed, or otherwise something you feel might make the price too high though it will ultimately be a judgement by the CSL.The staff and crew members should be friendly and helpful, aiding a customer even if their main duty is janitorial instead of sales.
